As Zorayda walked back to the den, Taro trailing behind her, she noticed that her leader, Fire, seemed to have just awoken from a long sleep. An eagle, whom she knew to be Degjammi, gracefully glided toward him.
Zorayda smiled. "Good morning, Fire," she said in a polite voice. Taro nodded his head once in respect, then lumbered into the den to sleep for a little while longer. He made it partway into the den, where the sun would still hit him, and curled up, turning himself into a ball of golden fur.
Zorayda flicked her ivory tail and shook some of the indigo fur from her eyes. "Any news?" she asked, directing her attention to Degjammi.

Degjammi bowed slightly in respect to her leader. She grinned as he spoke playfully with her, as he often did. It was a trait that surfaced frequently in his nature. He asked for any news to report, as did Zorayda, and she obliged to update them.
"Nothing of much significance this morning, sir," she replied with a grin, but her grin quickly faded as she remembered the difficulties of her night. "I attribute my distance from the pride to my difficulty sleeping again. The nest was not of much comfort, so I ended up in my usual place of vigil. It...served me," she said with a shrug.
Jammi then remembered the peculiar happening with the birds that she had witnessed this morning. "I did notice something strange before I returned. Something shook a tree violently and knocked it down a few miles north. Perhaps it was only an elephant, but the fact that it was in Jahina vicinity makes me skeptical." Degjammi found her face gently contorting to an angry expression. A simple thought of Jahina filled her with disgust.

Fire turned his head to notice Zorayda and Taro coming up near the cave that the Otana occupied, nodding to Taro and then smiling to the lioness. "Hey Zorayda.." He says with a nod and that warm smile of his before turning to the eagle and nodded in a sign that he understood. "Excellent.. And I am sorry to hear of your restless night.. I know all too well of those as of late..." He says with a slight sigh as he was recalling memories of the past, wanting to try and surpress them, but he knew that he couldn't.. not today, anyway.
Fire's ears perked up however when he had heard of a falling tree within the Jahina territory. "That's odd, considering that the herds don't usually go into the territory itself but stay along the borders of it whenever they can.." It was odd to say that a whole tree had fallen within the savannah considering that some of the trees are about the width of three lions head to snout. Yet... There had to be something that strong... something.. un-natural... No... He certainly hadn't hoped it was who he thought it would be...

Another meal lost. Asali collasped in the cool, damp shade of the tall grass, her mouth gaping open as she tried to regain her breath. Asali often found it difficult to catch a meal for patience wasn't something she had mastered before she was separated from her mother. She rolled onto her back, enjoying the still damp ground. Her amber eyes stare up into the ever brightening sky. Her mother had to be still alive, there was never any sign of anything else. Asali had just...lost her in the chaos, Her mouth opened wide in a yawn, turning now onto her side. The morning seemed so peaceful. No sound of any of the dangers that she had faced so many times before, Asali smiled to herself, the only thing that would make the morning better was if she had a nice tastey gazelle to snack on. Oh she had eaten the evening before but by the time this day was at its end, Asali would urgently need to feed again, especially if the day was full of more failed hunting attempts.

Deep inside the Jahina cave, toward the very back, a dark blue figure stirred. The wakings of the other pride members had woken the creature. A pair of piercing orange eyes opened slowly, squinting toward the mouth of the den. Daylight already. The large male lion stood up, slowly, and stretched out his limbs, a great yawn escaping his muzzle, his pearly white teeth gleaming in what little sunlight poured this far into the cave.
Gargoroth stood there a moment, taking in his surroundings. He had been the last to wake in the Jahina pride, just the way he liked it. It felt empowering to be the ruler of the territory. For a moment, the blood of his father surged through his viens, a wry grin coming to his countenance. What power it was to be the leader of a pride. But soon, as it always did, the trip left him, and Gargoroth was left with his normal views on leading the pride. Which reminded him that he needed to oversee things outside.
Slowly, the blue male made his way out of the den opening, closing his eyes to the penetrating light until they were used to it. He shook out his mane, now that he was in the open air, the even darker blue hairs swaying. He looked around at the other pride members, watching as the morning's hunting party treked out into the territory to make a fresh kill. Gargoroth licked his lips at the thought of a meal.
His eyes panned across the lands, finally coming back toward the den, resting on the clouded liopardess. He chuckled slightly at the fact that she was almost asleep, probably waiting for he himself to wake. He padded over to the rock that the female was perched upon and cleared his throat loudly.
"Tefnut, what have you to report to me this morning?" He knew this would wake her. He figured it would not be much, what with the peace going on. It was a lot less stressful to lead a pride when it isn't in war. ______________________________
Kiala walked slowly across the grasses of the Otana territory. She had finally learned every inch of her home. She made certain to steer clear of the battlefield of Mino and Legacy. A pain still tinged in her heart at the thought. One day, she would go pay her respects. But it was still to soon for her, too close.
Her walk continued, the fresh morning air easing Kiala's weary mind. Just breathing in the sweet smell of the grasses allowed the young female to let go of some of her worries. However, she was drawn from her mellow walk when her sensitive ears heard a rustling in the grass not too far from her. She peered through the blades to see, and the sight surprised her. She had not seen a cheetah in a long while, especially not a younger one.
Even though Kiala was the larger and stronger predator, she tensed in her tracks. She didn't know whether to approach it or simply ignore the other's presence. She decided it best to see what the other would do.

Asali's ears pricked, she shot to her feet. Just then, a rustle. She knew she had just heard something in the nearby tall grass. Keeping her eyes locked on the grass from which the noise came, she took a few nervous steps back. Predator or Prey? She knew the possible danger but she also knew that it could very well be something to eat.
Asali's nose rose into the air, breathing deeply, she tried to pick up any signs of what could be lurking in the brush. Her two sides fought for dominance in her mind. Should she run away and miss the chance of a meal? Should she stalk towards the sound and risk running into danger?
The young cheetah couldn't seem to make her mind click to do one or the other. She held her position, muscles tense ready to react if necessary.

Tefnut begun to pay less and less attention to her surroundings as she waited for Gargoroth. Oh she knew it had been a mistake to close her eyes, because as soon as she did so sleep begun to take over her thoughts. The stone was all too comfortable, and the morning sun was too warm, and she was just way too tired to resist falling asleep...
"Tefnut, what have you to report to me this morning?"
The liopardess was startled when her dream-clouded mind suddenly registered someone speaking so close to her. Her eyes shot open and her head rose up from her crossed paws, and with a few blinks and a slight shake of her head she tried to rid herself of the sleepiness. Once she was fairly sure she would not fall asleep in the middle of speaking, she turned her gaze to Gargoroth and smiled slightly. "There isn't much", she told him. "I didn't see anyone while I was out, and all Otana activity I could detect was focused on their Den area."
Tef paused and a troubled expression appeared to her face. Her ears flattened slightly and she turned her gaze from Gargoroth to the jungle. "There is still no signs of my father or Katakasha", she said with a lowered voice. "It worries me more than if they had been detected. They just... have been quiet too long, it's as if they both are up to something, and I'm not sure I like what they are planning." She shook her head, then yawned widely. She chuckled to herself. <So much so for hiding the tiredness then...> "Was there something else you wanted?" the liopardess asked aloud, turning to look at Gargoroth once more.

Taro's ears twitched as he listened to Degjammi's news, even though he was pretending to try to sleep. His heart felt so heavy...as a younger lion, he used to be a shy but optimistic lad. But now...the wars and fights and hatred had entered his soul, made him lose faith in felinekind. What was the point of living if all anyone ever did was make each other miserable?
Tears would have formed in his eyes, but Taro had cried so much that his heart couldn't find the will to create more. He would have been happy that the conflicts were coming to an end, but the happiness seemed to have been sucked dry from him.
"Thanks for the update, 'Jammi," Zorayda said, walking over to Taro. His body language--the way his shoulders were tensed and his legs perfectly poker straight and not relaxed, told her that something was wrong.
She didn't say a word, however--she just lay down next to him, pressing her back up against his belly. Taro put his head on her neck and put a paw around her side, grateful for this Heaven-sent lioness as his friend. They said nothing, but they both lie there awake and awaiting more news of the other pride tensely.

The red-maned lion looked over the land that was around the cave itself. The cave rested on a a slight higher rock which gave them a slight view of the whole expanse itself, the grass fluttering with the odd wind gust here and there. Fire took a deep breath into his nostrils and let the scent of nature flow through his senses, taking it into his mind and just letting his body relax. This would be probably the only chance he had to relax before there was the big "agreement" between the two prides... It wasn't going to be a violent shouting match between the two prides.. However, he just had this feeling that there was going to be big stalemates throughout the whole thing, and even "he" can only take debating for so long...

Gargoroth listened as Tefnut told him her reportings. Nothing new as he had expected. After all, hadn't the Jahina been the aggressor in the war? And with he as the leader now, attacks would not be put forth, even if there had not been a peace. He had seen what war torn prides amounted to when the war was over in his youth. The only thing left of the loser was lost land and lives. He silently cursed his father for his greedy nature, having made him watch and participate in the slaughterings when he was an adolescent.
However, his mind jumped back to what Tefnut was saying at the mention of Legacy and Katakasha. His face went stern, as he knew as well it would be better to hear from them than to not. After all, his life remained on a slender thread with the news of the Jahina's former leader still being alive. He had been part of Jahina's ranks long enough to hear some of the stories. The only hope he clung to if Legacy did show up and want his position back was that he was badly wounded. Gargoroth knew that he himself was strong, but he also knew that he was no match for the purple-maned tyrant.
"Was there something else you wanted?"
Gargoroth slowly turned his head to Tefnut, trying to keep his demeanor pleasant despite the air of doom on his mind. He smiled gently and shook his head slightly. "No, Tef, that will be all. Get some well deserved rest." _________________________________
Kiala wasn't surprised that the cheetah had not done anything. She herself wouldn't have budged either if she thought there could be a threat in the grass beside her. The charcoal-colored lioness took a step forward, slowly. She opened her mouth to speak, but being the timid being that she was, had to think out her words first.
"I'm not...going to hurt you..." She smiled slightly, trying to be the least intimidating that she could. "Y-you can come on out."

Asali's ears perked foward as someone from the brush spoke. The voice sounded friendly, but things can often be deceiving out on the savannah. She struggled to make her mind on what she should do, she swallowed the lump in her throat and very cautiously moved forward. She quietly stuttered, "Who-Who's there?"

"No, Tef, that will be all. Get some well deserved rest."
The liopardess smiled at Gargoroth, and formed the words "thank you" with her lips though she didn't trust her tired voice enough to speak those words aloud. She released one more wide yawn while she stretched herself, and then she pounced down from the rock and happily trotted towards the jungle. It was her habit to still sleep away from the pride, there, in the jungle, she would not feel so much like an outsider like she did when she was with her pride mates. And yes, though she knew it was slightly dangerous to go there alone, she still trusted her family relations to protect her from most of the harm.
Tefnut stopped trotting once she was out of hearing distance from the Jahina Den. She could still hear if someone would call her with a roar, but it was not often that she was disturbed while she slept. Perhaps they did not dare, fearing she might lash at them like Legacy...
Or, perhaps... Tefnut tilted her head while she was picking out a suitable tree to rest in. Perhaps it was Gargoroth's orders that she should be allowed her rest unless there was a great need for her assistance? She didn't know, she had not though to ask the new Jahina leader if it was so.
The liopardess smiled tiredly, and then swiftly climbed up to the tree she had chosen. She laid upon one of the thick branches in about mid way up the tree. She positioned herself there for a reason. She could easily see if someone walked by, but she would be difficult to spot from below due to the lower branches as well as her spotted fur.
Satisfied, Tef yawned once more and placed her head on her crossed front paws. Her tail hung down from one side of the branch, and her other hind leg hung from the opposite side while the other hind leg rested upon her side. She closed her eyes and prepared for sleep, knowing that she would not have to wait long until the sweet dream world would take her into an imaginary adventure.
The one last thought before she slipped into sleep was that she really should ask Gargoroth if he had arranged so that she could rest without any disturbance, and if it was so she should remember to thank him for it properly.
Katakasha was seething with rage. As if the idiot birds from before had not been enough to make her angry, she had accidentally wandered too close to an area where some apparently very territorial monkeys lived. Those stupid creatures had screamed at her, and then they had thrown various objects at her direction, starting from tiny nuts and fruits and ending with thick branches and even stones that some of those clever beasts had fetched from the ground.
As if that had not been enough, one of those cursed, flea-bitten fools had thrown her with a nest... a wasp nest.
Those little stingers had not been happy when their well-prepared nest had hit the black lioness and had gotten broken. No, not at all indeed. The only thing Kata could do was run, while the swarming insects flew after her and stung her where ever they could if they happened to get a grip of her body. The black lioness had jumped without any second thoughts into the nearest water source she could find, and she had instantly gone underwater and swam as far as she could. When her lungs finally begun to ache from having been underwater so long she surfaced and splashed to the shore where she panted and dragged herself out of the water with her frontal paws.
It had been only after she had regained her breath and stood up that she had noticed her reflection. She was dripping wet, like a drowned hyena. Her body was aching from where the wasps had stung her, and though she thanked her black fur for hiding most of them, on the lighter parts the stings could be seen clearly. Her mane, though sticking up like always, was messed up. Twigs and leaves had gotten caught on her mane from the objects the monkeys had been throwing, and she even got some of the water plants sticking out of her mane and dripping water down the parts where they touched her body. And even though she had taken a dive into the water she had bits and pieces of various fruits stuck on her body, and she only thanked her luck that those fruits had not dyed her lighter fur.
What had been the worst though was the fact that she had picked the worst possible water to dive into. She was almost completely covered in mud, and only the parts where those icky water plants dripped water on her were clear. The mud had already even dried slightly, and it was crackling when she made the slightest of movements.
And so she had roared in frustration and marched into the jungle. She was enraged, so much so that she wanted to kill the first thing that would come across her, no matter what it would be. And she needed a bath, badly, for the mud was very troublesome to carry around.
And so in this stage Katakasha still was in, marching through the jungle and looking for a water source, half wanting something to walk upon her and half wanting to be left alone.

"So what do you intend to do brother?..." Pulsar asked as he walked alongside Legacy, keeping a ever so slight bit of distance from his taller sibling.
They had been walking through the jungle for a good bit of time now, covering a fair bit of ground from the cliff they had been at. Legacy remained silent as they trekked along, pushing foliage and the like out of his way as he walked along. "You don't have a plan yet, do you?" Pulsar continued as he looked at Legacy, his brother still silent, a look upon his face as if he was staring intensely at something.
"I have plans, if that is what you wish to know...." The purple maned lion finally spoke, his voice calm and reinforced as it always is. "May I remind you dear brother that I have not forgotten what you have done, you tread on uneasy ground. I suggest you keep your nose out of my business lest you find yourself without one...." Legacy continued, his voice remaining the same. But Pulsar knew that Legacy was very serious in what he had stated.
"You can save the tough lion act for someone that gives a damn Legacy, it doesn't work on me...." Pulsar replied as he looked forward. "We shall see..." Replied Legacy as he glanced at Pulsar for a brief moment. There was a long silence between the two, had it been anyone else it might have been an awkward one, but the siblings were so accustom to the other that they hardly cared or noticed the silence. "Where is Kata" Legacy finally spoke in a rather annoyed voice. "Yeah, I figured we'd have run into her by now..." Pulsar added to the end of his brothers sentence.
Then suddenly, something rammed into Legacy's side. Something that hit with enough force as to make the large male have to reposition one of his legs in order to prevent himself from being nocked over. He had also let out a low grunt from when receiving the blow. Not something often heard from him.
"Who DARES walk into me!" Legacy said in a load voice, fuming at the fact that some pathetic little weakling had the galls to walk into him.
<Oh man, who ever did that is a dead lion...> Pulsar thought as he watched his brother.
"You!" Legacy snapped as he turned his head to see who had hit him, the you being a general reference to who ever it was. ".....Kata....." The purple maned male said in a low irritated voice as one of his eyes twitched slightly at the sight of who had hit him.
"What? you found Kata?" Pulsar said curiously as he poked his head around his brother to see. What he seen was Kata lying on the ground, no doubt from bumping into Legacy. <She must've been looking at the ground or something....> Pulsar thought as he looked her over. The feline was covered in all manner of things, from fruit to sticks to mud, even some items one would see in a water hole at the bottom.
"Uhmm, you sure that thing's Kata?" Pulsar asked curiously. "..... Indeed...." Legacy replied in a calmer voice as he relaxed a bit. The sight of Kata being enough to soothe his temper, it had seemed she had gotten what she deserved already....

Water... she could hear it... The sweet melody of flowing water that filled her senses and called her to wash off all this... mess those idiotic monkeys had brought upon her. Water, that was where she was headed, and it was so close already too, so close that she could almost feel the cool liquid brush her skin, so close that she...
...Bumped into something hard and was sent to the ground where she gathered even more dirt if possible.
Katakasha's anger flared up in that instant and without a second thought she pushed herself up from the ground. She extended her claws while her tail swooshed behind her like an angry snake that prepared to strike. An angry snarl played on her lips and her eyes narrowed into slits so that her only slight flashes of her purple irises could be seen.
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU PEOPLE WANT?!?!"
Her roar echoed in the jungle, scaring yet again a flock of birds to take flight from the trees nearby. Pretty much every other creature possible fled as well, and the jungle became awfully quiet.
It was then when her rage filled mind finally registered who exactly had cut her path. Her snarl paused and she froze completely for a brief moment when her gaze flickered from Legacy to Pulsar and then back to Legacy. But then her snarl returned, and it had intensified so that the snarl was more like a constant roar. She was not happy, not happy at all, that those two idiots were blocking her way to her sweet, cool bath.
"Out...of...my...way...now!" she snarled with bared fangs.

Both males watched as Kata let out a scream that would have scared most animals with half a sense that want to stay alive, but neither Pulsar or Legacy budged from their spots in the face of what could only be described as pure rage.
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU PEOPLE WANT?!?!"
"Uhmm..." Was all Pulsar replied as he looked up at his brother who was now frowning severely at Kata's attitude. Pulsar simply raised an eyebrow and watched to see what would happen, taking a step or so away from the two to keep a minimal safe distance should anything start.
"Out...of...my...way...now!"
Kata may have been annoyed beyond her threshold, but Legacy wasn't going to take such disrespect, even from her in the current state she was in. "You will watch your tongue Katakasha!" He spoke in a low fierce growl as he took a step toward her. His red eyes flashing as they glared down at her. "Or I shall I remove it...." The male added as his growl slowly faded away.
Pulsar unlike his brother had nothing to say on the matter. Besides, had he said anything he no doubt would have gotten himself dragged into it and taking the heat of rage from both Legacy and Kata was more or less like digging your own grave and burying yourself, while you're still alive. Of corse that'd come after Kata and Legacy made you wish you had never been born....
"I will not be spoken to in such a manor, not even by the likes of you...." Legacy's voice broke the moments silence. His eyes scanning her over, seeing the state that her fur, in fact, her whole body was in. "Now.... Go get washed and clean that filth off of you...." He continued as he flicked a piece of fruit from his fur that had been placed there when Kata bashed into him. "We have much work to do and I cannot have you walking around looking like a hyena reject...." With that the male recomposed himself and continued walking through the jungle untill he disappeared from view into the dense foliage.
"Phew... That's a bit harsh..." Pulsar finally spoke once Legacy had disappeared. "You ok, Kata?" He asked in a rather warm tone of voice as he cautiously took a step toward her. After all, Pulsar may have been similar to Legacy in certain aspects, but he wasn't completely heartless.
"Common, let's go get you cleaned up..." The male said as he pushed some vegetation aside with one paw. "There's a little spring this way, you can clean yourself off there" He continued as he motioned his head for her to follow him.

"Degjammi... Please come.. I have a task for you.."
The lion said to break the somewhat long silence that occured throughout the time that they were standing around. Once the eagle had gotten within talking range of him, he looked down to her or where-ever the eagle was with slight seriousness. "I know that your opinions are indifferent about the Jahina, but today is the day that you push that aside and deliver the message that we are ready to converse. Tell them that we are to meet at the central waterhole of the jungle as soon as possible.." His eyes looked over the land as he took another deep breath into his lungs, filling them with the fresh clean air that surrounded their lands. "Get there as fast as possible since we are leaving as well.. The Jahina den is located somewhat close to the waterhole, so it shouldn't be hard to find.."
It was time...

Zorayda's ears perked up when she heard her leader say something to the eagle, just outside the cave. She caught a few words...something about a meeting with the Jahina.
That would be...exciting and terrifying, to say the least.
"Zo?" Taro croaked, his eyes suddenly alert and afraid. He'd heard, too. Zorayda licked his cheek and stood up, letting him follow. His gold fur was ruffled on one side from lying down in the den. He shook out his mane and the rest of his body followed, fluffing his fur.
"It's okay, Taro," Zorayda comforted, but she, too was unsure. How was the other pride going to react to a meeting? She really hoped that another fight didn't break out...
She walked up next to Fire.
"I'm sorry...I couldn't help but to overhear...a meeting? This soon? I don't want to question your decision, but... are you sure?" Zorayda couldn't keep the tremor from her voice, her one good blue eye conveying her doubts. Behind her, Taro said nothing, his eyes cast down, but his body remained tense and his tail twitched nervously.

Koza wandered the endless savannah. As night became darker and the moon glimmered more then ever he could feel the powerful wind blowing all around him..."Where am I. Wheres my family.Where am I?" Koza looking up into the stars, he swore he could see his friends in the stars... "Who were those strange men who took me away? Should i have jumped out?" Koza's endless questions kept of raddling through his little cub head. The only thing he knew right now was that he wasn't ever going to get back home
Koza wandered into a cave and yelled "Is anyone in here! Hello!?"Koza didnt know what else to say at that point so he stayed silent listening for a response.

Fire turned his head to the approaching lioness and then nodded to her. "Yes... Due to our past circumstances, we have to join our prides as one. Before you become part of our pride Zorayda, there was a wicked lioness that was in the jungle, trying to kill me... for reasons that I can't seem to remember. Even though we had scared her off before, I can somewhat feel that something is wrong.. I cannot risk our lives when all she wants is me.. because she will do anything and kill anyone to get her way..."

Zorayda nodded, and Taro flopped onto his butt beside her.
She sat down too, next to Fire. His fiery mane blew gently in the wind, his muscles tensed under golden fur. She studied him for a few moments and noted the general weariness about him.
"You're an excellent leader, you know that?" She said suddenly. Then she blushed slightly at her frankness, but remained calm as the lovely breeze tossed her fringe about. She flicked an ear as it tickled the sensitive hairs in it.

Katakasha remained motionlessly at where she was, even as Legacy came closer and threatened her. She did keep her mouth shut this time, but what the large male had managed to do was only fuel her rage further. Her narrowed eyes glared at the back of Legacy's head when he walked away, and if she had been able to kill with just a look he would've been a dead lion now.
"Phew... That's a bit harsh..."
The black lioness' tail flicked from one side to the other and she furiously turned her glare at the remaining of the two brothers. She could still hear the sweet melody of water, and, unfortunately for Pulsar, he was standing right between her and the source of the sound. And so, her snarl slowly returned as she prepared to give him a piece of her mind about standing on her way.
Or she would have, but his next words caught her off guard.
"Common, let's go get you cleaned up..."
Her rage died as fast as it had flared up, and she now stared at Pulsar with a surprised expression. He wasn't stopping her from going to her sweet bath, he was in fact going to help her.
And then her anger returned. "What did you say..?" she asked with a dangerously calm voice, and screeched out her next words. "You ain't gonna help me to bathe, you pervert!" Kata then stormed past him, glaring murderously at the yellow maned lion. "Sometimes you're worse than your dear brother.." she snarled. "And you had better NOT follow me, or else...!"
And so she disappeared into the vegetation and finally headed towards her dear sweet bath that would get all that dirt off of her.

Pulsar stared at Kata with a somewhat blank expression as he held the opening to the waterhole for her. He was waiting to see if she would reply or what action she would take. In hind sight that might have been an unwise idea, while for a brief moment Kata had seemed to calm down, what ended up happening was that the lioness' rage was suddenly thrown at the male.
"What did you say..?"
The yellow maned male drew his head backward slightly as Kata replied to him, as if he was unsure of what she meant.
"You ain't gonna help me to bathe, you pervert!"
As the feline screeched at him, once again he drew his head back, this time only ever so slightly. His ears flickered slightly showing his slight irritation at her reply, a slight frown appearing on his face. Did he really deserve such a reply?
"Sometimes you're worse than your dear brother.."
As Kata walked through the opening Pulsar had made, the male drew back as best he could (While still keeping the way open for her). It wasn't a leap to say that he didn't want to anger her further. Any smart male knows you never mess with an angered female.
"And you had better NOT follow me, or else...!"
Pulsar's expression completely changed when she turned around giving her last snapping remark to him. His expression was one that one would expect someone to have after watching an elephant go crazy, in other words it was like a look of shock and horror.
When Kata vanished into the local foliage, Pulsar let go and the opening sprung closed as the shrubs and foliage went back to their natural position. "That wasn't deserved... I didn't do anything to her...." Pulsar kicked a rock that had been on the ground at his feet. ".. and i'm nothing like my brother..." He continued in a more pouting tone of voice. The male then closed his eyes and pondered for a moment.
<"You ain't gonna help me to bathe, you pervert!">
A slightly smirk appeared on his face and he shrugged. "Well, she's a sharp one that's for sure... heh...." He was about to walk off but only got so far as putting one paw forward. Stopping for a moment, he thought. "Hmmmm...." Turning his head, he looked back behind him, in the direction Kata had gone.
<"And you had better NOT follow me, or else...!">
".... Do I dare?....." Shaking his head, Pulsar looked back forward and continued walking once more. Letting out a sigh as he walked he then titled his head sideways a bit. "... I'm tempted... but I don't want to die...." The male looked up to what would be the sky had the jungle tree line not blocked his view. "Why do all the pretty one's have to be mentally unstable?..." After letting out one more sigh to his thoughts, Pulsar's thoughts then shifted from the subject.
"Think i'll head to the jungle's edge..." Stopping, he lifted up one of his front paws. "I don't mind the jungle, but all this junk on the ground his sticking to my paws...." Pulsar proceeded to give his paw a shake as sludge, dead foliage and the like flew from it to the ground. Putting his paw back down he turned slightly and began making his way to one side of the jungles boarder.

Koza had waited long enough for a response it was obvious no one was in there, but koza was still puzzled about one thing...would he forget his family? Would they forget him? Who was he and why was he here... these questions would be answered in dew time but until then he padded into the dark, damp cave as water droplets began to fall onto his muzzle; he flinched and covered his face with his paws.
As he sat there alone wondering what was going to happen to him he thought he heard some yelling, but then he figured it was probally nothing so he relaxed and tried to get some sleep. It had been a long day for him. He had been caught by weird monkey like creatured and fell out of their hard, cold, fast moving animal they were in... weird enough though it sounded nothing like an animal he had heard before.

"Ahh! Finally!"
Katakasha had finally reached the crystal clear water source. The spring was peaceful, and she could see the sandy bottom. Without wasting any time the black lioness approached the water and pulled herself completely underwater, letting the cool waters wash away all the dirt that had tangled up in her fur. She rubbed her fur and mane, making sure even the tiniest bits of dirt came off.
After one last dive into the water she pulled herself to the shore she was totally soaked and her mane was down on her sides instead of sticking up. She shook her fur, sending small droplets of water flying to all possible directions. After checking her reflection from the water's surface and making sure her mane now stuck up like it should, she sat down and half closed her eyes. Legacy surely wanted her to make the bath quick...
She didn't care right now what he thought. With a slight smirk she begun to lick her fur. Even if it was already clean she wanted to be sure of that... Besides, her fur would shine brilliantly after this.
That, and Legacy had been rude at her. Not that it was surprising, but she would now in turn let him wait because of what he had said.
Tefnut opened her eyes and suddenly she was wide awake. She remained completely motionless, and she took in deep breaths slowly and quietly to catch the scents. She didn't even dare to move her ears in fear the white spots behind them could be seen if she did.
She heard now what had woken her up. It was silence. The birds were not singing anymore, and with her leopard instincts she knew something had disturbed them so much that they had chosen to hide. There were only a few things that could do that, and one of them was the precence of a predator.
Surely, she too was a predator, but the birds could see she was no threat. Besides, she had grown up in this jungle, and not even once had she eaten a bird.
But a predator was close this time, and the liopardess could not let this pass. These were Jahina lands, and if it was an outsider...
Rustle of vegetation caught her attention and she turned her gaze down to where the noise had come from. She was completely unprepared for what she saw though, and the mere surprise was almost enough to drop her from the tree to the ground and reveal her to the one who had disturbed the birds.
A lion, that much she had expected... But she had not imagined to see that black and white fur. She was so shocked that for a moment she thought she could feel Legacy glaring at her..
But the flash of yellow returned her to her senses, and she understood this stranger was not her father. She had no idea who he was, but even despite the yellow mane this lion looked so familiar that she thought she actually knew him.
But she didn't, she had never seen him. And because he was a stranger, she could only do one thing.
Silently Tefnut dropped down from the branch and left the secure hide of the leaves. She landed with a quiet thud in the middle of the path this yellow maned lion was walking and turned the gaze of her deep green eyes at him. She didn't take a hostile pose, but she made sure he would understand she would not move before he would answer her:
"Who walks the lands of Jahina pride?"

The lion turned his head and almost revealed a little bit of cub in him as Zor could see a little bit of his blush in his cheeks, shaking his mane a little and smiling as he does so before looking out into the distance once more, trying to be calm about the situation. It had been a while since he had gotten complimented on anything of the sorts with all the negativity and hate that had spread through the lands. "Heh.. Why thank you, Zor.. I try.." The lioness got a wink from him.
