"Nala, I think Scar's playing a game with me.. A mental game.. I'm not sure what, but he must be up to something.. We have to regroup up with the others.." He says as he leads you into the brush where both of them couldn't be seen and then smiles to the lioness. "But.. I'm glad that you're all right though.. Heh.. I swear, if any of tho-Ow!... *He flinched as he stepped onto the ground with his paw, hitting something sharp as small as a pebble onto his wound and biting his lower lip. "That's smarts..." Nala followed Fire into the bushes so they were hidden from any prying eyes, last thing they needed was to be dragged back to Zira and Scar. Stopping again as he spoke, Nala was surprised by what he said.
"We have to regroup up with the others,I'm not sure what, butScar must be up to something..
Not speaking for a moment the lioness, was in two minds. She would have liked to hang around and try and see how many follwers Scar had in tow, yet maybe Seleter needed them.
"So, you think its best we try and find Seleter, Charlie and the cubs, before any of them do ?
pausing, Nala looked over her shoulder, suddenly remembering.
"I think we should try and find Charlie and the others, as soon as possible.. but I feel sorry for that lion we left behind, the one who said he was Scar's son. Fire he helped me hold back and fight those feeble minded ones that were left to guard us, in a small way, we wouldn't be standing here right now if he hadn't appreared. I didn't see him when I escaped from the cave."
Nala stood there unsure of what to do, but then realised that the others needed their help more than one lion.
"ok, we need to move, if he can pick up our scent well then we might see him again, if not.."
Just about to turn away, she heard a small moan come from Fire, looking at him, she saw he was holding a paw wrapped in leaves he must have been injured in fighting Scar or when he lept from the cave.
"Fire you'll have to manage for a little while yet, we need to leave here as wuick as we can, then maybe when we can slow down, and find water, we'll clean your paw and see what damage has been done."

Kyto was put on a really high branch by Afya. Kyto began to wrap his tail around the branch and looked down at Afya. "If we can't go back to Pride Rock then how will I ever find my father Afya?" Kyto began to sulk and looked away from Afya. Kyto began to fall asleep and started dreaming.
Kyto drempt that he saw his father in the lions den on top of Pride Rock. His father told the hyena's "Kill him!" and the hyena's started running after Kyto. When Kyto got to the gorge his dad was there and slashed Kyto's face and left a cut going down from his eye to his muzzle.
Right then Kyto woke up and screamed and fell out of the branch into the mud right below the tree. Kyto was really sad and started running away he didn't know where he was going, but he just knew that he had to get away. Kyto began yelling out as he ran "MOM!!!! DAD!!!! Where are you I need help!" Kyto stopped and looked into the sky; all the stars were shining bright and Kyto thought he saw the face of a lion in the sky.
Kyto kept running he thought that might be the face of scar. What Kyto didn't know is that he was running towards Pride Rock. In the distance Kyto could see a male lion with a red mane and ran towards him. When Kyto got to the male lion all he said was "Dad, Dad, Dad." Kyto began to cry on the male lions shoulder.

Charlie lay there panting while at the same time his body broke out in ripples of tremors, that were running up and down his body. Moving his head slightly he slowly opened his eyes to look at Seleter, when a blinding flash hit his temples. Cringing he found himself trying to pull himself into a ball, his whole body just shook and a low moan escaped from his muzzle.
"Seleter... help me, I don't know what wrong....please help me"
Turning his head , he grimaced once again as he lookd over to where Remba was with the new lion, he felt ashamed, he should be looking after them, and here he was curled up like a new born cub.
About to call Remba over to him for protection, he stopped in time realising he wasn't sure what was wrong with him, but the last thing he wanted to do was pass anything uneccessary onto Remba.
With a sigh Charlies head dropped back heavily on the hard ground, and all he could manage was to stare at Seleter, his eyes begging for help.

Fire had been just rearing to go when all of a sudden. he felt this little fluffball at the side of his leg... and then the three letter word that he thought that he would never heard in his lifetime as a strong young male stud of a lion.
"Dad?..."
He immediately show his had down and focused his eyes on the cub that was at his feet, not even recognizing who this cub was or where it came from, as if it was a stone coming off a really steep hill and shooting out of nowhere. He leaned down to give the cub's head at the top a nuzzle and then nudges it slightly. "Hey there, little one.. I ain't your dad, ut I sure know that little ones like you ain't suppose to be alone... Here.."
He picked up the cub by the scruff of the neck with his teeth and then tossed him up onto his back and actually into the mane before walking up beside Nala with a curious look on his face. "Do you know this little dude?"

Nala had started to walk away when she heard a strange rustling noise behind her. Looking over her shoulder, her eyes flew open when she saw a small cub land at Fire's feet and watched as the male picked him up casually and placed him on his back with half the cubs body lying on his red mane.
But what suprised her even more was the word ' DAD'.
Looking from the cub to Fire and then back at the cub again, Nala wiped the smile off her muzzle and stared hard at the red maned lion.
"Something, you would like to tell me ....honey ?, something about who his father is and maybe his mother.. anything you think I should know..hmmmm?"

"Oh your not my dad do you know any other males who live here that might be my dad? Please my mom died and my mom told me that my dad lived in Pride Rock." Kyto began to tear up as he got down from the lions mane. "My moms name was Shaki and she died yesterday." Kyto began to cry heavily. "Maybe i should just find my dad on my own. I can't believe Afya lied to me!"
Kyto began padding away towards the lions den thinking that maybe his dad would be in there.

Afya looked up with a start when she saw Kyto fall out of the tree crying. She got to her feet and began racing after him. She looked up in the stars and saw a face. She stopped dead in her tracks.
"Scar" She whispered looking up at the stars. Suddenly she remembered she was chasing a cub and started after him again. She stopped in her tracks again when she saw a lion with a red mane. She also saw a lioness with him and she skidded to a halt.
She surveyed them through the bush she had nearly crashed into. The lion looked a little like she always imagined the son of Mufasa to be. However surely he was dead along with his dad. Or Scar would not rule. She looked at the lioness with her green eyes taking in all they could. She was a very pretty lioness. She saw the male seemed to be in pain and she noticed his paw.
"I thought only Scar lived in priderock" She whispered to herself. Deciding to sneak past and find Kyto she stepped around them slowly and then realised that she had began to walk up the slope of priderock. She hoped Zira wasn't anywhere nearby or she was done for. When she got close to the top she saw Scar there. She growled at him but carefully hid herself in the shadows. If she was going to find Kyto she would need to keep out of trouble. She began to walk away slowly. Hoping that Scar didn't see her. He would be sure to recognize her from the days that he had spent with her family.

Things had gone insane, or at least that much he could tell, the silly lioness had let let out a scream while Remba had been playing with his tail thus causing the little lion to dig her claws into said appendage out of shock. Twitching only in reply to the pain his ears flicked back but before he could say anything to little Remba that same silly lioness had run off somewhere.
Silently he turned his eyes down at Remba and shook his head a little before smiling "Hn... It's alright little one.... I've suffered worse then claws in my tail." he murmured gently, silently moving his large paw over to gently pet Remba in a reassuring manner. A few cuts in his tail he could handle... but something told him that things were just about to heat up and become worse.

Ranger just nodded silently at Nala's words. Then he just sat there in the middle of a circle of lionesses, staring them down, daring any of them to make a move. Soon, he heard the strange lion, (who he assumed was called Fire, that's what Nala had called him.,) and his father fighting.
Then he saw Fire running out of the cave and then go falling straight down a 4-foot fall. Oh, that's gotta hurt, he thought. then he saw Nala follow him and thought, I better follow her and see what's going on.
He turned to the lionesses and said,
"None of you move, understand? If I come back and see that someone has moved, they may just share the same fate thier little friend over there has," he said , nodding toward the other lioness, still knocked out.
Then he followed Nala until she met back up with Fire. Hidden just behind them, he watched as they interacted with the cub and everything. He smiled when he heard Nala talk about going back to get him. He cleared his throat softly and rose up out of the grass behind them.
"Hey, Nala. Hello, Fire."
(OOC: I know I've missed a lot while I haven't been able to get on the 'net, but this is the best I can do after reading the posts that apply to this part to the storyline. Feel free to correct me on something.)

Nala stood there, staring at Fire waiting for his response to her question, seemed he was slow in thinking up an answer for her.
Starting to turn away, she stopped when she heard the cub say about his mother dying, and then she saw teardrops run down his cheeks and drop onto the ground. Not sure what to say to the cub, she saw that he had now jumped off Fire's back and was heading away, back to Pride Rock it seemed.
' stupid cub, doesn't he know Scar and Zira are back there, they'd eat him for breakfast'
Reching out she grabbed his tail and pulled him back and placed him in front of Fire.
"He seemed to think you're his father, so you can take care of him while we make our way back to Seleter and the others,"
Giving the red maned lion a small grin, Nala turned away and was about to head back through the bushes, when she smelt a new scent, very close it seemed.
Baring her claws, she looked to her right where she could see some of the leaves shaking on the bush, not waiting to see who or what it was, Nala launched herself towards the bush, the same time as a lion emerged. Not being able to stop herself she hit him front on pushing him to the ground, and ended up standing over him growling as his words
"Hey, Nala. Hello, Fire." still hung in the air.

As Kyto was walking away he felt Nala dragging him by his tail. Nala set him in front of Fire and said that "Fire would take care of me." Kyto didn't want to be a burden so he politely said to Nala and Fire "No its ok my mom said my dad lived in Pride Rock so ill just walk inside the lions den and see if my dad's in there, but i don't know what he looks like."
Kyto began padding away towards the lions den again, but this time when he was at the steps of Pride Rock about 10 hyena's surrounded him. And by the looks on the hyena's faces he was gonna be the next meal.
Kyto didn't know what to do, he had no one to look after him and no one cared about him one bit. Kyto began to yell "Dad!!!Please come help me!!! Come find me!!!Help!!!" Kyto thought no one cared about him. With that the hyena's began to scratch and bite him.
Kyto screamed one last time "Help!!!"

After he had said that, he saw Nala jump on him and knock him to the ground, growling. He said,
"Woah, woah, Nala, it's ok. It's me, Ranger. I just followed you 2. Whatever you guys are wanting to do, I'd like to help. Better than being stuck babysitting a bunch of lionesses. Now could you please get off me?"
Suddenly he heard from far away the sound of a small cub, screaming, then said,
"Do you guys hear that?"

Afya's head snapped up as she heard Kyto scream for help.
"Stupid hyenas!" She roared, forgetting about Scar. She raced to wherever Kyto was and shot into the cave. She slammed into one Hyena, the sheer force of her putting on the brakes, sent him hurtling into the rocky wall. She growled and charged into the group again, this time causing them to step backwards.
"Kyto are you trying to get yourself killed? If you keep coming here you'll be Hyena chow! Or worse!" Afya yelled as two Hyenas attemped to pin her. She shot backwards as five of them charged at her. Quickly she ran in a circle round them and grabbed the scruff of Kyto's neck by a centimetre. She raced away from the Hyenas and suddenly found herself almost nose to nose with Scar. She dropped Kyto out of shock and then backed away from Scar. He had to have seen her. She had crashed into him. No longer able to deny the inevitable she crouched and looked up at him.

Kyto suddenly was grabbed by the scruff by Afya and she was dashing trying to escape but then she came nose to nose with a black maned lion with a scar on his left eye. Suddenly Kyto fell to the ground.
Kyto looked up at the black maned lion and said "Are you my dad?" Kyto couldn't help but to ask.

Zira laughed when the young lioness ran away with the cub. Her laugh was filled with mrith, but it in a twisted way. It sounded more like a devil's laugh than the one of a lioness'.
Hurt her? Was the young fool serious? A wide smirk played on her lips when the laughter subsided and she begun to follow the direction where the lioness had run. Speed... yes, the lioness could run away from her.. But she could not run forever, and her scent would be all over the place for the stripe headed queen to follow.
And so, with the smirk still on her lips, Zira begun to track.
"Seleter... help me, I don't know what wrong....please help me."
The golden cheetah turned to look at Charlie, her eyes wide with a mixture of fear and worry. She didn't know what was wrong with him, the only explanation she could think of was the blood loss, and the only way to survive that was to rest.
With him shaking like that though, she didn't know if he could.
In an instant she was beside the dark furred lion and laid down beside him. She trusted the king cheetah enough to keep Remba occupied for the time being so that she would be able to do what she could think of to help Charlie. Her long, fluffy tail curled around Charlie like a soft blanket as her front feet pulled him into a tight embrace.
"Shh", she hushed, trying to keep the panic out of her voice and sound calming.
"Don't speak, it'll save your energy and you really need to rest."
Seleter blinked her eyes, and suddenly buried her head in Charlie's mane. It was to assure him more she was there, but even more it was to hide the fearful expression that she didn't want the others present to see.
"Don't you dare to die on me, Charlie."
She failed to keep the trembling out of her voice when she whispered that. She held her friend as tightly as she dared, as if she was afraid he'd disappear completely if she let go.

Blood filled the air. A young lioness wandering the Pridelands could smell it and it was close. At first she thought it was blood from an antelope, but further scenting gave away the fact that only another predator was injured. The lioness stalked through the grass and peered through. She saw a cheetah comforting another animal and it was injured. Odd. I have never seen a cheetah act this way before, she thought. Suddenly the lioness caught a new scent, but the cheetah and her gang were downwind of the scent. The lioness's eyes widened. This new scent had the scent of revenge/kill in it.
The lioness dashed out of her hiding place panting, "You have to run or defend yourselves. Something is coming and I don't think it's friendly!" The lioness hoped she wasn't making a fool of herself. The lioness's name is Takinah.

Charlie lay there trembling, his eyes solely focused on Seleter leaning into him, then holding him close to her warm body.
"So..tired Leter...just want to sleep."
As he lay there in her embrace, his shaking started to subside, he felt like he had come home, that this was what he had been searching for all this time,, this closeness.
About to close his eyes and succumb to his tiredness, his injured paw started to jerk back and forth, all Charlie could feel was something chewing at the paw.
Moaning and starting to thrash about, he tried to hold onto the cheetah, he felt so save in her hold, if he was going to die, he was going to be held while it was happening, he couldn't let go.
Charlie had never felt so helpless in his life
"Some...thing... is eating... my ...foot... seleter, I can feel it, please for the love of god, pull it off me...please..."

Then after Kyto asked scar if he was his dad then he remembered what his mom had said "Kyto listen to me your father has a red mane, that of a king. He also has blonde fur like yours. remember that son." With that Kyto ran back to where he had met the red maned lion and the blonde lioness.
Kyto ran towards the red maned lion crying his eyes out. Kyto told the red maned lion "umm sir? can I tell you a secret but you have to promise not to tell anyone else. ok?"
After Kyto asked the red maned lion that he layed down by the lions side by his paws.

Afya watched as Kyto ran and snarled. Feeling angry at being abandoned.
"Gee thanks! You little runt" She growled quietly and looked up at Scar. She slowly stood her full size. She looked Scar in the eye and glowered.
"Surely you remember me? Afya the adolescent that could run beside a cheetah?" She said flexing her claws. Scar was not somebody she wanted to deal with right now.
"Thanks to your so called 'friendship' my dad killed my mother. Want to know the best part? You must have rubbed off on me because I killed him for it" She said, sarcasm dripping from her mouth. She could tell Scar the whole truth without scaring him. He was the one who turned her father against her family. All she wanted to do was sink her claws into his skinny body. To hear him howl in pain and cry out as he died. But if she tried to kill him she would die herself. Because she was far weaker than Scar.

Remba sat there with her head hung low, still not sure how the big cheetah would react, but a small sigh of relief passed through her lips when he gently patted her on her head, everything was going to be alright.
Hearing a loud moan ofpain Remba turned to look where Charlie was lying on the ground and his whole body was shaking and seleter was holding him tight.
Running over to them, she stopped and stood there watching ,the black lions back paws were jumping around on the ground by themselves and he was screaming for someone to help him.
Remba looked at seleter with tears running down her face, starting to sob loudly
"Don't let Charlie die, please Seleter... do something, I don't want Charlie to go away from us again."
Panicking the small cub turned towards Dagger who hadn't moved,
"Wy aren't you doing anything, help him ! "

Takinah grew angry that the group wasn't helping this Charlie. She came over and said, "I can help you move him. We need to get away anyway. I can sense something that seems like it doesn't belong." She turned to the cub and asked, "What is your name young one?" Takinah guessed that the cheetah was Seleter. The lioness found the female cheetah calming to her nerves and knew that she would possibly be a good friend.
Takinah hated being ignored and she would never ignore another animal in pain... unless it was food and she would kill it quickly. Otherwise she would just help the injured animal to safety and help try and fix it up so it can live.

Nala stood over the lion, her growling had stopped when she realised it was the one who kept saying he was Scars son. Stepping back paw by paw, until she was away from him, she didn't speak, but just watched him wearily.
'Why do you want to come with me and Fire ? I mean well.. you have our thanks for helping us escape from Scar and his croney followers, but... why aren't you back there, trying to get to know your father"
Nala couldn't help herself but give a snarl after saying that filthy name, "and how do we really know you aren't sent as a trap from him, letting us lead you back to the others in our group, so Scar and Zira can kill them and us as well, we seem to be a thorn in his side ."

Ranger shook his mane out before answering Nala's questions.
"First off," he replied, trying to keep his voice even, because he was a little annoyed that Nala would even suggest something like that,
"I'm not back there because I don't want to be. I have grown up under my father's reign, and before, so I saw firsthand many of the horrible things that he did and what he tried to turn me into. I can't go back there and let him turn me into a little "Scar clone" like he's tried to do all my life. I am not going to take it, Not anymore."
He paused for a moment, hoping she would believe that, then went on.
"Second, and frankly, I'm a little annoyed that you'd even suggest this, no this is not some kind of trap. I really want to help you guys, like I've said only a million times. Now you two can either let me help you or I can go off on my own. I don't mind either way. It's up to you two."
He then sat back, looking from one to the other, hoping that they would let him join them.
(OOC: That's the best explanation I can come up with based on his history.)

While Kyto waited for an answer from Fire he walked a few steps away and said to himself
"If i had gotten here sooner i bet i could have saved my dad from scar's clutches. Its all my fault and its always been my fault. Scars gonna kill me to if i don't get out of here fast and sneaky.
Kyto began padding towards the west thinking that Fire was ignoring him. Kyto walked with the heavy shame he had for leaving Afya behind. "She doesn't need me I just cause trouble." When Kyto got about 50 yards away from where he left Fire. He could hear the roars of the lions. The lioness's were about to start their hunt.
"I gotta get out of here fast of ill be the next meal!" Kyto began sprinting as fast as he could till he got to a water fall. Kyto saw the rocks hanging out of the water fall like steps so he started jumping down them 1 by 1. Then when he got to the bottom and jumped into the water, he hit one of the jagged rocks at the bottom. Leaving a deep cut in his left shoulder. Kyto screamed so loud he knew the lioness at Pride Rock would be able to hear him.
Kyto layed down under a tree and began to go to sleep.

(OOC: Just so you guys know I am incredibly impatient. But I can wait, so Afya will be having another flashback in this scene it's the only thing I can think for her to do)
As Afya waited for Scars response she heard the most dreadful scream ever. She cringed and then realized it was Kyto's.
"Serves him right. Imagine going off without somebody to look after you, whilst you're just a cub!" Afya fumed and then looked at Scar again. His body looked as thin as ever and she did her best impression of his sneer.
"I met your lovely mate Zira. I can see why you two were made for each other. She's just like, perhaps even worser than, you" Afya said, smiling sweetly. As she closed her eyes she groaned, Feeling that flashback feeling one gets when they blink.
"Come on Afya!" Called the cheetah cub in front of her. Afya smiled and ran after her best friend. The two adolescents were heading out to play.
"Hold on I need a second" Afya called. Suddenly a brown lion with a black mane leaped in front of them. He snarled at Afya and she shook. Her friend walked up to them.
"Don't play with cheetahs Afya. Your father would be annoyed" He said in a chilling voice. He reached out and struck Afya's friend. Afya turned away and looked back to see her friend staggering away. Now as Afya looked at Scar. She felt as helpless as the day that had occurred. So she did the only thing she could do. She let out a blood curling scream to attract attention.

She frowned.

She stopped in the middle of what she was saying. She saw nothing there, only the wound.
"Don't let Charlie die, please Seleter... do something, I don't want Charlie to go away from us again."
She blinked and turned to look at the cub. And she realized she had to calm Remba as well as Charlie. So she smiled at the cub, one of those calming, motherly smiles she seemed to be giving more often as of recent.
Considering her situation though, it shouldn't be such a surprise.
"Charlie will be all right, Remba."
Her words came as a calming flow.
"He'll be all right."
"I can help you move him. We need to get away anyway. I can sense something that seems like it doesn't belong."
Seleter's eyes flashed and with an angry hiss she turned to face the newcomer. Her fangs were bared as she rose to her feet, making sure not to hurt her lion friend as she did so.
"And who exactly do you think you are...?"
She stepped forward, pulling Remba away from the newcomer's reach, placing her next to Charlie.
"I don't care if it was Zira, Scar or the Devil himself", she hissed with a low voice, "but we are not moving from this place until I know for sure it will do no more damage to him."
And then she quite rudely turned her back at the newcomer and returned to her previous place beside Charlie. She shot a glare at the newcomer before she allowed her anger to melt away and be replaced by the calm once again.
The golden cheetah reached with her other paw to touch Charlie's wounded paw, not touching the wound itself though.
"There..." she whispered to the dark lion, as if she hadn't been interrupted at all. "It's gone now, there's nothing eating your wound anymore."
She hugged him tightly for a moment to assure everything was fine.
"I chased it away."

Kikome had laid down with Sukari now for a while, comforting her as she still continued to be in shock. Also thinking about the others.
Why did he just leave Remba? He did not know why he did, he could only pin point it down to a matter of priority. Remba was a friend, and Sukari was his daughter who was in shock, and in such a rush decision that you could only rescue one, who would you go for?
Kikome continued to nuzzle Sukari and licked her gently.
"Sukari, it’s ok, you are safe......don't be scared of these memories, Memories are a way of holding on to the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose.”
Kikome nuzzled her and kept his head over her to keep her warm.
"Not a day has gone by Sukari without me getting up before the sun rises and lying down ages after the sun set's, looking for you. I never given up hope finding you, I never thought once of being beaten by time, hunger, weakness, or tiredness” Kikome said upset
"I have finally found you, all you need to do is find yourself....let your mind understand your memories.....Memories help you hold onto the things you love....the things you are.....the things you never want to lose. I love you Sukari, I never want you to change who you are.....I never want to lose you.
There was then silence for a moment, then after a while the shaking of Sukari that Kikome could feel between his paws, slowly died down. Her breathing shallowed back to normal and Kikome could feel his paws dampen. Kikome lifted his head to see Sukari's eyes wide open and her cheeks soaked with tears.
Sukari's side of her mouth twitched a couple of times before then turning into a little smile.
"You’re........"
Sukari swallowed and blinked her eyes a couple of times to wash the remaining tear
"Your right daddy.....I cannot be scared of the whole flood of memories that I have now re-collected, they were part of my life and who I am, which I never want to lose again....I never want to ever forget my Love for my father"
Kikome smiled widely and nuzzled his daughter, in which she nuzzled back. This resulted in them both Purring together...making a harmonic tune of love, happiness and joy.....that hasn't been made between them both....for over several seasons, of them being apart.
Kikome lifted his head and looked at Sukari
"We best go to the others" he questioned and then smiled in a attempt to cover the nervous time ahead as he will properly have to do some explaining to the group for why he left Remba
Sukari smiled back and nodded
"Sure thing daddy, but you don’t mind if I ride? I’m kind of getting tired after all what's happened today" she giggled slightly
"Certainly" Kikome chuckled
With that, Sukari climbed onto Kikome's back and he walked outside, he took a few sniffs on the ground to backtrack his steps to where he had come from. The best way to try and find the group.
As Kikome was walking, Sukari sat down but with her head as high in the air as her neck would let her go, with a big smile on her face, sniffing all the scents from around her. Taking in the breeze and all the lovely surrounding sounds. She then stood up and walked up to Kikome's Mane and lay on her side, all cuddled up in his warm cosy mane, still with a big smile.
Sukari has started acting like a cub again, her broken and forgotten past memories had been restored. She now started to feel like that little cub she used to be before she got separated from Her Mum and Dad.
One half of the Harmonic tune started to play once more, and then the other half followed.

Through his pain filled haze, gentle words came to him, soothing and calming his panic, while another shiver ran through and over Charlie's body.
"There..." she whispered to the dark lion, it's gone now, there's nothing eating your wound anymore."
her touch, I can feel her, she's taken it away...she's made it stop..she's with me, Seleters with me
Gasping, he tried to lift his head and move his body, when he heard another male voice, but all he could manage was to bring a paw up and hold the small cheetah more tightly in his embrace, pressing her more against his body.
" safe..thankyou..thankyou for caring.."
Charlie lay there, sweat that had been slowly running down his muzzle, was now drying on his skin, and the tremors that had racked his frame were subsiding, his breathing returning to normal. He didn't know if he could move, he wasn't even going to try, all he wanted was what he had there and then, that warm caring body that was pressed against him, and for now, no one was taking that feeling away from him.

Scar was just listening to the lioness before him, trying to make sense of exactly what the cub before had said to him and thusly, ignoring the lioness who had a stern look on her face. His expression seemed almost lost and disconcerned with what the lioness had been saying catching only phrases like "mother" and "father" and "killed".. Meh.. Nothing he hadn't heard before. But, certainly, even the most deaf of lions could have heard that scream that was so close to his ears, grunting and putting a finger into his ear to try and drown it out. "Ouch! Blasted lioness.. Hmmph, women.." He says with a chuckle and then walked over to the lioness, staring down at her with a perked eyebrow. "Tsk tsk tsk.. Naughty girl for screaming like that.. Could burst an eardrum.. And do not fret the death of your parents. All of us must die some day.. Your parents time was.. unfortunately.. faster than expected.. So do not worry or care so much about it, little one. The circle of life has its plans..

The red-maned lion was mixed in what was going on, there seeming to be too much at once for him to comphrehend and he just let out a "merf" and looked over to Nala with a confused expression, finding it weird that the cub would go off on his own.
