Or you just peel them off when you're done fangirling/boying? Vinyl is good that way :'D #Kanuisastickinthemud
Wall decals are pretty cool either way. I wonder if those are official?

Heh, at least Simba gives his cubs the 'talk' when they were young XD. I can see that there will be a couple of adult jokes in the film for the older viewers.

First, i want to say, I hate rafiki in this. Now that that's out of the way,
LOL that was awesome! The dreaded "Talk." If the writers are brave enough to do that, I can't wait to see what else they do.
Sooo it's canon that Simba and Nala did it during that scene then.

Well, wonky animation, weirdo Rafiki, lack of a matriarch hyena and big. gaping. plot holes aside, I'm looking forward to seeing what becomes of the The Lion Guard. The more of it I watch, the more I see how much material there is that is actually looking extremely promising and to me it seems like they really could do a good job of it overall. Original TLK artist on the show too OMG! Also I like the Swahili stuff. Like, a lot

Wow is Kiara out of character! ...is all I have to say to that. Ouch Plus stereotypes. Stereotypes everywhere. Kion's behaviour in this scene is what Kiara should be like, but she's turned into the complete opposite of her film self. Woha. So, yeah, clearly TLK2 is gone out the window at this point and we're in an alternate universe. How strange. Still, trying to keep the faith over here xP

Surely there'll eventually be a character design featurette at some point. But I won't let that bother me now xD Kiara sounds so much different in that clip than how she sounded in SP, I'll take it that she's older and this takes place long after the We Are One scene

Niiice! I like that the members of the Guard have all kids voice actors, I think they're all great for their roles. And yay! Brick from 'The Middle' as Ono! I think that'll be a favourite of mine xD Also, it's nice to have TLG news keep coming, but can we keep them all in one TLG news thread instead of making new ones? xP

just because no-one was responding it isnt a reason to make a new thread, keep it all in the same place.
Im merging this into the TLG Thread.

Odd to me that they purport to be going for natural realism, and yet their main characters are anatomically fantastical. Fuli has the spots of a jaguar. I haven't seen a feline in these sneak peeks that has a good walk or run cycle. I wouldn't know that Bunga is a honey badger if I hadn't been told (especially, again, because he has rodent teeth). If they're going more for behavior that is true to nature, I'm not sure how you could accomplish that in an anthropomorphized cartoon series. As Julie Taymore has said about TLK, it stars animals, but it's a story of us (humans). I like the idea of the Swahili incorporation. I just hope it feels organic, not forced in a Dora the Explorer kind of way. I'm excited to see all this just because I'm so deep in the TLK franchise, but at this point I just hope I don't feel embarrassed watching the film or the show. And it sucks that with the info we have, it's kind of unreasonable to expect consistency in the timeline or the characters we know so well. The style is nice, but the animation feels cheap and digital. Simba looks like a plush doll. I just hope I get something out of it.

In the clips I've seen I can get an inference as to how Kion talks, how he interacts with family and friends, and in a way, what his thoughts of other people are.
