When they got to the end she slid off mino's back and landed on the floor. "So, how are we gonna get this to heal?" She asked them

Memkra was trying to use his injured leg as much as possible for this walk. Upon reaching the end he laid down to rest. He noticed a improvement since the injury, but felt this was not the time to say anything about himself. He just wanted to help where he could with his friends injury.

((OOC: ok so.. I think I could try and post something here again to get this RP active again... ))

Seleter stood near Maisha, looking down at the lioness' injured paw.
"Umm.." she muttered. "I suppose we should try and find some water. I mean... If you have wounds, they should be cleaned, right?"

The cheetah looked at the others.
"I could go and find some" she suggested. "I mean... I can run fast and such..."
She smiled faintly, waiting for someone to agree with her so that she could go and find the water somewhere.

Maisha nodded in reply. "Thankyou Seleter.. that is most kind of you." She smiled warmly at her friend. "If it's not too much to ask, that is." She added on quickly.

Memkra stood up and slowly looked around. Then he said "Is there anything I could do?" He paused briefly then continued, " I can't run now, but I can walk for the most part." Then to prove to himself he was feeling well he put weight evenly on all his legs. Upon feeling a sharp pain, he jerked his injured leg off of the ground. Slowly touching the ground again to the point it wouldn't cause discomfort.

Maisha smiled weakly. "Thanks..." She said quietly, but loud enough for Memkra to hear her. She watched as he stood on his legs, jerking his injured one off the ground before placing it back down. "Are you sure you're alright?

[lionloversam]

Trying to look comfident, memkra said, "My paw is still very sore, but I will help where I can." He paused briefly and looked deep in thought. Then he said, " I can just keep you company for now. But, if there is anything you need let me know and I will see what I can do. Don't worry about me. My injury is not as urgent as yours."

[Kirsui]

Seleter smiled at Memkra. The male lion clearly was a good friend, offering to help even though he himself was injured.
"I'll be back in a moment" the cheetah said, smiling slightly as she trotted away from the others.

Seleter kept glancing around, hoping to find water, hoping to find it soon. She was unfamiliar with this area, and wasn't sure where to look for water. She remembered how they had spent their night at a waterhole, but she also knew they had traveled a long way from that.

And secondly, Seleter wasn't even sure in which direction that waterhole was. The cheetah sighed and bolted into a run. She wanted to chase the worry out of her mind, and to her running seemed to be the best way to do that.

Seleter smiled greatly as the wind blew to her golden fur, how the grass around her was nothing more than a blur. This indeed was how she wanted to live, by running.

Unfortunately, she couldn't run forever. All too soon she had to stop and catch her breath.
'Damn my strenght...' she thought as she sat down, panting and blinking her eyes rapidly. It was great to run, to be the fastest on land. But it was not as great when all the strength to run had vanished.

After a moment, Seleter lifted her head and scanned the area with her light purple eyes. She saw nothing.
Oh wait! Was that a sparkle she saw? Seleter stood up and walked. Yes, something was sparkling there, something...
"Water!"
The cheetah trotted to the small stream. Or, small and small... It was not very deep, propably only half way up toSeleter's legs. But it was wide, three times as long as Seleter from her nose to tail tip.

Seleter smiled greatly and lowered herself down to take a drink. She licked the cool water to her mouth. It was fresh, it felt good when it flowed down to her stomach.
"This will be fine..." the cheetah muttered, still smiling as she rose up again, scanning the area once again.




((OOC: sorry for the longness, but I felt like typing... Any new player wanting to jump in, this would give you a good opportunity for that ))

Memkra layed down about four feet away from Maisha and was trying to think of how to start conversation. He did not know what to say. He looked like he was about to say something, but he stopped short unsure how to start conversation within the current conditions of his friend's injury. So he moved closer to about two feet and said, "Don't worry you'll be okay."

Maisha smiled sweetly at Memkra. "Thanks Mem, company would be good." She then watched as Seleter walked off. What good friends she had.. She then turned her attention back to Memkra when he spoke once again. "Thanks.. I hope so.."

[Pulsar]

Mino watched as Seleter raced off to find water. He would have went to look for water too, but he thought someone should stay with Maisha and Memkra. After all, they both were hurt.

Mino shook his mane slightly, gazing around as he sat down. Before Maisha had hurt herself, he had been suspicious about Seleter. But she seemed rather ok now, slightly, at least.

Leela watched a cheetah come and start drinking from her stream, from behind a bolder she watched, this cheetah did't seem hostile and with a grin and giggle she suddenly pounced onto the top of the bolder and roared in a rather stranglely way, she was trying to frighten the cheetah as a bit of fun but she did't sound very scary.

Memkra looked around. He was unsure but thought he heard a playful noise off in the distance, but he quickly shrugged it off. But not before giving Mino a quick look as to say, "What was that?"

[Kirsui]

Seleter hopped a feet on air and swirled around when she heard the roar. Her mind told her to race off, to escape. But there was a part in the back of her mind that told her to stay where she was and see who had such an odd sence of humour to scare Seleter with a roar.

To the cheetah's surprise, she saw a lion. Or yea... surprise and surprise. She couldn't count the times a lion had tried to scare her off.

The cheetah's eyes narrowed and she flattened her ears. But she didn't run. No.. Instead she decided to speak.
"Who are you?!" she demanded, her purple eyes flashing slightly.

Leela had giggled when the cheetah had jumped, she usually liked scaring by pretending to be lion, but then the cheetah turned around and her face was scary with flashing eyes and flattened ears.
Leela's face dropped and her ears and tail hung down, she was afriad, they were't supposed to react like this, she whimpered slightly and tried to back off but her big cub feet did't work properly and she fell literally over her own feet tumbling over and off the boulder with a screech.

Seleter blinked her eyes when she realized that the lion who had scared her was a cub. She relaxed a little, ashamed that she had scared the small cub like that.
The cheetah sighed and took a few steps closer to the lion cub, stopping then when she realized how scared the cub was.

"Sorry..." Seleter said, trying to smile slightly.
"I didn't mean to scare you like that..."
The cheetah smiled again and sat down, trying to seem as friendly as she could.
"I am Seleter" she introduced herself, waiting to see if the cub would be less scared of her.

Leela looked up at the cheetah who didn't seem as scary now as she apologized and introduced herself.
Leela sniffed slightly tears as she tried to stand, she had hurt her right hind leg when she fell off the rock in fear, her right leg shook as she stood there and replied with her own name "I'm Leela..."

[Kirsui]

Seleter smiled at the cub.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Leela" the cheetah said.
She then noticed Leela's leg shaking. Seleter lifted an eyebrow.
"Did you hurt yourself?" she asked, now on a concerned tone of voice. She flattened her ears momentarily. Then her own words reminded her of the reason why she actually was at the waterhole.

"Umm.. Leela..." she started.
"I have some friends nearby. I went to look for some water, and they're waiting for me to go back there."
She smiled sweetly at the cub, her light purple eyes had a friendly look in them.
"Would you want to come with me?" Seleter asked. "My friends are lions, and they're all very nice."

Leela winced unintentionally from her leg as she looked Seleter, other lions... it had been a while... she thought a moment, then nodded and a grin, more she play with...

[Kirsui]

((OOC: yes indeed... we need something to happen... xD ))

Seleter smiled gently at Leela.
"Would you prehaps want a ride on my back?" the cheetah asked as she approached the cub. She gently lifted Leela from the ground and placed the cub on her back.
"Hold on to the fur on my neck" the cheetah suggested. "I don't want to drop you."

Seleter smiled again, starting to walk to the direction where she had left rest of the group. She wondered if this cub had lost it's parents, or if they were still nearby. If they were, then it might be dangerous to carry Leela around.
'Oh well...' she thought. 'I couldn't leave her there either...'
Seleter started to walk a bit more faster, and she knew she should be able to see the others soon.

Leela bounced slightly on Seleter's back she the cheetah moved along, it wasn't the most comfitable thing she'd known, but it was probably much less painful than walking all this way and without a doubt quicker, Leela's legs were so small that this was actually quite a quick pace they were going at if Leela had been on her own legs.

Zulu prowled the outskirts of the jungle quietly watching and waiting for prey. The weather was perfect for midday hunting, humid and stuffy in the air, making it more difficult for antelope and gazelle to breath as they ran. And in the wet jungle, the air would be even denser. Who would suspect an agile cheetah hunting in the dense forest? He could feel prey approaching in the pit of his stomach, almost tasting a fresh kudu on his drooling tounge. He was ready as ever for food.

Then he heard it. Rustling in the trees and plants. The humid air made it difficult to smell, so he couldn't make out what it was, but it was moving quickly. Ah, but he could move quicker. He followed the sound and spotted something in the dense fog, running at about half speed towards him. He licked his chops and crouched low beneath the tall ferns around him. Here it came, closer and closer yet. His eyes dialated and he impatiently awaited the fast food coming towards him. The perfect surprise attack. When it just about reached him, he braced himself, shook his rear, eyed his meal, and pounced with a ratty roar at the face of the victim. But his heart stopped as he looked into the eyes of the cheetah before his outreached claws.

[Sarafina]

Sereana and her cub Nadayshana had watched a cheetah or couple of them couldnt see that well too far, and some lions.

"Mommy? can we go somewhere?" Nadayshana said while biting her mums ear playfully. She and her mum always got along. She loved to pounce on her and scare her when Sereanas sleeping.

" Nadayshana. " she said while picking her up and brining her to a rock. " Lets talk. We have to stay out here until we find someone to help us. " She said to Nadayshana while nuzzling her. Behind her she heard a lion but she couldnt see him. Then she saw him getting ready to pounce. Then she saw the cheetahs. He was going to get them. Sereana grabbed Nadayshana carefully and ran full speed toward the cheetahs. Sereana put Nadayshana down under a bush "Stay here. I will be right back." She made sure that she was close so she see her from the cheetah point. " Watch out!" she yelled while coming close to her so she would move. She ran into them but easily so that they wouldnt fall and the lion wouldnt get them. She looked at Nadayshana who was curled in a ball watching her mom help the cheetahs.

Zulu's eyes widened as he realized that he was attacking a fellow cheetah, just like himself (only without his marbled markings). He retracted his claws as much as he could, pulled his front legs back, and flinched as he collided with the cheetah and...whatever was on her back, he couldn't tell. A female lion had run up to them and tried to stop him from attacking. Luckily he had noticed before he had bitten and pinned them. He only hoped he hadn't hurt the cheetah and the passenger on top of her.

Sereana was just a too late. The cheetah ran into them. Not hard but he still did.
"Are you three alright?" she said while looking at them all. " I tried to help you but like everything else i did in this place...i failed." Sereana said while kind of smiling and frowning. She turned around to see Nadayshana. She moved her head in a way to tell Nadayshana that it was ok for her to come out.

Nadayshana watched her mom run for the cheetahs. "Go mother go!" as soon as she got up there Nadayshana got in a ball and closed her eyes. When she heard her mother talking, she raised her head and watched. She could see that Sereana was telling her it was sll right. Nadayshana loomed and ran as fast as she possibly could. She ran so fast the Sereana had to grab her with her front paw so she could stop. " Thanks momma" she said while nuzzling her arm.

Sereana saw Nadayshana running. She realised that she couldnt stop. Shr stuck her paw out and grabbed her. "Wo! Not to fast." Thanks momma she heard from her. "Your welcome baby." Sereana nuzzled her back. She looked back at the cheetahs. " Anyone hurt?" Please tell me no ones hurt

[Kirsui]

One moment Seleter had been walking peacefully towards her friends that were already in her sight, the next moment she was standing there, eyes wide open, with a king cheetah and lioness and her cub. It took some time from her to recover from the slight shock.
"eh.. yea... I'm ok..." she muttered.
"Though, Leela here", she continued as she pointed at the lioness cub on her back with her head, "hurt her leg. I was going to my friends, and one of them is also slightly hurt. Need to get them to the waterhole I just found..."

She smiled slightly, glancing at the king cheetah momentarily. It had been a while since she last saw one of those.
"Oh... sorry..." Seleter suddenly said. "Almost forgot. My name's Seleter, or just Seleta for short..."

[Sarafina]

Sereana was glad to see that Seleta was alright. She felt bad for Leela. "Is there anything we can do to help?" Sereana said looking at Seleta. "Im Sereana, and this ones Nadayshana" she said pawing at her daughter.

Nadayshana saw the cub on the cheetahs back. "Wo are you alright Leela?" Nadayshana asked in concern. Nadayshana went back to her mother. She layed down under her mom and put her head on her paws. She wasnt very tired but she fell asleep.

"If you need me to do something please tell me and i will do it for you." Sereana said to Leela and Seleta.

[Tamber]

Zulu wiped his face from his nose to behind his head, squeezing his eyes shut and trying to shake his collision off. He shook his head and glanced at Seleter. Suddenly his ears raised a bit, his mouth slightly open, and he found it hard to speak. "S-so-sorry about that, Se-Seleter," he stammered. Embarrassment and guilt, he figured, was rendering him unable to speak much. He sat back and glanced over at Sereana and Nadayshana. Nadayshana was resting on her mother's paw.

He then glanced over at the lion cub that had been riding Seleter. "I was just...um...hunting," he said to Seleter. He then looked back at her, and continued with a studder. "And I...I th-thought you were a...a, um...I-I don't know." Idiot. Why can't you talk? he said to himself. He decided to just keep quiet. Maybe he could slink away by the end of this conversation. He felt very uncomfortable.

[Sarafina]

Sereana could tell that he felt uncomfortable. "You ok......um i never caught your name? But are you ok?" Sereana wanted to make sure that they were ok.

Nadayshana looked at the other cheetah. "I like your spots. Their perty!" Sereana looked at Seleta. "Oh yours too. his are different though." Nadayshana smacked her self in the paw. Then out of the corner of her eyes she saw something. It was her tail. She chased until she ran into the other cheetah. "Oops sorry." she said while slowly backing away.

Sereana watched her cub chase her tail. She saw Shana going toward the other cheetah. " Nadaysh...." she started then she ran into him. ".....watch out. Sorry about that. She is really hyper." She said apoligizing to the other cheetah. " So Seleta where are you off to?" She said looking back at Selta and the cub.

He was still a little shaken. His head tilted slightly down, and his eyes still wide with uncertainty, he turned his eyes toward Sereanna. "Y-Yeah, I'm fine," he answered to her question. He rested his face and started to relax physically, but he was still nervous mentally. He couldn't figure why he was so nervous. Maybe he landed weird and...he stopped thinking to himself and spoke to Sereana. "I'm Zulu," he said to her."

He looked down at Shana, who had complimented his spotting. She made him smile, and for a moment relaxed him. "Thank you, Shana," he said to the cub. "It runs closely in my family." He was glad to here remarks of his fur. It was the only family-related part of him that he was proud of.
