Nuri huffed, "Pridelanders have too much, I prefer to ruf it on the edges." She said clawing the dirt a little as she walked. She noticef Wingu's behaviour and smirked a rumble ran through her body, "He won't hurt you. Too caught up in his mate. And if he threatens you He'll have All of us to answer too. And considering Akira's the scariest" She half chuckled at her own sarcasm, "We'll be fine." She snapped her jaws at the sky and laughed a little.

Kala and Mufasa soon caught up with them. "We made it back. Everyone, this is my husband, Mufasa. This is Wingu, Nuri, and Akira." Mufasa smiled politely. "Hello, it's nice to meet you all. Where are we going? Does anyone know?"

She overheard Nuri saying Akira was the 'scariest' sarcastically and chuckled, "Yeah! Me!". She let out a weak growl that had not yet been perfected. At this she laughed even more.
Kala and Mufasa had stated their return. Akira turned her head and looked at Mufasa unknowing of his appearance, "Hi there", she said blissfully. Then she turned to watch Nuri, another lion sure would not make her happy.. "I don't know where we're going, I just know we're leaving".

"Getting away from here." Nuri muttered with a snarl, "This land is thick with a cruel pride. Very agressive." She informed nonchallantly, "When we get away we are going to figure out everying there."
Huffing she added, "I, personally, think we should go to the outlands, as noone is going to challenge me there." She smirked, "Or any of you. They are A lot more polite than this pride."

"But outlands...Wasn't it the place where everything is dry?" Wingu asked and let out a little roar.

"It has its perks, and animals do live there. The...what is it?...Circle of Life just wroks differently there. It can sustain us until we figure out a proper plan." Nuri replied vaugely, of course other lions wouldn't understand the hospitality of the outlands! They were impossible.

Akira listened closely to everything Nuri had to say, but the outlands? She was never to go there. She had not heard good things about it, but she didn't really have a choice. She was too young to live on her own. As they proceeded she began to slow down and tire but she did not want to stop and become food for someone else; she must keep going with the others.
"How much longer will it take to get there? My paws hurt, and I'm tired. We can't keep traveling in this heat.." she had complained just as almost any cub would but she feared she was getting on the nerves of others and quickly shut up.

Nuri huffed and proceeded silently, there was water up ahead...good food though, "We are not in the outlands." She announced, "There is water up ahead, good enough to drink."

As they walked Kala noticed how tired Akira was getting, so she whispered in Mufasa's ear and he nodded. "Oh, yeah, good idea. Hey, Akira, you wanna ride on my back for a while? You're getting tired, I noticed." He smiled at the young cub, hoping she would accept. Kala said, "It's ok. He's not going to hurt you."

Nuri looked ahead and noticed the depression in the land again, they were near the water hole. Looking at the ground she smiled, the Outlands certainly had improved since the fire, grass shot up along the ground and some of the burnt trees had regrowth on it. One particular shoot was the one where the outlanders had attacked Simba, she glared at the healthy plant and continued her comfortable pace towards the waterhole.

Akira had begun to feel like a burden to Nuri. Her tail dragged on the ground as her mind thought of sadness. Her heart began to lurk with pain, adjusting to Nuri's attitude wasn't going to be easy. Akira had been so used to being loved, never hated or treated poorly.
Suddenly she heard Mufasa's gracious gesture, "Could I? I would love a ride!" She yelled with excitement. Her tail was flailing in the air again as she turned around as fast as lighting and jumped on his back. She did not know him, but she trusted Kala; therefor she trusted her mate. Her body sizzled with joy! "Thank you Mufasa!" she said cheerfully.

Wingu was slowly walking, behind everyone. His tail was making a line in the sand, and he was quite tired. The burning sun was making him tired. When he saw the waterhole, he used all of his power to run to it. He drank much, mcuh more than usual. Then he found shade and layed down there, alone. He was thinking about Moja and everyone else back in his pride.

Mufasa bent down so Akira could get up on his back and when they saw the waterhole, both lions went up to it and began to drink, Mufasa making sure Akira could get off his back safely, so she could drink, too. Mufasa noticed Wingu was off by himself and approached him. "Hey, Wingu, why don't you come join us?," he asked softly, not sure how Wingu was going to react.

Akira had jumped off Mufasa's back and began to drink the cool water, she swallowed it in gulps. The water had given the pleasure's of moisture back in her tongue and feeling in her throat. She watched Mufasa walk over to Wingu then went back to drinking. Suddenly an erg had come over her! She stared into the water deeply then jumped in where it was shallow. She began to splash around to cool her fur then began to laugh. Finally, it seemed as if she didn't have a care in the world! But when would this feeling fade?

Nuri stared at Akira in surprise. She remembered when she was once able to splash in the waterhole. But only once, Zira and the outlanders were very picky about the waterholes, being the only source of water.
She looked to the others, but they were busy drinking. Looking around the waterhole carefully, she looked down into the water, noone would notice? Would they?
Nuri launched herself into the water and attacked pepples that ran across the murky surface. Once she reached akira in the shallows she half smiled at the cub and batted water onto the cub. Not too much though. After this Nuri lay down in the shallows and relaxed.

Kala smiled and giggled at the other girls having fun. She thought, oh, what the heck, I'll have some fun, too and jumped in and began to play in the water, too, splashing gently at Akira and getting Nuri soaked a couple of times.
Meanwhile, Mufasa was still staring at Wingu, waiting for him to respond. He looked over and said, "Looks like the girls are having fun. I remember when I used to do that."

Nuri looked incredibly guilt the moment Kala began to Splash around in the waterhole. She let herself be soaked a few times before standing up and slamming he forepaws into the water, the effect was a huge splash, that covered Kala over pretty fast.
She chuckled, "You call them splashed Kala? That, was a splash." She grinned and pounced further into the water.

Akira was surprised that Nuri had jumped in but was extremely happy to know she wasn't just stone. She was splashed by Nuri and Kala at separate times and occasionally, the same time. Akira laughed and laughed as joy filled her thoughts and happiness filled her heart. She took one paw and swiped a wave of water onto Nuri, then took the other and swiped another wave of water onto Kala. "Got you both!" she yelled. She laughed even harder now than she did before. A smile had covered her face from ear to ear, as for the rest of her body, she was just soaked.

Nuri laughed, despite her inability to smile, her laugh was quite nice, rough from not being used, but it wasn;t in anyway eerie, "Oh that's it." She snarled happily, as she sent another wave of water onto Akira.

Kala smiled and did the same thing that Nuri had just done to her. "Gotcha right back, Nuri!," she yelled, then laughed. She was having way too much fun and it was evident by the big smile on her face.

She continued to laugh then ran out of the water... She had run away in the grass and disappeared.. Quickly she submerged from the grass that swayed around and jumped with all her might back into the water and splashed everything that was around. "Got you both with one splash!" she cheerfully yelled. Akira was having so much fun she forgot about not having her own parents there to have fun as well. The excitement overwhelmed her brain; She had not had this much fun in WEEKS!

Nuri chuckled and troted out of the water, shaking herself she lay down in the sun and put her head on her paws.
Flicking her ears she yawned and began to doze off, fun was tiring. She'd decided, and as good as it was, she didn't think she'd do anymore of it for a while.

Wingu stared a while at Mufasa, and then turned away. He was showing, that he's not goning to splash around.

Mufasa was confused, but said, "Well, ok, if you want to be that way, I'll just go see how the girls are doing. Suit yourself."
Kala got out and laid down a short distance away from Nuri. She was enjoying having Akira around, it was almost like Kira was back.

Nuri yawned and flexed her claws, standing up she flicker ears and wandered over to Wingu, "You seem, dicontent?" She ask somewhat vaguely and dismissively, making her trademark smirk smiled.

Akira had trotted out of the shallow waters and shaken herself off. The water drops had rippled off of her fur like bullets pelting thin air. As much fun as that was she began to grow tired. She watched as Nuri walked off to hold conversation with Wingu. Her attention tore away from Nuri as she searched for Kala. Finally she bad come into her vision; Akira walked over to her and laid down by her side.
"What will we do now?" She stretched her legs and curled her paws. She yawned with an open mouth wide enough to swallow the grand canyon; she rested her head on her front paws and curled her tail around her hind legs, tucking herself into a ball.

Mufasa walked over, joining them. Kala smiled at him, then answered Akira's question. "Well, Akira, I don't really know. Nuri seems to know a lot more about what we're doing than any of the rest of us, so I think we'll just let her decide," she said, ending her own sentence with a yawn and rolling over onto her side, letting her bleary eyes see Akira's and Mufasa's blurred forms before her eyes shut and she gave herself over to sleep.

Nuri sighed her impatience at the ever quiet Lion, normally she wasn't this compassionate, but she did feel sorry for Wingu, its not fair to be kicked out of a pride, "Are you Okay Wingu?" She asked quietly.

Kala's words had seemed like a blur to Akira as her eyelids got heavy and began to droop. After the amount of fun she just had in the cool water the sun almost seemed like a blanket warming her fur rather than a match setting dry grass on fire. She was perfect temperature now. She yawned once more and as seconds passed by the world beyond began to fade.. Akira had fallen asleep. Her breathes were shallow and faint; her stomach seemed to move with gentle repeating motions as would a night tide crawling upon a beach.

Mufasa gave a glance over at his sleeping wife and the cub, then walked over to Nuri and Wingu. "Hey, Nuri, thanks for agreeing to let me come along. I know it can't be easy to have a full-grown male lion and lioness hanging around with a bunch of younger ones like you all." He then whispered, "What's Wingu's problem? When I tried to talk to him earlier, he wouldn't even acknowledge me." He stood quietly, waiting for the other 2's answers.
