Kira nodded " okay sure" she said.

"Ok, well. Tomorrow, eh? When we have more light. I for one am going to finish this antelope and go to sleep." Figgy yawned, stretching his paws forward, before taking another bite.

Kira nodded and she stretched her body then padded towards pride rock " bye" she said to him as she walked away.

Figgy waited until Kira left. He turned over, trying to get comfortable, but the antelope was like a voice calling in his head. He couldn't resist. Not for long. By the middle of the night he was up and eating the rest. By morning his stomach was so full he could barely move, and the antelope was nothing but bones.

Kira woke up the next morning and she stretched, she padded out of the cave looking at the morning light filtering in through the cave before she turned to walk off pride rock and towards Figgy.

Figgy's stomach felt awful. He'd eaten too much yet again. It seemed whenever food was around he couldn't resist but eat it, and it made him hate himself. He was uncomfortable no matter how he sat or lay down. To take his mind off the pain, Figgy weaved his ropes out of the grass. But half way through he realised he'd made a mistake right near the beginning; he'd have to start all over again. With an angry growl he cast the rope aside, disgusted with himself, realising only too late that Kira was close enough to see him.

Kira snickered as she held her paw upto her muzzle trying to keep from laughing but she ended up doing the opposite as she started laughing rolling onto the ground her stomach rumbling in laughter.

"What's so funny?" Figgy said, smiling with half his mouth, his anger dissipating in the light of Kira's mirth. Then he winced: his stomach was still sore. "I suppose you're the kind of lioness that laughs when her friends get kicked off antelope, right?"

Kira chuckled and got up her eyes sparkling " of course not...I don't laugh at my friends.. I suppose if I had any friends at all" she said serious as she shook her fur dust flying in every direction as she did that.

[cheezeegriff]

"Why would you say that?" Figgy said, collecting his rope and unwinding it carefully. "You're young, and pretty. I bet you're fast. There's tons of other lionesses here. Surely you get along with some of them?"

[amberafridi]

Kira started grooming her fur " yes.. I suppose I do get along with some lionesses but others don't seem to like me cause of me being a outlander" she replied and stopped grooming her fur as it was clean from the dust now.

[cheezeegriff]

"Ha! Well. Aren't we a pair then," he said, working on the rope. "Here. Take these grass roots. Tie them together at the ends, like so," he said, showing her a simple double knot. "Then weave them like this." He used the runners he'd already tied together and showed her how to braid them into rope, then again, then again, until the rope was thick and strong. "Now you try. You're going to catch me breakfast, after all," he said, then grinned.

Kira flicked her paw then she did what Figgy had done in less than a minute and she grinned proudly showing him the rope she had made it was thick and strong just like the one he had made.

[cheezeegriff]

"Huh," Figgy said, trying not to look too impressed. "So you're a quick learner too. Good looks, smart... if anyone doesn't like you I bet it's because you're jealous. Not because you're an outlander." He stood with a grunt, groaning at the weight of his bulging stomach. "Here's a rock. Let's see if you can tie it to your rope by yourself then, eh?" He smiled encouragingly. "Only because you're so smart."

Kira nodded as she tried to tie the rock to her rope and when she finally succeed she smiled showing him.

[cheezeegriff]

"Not bad again," Figgy said. "I doubt the antelope would fall for the same trick twice. Let's go find some other prey. Wilderbeest, maybe? Or even better: do you have any trees near watering holes nearby? We could get all kinds of things there."

[amberafridi]

" yes we do have trees near the watering holes nearby" Kira replied.

[cheezeegriff]

"Lead the way," Figgy said. "Don't forget your rope." He took a step, then grimaced. "It's not very far, is it?"

[amberafridi]

Kira shook her head and pulled the rope along with her as she started walking towards the waterhole near by " no it's not" she said.

[cheezeegriff]

Figgy followed, even slower than last time. Having most of an antelope in your paunch didn't make him a very fast walker. "So you were adopted by the pridelanders. That's nice of them. Who were your mother and father?"

Kira continued walking " Scar and Zira.." she answered slowing down once again for Figgy. (aw okay..)

[cheezeegriff]

"Huh," Figgy said. He wasn't from around here. He had heard the stories but forgotten some of the details. "Any brothers or sisters?"

[amberafridi]

" yeah.. Kovu Vitani and Nuka.." Kira replied and she stopped once they reached the waterhole.

[cheezeegriff]

"Are they here too? You must get along with them, right?" He pointed to a tree with a strong branch, indicating that Kira should throw the rock over that one.

[amberafridi]

((ok)) " yes they are.. and I only get along with kovu and Vitani" Kira said and she threw the rock over the tree that Figgy had indicated at.

((I'm going to be using my character Nyama))

Nyama continued to waddle along in the hot sun, the heat taking its toll on her, making her throat dry and her legs weaker than she wanted them to be. She had been walking for quite some time now, and wasn't really bothered about where she ended up, just as long as she wasn't forced to de anything.

Her mind wondered to and fro, her thoughts mostly just consisting of memories of the past.

She was lost in a deep train of thought when she looked up, the blinding sun still as bright as ever, but instead of seeing nothing but dust, she saw a tree. She stopped for a minute and took a deep breath in through her nose. She smelt many other lions, but also the scent of food. She couldn't just leave to opportunity, and decided to head towards the tree.

As she approached it she saw two other lions directly infront of her. Startled, she just stood there for a moment, eyes wide. The lions couldn't much older or younger than herself, but they looked much stronger and well fed than she did, so she took a submissive stance and said slowly "Uhm... I'm sorry to interrupt, but I was just wondering if you could help me. I've been walking for a long time and really need some food and water. I understand if you don't want to give me any help, just I don't want any trouble." then she quickly added, "I'm Nyama by the way."


She didnt like like having to deal with strangers this way, shed much rather just avoid them all together, but she did need there help.

Kira turned slowly and she saw another lioness she smiled " of course I'll glady give you food and water.. and my name is Kira" (it's alright and ok)

Nyama smiled faintly, and took another few paces forward. "Hello Kira," she did a small bow towards the ground before adding, "Thank you very much for your kindness." she was thankful, but she felt like a bit of a suck up saying that. She walked until she was beside them and then smiled at the pair of them.

((yeah..)) Kira smiled " np anything for a fellow lioness" she said happy to meet another lionesses that wasn't judging her.

She smiled, she was relieved to be receiving help. "What's out here then? I wasn't expecting to hit other lions for ages yet, so are you a pride? Or is it just you two??"
