They gave her lion eyes. She needs eyes like Pumba, I think. Without the shadow above and highlight below. Same with the honey badger. They're tough little monsters that'll rip you to shreads! Everyone here is something new we haven't seen before, its the first book samples picture, here they are. pic.twitter.com/ZKo35D0sd0pic.twitter.com/D3CQZN2tjkand already I see alot wrong with them  I really hope these are just all books with a different look because they resemble what they did for finding Nemo and Frozen for book looks I don't like how straight edged Kions ears look, thats not the TLK way. A badgers fur is not Blue, its black, they could have done better with the badger, I don't like how he looks. and Fuli looks more like a leopard with the rosettes, leopards have rosettes, cheetahs don't, not even king cheetahs, cheetahs have just spots, why do they always twist the looks uuuugh. If they are trying to teach kids more about wildlife then the way they are doing it should not be all that I said, its like teaching a little kids that Badgers are blue, NO! and in the other book with just Fuli and Kion, Fuli looks creepy with those eyes. (wanting to bang my head against the wall hating how Disney is making me more scared for the final turn out) Again help me come to peace with these look, because this was what we saw in the first animation glimpse when Kion is leaping out of the grass, I want them to keep that animation and not this, god please.  |

I can't say I've kept up with Lion Guard updates much (or that I'd be particularly interested of the show anyway) but wow... Fuli's design does bother me too. On top of the spots being wrong, she is missing the tear marks that all cheetahs have. Unless they've suddenly changed her from cheetah to leopard, I can't think of any valid reason for the design.
As a side note, I rather like her eyes. xD

DAAOOW!!(upset) ;-|OK yeah she is not a cheetah if she doesn't have the right cheetah features, well what they did get right was her slim lean body for a cheetah, cause leopards don't have that kind of body. hey everyone, so I found that video with just that one glimps of animation toward the end, and what I have done is set the video setting to full max HD 0.25 and slowed it way down to study that peace of animation and I have to say the more you watch it, the more you study. im thinking that the animation is very well done and clean. It's a been a fact of real life royalty up until the latter decades 20th Century. (The only time a female heir was ever accepted was when there was no males closely related enough, to be eligable for the throne) As for who they are, I could likely name three; Mohatu, Ahadi, and Mufasa. |

That could actually happen. I second this idea. We`ve never actually seen any female heirs in the TLK Heirchacy, it was Mohatu > Ahadi > Mufasa > Scar > Simba > Kiara / Kion And all of them are male, so I`m thinking that either Kiara still going to become Queen as it may be a little confusing to the lil kids. Or Kion becomes heir and everyone's fan theorys on Kiaras reign go bye bye. |

It's a bit of a crack theory, but I believe it possible; in fact I wouldn't be surprised if it was the case, although some feminists might cry foul over it. However it was/is common, female heirs are even skipped by male cousins if they exist, not just their younger Brothers(provided the cousins were children of the brother/sister of the ruling King). To keep a male inheriting the throne.
The only case a were female could ever inherit would be if there was complete lack of any eligble males in the family tree, which was very rare.

I do have another theory. In The Lion KING, it was all about Simba, the main character becoming the KING. In The Lion Guard, I think it makes sense that it will be about Kion, the main character, becoming the Captain of the GUARD. I think it makes the most politically correct sense (y'know... because Disney) to make Kiara/Kovu the king and queen since they kinda got there first. Of course Simba/Nala would have to die first ( lol Disney wouldn't do that, right?) or otherwise step down. |

I've starting to think that maby this show will be a bit more supernatural than we're used to in this universe I have a feeling that, the picture with clouds forming into lions behind him, is actually him calling on some spiritual power of the ancestors (or something along that) We know there is a bit of "fantasy" already in the TLK universe (Rafiki comunicating with dead characters) so what if they amp it up for this show? Feels kinda silly writing it now tho, haha, sounded better in my head. |

One of those Kings is definitely Mufasa. But one of them could potentially be Kopa.
