A Rouge's Journey

[Pulsar]

Mino seen Seleter standing at an edge and looking down at something and talking. “I’ll be right back Memkra…” He said as he walked over to Seleter “Who are you talking to?” He said as he approached her, then looking down he seen Maisha. “What the?” He said looking down at her. “Maisha are you alright?” He asked concerned.

Maisha looked next to Seleter and saw Mino.
" No... not really.... i can't get up... it hurts too much.." She said staring at Mino.
All of a sudden, she started bursting out in tears again.

[Pulsar]

Mino was worried, and was about to jump down to her, but he realised that the drop was a bit to high for him to make it down safe. He looked around for an easier way down. “Hold on Maisha, I’ll try to find a way down to help you…” He said reassuringly though he wasn’t sure HOW he was going to do that.

" Thanks.. Mino.." Maisha said.
She was so lucky she had friends like him and seleter.. and the rest of them.
What would she do without them.
She looked around for a safe way for the others to come down, but could not find any..

[Kirsui]

Seleter also looked around.
"How about that path over there?" she asked Mino, pointing a small path that seemed to go down to Maisha.
Seleta walked to it. It looked like there had been a small stream that had made this 'path'. There were no grass growing in it and only a few small rocks were pointing out from the soft sand.

Memkra legs were starting to tire. But, he tryed his best to reach the others. Upon reaching the cliff and looking down. he immediately felt so much sadness. He could not bear to see the lioness that helped him right after his recent injury laying helplessly. Memkra looked at mino and asked in a tone that a defenseless cub would ask a parent:

"What are we going to do?"

Then memkra hoped back a few steps and laid down to rest his three good legs. But continued to look at mino waiting for a ansewer.

Mino looked at the path, it wasn’t very big, but it was about the only option they had, someone had to get down there and check on Maisha.
“All right I’m gonna try the path…” Mino said as he walked over to the path.
This is gonna be hard to do…
He thought as he slowly mad his way down the path, small rocks slid off the path and fell to the ground bellow as he went, and he made the mistake of looking down when one of the rocks fell. The height shocked him and he lost balance almost falling but he recovered by digging his claws into the side of the path. He steadied himself once more, he was breathing heavily from the fright he just got, an almost look of horror on his face.
Maybe this wasn’t the best idea…
He thought as he once again slowly began making his way down the path.
“Don’t worry Maisha… I’ll be there before you know it…”
He said reassuringly as he could.

Maisha watched as mino started coming down the path and then looked up to see Memkra standing at the top of the cliff.
She then heard Mino's voice and smiled at him.
" Thankyou..." She mumbled to Mino.

[Pulsar]

Mino smiled at her briefly but looked back at the path, sliding down the last little bit he let out a sigh of relief.
I’m glad that’s over
He thought as he went to check on Maisha.
“Are you hurt anywhere?”
He said in a concerned tone as he looked at her.

" I'm not sure... i think i hurt one of my legs... coz i can't stand up..." Maisha said staring up at Mino.
" Do you want me to try and get up... so i can get back up... and so we can find out where i'm hurt?"
She said still staring at Mino..
" How could this happen?.. all i was doing was having a nice look around..." She thought to herself..

[Pulsar]

“No…. it’s alright Maisha, don’t try to get up we don’t want you getting more hurt… just relax, everything is going to be alright…. We’ll get you out of here and back up with the others in no time; just you wait and see….”
Mino said reassuringly as he smiled at her. Looking around he decided to start looking for a way out, the path was a bit to narrow to bring Maisha back up. They needed another way.
“Hey guys, take a look around and see if you can find a way to get Maisha out of here, maybe a bigger path or something”
Mino shouted up to the others, hopping they’d have more luck then him

Seleter nodded to Mino and started looking around. Since she didn't see anything she started walking, following the edge of the cliff. She passed the path Mino hed used and tried to find another one.

She had to walk a bit more and then she suddenly stopped. Her way was cut by a fairly large river.
Seleter sighed and turned around, going back to the others.
"There's nothing over there" she said when she came back.
"My way was cut by a large river. It's a wide one and flows very fast. So I think we have to find another way..."
She then started to walk to the other direction, trying to find something that could be used to get Maisha up.

After walking a bit more she thought she saw something. She raced to the place she had noticed and saw another path going down. At first she felt happy to find it but then her happines faded.
This path was even smaller than the other one and it was steeper. She sighed and continued searching.
"Why does it seem there's no other way down there?" she said to herself a bit annoyed.

"You could always come down the same way i did.." Maisha said for a laugh.. even though she had trouble laughing at a time like this.
"There has to bge a way though....." She said and looked around.

[Pulsar]

Mino smiled at Maisha’s joke. A little humour was always good at easing the tension of a situation.
Mino thought for a moment.
“What about a vine or something, maybe even a bone or a sturdy stick?”
Mino asked as he looked up at the top ledge.
“Something maybe we could use to pull her up? Or even for me to grab onto and bring her up on my back...”
Mino said, waiting for a reply to see if the others could find anything along those lines. Getting out of this and back to safety seemed much harder then he had first thought.

[Kirsui]

Seleter looked around, but she couldn't see anything that would have fit in Mino's description. She sighed.
"Wait a bit, I'll go and see a bit farther ahead" she said and then contined her way to the opposite direction from the huge river.
Nothing so far, she thought and started to run slowly. She followed the edge of the cliff.
As Seleter stopped and turned to look back she couldn't see Mino and Maisha anymore. But she did see Memkra at the edge of the cliff. She turned to look back foward and started walking.
"I'd better find atleast something" she said a bit annoyed. Then she noticed something odd.
The land started to go down.
Surprised by this sudden found Seleter ran foward. Then she stopped again. Her eyes shot wide open and then she started to laugh.
"I should have known."
The edge of the cliff had lowered with the land. Seleter saw a clear path to the place where Mino and Maisha were. It was long and twisty, but it certainly wasn't steep.
Seleter ran to the path. The path turned left and right and then again to left. Finally after several turns Seleter came to the place where Mino and Maisha were.
"Hi guys!" she said and grinned.

[lionloversam]

Memkra got up and made his way over to the path.
"I can walk down this with my leg!" he thought.

So, memkra turned around backwards and started to make himself slide down the hill. He thought he brushed up against some thing sharp. He didn't care. He just cared about getting down to miasha.

After reaching the bottom he made his way to the spot. He just look at Maisha in a way that said
"I am so sorry. Why couldn't this be me?"

He really wanted something to say. He just couldn't think of the words. He just laid down close by and tryed to hold back the tears.

Maisha smiled at Kirsui as she came running down to great them.
" Well you obiously didn't find anything to pull us up with then.." She said and laughed weakly.
She heard footsteps and turned around to see Memkra standing infront of her with a sad look in his eyes. She knew what he was thinking. He lay down next to her. As he did this she put one of her good paws on his back, reasurring him that she would be okay.

[Kirsui]

"Well, yea... I couldn't see anything to help you up" Seleter replied a bit sadly. Then she smiled to Maisha.
"But I found this long path that's not too steep. It is twisty, but I think that way we could get you away from here."
Seleter looked at the others, waiting for their opinion.

[Pulsar]

“Better then nothing…”
Mino said smiling at Seleter.
“Well done for finding it…”
Looking at Memkra, Mino maintained his smile. It was interesting that even with his hurt leg; Memkra was still trying to help any way he could.
Then he looked back at Maisha.
“Are you able to walk? Or do you need to be carried?”
Mino asked her, still rather unsure of how much damage a fall like that could have caused.

"i can walk on some legs.. but some i can't.. so i'm not sure.. but i could i have a hand getting up?" She replied to Mino.
"Then i shall see if i can walk."

(short!!! argh!!*stabs short post*)

[Kirsui]

Seleter smiled to Maisha and walked next to her.
"Here, let me help you stand up" she said with a friendly smile. She gave Maisha a helping 'paw' and helped her to stand up.
"Ok, so..." she said then. "Now, let's see if you can walk, hum?"
Seleter smiled again to Maisha, trying to be as helpfull as possible.

Maisha smiled back at Seleter. " Thanks." She stood up carefully and put all her paws on the ground. Maisha flinched and let out a little yelp as she pulled her left paw back up off the ground.
"I think it's this one that's causing me all the pain..." Maisha said staring at the others.

[Pulsar]

Mino watched as Maisha tried to walk but stepped on a hurt pawed it seemed.
“I’ll just carry you Maisha…. Save you hurting yourself further….”
Mino said as he walked up beside her and looked her in the eyes. As though he wasn’t as much offering as telling her.
“Well?”
He said in a curious voice waiting for her to reply.

[Deleted]

Maisha smiled. "Thanks" She said. She moved closer and hauled her self onto his back.
"Sorry.." She replied and laughed slightly.

[Pulsar]

Mino smiled faintly at her as he laughed.
“Think nothing of it…”
He said as he looked at Seleter and Memkra.
“Ok let’s get going, lead the way you two….”
He said to them.
“You ok up there Maisha?”
Turning his head to look to see if she was ok on his back

[Kirsui]

Seleter smiled at Mino and then turned towards the path.
"This way" she said and slowly started walking towards the path. When she reached it she turned around to see if the others were following her.
"As I mentioned before, it's not steep" she explained. "But it is rather long, and very twisty."
She gave a look for the path and then turned back to the others.
"Shall I go first or..?" she asked.

Maisha smiled. "Yeah thanks, i'm fine. After Seleta mentioned about the path being wind and twisted she laughed then mentioned to Mino. "Whatever you do, try your hardest not to drop me!" She said still laughing.

[Pulsar]

Mino just raised an eyebrow at Maisha and smiled faintly at her comment.
“Don’t worry I’ll try my best, I don’t think I’ll be losing my footing though because then we will both be going over the edge, and personally I don’t fancy falling off a cliff at the moment…”
Then he nodded to Seleter.
“If you would be so kind Seleter as to…. It would be helpful to have someone in front to tell me what’s coming up on the path…”

[Kirsui]

Seleter smiled to Mino.
"Ok" she said and walked to the path.
"Now... There's no large rocksaround, so it'll be easy to walk up" she said. She gave small instuctions while they walked up, telling when there would be a turn to left or right. A few times she threw a fer small peaces of wood and other similar things away from the path, so that the walking would be more easier.
Seleter looked up.
"We're near the end" she informed. They would soon be back up.

[Pulsar]

Mino looked up. He had been watching the ground as he walked the whole time. He was relieved to see the end of the path. Though he didn’t say much. He just looked back down and continued to follow Seleter, every so often checking on Maisha to make sure she was ok on his back.
