I just watched the reveal and the interview on youtube, and taking a good look at him, I have a good feeling that he's going to turn out to be one darn awesome Doctor |

Yes 8D I think he seems very, very promising. I'm glad they picked an older guy to play the part (he's the same age as William Hartnell was when the show first started!) and I'm so, so relieved that it's not a woman, haha. Not to be like that, but the Doctor couldn't be a female. Just no xP
I'm really excited to see Peter Capaldi's Doctor. Matt Smith will always be my favourite, and I'm still sort of sad to see him leave, but I'm excited none the less =P

Like I was just saying in the shoutbox though it annoys me that Peter has already been in Doctor Who and also that he was a main character in Torchwood.

Yeah, I agree that it'll be a bit odd to watch Fires of Pompeii now, since he was a prominent character in that episode... I haven't watched Torchwood, so I wouldn't know what he was like there, but if he was a main character that also sounds a bit weird. They'll have some explaining to do, haha. But I guess that if they could kill off Freema Agyeman's character in one episode and make her a companion in the next series, they can pull this off too... xP

I guess but in Torchwood he was in it for like 5 episodes (if you're interested it's called Children of Earth) and he was good in that which is why I have faith in him for following in Matt's footsteps

I was never actually a fan of Matt Smith, I thought that in comparison to David Tennant and Christopher Eccleston, his performance was pretty poor and I couldn't really stand to watch him... Sorry to say this but I was quite glad to see him go. On the note of Capaldi, I have faith that he'll do really well as the new Doctor and I also think that it's great they chose an older actor for the part (even if he has been in several episodes of TW and DW before ). |

It's so stupid, that I don't get a thing you are talking about. They're talking about Doctor Who, a British television show. It's one I'm not paticularly interested in to be honest so I can't tell you anything about it, just that it's very popular. |

I just spent a refreshing two weeks on a small holiday without touching the Internet much. Was soooo awesome. <3
As a further heads up though, I now have to focus fully on the design project I've been working on this summer, so I'll be pretty much unavailable until the next weekend.

Hehe, thanks y'all. So far I seem to have the approval of one member of the group that's commissioned me, now I just need approval from the others well. Augh, this wait  And I think you should try commissions, Leor, your art is certainly good enough for it Try to limit yourself with how many you take on though and don't have them open all the time. It's nice to get paid for your work, but it's also nice to draw for yourself every now and then xP |
