I'm also really tired of all the burst out hate for the show when It desen't even have a singe episode out jet. I've been basicly in a Fb thread war the nearest couple of days against ppl that claim they're " A big Lionking fan!" but dosen't even know how to recognize simba & nala, or what many major characters names even are (we're talking so bad that they wasen't even sure who kiara was...) And they just seem extremly childish and naive, bursting out that this series is a proof that Disney is getting worse. That it will ruin their childhood and just all kind of crazy things. Alot of them even made seperate coments saying Disney is ***ed for " Replacing" Kiara with this Kion! So in other words they heven't even done a simple google search! It says in almost every article and wikies ect that Kion will be the younger child of Simba & Nala, that Kiara is gonna be there, and that she still is the future ruler. I just ..... <____<''' People are spreading inacurate hatefull rumors like wildfire and they don't even have an idea what they're talking about. I'm really afraid this negativity is gonna bring trouble too the show   |

I personally think the show could have some promise, keeping in mind that it was made for kids, it's hard to believe that people were/are expecting leaps and bounds off it. |

Ah yes, these idiots are pretty much in every fandom (or pretending to be in the fandom *rolls eyes*). It's frustrating, but there's no point in arguing with them, really. Sometimes it's better to just leave them to whine in their own little sad bubble xP But I wouldn't worry about those people negatively affecting the show, Pantzy. I'm sure it was the same case with MLP:FiM when it was first announced. I wasn't there to witness it, but I bet there were many people whinning about the new art style and such, saying they preferred the older show even though they never saw it in the first place, and now look at it, it's an enormous phenomenon. Another good example, which I remember very well, was when the first images of Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker came out, along with Link's new cartoonish style and look. A darn load of people hated it, myself included to some degree (some people still do), saying it would ruin the Zelda series forever. But when the actual game came out it became an instant classic, one of the best Zelda games there are. The style grew on me and I ended up loving it. See, they can say any darned thing about TLG, but it's the end product itself that matters, not what people say about it right now when it hasn't even been released. And it still has a darn lot of support from us, real fans  |

It's so nice to come over here and experience people who actually use their brain for a change xD You're both completely right, and it really does seem impossible to "win" against them. I wrote a huge comment trying to get everyone too understand why it's just not right to burst out hate like they did. I posted it on sunday night and by monday one of them had actually liked it to my suprise. But then it was just quiet for a while and when I logged off I didn't log in again, and today I haven't even checked. I just felt done. You know when you take extra time too read every comment they wrote some extra times just to make sure you didn't miss anything? and they on the other hand don't even seem too bother to read your comment whom they're responding too completely ... -__-' uggh In the end tho, It all just felt kind of humorous, so I just linked to this video and wrote " FOR THE LIONKING, AND FOR KION!!!"
Also Sorry for going a bit off topic xD !! I will stop now haha |

 What? How... wha. I mean, I guess that could work. It'd just have to take place between the time we last see her as a cub in TLK 2 (We Are One) and when we see her as a young adult because it just switches over. There's an undetermined amount of time in between. So since Kion doesn't appear in the 2nd half of TLK 2, we have to assume that eventually, he either leaves the Pride Lands or dies before we see Kiara as an adult. This is too weird. I guess it might all make sense somehow. We'll just have to wait and see. This also explains why Kovu isn't in the list of characters. Where'd you get this info by the way? Did you just get that from the second link I posted? (the companion book one), where in the article it mentions her like "Kion's older sister Kiara, future Queen of the Pridelands"?
"Older sister" doesn't mean she's a cub, it just means that she's Kion's sister and that she's older than him. That's it, nothing else.EDIT: Oh wow, I'm sorry, I was writing this post before seeing the link you posted. I hadn't seen that picture before. Apologies for the misunderstanding. Hmmm, ok... this changes a few things for sure O.o |

Anyway, wow! I didn't see that coming, I too always assumed Kiara would be grown up and this would take place after TLK2:SP.
Hmm I guess they have some plan for this? I mean, this would also mean Zira is alive in TLG... or I'm just thinking way ahead xP We'll have to just wait and see how this plays out. But it's certainly an interesting twist, hehe.

I did some voice actor Research and the voice for Kiara is Eden Rigal, now listening to her voice on you tube, I cant see her voicing Kiara as a cub she sounds more like she will be voicing Kiara as an adult, to me it makes more sense.

I actually think that's supposed to be a flashback to Mufasa and Simba, it's certainly reminiscent of the "everything the light touches" scene.
It looks really good though, I can't wait haha. Also Kovu <3

Aaaahh! I loved it!  wow, this is looking really good, I'm really excited yet again about this! Rob Lowe sounds just excellent as Simba! Rafiki too sounds pretty well. Seems that Kiara will definitely be a cub after all (sighs), ah well, we'll have to get used to it. My hope now is that there's a good and defined villain here, right now it seems it'll be just the hyenas we saw. It wouldn't bother me much if that ends up being the case, but still.... |

I really don't know what to think. Still reckon that they've made things overly complicated by making the series a midquel - it still seems like a cheap excuse to sell more cub Kiara - but hey, what do I know  At least the release date is so close now And everything else about it is still looking so darn good! |

The voice acting sounds awesome, though I'm not a huge fan of how Rafiki sounds.
I think I already know the story of the movie just from watching this trailer though. I have to say, once again, I hate how stiff the characters look. The facial expressions and lip syncing looks good, but from the neck down, they look like they're made of rubber.
I've pretty much let it sink in that Kiara is a cub so I'm not too worried any more. Just wish Kovu could have been continued as a character. Who knows? Maybe in a future episode.
Also, inb4 simba having a stick up his @$$ about the lion guard only having lions in it. lol
Can't wait for this to come out in spite of all the imperfections I can already see. Though, I suppose this is how most My Little Pony fans felt when they first saw Friendship Is Magic. Might as well just sit back and enjoy it.
