In his mind, Gargoroth thought he was losing his touch. He didn't seem as menacing as he had been in the past time with the Jahina. He shook his head slightly, wondering if this was a good thing or bad. "I'm Gargoroth, of the Jahina pride." He hoped that none of them had heard of his father or the midnight pride that he was the heir to. Although it would make him seem more frightening in their eyes, he didn't want that just because of a name. He reclined to muscular haunches before continuing. "I'm going to have to ask you to leave, tresspassing isn't something that we approve of around here." He looked to the jungle, wondering who the lionesses who slinked away could have been.
He then looked back to the group, his eyes narrowed. "Especially if you are Otana. I just ran one off, she was lucky that's all I did to her." Although he knew that he wasn't going to really be like that anymore, he couldn't let his tough guy appearance down to just everybody. He had to keep his guard around others, not knowing who they could be. This was a time of war, afterall. He couldn't turn too soft just yet.

Azure smiled. "Gargoroth.." She repeated. "Don't worry... i'm.. we're.. just passing through, we mean no harm. None at all." She said sweetly. "And we're not part of this 'otana' pride... haven't even heard of them actually." She blabbed on. She could be a bit talkative at times. "Well.." She finally concluded. "We'll be on our way now, Gargoroth." She ended it with a smile and a nod before turing back to the direction she was headed in.

Kisima giggled. "Hehe, noooooo.." She paused and smiled at him. "... Not at all!" She said with her tail swishing about behind her, and her ears perked up.

So he was defiantly Jahina.....Her mind buzzed into a hundred thoughts...how many more were there...the pride once flourished with so many Lions when she was here...But still Otana remained, there was once a truce...that had clearly been smashed...fighting just wasent her thing. Azure proclaimed that they would be leaving, she stuttered quickly..as if in seconds she would loose the chance to talk.
"I err....erm, don't suppose Legacy is still...around...."
Her voice trailing off....it was quite possible he too had left in search of something better but this Gargoroth seemed to probably be her best chance at finding out. She glanced sideways slightly at Azure...Obviously she did not know her purpose here, she did hope it wouldn't cause mixed feelings....if Azure found out Cova herself was once Jahina.....but she seemed to not know of either pride.

Back in the cave, Legacy had managed to drag himself to a wall and lean against it, for as short a time as it was. When he slid down the wall to the ground, he just lay there, like a corpse. Like all his energy had been ripped from him. He lay in no particular fashion, no paws crossed, legs in a certain position. He was in the position as if his legs had just given way from under him. And there he lay. The Great and Almighty Legacy, helpless. Of coarse he cursed every moment of his weakness, he wouldn't be who he was if he didn't. <No doubt the Otana think they have won this war.....> He thought as his teeth showed with what little strength he had. <They are sadly mistaken, the war has only begun....> Eyes open he stared at the other wall of the cave, contemplating what he would do when he returned to power once more. <All in due time....> Closing his eyes, he left his body to rest, as well as his mind. For the more he rested, the sooner he would return, and then the Otana and other enemies of the Jahina will no the meaning of death, and suffering...
-------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, sneaking along the edge of the jungle, the lion was making his way, still trying to get a better idea of the land. He had come across a small group of females, and had been watching them argue, then fight when a black one came along. Now that the other female was gone, things had calmed down. Throughout the events that had unfolded he had stood by watching, hiding himself, to the point where thankfully, he hadn't been seen, yet anyway. He had been tempted to step in especially when the fight escalated, but remaining hidden had it's advantage also. One of the Females had spoken to a male from the Jahina pride, and she mentioned Legacy's name. <Heh, this is allll to easy...> He thought as a grin appeared on his face, and he slowly backed his way into the dense jungle foliage. All that was left was to track down Legacy... And there were several ways which he could take... But which one...

Katakasha walked annoyedly deep into the jungle. She had a frown on her face, her eyes were flashing dangerously as she walked. The red mane on her back was all messed up, filled with dead leaves and some pieces of grass. "Idiots..." she muttered, falling again to her old habit to discuss with herself. "All of them are idiots... No respect at all, putting their noses to other's business..." The black lioness lifted her head up to the tree tops. "Why can't one even fight without some other jumping in!" she growled angrily at the trees, startling some birds that flew high up to the sky.
Kata kept going like this, muttering all sorts of things to herself while she walked. From time to time she stopped to snarl to a tree, to growl at a rock, to shout something to a bush. She then finally came to the river at Jahina land's borders. She walked to it, looking at herself. "Pfft... Great..."
She dug her head underwater, blowing air out of her lungs, causing bubbles to rise to the surface. When she lifted her head again she examined the wounds on her face. "Hmph... Weakling she was... No goow scars or anything... Where is this world going?" She sat down, watching her face closely. She lifted her other front paw, extending a claw and skratching some dry blood away from her fur. "No bad wounds... A scar would've been nice... Maybe going across the eye? Or lips?"
Kata placed her paw down, standing up and walking to dry land. She shook the water out of her fur and streched herself a little. "No broken bones... Weakling she really was... If I got to fight another like her, I'm so gonna die to boredom." She let out a sigh. "Better head off to the Otana's again" she said. "I need to bring the info for Legacy, after all..." She headed to the Otana lands once again. "Ah yes... Legacy..." Her eyes narrowed slightly. "What to do with you... Pride leader whose pride has no idea he was in a fight, no idea of he's alive or not..."

Gargoroth looked at the lioness who had mentioned Legacy. He had never seen her before, but she obviously was familiar to the pride. He looked to the ground momentarily, wondering if he should tell his newly required information. Looking up, he decided that he should.
"Legacy, from what I've heard, is dead." He didn't say anything else, just waited to hear or see any reaction from this news.

Her eyes looked away from Gargoroth they went to the floor as she took in the news...so he was dead.....she never thought we would have died...he..had that aura around him of invincibility. She sighed deeply, although she had never been close friends, she had seen him lead from afar....she didn't even think she had ever really spoken to him...Her a lowly member, at the bottom of the pecking order to The leader of the pride... She shook her head and came out of her daze.
"Thats.....truly terrible" her eyes not focusing as her head was buzzing again, before slowly looking back at Gargoroth "And your sure...i mean...well...how?"
She asked as indiscreetly as possible...he would probably not share such information with a non pride member....she wasn't to sure if she should let on that she too was once Jahina...it raised alot of questions...but then if all the old pride were dead....

Tef smiled faintly at Fire when she questioned Kisima about "the plan". The liopardess didn't say anything, just kept walking. She gazed around the dark savannah, seeing nothing interesting around. On the other hand, she had't really expected to see anything interesting...
A sigh escaped Tef's muzzle. She had a rather blank expression on her face now. It was hard to tell if she was depressed or sad... It seemed as if all feelings had suddenly faded away from her face. The liopardess lifted her head. "Seems we've reached the caves..." she said, seeing the den of Otana pride just ahead. She glanced around a bit nervously, not seeing other lions though. She flattened her ears, remembering something Legacy had told her earlier. So this is where mom... Tef shook that thought away as quickly as possible. The last thing she needed was to fall back into her depression.
So, Tef just walked a bit ahead, glancing into some caves. A few of them were empty, but then she came to a cave where someone was inside. She stopped at the entrance, regognizing the lion to be Kiala. "Kiala!" she shouted out, a smile appearing to her face. Tef glanced back at Fire to see if he was following and walked inside. "How are..." she started, changing her mind then about what she'd say. "I mean... You ok?"

Uvumi had kept her peace during the exchange, the only movement in her tail, its tip waving in the air restlessly. Frowning, she listened to the others speak of things she didn't understand, lions she didn't know. She would have to find out, one way or the other. Standing, she shook herself as the pair became aware of her again.
"Excuse me for butting in," she said unapologetically, "but just who is this Jahina pride you keep going on about?" Perhaps not the best way to enter a conversation, but Uvumi didn't feel particularly friendly today....

Gargoroth was about to answer the question about Legacy the best he could, but the other lioness decided to interupt. So she didn't know anything about the pride that he belonged to. He suddenly regretted coming to speak with these beings, getting annoyed already.
"The Jahina pride is who's land you are on, my dear." His tail flicked back and forth idely behind him in responce to his boredness and annoyance. He then turned to the cream colored lioness. "Legacy," glancing at the other, "...the former leader of the pride..." turning again to Cova, "has not been seen for a day or so, at least not by me, and I've also been recently told by another that they saw his dead body." He didn't want to mention that she was from Otana, just incase these lionesses knew anything about the war.

Kiala had been watching out of the cave, waiting for any of her pride members to return. She was beginning to get worried, but soon saw Tefnut, Kisima, and Fire emerge from out of the jungle. A smile appeared on her face, glad to see that they were alright. As they got closer, Tefnut recognized her and spoke. "I'm..fine, I suppose." She wondered if she had heard about the fight between Mino and Legacy, but judging from the way her eyes seemed to be bloodshot and the way she approached the question, she figured that she had. She looked back to Fire and tilted her head a bit. "Fire, where's your brother?" She looked out over the lands, just incase she could perhaps get a glimpse of him. "I haven't seen him in a while..."

"I......see....."
She made a dis-happy sigh and hung her head, thinking times passed and kinda jumped when she realized that the Lioness who she had seen fighting was upon them, a group of 4 now..not-one knowing much about the other...all with their own secrets..Cova was not sure what to do next, where else was there...This Lion did seem to have been irrittated by thier presence..and he did seem to know more than he shared. She didnt think this was the path to re-anounce her home-comming. Cova bowed to Gargoroth in repsect for his time and answers
"Thank you..."
Backing off to look over at the lioness who had joined herself and Azure.
"i..hmm think we had better move on..."

This was a strange thing: the foursome standing there, and none of them having met the others before. It seemed.... Uvumi shook her head. 'Fate' was not a word she liked, preferring instead to make her own choices in life. But this meeting almost had to be more than a coincidence. She listened to the male, Gargoroth, give his answer, then sniffed disdainfully. "I could have guessed that," she retorted, “and you know it.” He seemed annoyed, not happy at the events unfolding around them. Well, that was fine; she wasn’t overjoyed herself. But, a stranger, with no idea of the lands around her, she needed help of some kind…if only she knew what she needed. “You and she ” -- Uvumi nodded at Cova -- “are pridemates, but you don’t know each other. How can that be, hmm?”
Cova spoke before he could answer. "Moving on?" Uvumi echoed. "I thought you said these were your lands,..or were you lying to me?" She snarled then, tail poised in the air, waiting for an answer. And hopefully, someone would shed a little more light on this conversation.

A quizical eyebrow raised at this new knowledge. "So you're a Jahina?" Gargoroth asked, turning to Cova. This was interesting. He wondered why she hadn't said anything before and also why he had never seen her before. So that's why she knew about Legacy. In his mind, he figured that she had left the pride, and perhaps this is why she had not said anything. Knowing Legacy, he could imagine the harsh punishments that would await a returning pride member. Smiling a bit, he nodded his head.
"If I'm correcting in thinking this, you have been away?" Before allowing for her to answer, he bowed his head again. "Welcome home then. Perhaps instead of leaving, you would want to come back to your own lands to stay?" He didn't know why she was back or why she had left in the first place. He figured he'd try to be as hospitable as possible, what with the pride needing a new leader...or so he thought.

Azure watched as the other lioness came over to them. She listened to Gargoroths last words. She let out a deep sigh. "Well i best be on MY way then, since you all seem to belong to a pride.." She mumbled, but clear enough for them to understand, and hear. She turned and started walking away in silence, with her head low and her ears flattened. 'Guess i'll have to find some new friends then..' she thought sadly to herself.

She ground her teeth as Uvumi spoke, clearly she was far to intrusive into others affairs...just what she needed, she had alot to hide and had better watch her tounge. She looked slowly at Uvumi and raised an eye.
"i didn't lie"
she lyed
"and theres no need to get upset...i..just dont tell strangers everything..you understand.."
Eying where Azure had now began to walk off whilst bombarded by questions at the same time, Cova was not really one for fighting, she was usually more concerned with other things rather than petty squabbles but the Panther walking away DID seem to care, and had indeed put this lioness on the floor before. She took a step back from the angry female to look over at Gargoroth. He had an uneasy smile across his muzzle and spoke of her coming back all of a sudden.
"even...though i left?..."

"don't tell strangers everything huh?"
Uvumi sneered, watching Cova step backwards, clearly trying to avoid confrontation, She shook her head and glanced at the male, if it was true they were in the same pride...then she herself would have to deal with another male..something she didn't fancy trying just now..so covered this fact up by pretending not to care and turned to leave, spying the black panther again who had just began to leave, smirking and padding after her. Uvumi had not forgotten about HER.

"My brother left... after the fight between Mino and Legacy... He felt as long as the two of us were seperated and with good cover that we could not be harmed by Kata." Fire said with a nod. He also grew a smile on his face when he got a view of Kiala's face. He gives a welcoming bow to her and then sits down in the cave with a relaxing sigh.

Tef lifted an eyebrow to Fire's reply. His brother had just left? That was odd... But then again, Tef didn't really know Akida well, so maybe it wasn't that odd after all. A sigh escaped the liopardess' muzzle. She gazed outside, taking then Kisima down from her back and placing the cub down on a soft spot near the wall of the cave. She smiled at the cub. "Try to get some sleep, little one" she said to Kisima, turning her eyes to the entrance again and to what she could see outside.
It was still dark... How long had the night been? Tef didn't know. To her, the night had seemed endless. Too much had happened, way too much for her. Without her noticing, she flattened her ears slightly as a sad expression appeared to her face.
Katakasha finally came out of the jungle. "SO boring to come out, go in, come out, go back in and then come out AGAIN!" The black lioness took a deep breath, digging her claws to the ground. "Calm down, Kata..." she continued, using a softer tone this time. "You keep noise like that and those nasty lil' weaklings surely will know you're here. We don' want that, do we?" She streched her neck. A smirk rose to her muzzle. "That's better."
And with that, the black lioness headed to the savannah. She was on the Otana territory once again. Maybe she should go and take a look at the Otana Den? 'Oh yes... That'll be PERFECT!' she thought as the smirk was replaced with a grin. She kept herself down, sneaking in the tall grass, heading to the direction where the Otana Den was.

Kisima smiled and nodded. "I will Teffy.." She said and yawned. She closed her eyes and turned onto her back, with her paws up in the air. She slowly drifted off to sleep. She dreamt of those couple of hours ago when her and Fire had been playing hide and seek. She was in the cave made of rocks, awaiting for her play mate to find her. That was when the black lioness came.

Back in the cave, Legacy stirred from his sleep. His sense taking a few seconds to kick in as his eyes slowly blinked open. "Ugh... Back so soon Kata?" He said as he sensed another was in the cave. "I'm sorry... Kata isn't here right now, would you like me to give her a message for you?" Said a voice in reply to Legacy. One that was so familiar, it sent a shiver down the great lions back. <No, it can't be!> Stumbling to his feet, he turned and looked up to see a black lion standing in the doorway of the cave. "Wha-what are you doing here?" Legacy stuttered as he took a step back. "You can't be real, you're just a figment of my imagination..." The figure smiled at Legacy with a grin as it took a step forward. "You're? Legacy, is your perfect clear speaking failing you?" The lion chuckled to himself as he scanned Legacy over. After a moment it walked up to Legacy and stopped a foot or so away from his face. "What do you want?" Legacy said in what could only be described as a scared tone of voice. "Lets talk outside shall we? The clear air is much better then that of this damp cave..." The lion said as it grabbed Legacy by the neck and flung the lion outside of the cave against a tree, before following and walking outside. When Legacy hit the tree it was enough to crack the tree slightly and for the unbreakable tyrant to let out a roar of pain. The other lion sat down as it watched Legacy plummet to the ground. "You..." "Ah ah, manners Legacy..." The lion interrupted before Legacy could curse him. "Is that anyway to treat your brother?" The lion said as he stood up and stepped into a beam of moonlight, which light up his appearance showing his yellow mane and eyes so bright they seemed to have an essence of something almost un-natural. "I have no brother!" Legacy spitted back. "When I left home I did so in the hope I would never have to set my eyes on your ugly face again my dear Pulsar..." He continued as he forced himself to lie upright and face Pulsar. "What is it you want Pulsar?" He knew his brother wasn't the type to hunt down someone over a small little grudge or conflict. "You've eluded me for too long Legacy, and now that I've found you, you are coming back with me..." Pulsar replied as he looked down at Legacy watching a slight look of horror wash over the lions face. "You are to weak to offer resistance to me. There isn't anything that will save you this time 'Dear' brother..." Pulsar said demonicly as he slowly stood up and started making his way over to his brother.

Azure was walking along silently. She jumped when she heard a noise. She turned her around to see Uvumi. "Oh. It's you.." She said and let out a sigh. "What do you want? Come to yell at me for saving your life again?" She asked, slightly angry and slightly annoyed.

Tef heard Kisima's reply and looked at the cub momentarily. She watched as the cub drifted off to sleep, wishing she could do the same. But for some reason, even though she was tired... She couldn't fall asleep. Tef looked at Kiala and Fire momentarily before standing up. "I.. I'll go sleep outside" she said quietly. "I feel I'm not home inside caves... Must be because my mom..." She sighed. "Anyway" Tef continued. "Good night to both of you..."
With that, Tefnut walked outside the cave, taking a look around the area. The savannah wasn't what she was used to. After all, the Jahina Den was right next to the jungle, trees were growing on some of the caves. That had been a comfortable place for one who loved trees. But this...
Tef walked a bit away from the cave entrance, hopping on a fallen tree which seemed to have been dead for some time. Maybe a storm had made it collaps. The liopardess laid down, placing her head on her paws and looking at the jungle in the distance. "This isn't my place..." she whispered, lifting her head up to look at the stars momentarily. "I wish you were here. Both of you. I don't know what to do anymore. Life seems so meaningles to me now, I could aswell just... die."
Tef let her head fall down and stared at the ground. She then placed her head back on her paws, returning her gaze at the jungle. She stared at it for a moment before closing her eyes and trying to fall asleep.
What Tef didn't know, however, was that she'd been watched. In the tall grass just a few meters away from the collapsed tree, Katakasha was watching the liopardess. The purple eyes of hers were cold and her claws she had dug into ground.
'Interesting...' Kata thought. 'You indeed are an interesting creature, my dear. And a weak point to Legacy to. Ooo, you should've seen his face when I told him what I had said to you...' The black lioness grinned. 'Indeed... That would've been worth seeing...
Kata crawled away from the cave, keeping herself hidden for a while before she was far enough not to be spotted from the cave. She stood up and shook the twigs and dust away from her fur. Then she looked at the Otana Den. "Weak pride..." she muttered aloud. "Weak pride full of weaklings... They don't seem to have a leader, which would be something interesting to tell to Legacy." A smirk rose to her muzzle when she started walking towards the jungle once again. "Oh yes... A few interesting things to tell him about the Otana's..."

Uvumi sneered at Azure’s back as the panther went on her way. “Have fun, yourself,” she said. Stupid creature, really. Tempted to follow the panther and antagonize her some more -- the creature was rather easy to rattle -- but that would just be wasting her time. She instead decided to revisit the Jahina lions. She swore under her breath; they were not her first choice of companions, but she had nowhere else to go. Not knowing anyone else, even enemies must be sought out sometimes, much as she hated it.
Frowning, she walked back to the pair and remained standing. “Enjoying ourselves, are we?” she asked.

"All right, Tef. Have a good rest." Fire nodded as he watched Tef walk over to a tree. It was good to see that Tef was using some alone time after she had a little breakdown with her emotions. More or less, it was a good chance to talk to Kiala as well. And since Kisima was sleeping, he wouldn't have any interruptions that he knew of.
He walked over to her and lay down on his front nearby Kiala. "What's been goin' on since I last saw you, Ki?" He also was wondering why the heck he called her 'Ki'. Oh well... Now that it was out, he was just waiting for her reaction.

Kiala smiled as Tefnut went outside and the cub settled down in her sleep. She was extremely glad not to be alone anymore, even though she had been almost her entire life. As Fire came over to lay next to her, she was taken aback by the nickname. Blushing slightly, she decided to just let it pass without saying anything. Besides, she couldn't be uptight and frightened of everything, especially of becoming close with her pride members.
She went to answer Fire's question, but suddenly stopped. Should she tell him about Gargoroth? She felt as if she shouldn't but knew that she should. "I went for a walk to clear my head." Looking down, the sight of Mino and Legacy lifeless on the ground re-entered her mind. She shook the thoughts out, not wanting to break down again. "I...I happened to come to the Jahina land unawares. Gargoroth stopped me."
She then remembered the change in his face. He was kind behind his tough exterior. She had actually confided her feelings with an enemy, something she didn't even do usually with friends. "He...he's changed." She looked down to Fire, a slight smile on her face as she remembered. "He didn't even try to kill me. In fact, he seemed kinder, like he didn't want to be in this war any longer." She looked out of the cave as she thought of the other lion she ran into. "When I came back, there was a strange lion close to our den. He said he was looking for his brother, but I don't know who he was talking about." She wondered if Fire would be mad at her for letting him roam on their land, but let it pass from her head. There was nothing that she could have done to stop him. He looked as though he could kill her with one swing of the paw. "He headed off toward the jungle, so I don't know where he is now."
__________________________
Gargoroth smiled as best he could at the lioness. "Yes, even though you left. I'm sure the pride will be happy to see you upon your return." He chuckled a bit as well. "Besides, with Legacy gone, I don't see anyone punishing you for your actions. I surely won't."
Before Cova could respond, the lioness from before showed up again. Gargoroth liked her attitude, even if she seemed to be a bit on the rude side. She reminded him of himself in a way. "It's been quite enjoyable." He chuckled a bit again, glad to have contact with others again. "Why have you left the company of your panther friend?"
