Nala stood there amazed as another lion walked up behind Scar's cronies, and announced he was Scars son. Not knowing whether to laugh out loud, Nala just raised her eyebrows and looked him over,seeing that in some ways he did look like his so called father, just with not so may scars.

feel sorry for him really, fancy announcing to everyone that he belongs to Scar, should have kept his mouth shut

Nala turned away from the lion, when she heard Fire cry out in pain and turned towards where Scar was dragging him back further into the cave. "FIRE... fight him, don't let him do this to you, FIRE"

The lioness, moved to go after them, when one of the ugly ones moved in front of her blocking her way. "Get out of the way NOW before you really annoy me"

Not giving her any leeway, Nala launched herself straight at the older lioness sinking her teeth into old and sagging skin, while her claws came up to grab her around the neck. Pushing her hard onto the ground, Nala stood over her. Spitting the fur out of her mouth, her eyes flashing.
Do you want to run or do I finish this off right now ?"

Looking up at scars son standig there " WELL you just going to stand and watch !"

Ranger started in to help the strange lion, but another lioness blocked his way.
"Move," he growled out. The lioness just stood there. With one powerful swipe of his paw, he knocked the lioness to the side, knocking her out in the process.
"Anybody else wanna get in my way?!," he roared, and then turned to Nala.
"To answer your question, no. I'm helping, as you can see."

[This Land]

Sukari and Kikome both lay there, hugging up to each other, just enjoying one anothers company. Kikome couldn’t stop his eyes watering slightly still, and when he blinked to get rid of the tears, they just came back again. Kikome was just so happy to have his daughter back, Body...and now mind.

Sukari seemed to of fell asleep while snuggling up to his cosy mane, which just made Kikome's smile widen more. But when Kikome put his paws over the side of her little body, he felt that her breathing was not normal...it was quick and sharp.

Kikome feared what was happening, and when Sukari's little body started to shake badly.....he knew it was true.

Regaining one's memory all of a sudden, especially how quickly Sukari had, it can start to cause great surprise on the mind when the information that has been remembered starts to sink in. In simpler words, Sukari was now in a state of shock, her little mind is finding it difficult to understand all this information she has remembered as it starts to slowly sink in. A bit like when a near death experience has happened, at first you feel scared, in fear etc, then moments later, your mind just starts to realise what has happened and you can go into shock.

Kikome turned his head and started to slowly lick Sukari head and stroked her lightly. Her response was just a whimper and her eyes shutting tighter.

"I need to get to a calmer place" He thought to himself

Kikome stood up and then lowered his head
"Just take deep breaths...Sukari, everything will be fine” he whispered gently

Kikome took a few sniffs of air and then looked towards Remba and smiled
"Seleter will be here very soon, she is very close, but I need to go very quick. Sukari isn’t well"
With that Kikome nuzzled Remba, picked up Sukari in his mouth and then sprinted off.

Kikome took many sniffs of air during his short sprint and soon came across Seleter
He quickly but carful placed Sukari on the ground and then looked up at Seleter
"Seleter, ill met you back at the hollow tree, Sukari is in shock and she needs to be in a calm place......."
Kikome looked down at Sukari who was still shaking like a leaf and then Kikome looked back up, with tears in his eyes.
"I almost died back there......Remba and Sukari saved me, and during that....Sukari's memory has been regained....she remembers me now.....as Dad” Kikome said emotionally
Kikome gave his head a slight shake to snap out what he was saying and get back to the main point of Sukari not being well.
"Remba, is just a few sprints from where I came, you will see her, but be very careful of the vines...please take extra caution” he warned
"Ill meet you back at the tree"

Before Seleter had time to reply, Kikome had picked up Sukari again and headed back to the hollow tree.

After many moments of running, they both finally got back. Kikome Darted into the hollow tree and picked out a place inside to lay Sukari down, in which he did. He Laid down beside her and wrapped his paws around her to keep her warm and cosy, slightly purring to sooth her shock while her head was lying on his chest

After a few moments, Sukari's breathing had got slightly better and her eyes started to open, but she was still in pretty bad shape.
"Do not worry at all my little Sukari, just take deep breaths and listen to my heartbeat, concentrate on the beats......count them....and when you get to our number....you will feel better....promise" Kikome said softly.

With that, Kikome lay there, with Sukari snuggled up to him, he rest his head as close as he could get it to Sukari and started purring gently.
"You will be fine....My little one” Kikome said very soft.
"We are Home"

Seleter walked slowly due to the fact she was making her pace fit with Charlie's. She was worried of the dark lion's paw, because the heavy scent of blood was flooding over the area. If not taken care of soon, it would sure attract some unwanted attention...

It was then when she suddenly was forced to stop. With wide eyes she stared at Kikome who had appeared out of nowhere in front of her, and with a wide smile she watched Sukari. So the cub remembered now...

Kikome sprinted off, and suddenly worry over the other cub flooded into her mind. The golden cheetah flattened her ears.
"Lets go", she said to Charlie. "We got to get Remba..."
'In the name of...' she thought. 'Why did Kikome leave Remba ALONE?!'

It didn't take long to reach the place where Remba still was. She saw the vines, realizing how deadly it must have been to get tangled up in them. She smiled at the cub.
"Come here, Remba", Seleter said.
"I found Charlie, but his paw is a bit hurt, so we got to get it cleaned up with fresh water."

Remba was standing there lost and confused, why did Kikome take Sukari away, but leave me here all on my own, I helped save him in the vines, I was brave, but he doesn't want me, just Suki.

Lowering herself down the cub didn't know what to do, she wasn't allowed with Kikome now, and Charlie and Seleter had gone away as well. Hearing a noise ahead of her, Remba closed her eyes shut quickly and rolled up in a little ball, waiting to see if she was going to be eaten.

Her ears twitched and she held her breath, but instead of feeling teeth bite her, she heard Seleters voice. Moving her head and opening one eye, she looked up and saw her and Charlie standing there, not knowing what else to do, she burst into tears.

[Dakota]

Charlie was hobbling along beside Seleter, trying his hardest to keep up with her without letting her know how much pain he was in. Looking back along the dusty track, he realised how much blood he was actually leaving behind.
oh great, come on charlie, just yell out to Scar 'here I am'.

Suddenly Seleter raced ahead to where a huge tangle of vines were hanging from several trees all intertwined. Getting closer behind her at last, Charlies temper rose quickly as he saw the cub all by herself and obviously greatly upset.

"In heavens name, where's Kikome and Sukari.. he said he wouldn't leave Remba by herself, he would protect her, and what does he do, when our backs are turned...he leaves. I knew I shouldn;t have trusted him..damn him."

Afya raced through the jungle her mind was a blur. She had been running for a long time, perhaps a whole day. Most lions would have collapsed by now but Afya was lighter than the other lionesses. Her long thin tail twitched as she stopped. She sniffed the air and leaned down to check her light creamy fur for scratches. No she wasn’t bleeding. So who was? Her sharp green eyes darted across the ground. Her short ears listened for sound. Then she spotted something, very light claw marks, then she sniffed again and discovered a trail of blood quite close to the tracks.

“What in the world?” She whispered to herself she followed the trail, another pair of pawprints joined it. Eventually she heard sobbing and crouched behind a bush. She looked up, a lion and a cheetah were standing by some vines, they weren’t sobbing. She pondered this for a second. Surely this could only mean they were concealing a cub? She stepped forwards trying to make no sound however her paw connected with half a dozen twigs and she took a sharp intake of breath she looked at the two.

“Um, hi” She said, would they shun her? Or would they greet her. Being naturally optimistic she hoped for the latter.

"In heavens name, where's Kikome and Sukari.. he said he wouldn't leave Remba by herself, he would protect her, and what does he do, when our backs are turned...he leaves. I knew I shouldn;t have trusted him..damn him."


Seleter understood Charlie's outburst, but her attention was more on Remba. Her ears twiched and flattened momentarily when she saw the cub begin to cry, and her instincts took over her actions. She went to the cub, lowering herself down and grasping her into a tight, comforting hold.
"Shh, sweety", she murmured softly.
"Everything will be all right... I'm here now, Charlie is here now, you're not alone anymore."

A twig snapped and in an instant Seleter was on her feet, her fangs bared in a hiss as she settled to stand upon Remba to cover the cub from the intruder. What she was faced with was a lightly built lioness, someone who the cheetah instantly saw to be a good runner. Her light purple eyes narrowed as she examined this lioness who had turned up from out of nowhere. She had snuk up on them from behind, until she had stepped on that twig.

“Um, hi.”

The golden cheetah stopped hissing, but she remained protectively above Remba, her gaze locked on the intrduder. She had no idea who this lioness was, but she couldn't let her looks decieve her from a possible threat. If this girl was one of Scar's - or Zira's - scouts...
"Who are you?"
Her voice wasn't threatening, yet it wasn't as friendly as it would have been had she been in her normal state of mind. The event of her confiding to Charlie was still too fresh and her normal emotions were pushed aside.

The golden cheetah bared her fangs and Afya nearly shot backwards. However she didn't pounce and if a cub was here then Afya could understand.

"My name is Afya. I'm sorry to intrude. I didn't mean to upset you. I was just going to creep past you." Afya said submissively to show she couldn't harm anyone.

"I'm sorry. I've had a rough time of it recently. So who are you? I don't normally encounter cheetahs hanging out with lions in the jungle" Afya said trying to maintain a friendly posture. After all she wasn't a very good fighter, and she was still an adolescent. She hoped she hadn't annoyed the cheetah. Then she remembered the male lion and watched him out of the corner of her eye. If they pounced she could probably race off, but the cheetah might catch her up.

[Dagger]

The ravaged land brought no feel of emotion to his mind, why should it? After all he was new to these lands 'Is it really this easy to slip into this place? Pathetic.' came the scoffing thought to his mind while the large male moved along the barren land, heading for the lush and seemingly untouched outline of the jungle.

Sighing Dagger turned his amber eyes to look up above the trees and frowned when he failed to see even the sign of life from birds... there were none of those either it seemed "This is disgusting... stupid lions." he muttered, paws pressing into the undergrowth of the jungle upon reaching it, his wet nose twitching to accomidate the new smells assaulting his senses.

"What the.... another cheetah... lions?" confused and feeling a sparking bitterness upon thinking of the large hairy brute he followed the scents, soon he came upon the scene.... one cheetah... two lions.... and was that sobbing, a cub perhaps? Snorting to himself the king cheetah could barely supress the urge to roll his eyes at the oddness of all of this, soon he stepped out of the brush with a scowl upon his black lips, giving himself away "Well.... this is the oddest thing I've ever seen." he spoke softly, turning his eyes to Seleter , barely seeming to acknowladge Charlie, Afya or Remba in the least.

[Dakota]

It seemed that Seleter had heard the twig snap underfoot the same time as he had, but with his cut paw, she managed to turn faster, and was now letting the new one know who was indeed in charge of things.

Charlie stepped up beside Seleter who had hidden Remba under her from any prying eyes. Watching this adolescent lioness standing in front of them, what he noticed first was her startling green eyes, and then as his gaze continued to roam over her, he saw that she was very lean hmm.. ok built for speed by the looks, but crikey look at that funny tail, seems to go with her ears . Holding back his slight amusement, he listened as she tried to explain her presence.

Charlie turned his head slightly, he could smell another new scent, this time he was the one who stepped forward, slightly sheltering Seleter and Remba. With claws protracted and a growl leaving his curled up lips he stared with hostility at this King Cheetah who casually stepped out through the bushes, behaving as if he owned the place.

The black lion didn't relax his stance as he eyed the black and tanned skinny male standing haughtily in front of them all.
Turning to the lioness who hadn't moved or spoken "So... you two come together.? .anything you would like to tell us about your sudden appearances, or is it just a coincidence ?"

Afya backed up trembling. The lion thought they were together. She racked her brains then remembered a single word spoken in sorrow in her old pride. Scar. He thought that they....

"Don't come near me!" She shouted nearly crying as memories of her murderous father floated into her head. He had gotten friendly with Scar, a little way before he murdered her mother. Afya did not trust him or this new cheetah. The cub and the other cheetah didn't seem to be making a move.

"I don't even know him I hate strangers!" She cried out and sat down low too scared to do anything else. The cheetah with the cub hadn't moved or spoken. Afya looked at her for help as she shook uncontrollably.

Remba sat there, her tears had stopped as soon as she had heard strangers voices, she couldn't see because Seleter was standing in her way protecting her, were they bad, these new ones. Getting impatient Remba used her front paws and pushed the small cheetah to the side so she could see what all the commotion was about.

"oh" was all that came out from her muzzle, there was a lioness crouching on the ground crying, and nearby a huge cheetah. Looking at both of them ,Remba then looked up at Charlie, he was growling,she then turned back to Seleter watching to see what she was going to do maybe the cheetah is seleters father

"My name is Afya. I'm sorry to intrude. I didn't mean to upset you. I was just going to creep past you."

Sneak past them? Seleter's eyes narrowed slightly. Had this lioness any idea... Was she so outdated of what was going on...?

However, Seleter's thoughts were pulled away from the lioness when she heard yet another voice, but before she could do anything Charlie already stood in front of her, sheltering her and Remba from whoever it was who had stepped up.

The lioness cried out, and Seleter decided it was time to calm the situation before things got out of control. She stepped away from behind Charlie, touching his paw with her own in a silent request to stay calm and not intimidate these two newcomers any more than he already had. She smiled at him faintly, a calm reassuring smile, before she turned to look upon the second newcomer.

Her eyes widened slightly and a quiet gasp escaped her. It had been a long time since she had seen another one of her kind, and even a longer time since she had seen a king cheetah. The last time... The only one she thought she'd ever see had been her father. A flood of memories rushed through her mind, before she got them under control again and could think properly.

This male was younger than her father had been when she had seen him... He was pretty much a stranger.
"Odd is a vague definition on these lands", she replied with a blank face.
"I have simply found the company of these lions safer than the company of hundreds of hyenas that work under the lion 'king' and either kill our young for their own amusement or steal or kills so that nothing is left."
She paused, lifting an eyebrow slightly.
"Might I ask what a cheetah such as yourself does in the jungle...? Or on these lands anyway, it's been a good while since I saw other cheetahs..."

[Dagger]

Immediatly the king cheetah glanced at Charlie and offered a scowl and a low growl "I do not deal with.... lions." he muttered, speaking the word as though saying something foul, his black nose wrinkling a little bit while his fuzzy tail flicked in obvious aggrivation.

Upon the lioness' break down Dagger could not help but roll his eyes with a digusted look "Crybaby." he grumbled to himself, honestly this female was obviously useless. Ears flicking at Seleter's words Dagger slowly lowered himself onto his haunched "True... true..." upon her question of his presance he let out a small scoff and looked upward slightly "I'm simply passing through... I have no real reason to be here."

Afya thanked the female cheetah with a brief smile. She realized she was crying like a little cub. She spotted a young cub looking at her and realized the cub was being more grown up then her. Afya took deep breaths of air and got to her feet. Feeling like a complete idiot. She silently groomed her paws and tried to dry her eyes. What am I doing? She thought to herself. If she intended to stay a rogue she would have to get used to the fact that she wasn't going to have much support. Her sharp green ears picked up a voice it came from the king cheetah Cry baby Afya fumed. She had excellent hearing and this cheetah was treating her like a baby!

"Excuse me? Crybaby? I'm still getting used to the fact that I have to watch out for myself! I've been through some bad things recently, and no I don't want to talk about it." Afya snapped at him. Forgetting that she should be avoiding a fight. Physical or Verbal. She did not particularly like males at the moment. She turned to the male lion, now ignoring the king cheetah.

"I'm sorry for breaking down. If Hyenas and a horrible lion rule these lands then I understand why you are suspicious. However I can assure you I'm not a good fighter so you don't need to worry about me doing any harm." She assured. Afya decided that being unsure and overly praising would get her somewhere. She walked forwards a bit now. Feeling slightly safer.

"So who are you all? I'm Afya" She informed the king cheetah. She sat down slowly and waited for an answer. She still felt silly about crying and hoped she hadn't made a bad impression.

Charlie stood there eyeing up the Cheetah, who did he think he was saying he doesn't deal with.... lions. Not about to let Seleter let the newcomer get away with his snottyness, he moved a couple of paces closer, but stopped when the lioness decided to burst into tears.

what on earth has this jungle pushed at us, Scar would have her for dinner as soon as look at her...why.. did they have to stumble upon us for
Suddenly all the sniffing and water works stopped, and apologies came forth. Charlie stopped where he was, and turned his look upon the Cheetah, slowly looking him up and down, hmm.. wasn't that impressive, all he had on on him was big mouth by the looks.

"I'm simply passing through... I have no real reason to be here."
Charlie sneered at him and looked back down at Seleter seeing how she was taking having one of her own around her again. Seeing the look on his friends face, the black lion turned to Dagger.
" Well don't let us keep you then, I'm sure you have other places you would like to be."

Seleter smiled faintly at the king cheetah, but it was a forced smile.
"I see..."
She wasn't impressed by the answer given to her. She glanced at the lioness whose emotions seemed to change faster than a pregnant cheetah's... The golden cheetah chuckled unamusedly at that comparison. Oh the irony...

"Well don't let us keep you then, I'm sure you have other places you would like to be."

Seleter glanced at Charlie. She understood, somewhat, why he was acting like this... After all the king cheetah was the one who didn't want to deal with lions. She sighed. How different she was than the king cheetah...
"This is no good land for by passers", she warned.
"If I were you I'd turn back and return to where you came from, unless you wish to get the whole pride of lions and their pack of hyenas after you."

Remba watched the cheetah, he was so big, she had to keep looking up and up till she came to his face. She sat there still between Seleter and Charlie, the lioness didn't catch her attentionl, she was interested in him.
" Mister, why do you have a big fluffy tail, seleter hasn't got one like yours, and ... why are you so grumpy and growling at Charlie, he's a nice lion."

Remba took some steps towards him and kept staring. "And why are those bones sticking out from your tummy, are you sick ?"
Sitting down on her rump, she tilted her head this way and that, examining him more closely, for some reason she wasn't afraid of him, he was.. interesting.

[Dagger]

The golden eyes of the cheetah narrowed sharply at both the lion's and the cheetah's words, but soon he brushed them off to turn his eyes to Remba. Curiously his gaze softened and he lowered his head to look Remba in the eyes, a smile curling his black lips "Well little one... I cannot provide an answer for my tail.." His eyes flickered to charlie with a low glare for a second before they switched back to the cub, paws shifting on the earth, tearing it with his claws a little bit "As for being grumpy with your... friend here.... I had a.... bad experiance with lions at a young age..." he murmured quietly.

Straightening himself he looked upon the ribs pressing out and obvious against his tight skin "No I'm not sick... it's been a while since I've eaten..." he muttered, fluffy tail curling around his feet. Attention shifting back to Seleter he raised a brow and flicked an ear "King? Ah... you mean that Scar guy?" he asked with a tilt of his head. As an off thought he flicked his eyes to Afya and replied tonelessly "My name is Dagger."

Afya watched as they all began to investigate Dagger. He did seem very strange to her. She'd never seen a King Cheetah before. He seemed to hate lions, especially those who didn't treat him with respect. Maybe being a 'king' cheetah went to his head? Afya thought to herself. She chuckled quietly at the thought. Seleters words seemed to strike her gut as they were spoken. What had happened to the pridelands that her mother had told her stories of? Perhaps Scar had done with it? Afya loathed that name with every bone in her body. Finally deciding to be professional with her emotions she breathed deeply. How turbulent her life had recently become. She sniffed the air again and remembered the foul stench of blood. She vaguely registered the cheetah telling her his name.

"Good to meet you..." She said barely conscious of what she was saying. She raced behind the bush and began uprooting the dirt. She furiously dug and covered up the blood trail as her paws evened out the terrain. After several minutes of hard digging she stood back and smiled at her handiwork. She trotted back through the bush and sat down.

"There. If you're so on edge about Scar that kinda gives you away" She said, not in a rude way. A sort of 'now you can settle down a bit' tone of voice. She smiled at them. She then realized she had been very random. She smiled again nervously.

"Sorry bit of cub randomness shining through, also that only covered up a bit of it. Once that stops bleeding we ought to move on a bit" She said, her mother had taught her all this when they had planned to run away from her dad.

Seleter's tail flickered behind her when Remba stepped closer to the king cheetah, a sign of the fact she was fully alert now to pull the cub out of the king cheetah's reach should need arise. However, instead of being hostile like with Charlie, the king cheetah, Dagger, was very friendly with the small lion cub.

Smiling softly, Seleter turned her attention at the lioness who suddenly raced off. She lifted an eyebrow, dumbfounded as to why she suddenly disappeared, until she returned.

"There. If you're so on edge about Scar that kinda gives you away."

Seleter chuckled, shaking her head as she tried to resist laughing out louder than the chuckle.
"Scent of blood doesn't come off quite that easily", she pointed out, "It lingers on the air for quite some time, that and we did walk a bit longer distance than the part you covered..."

She glanced at Charlie, spesifically his paw, and decided it would be best if they moved of from this place and get the wound finally cleaned.
"Indeed, I do speak of Scar", she replied to the question Dagger had made.
"But truth is, I'm more worried about his queen. Zira does most of the scouting these days, which is why we came to the jungle. I haven't seen her lay a paw in here even once during my life time... Anyway..!"
She smiled faintly.
"I'm Seleter, Charlie's name you heard already, and this sweet little lady here is Remba. Would you two, Dagger and Afya, like come with us for now at least? I passed by a small stream not too far from here, and Charlie's paw needs to get cleaned."

Scent of blood doesn't come off quite that easily" Afya almost chuckled at her words. How could she(OOC: Afya) have made such a cub like assumption?

"Oops didn't think of that" She said smiling. She watched as she introduced everyone. She saw Remba and smiled at the cub. She seemed to be interested in Dagger. She smiled watching her curious eyes. She had to lean down slightly and say hello. She looked at Seleter to let her know what she was going to do. She slowly leaned down to Remba.

"Hi Remba. I'm Afya." She said smiling and immediately straightening up. She loved cubs. She seemed to be a natural like her mother. She smiled at Seleter. Some time in the future Afya was going to have her own cubs. However now she needed to grow a bit. It took her a few minutes to process what Seleter had asked her. She gaped at her with astonishment. Somebody actually didn't mind her. She smiled widely at Seleter.

"I'd love to. I've got no where else to go." She said happily knowing she wasn't being shunned she crossed the short distance and plopped down near Remba and Seleter.

"Lead the way" She said smiling widely.

Remba watched the new lioness bend down and smile at her and say hello, she didn't reply but stared at her and went and stood beside Charlie, while looking back and forth between Seleter and The king Cheetah.

"Seleter... can we go now, Charlie needs a bath to help his paw and that new one over there needs some food to look after his bones."
Looking at Ayfa, Remba turned away and over her shoulder and stated " I guess she can come too."

Waiting between her friends for them to start walking she heard her tummy start to growl and she opened her muzzle and let out a loud burb as well "I think I'm hungry too Charlie."

Nala could see from the corner of her eye, Scar still dragging Fire away further back into the cave where darkness fell over everything.
Turning back to the lioness that was still struggling under her paws as she held her to the ground,
"so.. nows your choice, Zira's off somewhere,and Scar can't see you, when I let you go you better slip off and away, or there will be only blood left of this cave floor."

Moving up and back, Nala looked over to the one who stated he was Scars son, she wasn't sure what to expect from him, but she needed to follow Scar deeper intothe cave to try and help Fire.

[Dagger]

Silently the kig cheetah's golden eyes flickered back and forth to each one who started talking or doing something, well this was indeed a colorful little bunch that was for sure. Ears flicking when Seleter began reading off names he only nodded in understanding and watched for a little longer. But upon the she cheetah asking him to come along he leaned his head back and seemed to think on it.... well...."Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad." he mumbled to himself.

Slowly he pushed onto his paws and approached Seleter a little more before smirking, but more in a good natured way then before "Alright.... this should be interesting."

When Ranger heard what Nala said to the lioness, he thought, whoa, she sounds serious about this, too. He looked over at her and asked,
"Do you need me to help you with your friend?"

"I guess she can come too."

Seleter chuckled gently at Remba's words. It was so cute, how her words made it to look like she was the one who decided who came along and who not..

Dagger's approach pulled her attention away from the cub. The way the king cheetah was smirking.. Her ears twiched and she smiled, trying to cover the sudden nervousness that for some reason rose up inside her. She gave Charlie another glance, making sure he was all right.

And she begun leading the group, making sure to walk slow enough so that Remba with her tiny feet and Charlie with his injured paw would be able to keep up. The golden cheetah lead them to her own, already fading tracks that she had created when she had ran through the jungle in search for both Charlie and Remba.

Afya followed the group, walking at the back. She was very quiet the whole journey. Seleter seemed sure of herself, it calmed Afya's turbulent emotions to know that someone in control of themselves was nearby. She got the feeling that the King Cheetah was more interesting then her...If only they knew. She sniffed her surroundings every so often checking for a strange scent. She didn't trust Dagger, maybe it was because he was mysterious but he didn't seem safe. Then again she was pretty unstable. Remba was very sweet, but she didn't seem in that much of a hurry to make friends with her. Afya suddenly remembered the mention of food.

"Where will we get food from? If what you say is true there isn't much to hunt" Afya said pulling up alongside Seleter. She did sort of hope she wouldn't have to go hunting. She would probably be a laughing stock.

Charlie stood there quiet, his gaze moving between the king cheetah and the lioness, it all didn't make sense to him,. something just wasn't right about these two suddenly materialising out of no where, especially as they had been playing hide and seek with scar and his supporters.

And again Seleter took charge, not letting him have any say,and he watched through hooded eyes as the cheetahs gave each other glances. Biting down on a retort, he turned and followed, watching over Remba in case the one calling himself Dagger made any false moves, he trusted Kikome to look after the cub, and where was he when the going got tough, it wasn't going to happen again.

Before long he found himself passed by the lioness, wanting to know where food was as she was hungry, Charlie was now at the back once again and his paw was throbbing and the pain was working its way up his leg and onto his back, he felt like he had been hit with something hard all over, he really needed to lie down somewhere and soon

Remba gave a little squeak and jumped out of the way when the lioness moved up fast beside Seleter asking for food, mmm she didn't have very good manners, you wait till you are offered some.

With the king cheetah and the rude lioness now with Seleter, Remba turned and walked along side Charlie, watching how he limped and seem to pull faces when he placed his paw on the ground while walking.

"Charlie .. does your foot really really hurt ? maybe when we stop you can soak it in some water and it will feel better. You know.. if I was big and strong I would carry you."
Looking up at him she grinned hoping it would make him feel happy.

Hearing her tummy make noises again, she looked at Dagger and Ayfa
" I hope they don't eat all the food when we get some, he's pretty skinny and needs fattening up, and she..she better be used to sharing"
