A Rouge's Journey

[Pulsar]

Mino let out a very low groaning noise as he shifted position onto his side. Taking in a slow deep breath his eyes stared to open but fell shut before he could make anything out. He lay there as if resting for another minute or so before finally rolling back onto his stomach. Letting out a yawn he stretched out his front paws and extended his claws before returning to a now upright lying position. Opening his eyes fully this time, his mind slowly started to register the things around him. Looking over at Sheek and Seleter he seen how they were getting along, Mino wondered if he should at least try to get along with the cheetah. Then as he turned his head he seen Memkra and couldn’t help but smile as he saw him shifting his weight testing his leg.
Continuing his gaze finally rested on Maisha who was beside him. He had forgotten for that moment that Maisha had slept beside him.
I must have fallen asleep at some point during the night
He thought to himself as he tried to recall the night.
His mind was still working a bit sluggishly from only having woken up. Gazing at her for a few seconds, his face turned red slightly as he realised he had been staring for a minute or more.
“Ugh…. Good morning Maisha….”
He said as he stood up and stretched, slightly embarrassed although trying to hide it best he could.
“Good morning guys….”
He continued to the others.
“Did everyone sleep well?”

Maisha smiled as she saw Mino staring at her then realizing that he WAS staring at her.
''Good morning Mino.'' She smiled again as his cheeks went a rosy colour.
''I slept pretty well. You look like you did too.''

"good morning" sheek said muffled as he has a antelope in his mouth
Sheek decided to go for it and she re-gripped the antelope in his mouth and went through the water, he struggled a bit but he finally got to the other side of the river
He dropped the Antelope infront of Maisha and Mino
"Curtosy of Seleter" she said with a slight smile
"some,,,,,,reason i........dont feel hungry" sheek sighed
He lay down a few paces away from the antelop and lay on his back and looked into the sky

[Kirsui]

Seleter smiled to Sheek.
"Hey, it's not that bad!" she said with a huge grinn. Then she looked to others.
"Morning to you too. I think it's going to be nice day tomorrow."
Then she sat down and started licking her paw. She wanted to keep herself clean - a habit her mom made when she was a cub. Then she looked at Memkra.
"Are you getting better?" she asked curiously. She had seen him trying to walk and it had looked quite funny. But Seleter didn't find it amusing. How could she have, she was a cheetah. And for cheetahs, who run a lot, the leghs are very important.

Maisha smiled and looked up at Seleter.
''Mind if i have a tiny bit?'' She said and looked over at Sheek.
''I'll be back..''
She got up and padded over to Sheek.
She lay down next to him and rolled over on her back.
''Are you ok??'' She asked curiously.

[This Land]

Sheek sighed
"im.........im fine"
Sheek turned over and sighed
He turned back over and faced Maisha
"Just things running through my head that i cant get rid of, they annoy me"
He smiled at Maisha
"Nothing to be worried about though Maisha, just gets me down"

''Anything i can help with?'' She asked trying to help.
She smiled at him then loked over her shoulder to see what the others were doing.
''Come on... lets go see how good Seleter's catch is.'' Maisha giggled a bit then put out a paw for Sheek to get up.

[This Land]

Sheek smiled and grabbed Safila's paw to help him up
Sheek got up and smield to Safila
"Thankyou" he said gently
"i guess i do feel a bit hungry" he said chuckling

Maisha smiled.
''No problem.. after all that's what friend's are for.''
Maisha said and padded back over to Seleter with Sheek.
''Mind if we have some? You can have the first pick though.''
Maisha smiled at Seleter and sat down and waited for a response.

[Kirsui]

Seleter smiled.
"Go ahead" she said to Maisha.
"I've already eaten. It's all for you guys."
Then she giggled a bit. She wasn't used to share her prey willingly. But Seleter liked it. Then she looked her prey and the lions.
"Is that enough for all of you?" she asked concerned.
"I quess I could go and hunt another, if it isn't enough."

[This Land]

Sheek smiled
"its ok, im not going to eat much anyway"
Sheek went up to the Antelope and took and big chunk and put it in his mouth, he took a few paces away with it and lay down and started to slowly eat it.

[Pulsar]

“That’s very noble of you Seleter…. I don’t think I’ve even met a cheetah that has shared their food with other animals before….”
Mino said smiling lightly at her, as if making an attempt to be nice.
Standing up, Mino stretched until something cracked. Then shaking his head he walked over and sat down near Seleter.
“Listen, I want to apologise for the way I acted to you previously…. I guess I just got a bit over protective of my friends…”
He whispered in her direction so the others wouldn’t hear.
“I guess if the other trust you, that’s enough for me to….”
He continued as he stood up. Looking off into the distance he watched the clouds as they slowly moved, so peacefully across the sky.
“So….. Will we be making a move on in a few awhile?”
He asked curiously to the others as he maintained his view into the sky.

Maisha smiled at Seleter.
''Thanks Seleta... and yea... i think it will be.''
Maisha tore a big chunk off the animal and sat next to Mino and started eating.

Memkra looked at both seleter and then maisha.
"Yes, I do feel better. I just cant put weight on it quite now."

Memkra made his way over to where everybody was eating the kill and laid down close by.

"Um... Seleter, can I have a bit of your kill?"

[Kirsui]

Seleter smiled to Memkra.
"Of course you may!" she said. Then she gave a quick look for Mino.
He was looking the sky. Seleter smiled. Mino had apologised his behavior, and that was enough for Seleter.
"Apologise accepted" she said quietly and turned her gaze to the sky aswell.
So peacefull, she thought. She was smiling and the smile came deep inside her heart.

[This Land]

Sheek finshed off his small chunk of meat he had
"Thanks for your sharing" he smiled at Seleter
"Just off to the river for a drink"
with that sheek stood up and walked over to the nearby river, he lay on the bank of the river with his paws dipped into the water as they hung over the edge of the bank, Sheek started to take a nice long cold drink of water, by the time he was finished, the bloos from the meat had washed off his paws. sheek sighed and looked into the sky again, This is how sheek liked things, Queit and relaxing.

Seleter turned her eyes from the sky and looked the group.
Then she stood up and streched a bit.
"Should we get going?" she asked.
She somehow wanted to start adventuring and with a group it could be more fun.

''Yea.. i'd love to go somewhere... but someone's gonna have to help Memkra... i don't think he'll be able to walk without having to put up with some pain.''
Maisha said smiling then looked at Memkra.
''Where are we going to go anyway?''
She said looking at them all
''Anyone got any ideas?''

[lionloversam]

Memkra looked up at the sky after he swallowed his last bite of meat. Then he turned to Maisha and said:
"Perhapes we should se if sheek or mino know of anyplace. Or, have a idea"

Memkra made his way back up on to his three good legs and looked in the direction of sheek and mino.

[Pulsar]

Mino looked at Memkra with a puzzled expression.
“What?”
He said in a tone of voice as if he had done something wrong. Standing up he turned around and looked out into the horizon.
“I’d like to help and suggest some place we could go… but I’d rather not….”
He said in a slightly agitated tone.
“Why don’t you ask Sheek….”
He said as he turned back around.

''If you have an idea.. just tell us... you never know.. it could be fun..'' Maisha whispered to Mino.
She looked over at Sheek.
''Well....?'' Maisha looked over the hill and down into the jungle.
''We could always explore the jungle at the bottom of the hill...''

[This Land]

sheek smiled at safila
"Better than to do nothing at all" he chuckled
"Jungle then yes?" he questioned

[Kirsui]

Seleter nodded excited. She had once been in the jungle, and then she had been only a little cub. That was years ago and she didn't remember anything else than the huge trees and other plants.
"Well then" she said and looked to the direction of the jungle.
"Let's go, shall we?"
Then she took a little run and stopped to wait for the others.

[This Land]

Sheek slowly followed and looked back
"You coming you guys" he said happily

Memkra started following the best he could without putting weight on his bad leg. But every know and then he gently tried to put some weight on it, hopping it wouldn't hurt as much each time he did it.

Maisha smiled and started walking after the others.
" C'mon Mino..." Maisha said grinning at him, she then looked at Memkra.
" Talking a walk should do your leg some good. If you need any help though.. just let me know.."
Maisha said happily winking at him.
She then padded off after the others, heading down into the jungle.

[Pulsar]

Mino let out a light sigh and stood up to follow the others down the hill. He walked slowly and eventually began slowly overtaking Memkra.
“Hey Memkra, if you need a helping paw, just ask…. And don’t put to much pressure on that leg of yours…”
Mino said in a plain tone as he walked beside Memkra.

Maisha walked along happily. She then saw a big rock and went over and stood on it.
Maisha was enjoying the veiw when she heard a couple of cracks. She looked down at the rock and saw it about to fall. Before she could jump off it.. it fell. She screamed as she went flying down to the ground below her. Maisha opened her eyes and tried to stand up.. but she coulnd't move.. she screamed out in pain. She hoped the others had heard her and would come and find her..

[Kirsui]

Seleter heared something. She stopped where she was and turned her ears, trying to hear where the voice was coming.
She looked around and saw everyone else exept...
"Maisha..." she whispered and started to run where the voice came. Quickly she reached the place and saw Maisha, crying out in pain.
"Oh my", she said, "What happened?"
Seleter roared to inform the others where she was and then turned to look Maisha.

" I.. I was just standing here on this rock.. loking at the.. the view and.. the rock.. it just.. it just fell.." Maisha spluttered out to Seleter.
" I tried to get up... but it's too painfull..." She said staring up at Seleter, tears running down her face.
