"It's just... ermm.... Nothing special..." He loooked at the happy 'family'. He had a feelng, that Akira will soon be in Mufasa's and Kala's family. He was thinkin about his cub days, and it was crushing him.

Nuri Gave a meaningful glance back to Mufasa to tell him to keep quiet, but nodded in thanks to what he said. The looked to wingu and back to the group, " Missing family perhaps" she judged carefully then smirked a little, "I've never had that problem."
Truthfully though, she missed never having one.

Amani waa crouched in the tall grass not far from the bank where they lay. He had been quietly watching them play happily. He used to love playing in water, it kinda reminded him of his old home. Athough he had mostly moved on since his new life seemed bright. It seemed so fun, but he didn't want to intrude.
Meanwhile, he was thirsty from running around, he built up the courage to come to the bank and take a drink. He wasn't far from their view, so he stayed cautious as he replenished his thirst in slow gulps. Besides, he was from the Pridelands now, and he had a hunch they were too.

Mufasa spotted the newcomer and quietly walked over to Kala and Akira standing close to them, in case the lion made any sudden moves.
Kala screamed and woke up. She barely heard Mufasa asking her if she was ok. She answered, "Yeah, babe, I'm fine. Just a nightmare. Who's that?," she asked, noticing the new lion.

Amani had not noticed Mufasa. As he finished drinking, he heard Kala's scream. He was frightened, and darted into the grass. After a few seconds, he peaked back out.
"Yeah, babe, I'm fine. Just a nightmare. Who's that?," Reassured, he answered, "My name is Amani. I'm kinda new around here. I live in the Pridelands with my mom Kora." He came from the grass and approached them a bit.

Nuri turned her attention to the newcomer and snarled, "What's a pridelander doing all the way out here in the outlands? Lost are we?" She jeered, "Any reason you couldn't go to one of your own waterholes, food is scarce here cub."
She appeared to have reverted back to her outland behavious and moved away from Wingu, she wasn't very good at conversation anyway, "Well. Explain yourself." She hissed with annoyance, looking at the cub angrily.
(By the way you wrote that Amani almost sounded older than a cub XD )

(Yaa, might have to work on that xD)
"uhhh....I might have gone too far..." Amani said as he backed a bit away from Nuri. Things didn't look as good as he thought. He didnt't know what to do--- to stay or run. Even if he ran, he's helpless. Amani was backed into a corner, fear was in his eyes.

Akira had risen to her feet and had backed up a few feet. She had never been too fond of strangers, but was he really dangerous? She didn't know but then she remembered something Nuri had told her, "Pridelander's around here are dangerous." But... He had fear in his eyes. How could he be what Nuri had explained them to be? Still, she did not trust this new lion. Akira was going to take Nuri's side.

Kala stood up next to her husband. She did not like the way Nuri was treating this new cub. Mufasa didn't like it, either. He snapped, "Nuri, stop it! Can't you see you're scaring him? What is wrong with you?"
Kala walked over to Akira. "What do you think? I think he just wandered off from his family. Look how scared he is."

Amani looked at them as they spoke. Without them he probably would have been done for. The last thing that went through his mind was "What are the Outlands?" As far as he thought, the Pridelands went on and on. Right now, he just wanted to go home. He could wonder about what these Outlands are another time. Still scared of Nuri, he went over by the other two lions, Kala and Mufasa.

( finally, I was waiting for Kala to come and save the day XD )
Nuri hissed her annoyance and slinked off, she could cope with one cub. But two, and one a pridelander, That was too much. She left within listening distance of the Group and Lay down under the shade, they'd have to help Wingu soon, and if Kala and Mufasa got caught up with looking after cubs, they would just have to know she wouldn't help. Glaring at the group she slowl closed her eyes and slept.

Wingu waked up, when it was midnight. He got up and wandered away from others. He had a nightmare, which could come true. He and Moja was fighting to the death. Wingu found his father, but he was not the type, that Wingu was expecting. And then Moja and Wingu fought for pride leader. And Wingu lost.
He didn'twant this to happen. The young lion looked at a old tree, that would soon fall. He concentrated all the anger, fear and everything else in one paw swing. A loud crack and a the old tree was down. And in pieces. Wingu was just sinting there.

Nuri muggily woke at the loud sound, though it was far away, Her hearing was one of her better senses and she stood quietly shaking her head. She noticed Mufasa, Kala and the Cubs not far away and she proceeded to slink off and investigate the noise, if it was an Outlander, maybe they could provide information.
Then again, the sound was like that of a tree. So she crepted slowly towards the sounds centerpoint, confused but curious.

Wingu was so angry, that he attacked the tree again. Parts of the old tree were flying around, and you could hear quiet growls. The lion completely lost contol in times like this. He jumped in the closest water hole and was just trashing everything up whit anger.

Mufasa noticed Nuri slink off and wondered, what is she up to? He followed her closely, being sure not to make too much noise and stopped when he saw Wingu and wondered what the heck had gotten into him. He approached Nuri and asked from behind her, "What's the matter with Wingu? He seems different, really angry. Should we try and stop him?"

Nuri turned quickly in surprise and actually swiped at Mufasa's muzzle, her claws cut the surface of his right side of his face before she noticed the lion asking the question. Feeling completely embarassed she released her unretractable claws from his muzzle and shivered before gaining her composure, he tail swooped low to the ground.
She quickly became snide again, "Don't you know you shouldn't sneak up of a Lioness? Go back to Kala, He's just frustrated that we've spend so much time doing nothing and being distracted by cubs!" She hissed, annoucing her frustration rather than his.

Wingu touched the scar on his nose. Right before leaving, Moja attacked him. He remembered the pain, and he just couldn't forget it. He wanted already to go back to sleep, but he saw Nuri. Wingu looked at her, but didn't say a thing. There was Mufasa too, but Wingu just walked by, not saying a word.

Mufasa held his paw up to him face, stopping the bleeding. He snapped, "I wasn't trying to sneak up on you, I was just following you. I'm a little worried about Wingu and why he's acting like this. And I don't really think it's because of the cubs. You've been very welcoming to us, unlike some lions I know!," he yelled sarcastically after Wingu.
Kala tried to talk to Amani. "Hi, I'm Kala and this is Akira. Are you lost, young one?"

Nuri huffed, "That's something you boys will have to fix on your own then won't it." she said more as a statement than a question, "She wan't sure she liked Mufasa much, and it erked her for him to be in her space, so she slunk off again and decided to head to one of her favourite places in the Outlands that was nearby. She'd stay there till morning and then come back.

Amani looked at Akira, then at Kala. Could he trust them after how Nuri treated him? He didn't know, but Kala seemed different, nicer. He answered softly, "Yea, lost. I went off on my own playing, then got here." He looked around, then turned back towards them. "I just...just couldn't find my way back." He looked down as he finished. "I'm lucky I found you all." he said with some hope, looking back up at them. He lay down where he was and stretched out for now, tired from walking.

Wingu looked back to Mufasa and said quietly back: -You know nothing,nothing!- And then he ran away, thinking, if he'll ever see any of them. He ran far away from Mufasa, far away from the Pridelander bunch. He now felt even more lonely. He won't be traveling whit Kala anymore. Nuri was the only lion he wanted to follow.

Mufasa walked back to Kala and the two cubs. She asked, "What happened to Nuri and Wingu?" "I have no idea, they just ran off into the sunset. I overheard this little guy say he wandered too far. Do you want me to see if I can get you home, little guy?"
Kala said, "Do you want us to come with you, hon?" "No, you and Akira just stay there in case the other 2 come back. If they don't come back in the morrning, we'll just go home. The other two seem more interested in helping themselves, than others , really." He nuzzled her gently. "I'll be back soon, love. Later, Akira."

Nuri sat upon a high rocklike shape, that was one of the old termite mounds the Outlanders used to recide in. The termites were long gone and anyone of that time was dead...perhaps besides Vitani. But the pridelanders irked her and she shook the thought away. Looking over the outlands, with its new growth and its history she sighed, She probably would go back to the group later, she hated moving in a group. It was so tedious. She prefered doing her own thing, rulling herself, and fighting others to prove herself. In her few years as a teen, she'd made quiet a name in the food chain in the outlands, because of her unparallelled speed. Maybe there were others who were faster, but she wouldn't know.
As she looked over the horizon, she saw a loin running off in the distant, Strange, lions don't run without a hunt. She thought.
Out of anger of mufasa more than anything else, she decided to follow the lion, running to catch up to it.

((OOC: Sorry I have been away, just it's a crazy time but I think things should be able to go back to normal now "Bye", Akira had replied to the strange cub. She didn't want to make the cub feel mistreated but from what she had learned, pridelanders were dangerous. She continued to think to herself, "Oh well, that cub is gone now.. I hope Mufasa will be okay. Akira had stood up and walked over to the waterhole, it had been hours sense she last had a drink and her throat was getting dry. She walked past the waterhole after drinking a few gulps, wandering further away from the group. She made sure she was in sight of Kala so she did not worry her. Akira looked up to the stars and began to speak to, who she believed were her parents, "Why did you leave me?" She sighed and lowered her head. Akira went still and remained quiet.

Wingu ran, ran away as far as he could. Right in to the sunset he ran. He was angry, frustrated and scared. He wanted to go and win Moja, but he knew he wasn't ready. He heard pawsteps behind him. He gained speed and then jumped, to turn around 180 degrees. It was Nuri behind him, so he let go the defence position. - What are you doing here? I thought you will stay whit them?-

Nuri came to a halt and panted, she coughed disdainfully, "With Cubs? And a Lion named Mufasa? Not on my life! I want the fun your having!" She said sharply, "Believe me!" She huffed, still regaining her breath.

"Then let's go. I want you to teach me how to fight properly. And maybe once, once there will be a pride stronger than the Pridelanders!" Wingu had an outlander grandmum, and she told what the pridelanders did. She was one of the lions that didn 't join the pridelanderss, so she told all the storie she could. He touxched his scar again. Now he remmebered, why Moja hit him. "That lion, Kovu. He was one of the outlanders, wasn't he. Now I know... Let's go, let's have some fun." He evily grinned.

As they walked, Mufasa asked Amani, "Aren't you glad you found us? Is your home somewhere near or is it farther away?"
Kala walked softly over to Akira and sat down next to her. "I know you miss your parents, honey, but you'll find them again. Or they'll come back. You have to have hope. As long as you have that, all is not lost," she said wisely, seeming to speak to the sky as well.
