History Of TLKGO
TLKGO started as a forum which was created by Adam, also known as "This Land" on 21st December 2005. It had been initially created just for fun with online friends over existing Lion King forums, but as time passed it started growing as more and more people joined the forum. Those people began posting, which steadily increased until eventually bringing about the creation of more RP's. Pulsar, Ravincal, Jenna, Safila and This Land, were the first of the RP'ers on the forum.
Another purpose in which TLKGO was created is because there were loads of forums about Lion King in general, however not many of The Lion King forums were completely dedicated to Role-playing TLK. So, the result was the creation of TLKGO. Over the time it has been active, it has slowly but surely grown in size and still is.TLKGO started out as a simple forum, but this soon changed due to the growing numbers of Members RP’ing. Slowly it had developed more organization in sections, more Boards and threads were created, new features appeared such as the "Unreal" RP's in which supernatural powers and happenings inhabit the RP. Also the creation of a Special Practice RP Section was carried out, A section in which new members that were new to RP'ing could practice and become more confident in their posts before heading into the more intense RP's
Unfortunately after 4 years and 8 months TLKGO forums were closed down (August 2010) for a while, this was due to alot of personal reasons between members. But now, almost 18 months after that (January 2012), This Land and one of his first Members (and moderator) Pulsar, had a good old chat about TLKGO, about all the good times we had and had missed. After much carefull thought, especially the delicateness of opening a closed forum, we decided to re-open the forum. Now It is not our intention to make this forum how it used to be, because we already know that is impossible, we are re-opening the forum because......we want to roleplay =P. We miss the good old times roleplaying on this site and im sure some of you past members will agree too .We are not going to have a massive party and grand opening because it isn't our intention to draw attention to ourselves. We are opening back up to have fun role-playing again back on good old TLKGO ^^. If you are completely new to TLKGO then please don't be put off joining in the fun, we warmly welcome new and old members alike ^^, just bare in mind that this is only a small community, if we do get bigger and more active again then we wont mind that, but we are just not making it our main aim. Our main aim is to have fun.
