Adolescent Ages

[Kirsui]

The sun shined warmly, made a cub cheetah feel great. Her mom had just hunted and Seleter and her brothers had eaten well before a lonely leopard had stolen the prey.
Then they heard something. Seleter saw a pack of wildbreest runing to a canyon.
"What's this?" she said quietly. Then she saw a lion running to the canyon with another lion.
"Look mom!" she said excited. "It's king Mufasa!"

After some time the noise of the running wildbreest stopped. And soon after that the other lion came out of the canyon, alone. But soon after him there came a pack of hyenas!
"What is this!" she said then a bit louder. She regognized the lion, it was Scar, Mufasas brother. But why was he with all of those hyenas?

Seleter's mom decited to move along with her cubs. The sun had shined warmly, now dark clouds covered the sky. Seleter felt rain was coming.
"Somethin's wrong..." she thought.
And she had been right. King Mufasa and young prince Simba had died. Now the ruler was Scar, who had given power for the hyenas, allowing them to live in Pridelands.

Now some time had passed, Seleter had left her mom. She had learned to hunt but her future in Pridelands didn't seem very shure. It was dry, the animals cheetahs usually hunt had almost vanished. There wasn't much food and the hyenas were everywhere.
And all of this because of Scar, Seleter thought and gave an angry look for the Pride Rock.
Thing weren't going well, not at all...

[This Land]

A little cub was running around the grass area, all upset and lost, she stopped running and stood still, she then slumped down onto the grass and curled up into a Ball.......Crying.

[Kirsui]

Seleter heard crying. She looked around and saw a little lion cub. She slowly aproached the cub.
"Erm" she said, not shure what to say.
"Um, are you all right?"
What a stupid question! The cub obviously wasn't all right!
"I mean..." she said and layed down near the cub.
"I'm Seleter" she said and smiled friendly.
"What's you'r name?"

[This Land]

The cub jumped by shock and ran through the grass and hid behind a rock and Poked its head out from behind it. She was shaking, she didnt know who this stranger was

[Kirsui]

Seleter saw the cub run behind a rock.
"Aww, don't be afraid!" she said and smiled softly.
"I won't hurt you. I just want to help you, that's all."
She carefully walked to the cub, layed down and act as friendly as she could. She really didn't want to harm this cub. She was so little, so afraid!
Seleter nuzzled the cub genlty. And then she layed her head to ground. It hadn't been very long when she had been a cub herself. And she remembered the times she faced other big cats. It had been terrifying!
"Could we be friends?" she asked the cub, smiling that friendly smile of hers.

[This Land]

The cub didnt speak, she couldnt speak, she was terrified. She kept on shaking, trying to shake the fear away, A tear came out of her eye, she managed to sit down and look the the Lioness

[Kirsui]

The cub was terrifyed. Seleter didn't know what to say. It was so horrible to wath that small cub shaking in front of her.
"Why are you afraid?" Seleter asked the cub. She felt so sorry for her! Gently the gold furred cheetah whiped the tear of from the cubs face.
"Don't be so sad" she whispered and looked at the cub very gently, smiling all the time so that the cub would see she didn't want to harm her.
"Just tell me why you are so afraid and I'll try to help you."

[This Land]

Sukari stopped trembling, this lion was the only lion she could trust.

She ran and dived between seleter's legs and lay down between them, she rest her head on the side of one one seleter's legs

[Kirsui]

Seleter smiled softly when the cub layed her head on her leg. The cheetah gently gave her a lick.
"There, are you all right now?" she asked. Seleter wanted to know why this little cub was so scared. What had happened to her?

[This Land]

The cub looked up and Smiled Slightly at The Cheetah and nodded at her.
She knew now this Cheetah meant no harm to her.
"Wha......Whats your name" she struggled to say

She moved out slighty from The Cheetah and sat down and faced her

[Kirsui]

"I'm called Seleter" she replied to the little cub. "But you may call me Seleta if you want."
"And what should I call you, little one?" Seleter asked the cub.

[This Land]

Sukari's Shaken bosy started to ease down
"N nice name" she said gently
"My name is Sukari"
"you are really nice, ive never met anybody so caring"

[Kirsui]

"Oh?" Seleter said and looked the cub surprised. The cub was so cute and very nice. How Sukari hadn't met anyone who could care about her.
When Seleter finally saw Sukari to stop shaking she decited to ask the question that might be the answer to her thoughts.
"Where are you coming from? Are you lost or...?" she said and kept smiling. She wanted to help this little lion as much as possible.

[This Land]

"Im......just........Just lost, ive been lost for a couple of seasons now"
"Many Lions i have passed have just ignored me and though nothing of me, they where concentrating on their cubs"
"And not so long ago a Lion chased after me, i think he wanted to kill me, and Hyena's chased after me, they almost got me but i got away"

Sukari shown Seleta her cut rear leg that was slightly bleeding

[Kirsui]

"Oh, my..." Seleter whispered. Now she understood. Sukari had met Scar and his hyenas.
"Let's go, we'll need to clean that wound."
She gently picked Sukari up and started walking a river nearby. She cept closely eye on the area around her, incase some hyenas would show up.
Then they reached the river and Seleter gently layed the cyb down.
"Put it to water for some time" she said and smiled. Then she continued to guard the areas.

[This Land]

Sukari gave the biggest Smile to Seleter
"Thanks" she said Gently
Sukari walked into the river and started to wass her cut , after some time she tripped over a rock in the river bed and she dunked into the water head first. she stood up agaion the river and walked out soaking wet and smiled at Seleter

(Sorry i haven't posted yet guys... i've been busy...)

Nala was walking along a clifftop, she looked up at the cloudy grey sky. She missed Simba. She wished he wasn't dead. Nala sighed and walked along the top of the cliff, looking down for any possible sight of food,which is what she was meant to be doing. She then saw two animals.
One of them was a cheetah... and the other one was a little cub. She'd never seen this cub before.
Nala ran down a rocky path on the side of the cliff and ran over to them.
'' Uh... hi guys... are you from around here?'' She said excited.. she'd finally found someone new... and if they came from another place.... maybe in that place there was food. Nala hadn't eatin in a while now.
''Oh... and i'm Nala.'' She said and smiled.

[Kirsui]

Seleter was spooked. She jumped up and stood between this new lioness and Sukari. The lioness, Nala if she had heard right, had come surprisingly quietly.
Nala was smiled in a friendly way, but Seleter wasn't shure how to reackt. If the lioness would attack she normally would have fled. But Seleter couldn't leave Sukari alone!
"Um, I'm Seleter" she said and kept her light purple eyes on Nala. She layed her flyffy tail near Sukari as a sign 'you are not alone'.
"And this little one is Sukari" she said to Nala. "And I've leaved here all my life."
Then she looked better at Nala. The lioness looked like she hadn't eaten for a while.
"I quess you're hunting, right? It seems that all of the food has almost vanished. I haven't eaten for a couple of days, I quess. And if I'd managed to get something..."
Again she gave an angry look far Pride Rock. Last time she had had food the hyenas had come and stealed the little gazelle she had been eating.
"Well, someone just would steal my prey."

[This Land]

Sukari clinged onto seleters tail and started to shiver
"who, who is she......What does she want"
Sukari became very scared now of new lions, she couldnt trust them if whe knew they meant no danger

[Deleted]

''Oh.. okay i've never seen you around before.. yes i am hunting... there is no food.. Scar gives everything we find to the hyenas... only gives us the scraps so that we can survive so we can find more food for him to survive.''
She looked at Sukari. Nala walked over to her and looked down at her.
''Hey there Sukari... I'm Nala...''
She looked back at Seleter.
''She obiously isn't your daghter or sister.... where'd you find her?''
She smiled at the cub, who looked terrified of her.

[This Land]

Sukari hid around Seleter and popped her head up
"i found her i think" she said gently
"I got chased by a Lion and some hyena's not so long ago"

[Deleted]

''Scar....'' She whispered to herself with horror.'' And her targets yet another cub.'' She continued whispering to herself.''
She looked at the little cub.
'' Are you lost then?'' She said still in shock that she has been mistreated by scar.

[This Land]

Sukari stepped out from behind Seleter
"The lion and hyena's split me and my mum from my Dad" a tear came out from her eye
"My mum then got killed by hyena's while trying to protect me, i havent heard from my dad ever since, all i heard was a lion shouting that he cannot return"
Sukari started to sob and walked over and rest her head on the side of Seleter's belly

[Kirsui]

So they've been exiled then, Seleter thought and gave a smal nuzzle for Sukari.
"You'll be fine, I promise" she said for comfort. Then she looked around, there were still no sign of hyenas. That was a good sign. Then she looked at Sukari. Seleter knew that she couldn't take care of that little cub. Sukari was a lion, for one thing and she needed to be raised by lions. Then she looked at Nala.
She looks like the same age as I am, Seleter thought. A little smile came to her face, she thought her childhood and how peaceful it had been. And then came Scar...
"Why is he everywhere?" she whispered to herself. "Why everything must end up to him?"

[This Land]

Sukari looked up at seleter and tilted her head
"Whats the matter Seleta" she said concered
Sukari rubbed on seleters body and purred
She turned and faced Nala, she smiled and nodded gently to Nala
"Thankyou, you two for helping me"

[Kirsui]

Seleter smiled to Sukari. How cute that little cub was!
Then she quickly turned her head to another direction. She turned her ears, listened. Her body moved slightly - a natural movement for a cheetah who's aware of something.
Seleter had heard something. Or someone.
She had heard paws slightly hit the ground. Now she kept her light purple eyes on the direction the voice had come from.
"We are not alone" she whispered to the lions.
Someone was coming thowards them.
Seleter prepared to jump and pick Sukari up if that someone would attack.

[This Land]

Sukari shivered again and ran underneath Seleter
"oh no .....please not again" she said as she trembloed underneath seleter
"who is it"

[Deleted]

Nala stood back next to Seleta and Sukari. She looked around and saw a brownish blackish shadow.

Pizeera stepped out from behind a rock and saw a lioness, a cub and a cheetah, all staring at him.
He rubbed his head.
''Uh... hi??'' He said looking at them... he walked closer.
''You guys know where I am??'' He asked cautiously as they were still all staring at him.

Nala walked forward.
''You're not from around here then... yes... This is my home... The pride lands.. and that's pride rock.''

Nala looked towards the big rock.. it used to look so beautiful but now that Scar had taken over it just turned into a big grey area with no plants what so ever and no food.

''Oh... ok... I'm Pizeera...'' He said and bowed.

''I'm Nala..'' Nala smiled at him. She turned around and smiled at Seleter and Sukari, telling them it was ok, he wouldn't hurt them.

[Kirsui]

What a relief, Seleter thought. It wasn't a hyena! Instead, it was a male lion, who definitely wasn't a pridelander.
Seleter smiled a bit, just to tell she was fine. Then she gave a little lick for Sukari.
"It's OK" she whispered to the little cub. "He's not gonna hurt you."
Then she lifted her head and looked to the new lion.
"I'm Seleter" she said and looked to the lion with her light purple eyes.
"And this is Sukari."

[This Land]

Sukari popped her head out and seen a Lion
"Err.......Hi there" she said struggling
She slowly walked out from unerneath Seleter and gave a smile to the New Lion, as the lions so far she had met except the one who chased her are really nice, her fear of meeting them started to tremble away.
"does anybosy have any idea, who chased me" s he said curiously
