Uvumi was glad to see the lioness leave, but she had this...feeling that they would meet again, somehow. It didn't really matter; now she was left with a panther who was seemingly annoyed with her. She grinned. "So sorry if I've offended you, my dear." Not really sorry, but, well.... "You're the first panther I've seen all day -- and the last one I want to see. Like I said, look somewhere else." Then she knelt and took a cool drink from the now-vacant stream, still on edge and waiting for the panther to answer.
(OOC: Sorry for the short post -- writer's block struck home! Ooh, I just love playing a rude and sarcastic character, for once, lol.)

Azure smiled at the lioness as she walked off. "Thankyou.." She said politley. She then turned to the other lioness when she started speaking. "Thanks..." She said this thankyou with a plain tone. She turned and started walking in a different direction from which she came and from which the other lioness had just taken. "Goodbye..."

Katalasha watched as the other lioness left and then followed the panther with her gaze. She grinned slightly, looking at the panther as long as she could see her, then turning to look at the remaining lioness who apparently was taking a drink from the river.
Kata's grin grew wider.
"Very dangerous to leave your back unwatched like that..."
The black lioness stayed invisible to the other for a moment before she stepped out from the shadow of the trees and walked out closer to the lioness. Her claws were extended, as usually, and her red mane swayed from side to side as she walked. The evil grin was still on her face.
"How easy it would be to one to just jump on your back..."
Kata knew she was on the mission to seek information.. To scout. But she couldn't just pass this opportunity to meet another lioness like this, to surprise her.

Uvumi looked up hurriedly from her drink, struck with surprise and anger. Who dared disturb her? Her eyes flashing with anger, she faced the sarcastic newcomer. "You should have, then, instead of showing yourself..you're a fool, like that one who just left." She smiled with malicious intent, releasing her claws again, all business. "Perhaps I should beat that out of you?" she asked, still angry.
(OOC: Gah! No...I can't seem to make long posts right now! I guess they're not needed, though.)

Katakasha bursted to laugh when she heard this. Her voice, yet again, was really high, and the tone of her laugh was evil.
"You?" she said after she calmed down, a smirk on her face.
"You are going to do... what?"
Her smirk grew into an evil grin that showed her sharp teeth.
"You have no idea who you're dealing with... I do not suggest you do that with me. You may threat someone else, but to me it won't work..."
She grinned and took a step closer.
"By all means, go ahead and attack me... If you really believe you will win that fight... For if you don't, you shall find yourself lying dead, vultures feasting with your body..."
Deep in her mind, Kata chuckled, waiting to see what the lioness would do.

Uvumi briefly pondered her options...this lioness was obviously mocking her, spoiling for a fight, and Uvumi was eager to give it to her. Threats meant little; kingdoms were carved with teeth and claws, and she had no illusion about her prowess in a straight-up fight. "Feed me to the vultures?" She laughed, a harsh sound. "I hardly think so." She sprang before the words left her lips, snarling and leaping for the other lioness, intending to shove her mocking words and grin down her throat.

Cova remembered little from round these parts...she looked behind her to see The figures of two Lionesses fighting..she smirked...nothing changes...seeing the Panther advancing behind her..she decided to wait for her...she never was much of a fighter...She liked company..and had missed it..The panther had seemed so...nice.

Azure watched as the lioness infront of her stopped. She padded up to her and smiled. "Long time, no see.." She said with a sarchastic tone. She looked around. "You in this 'pride' ?" She then added on, curious of whether the lioness was in the pride who's lands Azure was walking on.
( argh.. i seem to be having trouble posting these days.. )

Katakasha's grin didn't fade when the other lioness started her attack. She Stood on her hind legs, letting the other one to push her down to her back and then pushed with her hind legs, using the other's movement to throw her away from herself. Then she quickly stood up and turned around, waiting to see what the other lioness would do next.
"That all you can do?" she asked, still grinning. The look in her purple eyes was challenging. Her tail swayed slightly as her head lowered to a defending position. She could play with this other lioness a bit... Before actually starting her own attack.

Uvumi was surprised by the other lioness' throwing move, but she wasn't ready to quit, still angry on the inside. She leaped forward, feinted a move to the left, then rammed full-force into the other's flank, pushing her away. Uvumi roared and lunged, claws digging into the back of her opponent.

An angry growl escaped from Katakasha when she was knocked down and felt the other lioness' claws in her back. But she did not complain. The pain was meaningless, she had learned that over the many years of killing others.
Kata dug her hind legs to the ground and pushed with them, lifting herself up and standing momentarily at her hind legs. She turned around and slammed her front paws down to the other lioness' side, knocking her away from herself. She then pounced at the other one, trying to reach for her eyes and ears with her sharp claws.

Uvumi twisted her head away from the tearing claws, trying to keep her vital areas safe. "A bit nervous, are we?" she hissed, grappling with her rival in a desperate fury. She sunk her teeth deep into a reaching arm, wincing a bit as the other arm hit the side of her head, but not letting go. She had a feeling that losing would mean death, and that was not something she was ready to face.... (OOC: Maybe we should wait for others now?)  |

(Yeeeeaaah.. For those who can barely make it to the computer without passing out from exhaustion...XD)
Fire sighed a little as he knew Tef was undoubtedly right. Even though Legacy was a cold lion, he wasn't chilled to the core. Otherwise, it wouldn't be.. normal.
"But Tef... He chose to rebel against us when we wanted to help build a better community... He only wanted what he wanted.. A selfish goal, at that.. You are pretty much nothing like your father from all of the years that I have known you. Even though you have your father's blood, Tef.. Your mother is living inside of you for everyone to see.. To know that she had a kind heart and never turned her back on someone in need. Tef, your dad means well when he says that he doesn't want you to be like him.. But, the only possible way for you to become him is that if you never had people that cared for you as much as your mother, your father... and myself, Tef." He smiles at Tef and nuzzles his nose gently to her cheek to wipe away some of the tears that were falling down. "We are all in this together... Including those that have passed away. They are watching us and smiling, even when we feel like we've hit rock bottom, because.. Those moments can only make us stronger, right?"

Tef smiled faintly to what Fire said. The look in her eyes was still sad, and they kept their dark green colour. But she still smiled.
"Thanks, Fire..." she muttered. She would have wanted to say something more, but her current state of mind prevented her from doing that.
Tef let out a sigh, taking a glance around. She was tired to cry all the time, too tired. She would need to rest, and think all this tomorrow.
"Could we head to the... caves?" she asked, looking at Fire again. It felt odd to ask such a question. She had not been part of a pride in a long time.
Kata flattened her ears, her eyes flashed dangerously when she felt the other lioness' teeth in her other arm.
"Get your jaws off me!" she snarled.
Kata had to do something to get the other's jaws away before she would doo too much damage. So, the black lioness did the first thing that came to her mind at that moment. She herself reached her neck and sunk her teeth to the back of the other lioness' neck, trying to knock her down with her weight.

Cova put on a brief smile as she had a companion to talk properly to after such a long time. She Nodded her head at all of Azure's questions, slowly looking forward and walking a bit with her.
"yes...long time" She sighed and sucked in alot of air.
"But im back now...i was once so proud to be here" stopping and swiping the dirt carelessly, looking down, pondering her thoughts before looking up.
"I guess i still am a part of the Jahina pride that roams through here" Looking to the Panther.
"I dont suppose you know where i might find some others? this terrain has evaded my memory im afraid"

"Sure thing, Tef." He said with a nod, getting up slowly and waiting for you to do the same, then slowly walking in order to wait for you to catch up with him to head for the Otana caves. It was a start at least for Tef to get over the whole incident that occured. Even though Fire was trying to be empathetic and sympathetic as best as he could towards Tef, he still felt like he couldn't help her as much as he wanted to. His best was all that he could do for Tef and time was probably the best thing that would be the 'cure' for Tef.

Kisima sat there with a angry/sad expression on her face. She watched as Fire got up and started walking in the other direction. This always happened to her. She finds a friend, then someone else comes into the story and she gets ignored and forgotten. She got up, still with a frown on her face and headed in the complete opposite direction of which Fire was heading in.

Azure nodded in reply as Cova spoke. But then the nod changed to a shake. "No sorry, i only just found this place myself, and i have only come across you and that.." She paused. "That.. other lioness." She rolled her eyes thinking of that certain lioness. She didn't like her one little bit.

Uvumi loosed her grip on the lioness' arm and thrashed her body about, trying to buck the dark devil and remove her tearing jaws from their death-hold. She snarled and hissed, finally twisting on top of the attacker upside down. She reached over her head with both paws and grasped the head, slashing at it viciously with her claws...she had to force the other to let go of her neck, or she wouldn't be able to fight much longer.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the lioness she'd confronted earlier and the panther she'd told off so rudely, seemingly conversing together. Uvumi growled a curse at the pair as she continued to struggle.

Azure heard a noise and turned around. She saw Sitama and another lioness. "I'll be back.." Azure said to the lioness without looking at her. She ran down to where the fight was going on and grabbed the unknown lioness, hauling her off Sitama. 'Hopefully this'll show her how nice i really am..' Azure thought to herself staring at Sitama, but ready for the unknown lion to attack her aswell.

Katakasha growled angrily when she was hauled away from the other lioness. She stood up, small wounds all around her face. Some blood was dripping from them, but none of them was critical. She could taste her own blood in her mouth. Her red mane was all messed up after the fight and her tail swayed aggressivly from side to side.
Angrily, Kata glared at the black panther who had dared to come and stop her from killing the other lioness. If it wasn't for the panther, she would have succeeded.
Kata frowned.
"How dare you..." she snarled at the panther.
"You will pay for that!"
However, even though Kata was a good fighter and wanted to kill at that exact moment, she was not stupid. There were now two against her. Her eyes narrowed a little.
The black lioness turned to the other lioness, lifting her head a bit.
"You may aswell thank this little friend of yours for saving your life..." she said on a cold tone of voice.
"But mark my word... You better watch your back the next time you're alone."
With that, Kata turned and walked away, entering the shadows of the jungle and heading towards the Otana lands again. She had lost time in this fight, she knew Legacy was waiting the information. But on the other hand, she also knew she shouldn't hurry or others might think she was not a wanderer anymore.
Tef stood up and was about to start following Fire when she noticed Kisima heading the other way. Her eyes widened a little.
"Kisima..." she whispered, walking to the small cub and lowering her head to the cub's level.
"Would you come with me?" she asked, a slight smile playing on her muzzle.
"I'd like very much to have you with me..."
She looked at the cub with a pleading look in her eyes. There was something in this cub that she liked. Maybe the fact that she was so small. And Tef didn't want to let the cub wander around all alone.

Uvumi just watched her adversary walk off, a smile coming to her lips when she spoke. "I look forward to it," she said, loud enough for the other to hear; she was not unhurt by any means, but not badly injured, either. Turning to the intervening panther, now watching her with a docile expression, she frowned. "And you did that...why? I had it all under control, thank you very much, and I didn't ask for your help." The pounding of her heart had slowed by now, but she was still far from happy; and now, with nothing to really distract, she had to be figuring out her next move. And that other lioness was back now, apparently friendly with the panther...what a day!

she said to the panther as she darted back, supprised at how willing she was to help people she didnt know. Turning round to slowly walk back, but stayed on the other side of the stream as she saw an unknown Lioness slink back into the undergrowth.
"You okay?"
She called out directing her question to the Lioness who had just been attack.

The black panther stared in awe. "I did that because you were about to get killed.." She said, a little frustrated at the lioness. "You had it all under control? If it wasn't for me you wouldn't be standing in front of me right now." She said loudly. "Next time i'll let you suffer.." Az snarled at Uvumi, before turning in the other direction, where she had left Cova.

Kisima's ears perked up and her head swung back around as quick as possible when she heard a voice calling her name. The voice was that of Tefnuts. She smiled and walked up to her, rubbing against her leg. "Sure!" She said excitedly and waited for Tefnut to reply.

Tef smiled at Kisima.
"Great!" she said. "It's good to have you around, little one..."
She then gently lifted Kisima to her back. Then she started heading back to Fire who was waiting.
"You don't mind me carrying you?" she asked, lifting an eyebrow. "It's quite a long way to the caves, and you might get tired..."
Tef smiled at Fire when she reached him.
"Lets go then, shall we?"
Tef started walking, loking back at Fire. Her leg wasn't hurting that much anymore, but she still had to walk slowlier than usually.

Fire turned his head around once again to see Tefnut whispering into Kisima's ear, Fire being a little embarassed that he actually forgot about Kisima. But, when the both of them started walking beside him, he chuckles softly and then looks at Tefnut with a grin. "You know that I don't like it when you whisper... It's like you two like some kind of conspiracy group or something trying to get me.." He darts his eyes around playful like and then looked at Kisima. "Care to tell me the thing that Tef whispered to you, Kisima?"

Gargoroth had been pacing in front of the Jahina caves. He didn't know what he should do. He wanted to leave, to leave this sorry place and never think of it again. On the other hand, he sort of wanted to make things better, make up for the hurt that he had caused. He looked inside the cave at the lionesses inside. They no longer had a leader. They didn't even know that he wasn't alive anymore. Suddenly, he got the idea that he could become the leader himself, but soon shook the idea from his head. He had only been in the pride a short while, they would never allow for that to happen. Sitting, he peered out into the lands of the Jahina. That's when he first saw it. A group of others by the jungle's borders. It seemed as though two of them were scrapping, and wondered what was going on. He decided he would check it out for himself.
After a bit of walking, he finally approached the group. "Well well well...What do we have here?" It was hard for him to lose the tough talk, it was how he had always been. Afterall, he was very bitter about a lot of things, and it showed in his demeaner. He looked the, now, three females over. Two were lionesses, both of which he didn't recognize. Another had slipped into the jungle before he had arrived. He then turned toward the black one, a panther. He dipped his muzzle slightly before continuing. "I hope you know you are tresspassing on Jahina territory. I'd be careful if I were you."

Kisima giggled. "Not at all!" She replied to Tef. She then continued chuckling at Fire. "Oh she was just telling me her plan..." Kis joked. "Don't you worry.." She said and laughed, her tail swishing about in the air.

Fire nodded slightly and continued walking for a moment before perking an eyebrow and turning his head back to Kisima. "A plan?... And would this plan happen to involve me?... Cause I don't like being left in the dark." He chuckles softly and continues along walking looking at the cute cub on Tef's back.

Cova watched as Azure came up beside her, she wanted to mention out why she had gone to help, but she thought back herself long ago....she probably would have done the same thing...she closed her mouth and padded along beside her..it seemed The Other Lioness was still quite in shock...They headed back up the bank once again, the vast lands of Jahina territory Now faced them...or at least what used to be their lands.
She stopped suddenly as a large male seemd to be upon them in seconds...Azure kept going fr a few paces, leaving Cova stood still to watch as he commented to the panther about Jahina lands.......so she was right...and by his word he seemed to be a member of the pride....She had not seen him before, clearly new Lions had been drafted in...She held her tounge and listened in to who he might be.

Uvumi growled as the panther walked away, back to that...lioness; a rumble deep in her throat. "Fine," she muttered. "Just be sure it's not you who's suffering next time." She left the threat lingering in the air, glaring at both to let them know her words stood for both. Now she had to make a choice -- where would she go and what would her purpose be? That Cova was a member of a Jahina pride, she'd said, and their near-conflict would likely bar her from entering that[/] particular group. But there were obviously more than one such group in the vicinity; Uvumi would have to try and find one, she decided.
She was shaken out of her Reverie by the approach of the male. His attentions were directed to Azure, but, by his words, he seemed to be pat of the Jahina pride. Strange that he -- apparently -- didn't know Cova...Uvumi had always thought of prides as closer than that. But this wasn't her affair. She thought of slipping away quietly, unnoticed by the others, but with three of them, her escape might be taken the wrong way; letting out an audible sigh, she lay down, paws on her muzzle, waiting for someone to notice her so she could get away.
