(OoC: lol... this is like a clash of the two most suspicious and sneaky people ever.)

This... Zira seemed nice enough. She might have juist lost her temper earlier. he pretended to let his guard down. "Other cheeatahs...?" What an odd question to ask... She obviously wants information from me if the first thing she says is a question. She might be after Seleter, she did say that the lions here didn't like cheetahs. I'll press her on it, perhaps I'll learn something.

"Well, I suppose I might have met a few. Not that it would interest you though, it's not as if you're... looking for one, Is it? Of course, if you did want to know, perhaps you could tell me what happend to these lands in exchange. I believe it has something to do with someone named Scar?"

He wonderd how far he could push her before he snapped. He wanted to find out as much as possible without giving away what he knew... And she most likely wants the same.

Charlie was suprised that Seleter had come after him, had he got it wrong that he was just in the way, that perhaps somehow he was needed after all. A little spark of hope started to rekindle in his heart.
"Do you really need me Seleter, or is it just that I'm here, because the father of your cubs that you are going to have, happens to be with some one else."

Pausing Charlie felt guilt and sadness rush over him the way he was speaking to her, but he needed to say what he had been feeling the last few days.
"I don't have anyone.....What's left for me...?I have had no one to support me",
"And by the looks of it will never have."

Seleter's words stabbed at him, and he lifted his head at last looking at her curled up miserably. Stepping closer, Charlie lowered himself, till he was lying beside her, and he gently bought up a paw and pulled her in closer till they were sharing body warmth. Feeling her tremble under his paws he tucked her head under his chin and just held her, wishing everything could go back to how it was.

Knowing in his heart that he could never abandon Seleter and Remba, he thought carefully about what he wanted to say.

"Seleter, I was going off by myself to see if I could find Fire and Nala, and to see if there was some way Icould help them escape. You didn't seem to want me around and I felt as though I was just in the way. And I thought if Fire knew he was to become a father to your cubs, that he wouldn't leave you alone, he would be there for you. "

Feeling her stiffen while he held her, he carried on regardless, he was never much good with words and trying to get them across, usually it always came out wrong.

" I'm not sure how Nala will react when she finds out, seeing that she seems to have feelings for Fire as well, but if he turns his back on you I will make him pay, I swear to you, you wont be alone. If you want me to, I'll be his replacement and care for you and Remba and your new cubs, till you have no further need for me."

Not sure what else to say Charlie, let a sigh slip through his lips, and just lay there, cradling her and letting her know she wasn't going to be alone.

Zira blinked her eyes, but didn't let the frown come to her face. No, she had too keep this up, she had to act as if she was sad of what had happened...
"Scar is the King", she said on a calm voice.
"He had to take the throne after his dear brother and nephew died on a tragic stampede..."
She let her head drop slightly, as if she was mourning all this. She very much enjoyed this situation...
"He has done what he can to keep the lands from dying..." she said on a low voice. "Unfortunately... It seems there's no way to stop this..."
She lifted her head, gazing around, as if recalling what the lands had looked like when Mufasa had been the king.

When Charlie got up Seleter thought he was going to leave. But to her surprise he came to lay down next to her, hugging her in comfort. She closed her eyes, burying her face half into Charlie's mane.

"-- if Fire knew he was to become a father to your cubs --"

Seleter froze, her eyes widening in surprise at what Charlie said. She listened as he finished, not daring to interrupt. When he sighed and fell silent she finally gathered the courage to speak.
"How did you...?"
She blinked her eyes, swallowing the question. So that was what had made Charlie behave like he had... She pulled her head back slightly so that she could look at him.
"Charlie..."
She hesitated, flattening her ears before turning to look away.
"Fire is not the father..."

She didn't dare to look at him, didn't dare to see his reaction. She had admitted it now, that she would have cubs... She wondered how he had come to this conclusion, soon enough realizing that it was because Fire and Charlie were the only males of the group.

Seleter closed her eyes, knowing she wouldn't be able to hold back her tears much longer.
"It... happened before I met this group... I... I didn't..."
She swallowed, hesitating to continue. She had no idea how to tell Charlie, she didn't even know if she wanted to tell... But she wanted him to know! What else could she do than tell?
"The father..."
She couldn't hold them any longer, she could feel how the tears begun falling down her cheeks.
"Scar..."

She shivered, still keeping her head turned away from Charlie. She wanted to tell him she hadn't wanted this, that at the time it had been the only option, that she was afraid she would get killed by either Scar or Zira if one of the two found out... All this she wanted to explain, and yet the words wouldn't come, because most of all she was afraid of what Charlie would think now.

(OoC: are we pretending that it's possible for lions and cheetahs to breed or something?)

She is either telling the truth or a very good at lying. And I think I trust Seleter more then her.

"Hm. It seems odd that such a nice place would die out without cause." Reagen smirked, what he was about to say would either crack her or make her crack his head open. "Perhaps it has something to do with Scar letting hyenas have free roam of the place?" He put himself fully on guard in case she pounced, he made no attempt to hide it any more.

"I'll be honest Zira," (he lied) "I know that this is Scars falt, and you do too. What I'd really like to know is why anyone is standing for all this. What's his secret? Why is he still king?" Reagen wanted to know this, he hoped if he pieced together enough information on Scar he could use it to his advantage. "Of course, someone so loyal to the king wouldn't tell me all this. But I'm not trying to oppose him. In fact, I'd like to help him. If you tell me what's going on, I'll tell you what I know about... Seleter? Does that ring a bell?"

Now, Reagen isn't totally evil. He didn't intend to betray Seleter. He'd say something that was either a lie, or something so vauge that she'd never find her. But something that was good enough to make her thankful for it. He prayed that Zira was, in fact, looking for Seleter. If not, then he had just made himself a dangerous enemy.

[This Land]

Kikome Picked up his Ears, Listening for anything, just a tiny little sound, apart from leaves rustling and the wind whistling.

He stood there quiet for a while, letting the silence take over his mind. and waiting for it to be disrupted, by the tiniest sound that would come from a Cub.

His ears twitched as he then heard a small voice squeak.
His reaction was immediate and he pounced through the thick bush and suddenly he gasped for air. As for when he jumped through the bushes, his neck got wrapped tight in vines. The sudden Stop flung Sukari off Kikome's Back and she landed in the interwinding vines.

Kikome first thought nothing of the vines as he could just cut them clean off, but when he realised that the shear force of his leaping into the vines, tangled his paws aswell, the situation was alot worse. Kikome could hardly breath, every moment he was gasping for Air. He kept his cool though, he knew if he struggled, he would be using more energy thus running out of oxygen quicker. Kikome had enough breath just to choke out a few words
"Sukari.........Neck"
No matter how professionally trained you are, there will always be one natural element that can out power you.
Kikome Focused on where Sukari had Landed, And for a moment he thought that the lack of air was making him see double, but he soon realised he wasnt, Sukari had just landed right next to Remba. Even worse, Remba was all tangled up and Sukari was unconscious, amd for the first time in Kikome's Life, he feared death. He didn't want Remba to see him go like this, he didn't want Sukari to loose her dad.....again.

In one final Gasp of Air, Kikome Squeezed out a Roar as loud as he could. but the roar soon suddenly stopping after a few seconds and the remainder air just Leaked out. Kikome's Muscles loosened and his eyes Shut.

Sukari's Eyelids fluttered and she gasped as she came out of her unconsciousness by Kikome's roar. Sukari glanced to the side to see Remba and before she noticed how trapped Remba was, she looked ahead of her to see Kikome, entangled in vines. She didn't notice the seriousness of the situation at this time, she assumed he was just harmlessly unconscious.
"Remba are you ok" Sukari said worried

Sukari looked over to Kikome again and now noticed how the vines had caught him, they were around his neck, and she couldn't see his chest motioning or hear him breathing. Sukari started Breathing very heavily
"Kikome!" she screamed
Sukari Jolted forward towards Kikome and made her way through the vines to get to him. She tried her best not to get tangled up, but she soon did. She tried her best to get free but she couldn't..... she repeated screaming "Kikome", as she tried as best as she could to grab his vines and cut them, but she couldn't reach, Sukari given up and stared at him, watching his Mouth slowly drop as the last moments of his life, was starting to slip away.

For a Moment, Sukari Questioned herself why she was getting so upset about Kikome, after all he was a stranger to her, a complete stranger. Why was she reacting like Kikome was a Family member that was passing away. Sukari dug deep into her heart, trying to figure out why she was upset about a "stranger" almost a inch from death, passing away. There was only one answer, but she refused to believe it. Her Family Died some time ago......

Charlie lay there holding a shaking Seleter, he honestly didn't know what to do as he was being pulled in different directions.

"Charlie..."......"Fire is not the father..." ......"The father..."....Scar..."

Surprise hit him in the gut hard and he stiffened. Still holding Seleter he was about to push her away in disgust. Moving his head away where it was tucked on top of hers, he looked down at her face, trying to keep his emotions in tact. All he could see were tears running down her small face, over a look of such sadness and something else he couldn't figure out.

How can Scar be the father, Seleter hates him with every breath in her body, she wouldn't have gone willingly with him, how on earth could ...

Pushing her away, Charlie lept to his paws and stood there, thoughts of rage filled him like never before "I will kill him with my own paws, I swear to you Seleter."

Looking down at the cheetah he realised she was cowering before him. "whats wrong, what have I done Seleter", dropping back down before her he used his paw to gently stroke the top of her head "Tell me, You know I would never hurt you intentionally, what do you want me to do ? do you care for Scar and want his life spared, is that it ?"

[Fire]

(WHOOOoo.. Wow.. Been a while *Cracks his knuckles.. Get this show on the road! :3)

The red-maned lion gulped as he heard Scar's words, knowing that he was basically tip-toeing on the boundaries that he was allowed to cross with his atttitude. He nodded submissively to the lion, yet.. he still felt that hatred towards Scar. `Fine...`

`Good...`Scar said with a smirk on his face, looking over to the lionesses with a shake of his head, them going over to Nala and leading out of the cave so that they could safely guard her while not letting her escape, this allowing Scar and Fire to have a 'talk' of their own.

The black-maned lion circled around Fire with a grin from ear-to-ear, reaching a paw up and slamming it against Fire's chest, this taking him off-guard and surprised. But Scar was already on him like a hyena on a scrap of meat, his paws pinning him down and Fire trying to catch his breath. `Silly lion.. Thinking you could take over my land like it was a walk in the jungle...`Scar chuckled quite deeply while Fire had a stern look on his face.

`This isn't land, Scar.. This is poisoned earth..`Fire growled into Scar's face. `The hyenas have upset the circle of life and now, the lands are paying for it...`

A slap was soon met across his cheek and Fire winced from it. `SHUT UP!.. You know nothing of the circle of life... My lionesses have been taking care of this with careful monitoring...`

`At what point do you think that the outnumbered hyenas will listen to them and just go off on their own? Hyenas are selfish ignorant idiots, Scar.. And YOU know it!`

(OOC: Sorry, I haven't posted. Haven't been near the Internet for a while and it's driving me nuts.
And thanks to whoever reminded me that everyone was at Pride Rock.)
IC: Ranger headed back to Pride Rock, thinking, well maybe Zira was right. They are back there, I just didn't see them. As he climbed up the side of Pride Rock, he could hear his father and another unfamiliar lion talking and just as he walked into the cave, he saw his father hit the other lion and yell for him to shut up. He decided to stay in the shadows to see what would become of this. When he heard the other lion say that Scar knew the hyenas were selfish, ignorant idiots, he smirked and thought, go, strange lion. It's nice to know that someone else besides me has the courage to stand up to my father.

Remba lay there trapped in the vines with her eyes closed shaking badly, wanting to see who it was that had come to her, but at the same time still afraid.

Hearing a crash and all the vines shook, Remba was moved a little, not held so tight. Opening her eyes she saw sukari near her and the other new lion was a bit further away. Watching her friend scream and try to get to him, made Remba want to cry
where is Charlie and Seleter, why aren't they here to help

Wriggling a little bit Remba found that she could now move and slowly pulled herself towards where Sukari was trapped with more vines holding her tight.

Watching, the cub could see that the big lion was looking funny and didn't seem to be moving any more, but when he roared she jumped in fright, then he went quiet again. Looking at Sukari who had tears running down her face and was just staring at him after she screamed out his name Kikome, Remba knew something bad was happening.

Pulling herself forward with her tiny claws, she moved past Sukari and reached Kikome. He seemed to be sleeping, so she used her paw and rubbed his nose, he didn't move. Leaning in closer she heard a funny sound coming from his throat like he couldn't breathe. Remba stopped not sure what she should be doing, but moved closer till she could see that he had something tight around his neck.

Staring back at the other cub who was still all twisted up, Remba bought her paws down against Kikomes neck and started pulling on the vine, it didn't move much, so she started clawing at it, trying to break it up, then used her teeth to bite at it, slowly little pieces were coming away as she spat them out of her mouth. Puffing and panting, she looked back at the big lion still lying there quietly.

Her torn ear twiched slightly after this, a movement she couldn't control in time. It was the only out of ordinary movement from the lioness, if her assumed mourning over the lands' fate could be called ordinary.
'I did not tell him my name', she thought.
She remained silent, listening to the rest of what the cheetah had to say. When the name Seleter slipped from him she locked her gaze on him, thinking. It could have looked like that she thought of the deal he offered, or that she thought of the reply to the questions he made before that.

But in reality she thought how this Reagen knew who she was.
'Either he has heard of me from someone... like Seleter... Or he was spying me and Ranger.'
If the later was the fact, then her act was rather useless.
'Or both, he could have spied AND met Seleter...'

She wanted to smirk, stopping herself on the last moment to contain the calm expression.
'Too bad for you I have no use for her location...' she thought.
'Unless...'
Her torn ear twiched again. The still not completely healed scar tickled.

"Why is Scar still the King?" she repeated his question.
"The pride supports his rule."
That was half a lie as only half of the lionesses actually supported him... But the best lies had a hint of truth in them.
"Why the hyenas are around...? They are many, with united power the bordering prides that want a part of the Pride Lands for themselves can be kept away."
More like the bordering prides wanted to overthrow Scar and bring back the "good old" Pride Lands... But the cheetah didn't need to know that, she knew he was an outsider and that maybe he was now fishing for infomation.

The stripe headed wanted to see just how far was he ready to go to get what he wanted. She maybe wouldn't get much in return, but she'd learn about this cheetah, wanted he it or not.

She had expected him to react strongly, but stil Charlie's reaction startled her. Maybe it was because she hadn't expected him to react that way... Well really she didn't even know what she had expected.

Her head automatically turned around so she was facing him, her eyes wide in surprise. Then he calmed and came closer, stroking her head gently while speaking. Had the situation been different she might actually have purred.

But not this time.

"-- do you care for Scar and want his life spared, is that it ?"

Her eyes flashed.
"I want him to die and go to hell", she hissed out venomously, snatching her head away from Charlie's reach.

She stood up and turned to look at the lion with her ears flattened. Once again she didn't look like herself at all. She looked like the cheetah who had openly offended Scar before he took away Nala and Fire. She had that dark and cruel look in her eyes again, something that was the complete opposite of what she usually was.
"You'd do a suicide trying to kill him", she said on a much lower than normal voice that had a sharp edge to it.
"It's not only him you got to fight, it's also Zira, half of the lionesses and the hyenas. Even if you killed him, would they welcome you with open arms? Or would they kill you for killing their pathetic excuse of a King?"

She shook her head, turning to look at the trees. How different this place was from the open savannahs. No room to run freely, no wind to brush your fur... But it would have to do.
"There's the reason for why I want to learn fighting", she said, her voice still lowered.
"There's the reason why I want my cubs to learn fighting. They'll be rejected once everyone knows who their father is. Others will only see Scar in them, with all the 'he lives in you' stuff and so. If they don't know how to protect themselves they will die, fast."

The golden cheetah took a deep breath before slowly letting the air out through her nose. She glanced at Charlie. She knew he must have been confused, the situation she was in was just so... unreal.
"Charlie..." she said, her voice softened slightly.
"I'll explain, I'll explain it all... When I'm ready."

Seleter's ears perked up and she suddenly turned her head at the direction where she had come from. A roar, she was sure she had heard a roar. And she was almost positive there were not many creatures inside the jungle who could let out such a sound.

Her eyes widened and she suddenly looked like she would panic at any moment, a surprisingly fast change of behaviour. If that had been Kikome...
'The cubs...!'
She looked at Charlie, then at his hurt paw.
"Don't overdo the running..." she warned him, her warning sounding more like a plead.
"Don't hurt your paw more than it already is hurt... Please?"

Then she dashed, following the blood trail to where she had first seen it, to where she had stopped following Remba's scent. She feared of what could have happened. Were the cubs in danger, had someone found them? Hyenas? Zira?

Scar...?

"the pride supports his rule"

Reagen didn't think that was possible, but he couldn't think of a better explanation. He wasn't sure why, but she seemed to have suddenly lost her trust in him. Had he given something away...? He wasn't satisfied by her response, but that's all he would try for. He confirmed that 'pride rock' was where the pride lived from spying earlier, that was enough for now.

"Interesting, I didn't think you would have border troubles. Well, I really must be off."

He started to leave, but then stopped. "Oh, and I found Seleter and the oth- I found Seleter in the jungle near a waterfall." He had just realized that Zira might not know that Seleter had that other lion, Kikome, as company. He started to leave in the opposite direction from pride rock. He intended to double back and go around Zira. If he could find the other lion she had been talking too, he might be able to find out more...

[This Land]

(ooc - Sorry for the 1500 worded post xD. but it was a very big moment for Sukari and Kikome, so alot had to be written, because of this i have put alot of gaps in between places to make it easier to read for the eyes ^^)

Sukari lay there, still all tangled up in the vines, a couple of tears now coming down her eyes as she seen the effort of Remba getting past her and trying to free Kikome. Sukari shook her head out of un-confidence, that Kikome will breathe again. Sukari could still not understand why she was this upset, there was no other possible answer except the one that was on her mind ever since Kikome had that little chat to her a little while back. Kikome must be more than just an acquaintance she thought to herself.

Sukari collected focus and closed her eyes, she stretched as far as she could towards Kikome and emptied every single bit of air in her Lungs, she then very slowly started to breathe in through her nose, taking every possible scent of Kikome that was being emitted, and she focused deeply every second, pinpointing possible outcomes of the scent. Her lungs started to fill up, she squeezed every bit of air into her lungs as she concentrated on the scent, if she stopped to let the air out, she would lose concentration. She then held her breath for 2 reasons....

Her Lungs where full and she was shocked, all the scent from Kikome that she taken in, pinpointed that Kikome was part of her Family, a very close relation. It struck her now all the questions she was asking herself earlier, Why didn’t she wake up when Kikome was around when she normally wakes up to strangers?. Why Does Did she have such great emotion and care for him so sudden?

Sukari, I am trying to find someone I lost, just like you have. But memory is a pretty big wall at the moment. And I’m sure we will crack it together. lets just give each other time, no matter how curious we both are. As I Said, until you are ready, then and only then you will find out. I hope you understand."

The 2 things that Kikome said earlier ran through Sukari’s Mind. She then at this time figured out what Kikome was on about.

Sukari’s Lungs still filled with air, she used them the best she could, she let out the loudest little roar she possibly could and vigorously shaken from side to side, with her claws fully bared, trying to rip through all these Vines, she kept like this, still roaring, still jolting around, gradually feeling the grasp of the vines loosen, until most of them had came off, just a few where left lying on her back as she took very deep breaths. After all this, Sukari felt Different in her mind; she now could remember things that she couldn’t......

She shook her body to get rid of all the loose vines and jumped onto Kikome’s shoulder. She sunk her teeth and claws into the vines that Remba had Started cutting into, Sukari done so as carefully but as powerfully as possible, she didn’t want to pull them as it would just hurt Kikome more, Sukari growled loudly as she was doing this. After a few moments, she finally managed to cut through the vines. She threw the now loose vines off of Kikome and put her ear to his Nose and mouth, she dreaded everything when he still wasn’t breathing.

Sukari jumped off his shoulder and stared at him lying on his side. Sukari got up close and begun to breath heavily again.
“Kikome, you are not un-conscious”

Sukari slapped his chest with her paw at hard as she could
“You can’t be...... and you can hear me”

She slapped again, but harder which made a deep thump sound
“Because I remember everything about you now...it has all came back to me right here...right now”

“I remember you too well......everything they trained you to do, all the stories you told me, You cannot be Un-conscious let alone be dead.”

Sukari hit again
“You also told me not so long ago about you trying to find someone you lost, and that memory is a big wall, I see now that it is me that you lost, and when you found me, you still was looking for me..... Because not all of me was here ........my memory had gone...... But Kikome, you have found me now, I remember you, “

Sukari Paused and tears started rolling off her cheeks
“Now Let me see you open your eyes and see them glisten, See me how I should be, body and Mind”
“NOW BREATHE AND SNAP OUT OF IT!” She yelled out of despair.
“Daddy......” she squeaked

Sukari tensed both of her paws together and Hit Kikome’s chest the hardest she could, it was the only way to get Kikome to breathe again.
As soon as Sukari gave his chest one last thump, that is exactly what Kikome done, he took one big gasp of air and his eyes shot wide open. Kikome’s eyes soon glistened as he focused on Sukari while he was breathing heavily, getting his breath back.

“S.....s.....” Kikome wheezed
“Sukari......I heard”
Kikome swallowed the saliva that had gathered up in his throat.
“I heard everything” he half whispered
Sukari’s Body filled with relief when Kikome had snapped out of it, but by the time Kikome had started to speak; Sukari had pounced on him, started to nuzzle him and purred softly.

The sun had now just about vanished and the Light from the moon and stars had soon started to take over, filtering through the dense jungle, hitting parts of the ground.

“Dad......I’ve got so much to tell you I’m so sorry I couldn’t remember you, it must of been awful for you to see me in the state I was......I just feel guilty” Sukari said Upset

Kikome’s eyes started to glisten as he stared at Sukari, smiling warmly, finally having his true Daughter back.
“Please Sukari do not worry about anything, all that matters is that we all are now safe.....and to think that my own daughter has just saved my life” he said and Smiled affectionately at Sukari
“You wouldn’t mind untying one of my paws would you....then I can do the rest” he chuckled

With that Sukari hopped to her paws and went to the closest paw of Kikome’s and started nibbling away at the vines, after a few moments, she finally got through it and one of Kikome’s paws were free. He soon quickly swiped his claws at the other vines and was soon completely free, including that of Remba.

“Sorry about the delay young Remba” Kikome said charmingly with a big grin.

With that, Sukari leapt on Kikome again and Kikome had done something that he hadn’t done for many Seasons.....Hug his Daughter again. It stayed like this for a few moments, just feeling the warmth of one another, and now that they were both fully re-united, now that Sukari’s Memory had returned. They both Shared tears for each other, they where both so happy to be with each other once again, and for Sukari not just in person, but in mind as well.

Sukari Turned and Smiled at Remba and then leapt over to her and hugged her tight as well.
“Thank you Remba......Thank you for helping..... If you hadn’t of started biting away at the Vines, it may of been too late for my Daddy, and I’m so glad you are safe” Sukari said happily and continued to squeeze Remba.

Kikome smiled again warmly as he seen his daughter thank Remba for Helping. Indeed it was true, if Remba didn’t of helped, it could of just been too late, and Kikome wouldn’t of been sitting up as he is now.
“Indeed Remba, Thank you for all of you help, you are one true Strong and Brave young little Lioness” he grinned.

“Now let us be heard and get out of here”
With that Kikome let out a deep roar, which was a bit sketchy at first because of his throat still feeling tight, but he managed to pull off a deep powerful roar.

Sukari turned around, looked at Kikome, walked up to him and sat down, a loving expression came across her face
“I’m just lost for words daddy, I just won’t be able to describe how happy I am to remember you...and that you are alive. And what confuses me is that how I remember all of a sudden...”

Kikome smiled and lowered his head to Sukari’s Level and Gently Licked the top of her Head. Sukari purred and returned the lick on Kikome cheek, then nuzzled him.

“Everything comes down to one thing my dear..... Instinct Sukari......Instinct......” Kikome whispered

Remba was pulling at the vines as hard as she could with her claws, then would stop and lean in chewing and pulling tightly with her small teeth. Her whole body was sore and tired from all the exhaustion, but she wouldn't stop.

Hearing Suki's little roars, then she was beside Remba helping to free Kikome. They both pulled and worked in unison, two little cubs together.

Kikome was now free after Suki had started hitting him ,and Remba watched as they cuddled and talked quietly to each other, then her friend suddenly pulled her into a big hug, and was thanking her for saving her daddy. Puzzled Remba turned to both of them.

"He's your daddy Suki ? why do you have one now and I don't, ?"

Remba stood there watching them, little tears forming in her eyes

[Dakota]

Charlie's eyes widened in disbelief as he heard the poisonous words flow from her muzzle, he had never heard her speak with such hatred before, it was a different side of Seleters nature, one he wasn't sure if he liked.

" Charlie I'll explain, I'll explain it all... When I'm ready." he heard Seleter say to him when he was about to question her further. Shutting his muzzle with a sigh he moved back away and was just watching the expressions pass over her face, he was more confused than ever, just a poor male not knowing how a females mind worked afterall.

Charlie's head snapped around the same time as Seleters, as the roar came rushing through the jungle to meet them head on. Was it Kikome !, was he in trouble, why had Seleter left him alone with both Remba and Sukari.
Pushing himself up from the hard packed earth, Charlie winced as pain shot through his paw and up his leg. Ignoring Seleters words, he moved off after her, stopping a short distance further on, he hadn't realised he had damaged it so much. Shaking the blood from his paw, the black lion pressed on, wanting to catch up to Seleter. As usual she made him feel imcompetant, much like his sister had, when he started to think about it.

[Kirsui]

"Oh, and I found Seleter and the oth- I found Seleter in the jungle near a waterfall."

Amusemend sparkled in her gaze as she watched how the cheetah made his leave. He wasn't looking at her, and she allowed the smirk finally rise upon her lips. Seleter and the others, hm? So the cheetah was still with her pathetic group of lions - or what was left it it after Fire and Nala were taken by Scar to the Pride Rock.
"We'll meet again, Reagen..." she said on a low voice when the cheetah was out of earshot.
"Trust me, we'll meet..."

She didn't quite believe the cheetah's words of Seleter's location. Why trust him when she herself had been lying of what she had said. The cheetah had known her name when she hadn't told it, he was hiding something and she wanted to know what.

However, the stripe headed would have none of that now as she had more important things to do. Such as...

She growled. She wanted to go back to the Pride Rock, to see what the situation with Nala and Fire was. But Also, Scar had sent her away, to check what the message one of those worthless, flea bitten hyenas had brought about the trespasser.

Her eyes flashed and the growl died as a devilish grin claimed its place on her lips. The sun had finally gone below horizon, and the light from the moon lit a burning flame to her eyes. It was time to pay a visit to the hyena who brought the message.

Seleter slid to a halt, her ears perked up. Her eyes were wide and she panted lightly after all the running. She hadn't yet come to the end of the blood trail, but she was sure she had heard another roar echo through the jungle. It came closer than the first one, and for some reason she felt the tone in this roar was different... It wasn't a desperate plead for help like the first one had been. It was a call, a note that things were all right but that precence of friends was still needed.

She blinked her eyes, her tail swooshing slowly behind her as she thought. Did this mean the danger was over? She was positive it was Kikome who had roared. What had the danger been in the first place? Were the cubs all right?

She caught the scent of Remba first, the cub had been the one who had come this way after all. As she closed her eyes and concentrated she could smell a faint hint of Sukari and Kikome in the air as well. All three must have been close when she had run past them in search for Charlie. She couldn't catch any other scents than those, and the only scent of blood was the one belonging to Charlie.

She made a decision and opened her eyes, turning to look over her shoulder. She knew Charlie was following, but how fast she didn't know. The danger, what ever it had been, was over, the cubs were safe. She could wait for her dark furred friend.

Nala dug in with her paws, as the two lionesses tried to usher her out of the cave.

"Get your filthy paws off me, you're nothing but scars scum.. touch me and you'll pay dearly"

Nala stood there baring her teeth, ready to strike if anyone moved any closer. Slowly she backed back into the cave, just as she heard Scar snidely saying.

"My lionesses have been taking care of this with careful monitoring..."

Nala spat out with disgust in her voice " yours lionesses, are too scared to tell you what is really happening out there, with those filthy creatures, they are all a bunch of gutless wonders, just like you are as well."

[Dakota]

Charlie grimaced as he lost vision with Seleter as she disapeared from view. There was no way he could keep up with her agility and speed, but he pressed on regardless, after all, it was just a paw that was hurt ,nothing that could stop him, it just slowing him down.

Clamping his jaw shut tight, Charlie made himself go faster, willing his paw not to stumble. He pushed past overhanging branches that were reaching out trying to grab at his fur and entangle him and ducking his head as vines that were acting like snakes draped over him. One grabbed hold of his ear and flung him to the ground. Wincing as the black lion pushed himself back up , he had to blink several times to clear his vision of water that had filled his eyes, with the brief burst of pain that had hit his head.

Taking a breath to steady himself, he moved on dear god, please let the cubs be ok, let it not be Scar and Zira that have found them, and if this is the fault of Kikome, more blood will be spilled and not of my own

[Reagen]

After eating some small things he scrounged up to keep his stomach from growling at him, Reagen headed off to follow the trail of the other lion, Ranger. He wasn't at all hard to follow, of course, he had no reason to disguise his trail. Even if it was, Reagen had heard him mentioning that he was going to Pride Rock. Pride Rock was not in anyway hard to find.

Imagine living up there! The view must be amazing... You'd be able to watch the whole pride lands from there!

Reagen thought about his last sentence for a moment, then muttered an extremely rude word to himself over his idiocy, and stalked low to the ground for the rest of his trip. When he arrived, he saw a lion hanging around outside the cave. He had no idea who it was, but no matter who it was, he wasn't dumb enough to go climbing Pride Rock. He would simply wait and watch.

(OoC: I can't quite remember if Reagen heard Rangers name, If not, disregard that part.)

(OCC: You know, I don't remember, either. So, I'll just disregard it, just to be safe.)

IC: Ranger thought he saw something out of the corner of his eye, so he spun around and scanned the area for a moment, and, seeing nothing, thought, it's just my imagination. He turned back to his father and the strange lion, then he heard Nala's voice coming from inside the cave and thought, oh, they better not be hurting her. With this thought, he growled deeply enough that Scar could hear, thinking , I'd better go inside and see if she's ok.

Scar had heard the pipsqueak from behind him, smirking to himself and then walking off of Fire while the red-maned lion recovered, rubbing his face slightly and shaking his head to rid himself of the shock. Scar however, had different things on his mind. His face turned cold as he sat down in front of the pack of lionesses, far enough away that he could be well aware of any trickery being done. "Nala.. To think that you thought I didn't know that those hyenas are nothing but scum that we felines wipe off on the grass whenever it bothers us.. They did get the job done, however. I am the king... And once I have found a way to rid of those filthy creatures, I will once again be able to restore all of the vegetation and wilderness that once abundanced itself throughout the lands."

".. You never will do it, Scar.." Fire said while getting up. "Hyenas are what you say they are, Scar.. They're scum... And like scum, there always seems to be some around wherever you go.. It will take a loong while before you drive them out.. Too long.. "

"SILENCE!" Scar said as he turned around to growl loudly and deeply at Fire. "I know this.. but I have my ways, idiot.. TruUUUuuust meeee" The lion said with a toothy grin.

[Kirsui]

Seleter sifted her weight nervously, her gaze turning from the direction where she knew Remba, Sukari and Kikome were to where she knew Charlie still was. The cheetah's tail flickered behind her in anxiety. She really wanted to go to Kikome and the cubs, she really wanted... But she waited. She was sure the danger was over now, and she simply stood there, wishing Charlie would come soon.

Then her ears perked up and a smile was on her lips for a brief moment, but only for a brief moment. For a moment it was silent and then finally she saw Charlie. He looked... well, not good.
"They're close", she spoke out.
"Danger seems to be over, so I waited..."
Her other ear twiched.
"Lets go."
She smiled faintly.
"This way."
Then she begun walking towards the direction where Kikome and the cubs would be. She looked over her shoulder, just to make sure Charlie was following. And really, she decided she needed to get Charlie's paw cleaned up after the group would get back to the hollow tree.

Zira was very amused. The filthy little vermin had no idea what was going to happen to him... There he was, lying under the dead tree with a few, three to be accurate, of his pack mates, dozing off in guard duty.

She smirked, crouching down even lower, flexing her muscles and extending her claws even more. Then she pounced, right on her target, flipping around and pinning the unsuspecting hyena before he could react. His pack mates were on their feet in an instant, but the low warning growl from Zira made them hold their positions.

Then Zira glared down at the hyena she had pinned.
"You brought me a word of an intruder..."
She smirked.
"Do you know what I do to those who lie to me.......?"
The hyena trembled, whimpering.
"but not only that... you're also sleeping on guard. I'm sure you know the consequences of that."
She pressed her left paw on the hyena's throat.
"Now... do you wish me to bring this information to the King...? Or shall I deal with the punishment?"
She smirked, lowering her voice into a whisper.
"You know he'd do more horrible things to you than me........"



((OOC: To answer Reagen and Growl... zira did mention Ranger's name while they discussed about it. you could have easily checked it too, since we haven't gone on for THAT long of a time since said discussion. ;) And errr... I just had to do something with Zira. XD))

IC: Ranger watched as his father got off the other lion and turned to speak to the lionesses. When he heard Scar yell out "SILENCE!" really loud, he jumped and thought, when my father wants to yell, he yells.

Remba stood there just watching Sukari with Kikome, not getting any answer from either of them, she took some steps back and turned, needing to find Charlie and Seleter.

Not knowing where to go, she put her little nose in the air and took a few sniffs, no smells really came to her, so she moved forward, where a path looked like it had already been made, as leaves were trampled on the ground and pressed into the dirt.

"Charlie, are you here ? Seleter.. it's me Remba, please come out from where you are ?"

[Dakota]

"They're close", .
"Danger seems to be over, so I waited..." Seleter spoke.

Charlie lifted his head up sharply at hearing those words, he was surprised, why on earth had she waited for him, she was just standing there with a small smile on her muzzle, staring at him. Slowing down even further, the black lion looked over his shoulder.
nope there's no one behind me, must be me .

Giving her a puzzled look, he continued to follow after her still limping and favouring his right leg, not realising that anyone coming behind on the trail, had a sure fire way to easily trace this small group , they just had to look at the ground and see the darkening red smudges that were filling in the cracks after Charlie had passed.

(Growl, it was Scar referencing to Fire, not Ranger. Sorry for the confusion. ^^)

IC: Ranger growled again, hoping against hope that his father would at least acknowledge him. If he didn't this time, Ranger would have to step in and say something in this strange lion's defense.

Nala stood there listening to the rubbish coming from Scars mouth, only trouble was it seemed he totally believed it, the only one he was fooling was himself as usual.

"Trust you..haha..thats too stupid for words"

Walking closer to Scar, Nala stopped and smiled sweetly
"The day I trust you is the day I kick dirt on your grave"

Still standing close to him, Nala inwardly braced herself for whatever was going to come, there was no way he would let her get away with what she said, especially in front of witnesses.

When he heard Nala say that the day she would trust Scar would be the day she'd kick dirt on his grave, Ranger snickered to himself, and thought, go Nala. This must be everybody-stands-up-to my-idiot-father-day or something. He watched to see what his father would do. If he dares hurt Nala or any other member of this pride, I am defending them with everything I have. He finally yelled out,
"Father, if you hurt her, I will personally attack you myself, so back off!"

[Fire]

Scar smirked to himself as he walked over to the daring lioness and just stood over her with that same smirk. "I don't need your trust in order to find ways to emotionally, physically, and mentally torture you.. and 'that', is something you can trust me on."

With that said, he had heard a voice from behind him and curiously turned his head to see another lion, perking an eyebrow and then walking over to the slightly standing but dazed Fire and chuckling while facing this new lion. "Father?.. What are you talking about, you little runt? I have no son.." The dark-maned lion then chuckled as he tsk-tsked his paw at the lion. "Now you go play with all the others. "Daddy" has got some work to do."

A paw soon came up to grasp the back of Fire's head as he slightly jumped, pummeling the red-maned lion down to the ground and allowing Scar to grasp into his mane with his teeth and start to drag him off, Fire getting really *** with himself always too dazed to fight as he was dragged off to another enclosed part of the cave.. Scar growling deeply as he tossed him to the side. "Anyone comes in and they won't have the eyes to see much more..." Scar then retreated back into the cave and soon, yowling of pain was heard from inside of the cave.

(OOC: Thank god, finally! I'd thought maybe everyone was so shocked by Ranger's outburst, they couldn't continue or something. *does happy dance*)

IC: Ranger was completly insulted. His father had completly denied him and treated him like a cub, telling him to go play with all the others. Ranger watched as the strange lion was dragged inside the cave and he heard someone yowling in pain. His claws came out and he thought, that is it. I've had it with this entire situation and I'm doing something about it! He ran to the entrance of the cave and roared as loud as he could, yelling,
"All right, that's it! I've had it! If somebody doesn't come out here and fill me in on what's going on, I am walking in there and I don't care who tries to stop me!"
