Step One - Introduce yourself

So this is the first step to take and it is to let everyone out there know who you are. Introductions is of course a very good way to get yourself known around the forum =3.

You can say as little or as much as you like about yourself.

May I take this time to give a welcome to you from me, I hope you enjoy TLKGO and I will see you around in the forum ^^

Step Two - Introduce your Characters

Right, you have introduced yourself and the members know you are around the Forum. So now I take it you want to sign up your character and start Role-playing? Well Lets go for it =D.

A. Create a New Thread in the Character Biography board (Top right button). Make The thread title Your member name.

B. Enter the Details of Your Character. Now you can be as detailed or as basic you like, Its entirely up to you ^^, If you did want to go detailed, then click here to see a rough template. If you just want to state a Name, Gender and Species and that's it, that's absolutely fine. If you have multiple characters, add them in your thread by editing the post or by Posting again (Multiple posts rule is exempt in here)

After this, Click post new thread and you are done =D

Notes

* If you wish to play a canon character (A character from any lion king film), you don't need to make a profile, just jump straight to the roleplay signup thread and ask if you can join in with that particular character (if it isn't already being used)
*If you want to make a Fantasy character with special abilities, please read the rules on what you can and cant have (this stops characters being overpowered) by Clicking here

Step Three - Lets Get Roleplaying

We have 2 Styles of roleplay that you see on the main forum page.

Structured plot roleplays (no activity at the moment, maybe suggest one ? ^^) - These tend to have a pre determined plot line, A Controlled amount of role-players and a courtesy of waiting for each other to post their replies so they don't get left behind, as told in the Forum Rules.  Information how to start one is inside the board itself. Normal or Fantasy

Freestyle roleplays (most popular) - This is a quicker way to jump straight into a roleplay or make your own for a faster paced experience. More information can be found by clicking here.

Step Four (Or after step one xD) - The TLKGO Community
At the bottom of the forum is all the community boards for non-roleplaying interaction. Talk about Lion King, post your fanart, play silly games, wish someone a happy birthday, tell everyone some good news, the list goes on.  A great place to get to know fellow members ^^
