*Prides Of The Savannah*

[Cova]

Cova stood there quite a gasped at what she heard...She could call herself Jahina again....she said nothing for the moment, just pondered on his words of not being punished due To Legacy's death....it crossed her mind she would rather be punished ad have him alive than returning with out an eyelid battered..
Uvumi appeared beside her once more, and she snapped out of it.

"Thad be..really awesome......"

needing time to find words so instead looked across to Uvumi waiting for hers.

[Katari]

Uvumi had to laugh. "My friend?" She laughed again at the absurdity of it. "I'm afraid you're mistaken there...we're hardly friends." Uvumi sat down and watched the male, Gargaroth, carefully. He didn't seem like a bad sort, but it was not her nature to be trusting. She did her best to ignore Cova, who, by the looks of it, would be returning to her old pride. Hmph.

"What's to become of me, then?" she asked Gargaroth. "I'm not one of you, after all, even if this" -- she glanced at Cova with distaste -- "secretive young lady is. But I have nowhere else to go." She was taking a chance here...and that was assuming she even wanted to go to their pride. But something in this meeting tickled her mind; she couldn't put her paw on it, but it felt...fated.

[Lorien]

A smirk grew on Gargoroth's face. "I care not what you do. I'll leave that up to your own devices." He chuckled slightly, wondering if this would get an edge out of the lioness. "You may follow if you wish, but don't blame me if you do not recieve a warm welcome." He stood up, ready to head back to the cave so he could converse with Cova about some of the goings on of the Jahina. He was still new to the pride and didn't know all of their customary ways. Besides, if he wanted to become the leader, he was going to have to get on the good side of the members. That, and the night was beginning to take a toll on him. He was tired.

"Or...you could cross the border and go among the weakling Otana. I'm sure they'll greet you with open arms." He sighed slightly, looking in the direction of the Otana pride. "You might not last long there, being our enemy." He looked back to Uvumi, the smirk still on his face. He then glanced at Cova. "Shall we be heading home? The night air is quite chill, and I'm in need of some shut-eye."

[Cova]

Cova wrinkled her nose up at the look she got From Uvumi, Stepping to go with Gargoroth.

"Well...i certainly will be joining you Gargoroth...in fact it would be a pleasure."

Now dragging her view away from Uvumi to look out on the lands that were once again open to her....She really had high hopes for things to come..she had alot of questions to ask...But things always were better knowing you had a pride to watch your back. She certainly had missed that feeling. Now stepping away from the group, a smug sense of satisfaction about her as she looked back patiently waiting for Gargoroth.

[Fire]

Fire smiled gently when she saw the blush on Ki's face. "All right..." Fire was a little disappointed that Kiala would be oblivous enough to walk on the Jahina lands at this time. But, Fire was too busy trying to comphrehend what Kiala just said. Gargoroth? Nice? This was almost too good to be true in his opinion. Gargoroth was finally seeing the light in what was really going on.

But, there was also that possibilty that Gargoroth was trying to lure some of them into a trap and then backstab the group at their most vunerable point. Fire kept that in mind when he looked down at her with a smile. "So... He's finally come to his senses..." He said softly. "This other lion worries me, though... If only I could have met him..." He said as well.

[Katari]

Uvumi shrugged, and smirked at Cova. "I may as well," she muttered, dragging her tail on the ground. Then she looked over at Gargoroth. "Alright...lead the way." Wherever it lead for her...she needed to find out soon.

OOC: Ooh, teh shortness.

((OOC: Sorry if this seems long and boring.. I just felt like playing Kata a bit.. -.-))

Katakasha had almost reached the jungle. She would soon enough ebter it and find her way back to where she had left Legacy. The black lioness had a blank expression on her face.

Kata stopped by a small stream which seemed to come from the jungle. She lowered to take a drink from the stream, closing her purple eyes momentarily. She was unusually calm, not even speaking to herself aloud. The lioness sat down by the stream and gazed up to the sky, seeing stars at the night sky.

A flash of memory came to Kata. She saw herself as a young adolescent, talking with another lioness who was older than her. The lioness was black, the same way she was. But her fur didn't have any special markings. And her eyes were brown. The lioness was speaking to Kata.

"They say that the Great Kings and Queens are reborn as stars to the night sky, that they stand with us through our whole life, supporting when we have hard times. I don't believe that. I myself believe that the royals are not the only ones who get to the stars. I believe that a person with good heart will be reborn as a sparkling star. We all are good hearted, Kata. Our pride helps others. So if anything ever happens to us, we all will join the stars after our life here comes to it's end."

Kata shook her head a little, turning away from the stars. She thought about her memory, it refused to leave her mind.
"What has gone to you, Katakasha..." she muttered quietly, having a rarely seen unhappy expression on her face. "What made you turn into this... creature?"

Then she suddenly caught a scent of someone. The thoughts about her memories faded away as her usual blank expression appeared again. She trotted to the trees and hid behind them, waiting.
Then she saw it. Or her, in this case.
'Oh... It's HER...' she thought with a grin on her face. She saw Azure walking nearby. The panther was apparently alone, she must have left the lions behind.
Kata watched and waited in her hide, following the panther's movements with her eyes flashing slightly.

[Lorien]

Kiala looked out of the cave and into the night air. She wondered if Gargoroth was really sincere in his change or if it was a false placade. She shook her head as Fire mentioned wanting to have met the other lion. "I would have tried to keep him here, but something in his eyes..." She closed her own, imagining the large male she had met earlier. "Something tells me that he has ill intent. I didn't want to mess with it."

Gargoroth chuckled as Uvumi said that she would go with Cova and himself. "Very well then, this way." He followed after Cova and soon the three were on their way to the Jahina cave. He turned to Cova slightly as he walked. "So what made you come back from whatever you were running from?" He knew he was prying into things that were none of his business, but he needed to know these things if he thought he had a chance at running the pride.

OOC: Sorry for the short replies, not much is going on *shrug*

[Fire]

"And it's a good thing you didn't, Kiala... Thank you for that." Fire nodded to her and then faced in front of the cave with a serious expression. "Great... Another lion that we have to deal with... Why can't these problems just whisk away?..." Fire was getting depressed about the issue. He did wonder if there was anything worth fighting for in this battle. Why not let Kata just come and kill him now? It's not like he had much for support... Kiala was an unknown as to how she felt about him and Tef... Tef was definitely in the clouds on this one. It all just made him want to quit right now.

[Cova]

Cova Looked back to see Uvumi following..She looked back again to where they were walking, a quizzical look on her face as she wondered how she Got the impression she was invited. Deciding to ignore it she looked across to Gargoroth and gave a feebled smile.

"well..its long really...Stated with...pride relations...basically i needed to get away" looking away from him

"Im happy to be back, but there seem to be so few left...so much seems to have happened....and what of Otana?"

[Buhtear]

(OOC: I hope I`m not intruding on the topic but I didnt know where else to post)

Buhtear had been wandering around for quiet some time. He was hot and hadn`t eaten in a long time. His big blue eyes saw others. A happy smile spread across the cub`s face as he used the last bit of energy he had to get to them. He quickly picked up his little paws and began to run twards him. His silver tuft of a mane flaped about in the air.

One of his paws hit a rock and he tumbled to the ground very close to the others. When Buhtear sat up his little mane was a mess. he used one of his paws to straiten it out. He looked at the lions before him. He , being the way he was thought they seemed like a very nice bunch.

"Hiya , My name is Buhtear,"He said in a bit of a rush,"Whats yours?"

Azure had been sitting nearby the group the whole time, trying to think of something to do next. Her dark fur had been blending into the darkness in the bushes near them. A little cub landed not too far away from her. He introduced himself as Buhtear. He thway.en asked a question, which obiously wasn't directed at her, since no one knew she was there, but she stepped out of the darkness and introduced herself anyway. "Azure..." She said and smiled down at Buhtear. "Nice to meet you little one.."

[Kirsui]

Katakasha followed the happenbings in front of her eyes from her hide in the shadows of the jungle. She saw a cub appear in front of the panther.
'Interesting...' she thought, a frown on her face. The panther wasn't important to her. Not that much anyway. She could maybe revenge to the panther the way she had interrupted the fight between Kata and Uvumi.
But that could wait.

Slowly, Kata backed away from Azure and Buhtear, heading into the jungle. She glanced up to the sky which she could barely see between the leaves.
"Suppose I could use some sleep tonight too..." she muttered.
"After all, Legacy can wait for a moment... I think..."

So, Kata picked up a tree nearby. She had learned to climb up on trees when she had belonged to her pride.
"My pride..." Kata muttered as she started climbing up to the tree.
"My pride was nothing..."
She laid down on a branch and yawned slightly, getting ready to fall asleep.

[Buhtear]

Buhtear`s head followed Kata as she had exited. His little head spun back around and faced Azure once again. He had a smile on his face that could light up even the darkest house. Alone , he was , but never far behind happiness.

"Nice to meet you Azure,"Buhtear said , smile remaing,

He had turned most of his attention to Azure. She was the only one that had greeted him and hadn`t left yet. His big blue eyes stayed on Azure. One of his ears flickered about. He adjusted where he sat , watched , and waited.

[Lorien]

Kiala looked at Fire as he spoke, and then continued to glance upon his face after he was finished. There seemed to be something troubling him, but Kiala couldn't tell what and most certainly didn't have the guts to ask. So, she just looked outside into the cool night air, a slight sigh escaping her. What was to become of all this. She then noticed Tefnut once again and turned to Fire. "Has she...joined Otana?" She hadn't been around when most everything had happened, and she wanted to know what was going on with the members of her pride.

Gargoroth shook his head at the mention of the few members being left. "It's the same both ways. The war has taken a great toll upon both prides and few members remain." He glanced at the quickly approaching Jahina cave, glad to finally almost be there. "Otana seem to be out of leadership and especially with the loss of Mino, they seem to be very broken up." He looked to the ground, remembering the look on the young Kiala's face when he had seen her last. She seemed so hurt. "This war is tearing at everyone's hearts. I'm not sure how much longer it will last with Legacy out of the picture."

[Katari]

Uvumi followed behind the "reunited" pride members, a small smile on her face. They didn't mean much to her, but she'd always wanted to see what pridal life was like, and, well, why not give it a try here? After all, the male seemed non-threatening...and Cova she could tolerate for the time being.

[Deleted]

Azure smiled at Buhtear. He was a polite, young cub. "Are your parents nearby?" She asked him curiously, it was dangerous out here, she knew that already, even though she hadn't been out here that long. She continued to smile at the cub, his big blue eyes smiling back at her. He was rather cute.

[Cova]

Cova saw the greyish rock appearing that had been her Home before....indeed it big storms it would let in rain due to its East fasing position...but the sun in the morning shone so bright it made up for it. She had indeed missed it, Looking over to Gargoroth to see him troubled and watching the ground. She glanced back at Uvumi before nudging her cheek against Gargoroth's neck to try take his mind of things.

"Hey...cheer up...now im back..i promise to not let this Pride down again..think of it as a promise in legacy's Honor...Cm'on"

She giggled and bounded off ahead to inspect the cave once more.

[Buhtear]

Buhtear`s ears went flat on his head. His head lowered. He seemed much different from his once polite self. He seemed .... sad.

"I....I dont know where my parents are..."He squeaked,"I havent seen them in a very long time."

His big blue eyes where swelling with tears. His mother had left him at a young age , he hadn`t seen her sence. he never really knew his father , saw him once but not much more than that. He whiped away the tears and his ears perked up.

"I`m sure they are always with me though."He said regaining his once happy self.

Azure's ears flattened. "Oh.. I'm sorry.. I.. I.. I didn't realize." She said apoligetically to Buhtear . A weak smile appeared on her face when he said his last words. "I'm sure they are." She replied as she flicked her yellow tuft out of her eyes. "Where are you off to then?" She asked him before adding " Mind if i tag along?"

[Buhtear]

The questions opend up his mind like a creaking door. He hadn`t beena sked that ever so he didn`t really know what to say. He was lost , but he wouldnt mind the company of another cat at all.

"I`m ... kinda lost ..."Buhtear said,"But ... if I figure out where I`m goin` your welcome to come with me."

He didn`t particularily like the way he said that. It was sort of ... stupid of him to just go out and say that he was lost. But , he didn`t want to lie about it , thats even dumber.

Azure smiled. "Well.. i don't have any idea where i'm headed either.." she added on. "Which direction shall we head in?" She asked the cub sweetly as her tail flickered about behind her.

(eek.. short.. i suppose thats what i get for only having 1 and a half hours sleep..)

[Fire]

Fire was confused for a moment as to who Kiala was talking to. But, when he saw the direction of her head aiming at Tef, he knew who she was talking about. "No... She's a wanderer now... I want her to join us so that I at least know that she has our backs in case she gets into trouble. But, with everything that she has been going through, I'd best leave her to make her own decisions..." He said with a nod and sat down beside Kiala.

[Katari]

Uvumi looked around the cave and its surroundings for a moment, a stranger among strange lions. She didn't know what had come over her to follow Gargoroth here; walking up beside the male, she frowned. "So, this is your home...." How nice...not for Uvumi, though.


OOC: Short, but she's been inactive for a bit.

[Lorien]

Gargoroth smiled lightly as he watched Cova bound off ahead of he and Uvumi toward the Jahina cave. He knew that he would never be that glad to return here, but perhaps that was because he had not been here more than a couple of weeks. The two latter slowly made their way and when he heard the female beside him speak. "It's home...though I'd much prefer sleeping out in the open." He sighed and looked around at all the other lions. He didn't particularly know them very well and they didn't know him either. The only one he had really known was Legacy and Bleak...and from what he knew, they were both dead.

Kiala continued to look out of the cave as Fire explained Tefnut's situation. "I...I feel so sorry for her." She looked to the ground as she thought about all that had recently happened to all of them. What was going to become of the war? Of their Pride? There weren't many of them left now...and she didn't know what they were going to do.

Kisima's eyes fluttered open. She had been dreaming. She couldn't remember if she had been sleeping or if it had just been a daydream. But it hadn't been plesant. She had been chased by that big scary lioness Kata. The lioness had taken a huge swipe for Kis when she had woken up. She jumped up from where she was and ran over to Fire, clinging to his front leg. She looked around worriedly, incase Kata was anywhere in site.

(OOC: Okay so it's a bit crap... but she had been inactive so... ;D )

[Cova]

Cova came to a slow paced trot as she poked her head inside the Cave once more. Memories of what had once flourished here rushed back, she sighed as she stepped inside again and inspected every nook and cranny of the place.
The slightest of depressed feelings around her as it was a bit dark inside...and seemed alot smaller than what she remembered.
Cova poked her head back out the door to watch the slow coaches slowly catch up.

[Fire]

Fire was busy looking out where Tef was when he felt something touch his leg and actually cling onto it. He looked down and saw the frightened Kisima clinging to his leg and holding close to it. He makes his head go down to Kisima and nuzzles her gently with his nose, using his other paw to hold her close. "What's wrong, Kisima?... Have a little bit of a nightmare?..." It actually felt good to know that Kisima was in his arms since he hadn't known where she was for the past while and it was nice to see her safe.

Kisima felt somewhat relieved when she felt Fires paw and heard his voice. She nodded in reply before murmering. "Yeah.." She tilted her head upwards staring up at him, her ears flattened. "In my dream, Kata was tryna hurt me." She said, still scared even though she knew it had all been a dream.

[Katari]

Uvumi snorted. So this male didn't appreciate company, either. "I know the feeling," she said tightly. Cova had gone into the cave, to reacquaint herself with her home; Uvumi had no desire to do the same. But, there was security here, at least for now. She may as well stay. Uvumi thought she had heard something of another pride. And that lioness, the one the panther had saved her from, had to have come from somewhere. Uvumi clenched her teeth angrily. She would just love to sink her claws in that one again! Controlling herself for the present, she again spoke to Gargoroth. "That other pride I've heard of...where do they live?"
