Kyto ran over to fire and pounced on his head giggling. Kyto cupped his paws over his eyes to he couldnt see and began teething at his ear. "Hi fire! lets play a game!" Kyto began rubbing his tail against fire's nose trying to make him sneeze. "Afya help me make him sneeze!Nala help!" Kyto was having a blast and laughing his head off. Then kyto began gnawing on his other ear still laughing his head off.

Remba was trying so hard to pull Seleter under the bush where she might be sheltered from all the fighting going on, but the female cheetah seemed to be in a daze, and wasn't helping her any.
Stopping the cub looked back at all the noise and at that moment saw Charlie come rushing in and attack some more hyenas. Her glance looked over to Kikome and Remba gave a shudder at the look on his face, it scared her more than seeing all the blood and bits of flesh lying on the ground.

Feeling the cheetah move at last, she felt her neck being grabbed and then she was hanging in the air bouncing as Seleter ran away from the noise. She found that they had come to a stop at last, and she was lowered to the ground next to where Sukari had landed from when she was tossed thru the air.
Before she could do anything or ask about the other cub, Seleter had gathered them both in between her front paws and they were securely held there.
Remba didn't move or speak, not that she knew what to say anyway, she just lay there with her eyes darting in all directions, watching and waiting to see if anyone had followed them, while listening to the funny noises coming from the golden cheetah behind her.

As the black lion moved forward as quietly as he could, his head was lowered half way, so he could see where his large paws were being placed on the dry dusty ground, he didn't want to step on anything that could echo around in their surroundings, calling attention to any lingerers from that melee he had just fought in.

His nose continually sniffed gently at the air, trying to pick up Seleter and the cubs scent. He needed to find her,as she was now an instant target. She couldn't defend herself and protect Remba and Sukari at the same time, let alone now she was carrying a cub. It was upto him, where was the mighty kikome now.. hiding with his paws over his head no doubt still calling for Seleter, instead of getting off his rear and searching immediately.

Mentally shaking his head, to stop his anger from building towards Sukari's father again, Charlie pushed himself further into the foliage. Leaves were being pulled off their slim branches and free falling to the ground after the weight of his body pushed against them, not caring what he was leaving in his wake, all he wanted was to find the three of them safe and unharmed.

Charlie's ears had started to twitch, a sound was beakoning him forward. Slowly moving with all senses tuned in to what he might find, the lion lowered himself and crawled through a space from the bushes in front of him.
There she was.. he could see her frail body trembling, whilst she was trying to spread her body over the cubs, in case any more attacks from the hyenas should occur... she was basically offering herself to protect the young ones.

So as not to frighten them all any more, Charlie softly spoke as he moved forward.
" Seleter... open your eyes and look in front of you... It' me Charlie, I've come to look after you, till the others catch up with us. Don't be afraid .. look up and watch as I come closer."

Slowly he moved till finally he was standing over them all, like a guard doing his duty. Remba nor Sukari had acknowledged his presence, niether had the cheetah. Lowering himself to the ground, Charlie angled himself carefully and moved one paw to quietly pull Seleter with the cubs, tight against him, hoping his warmth and presence would bring her back to him, back to the living away from whatever nightmare was running through her making her tremble so bad.

Resting his chin softly on her head, he just moved his muzzle back and forth, silently, letting her know, she was safe once more and not alone.

The golden cheetah didn't move at all, except for the tired trembling of her body. She refused to fall asleep though, or more so her instinct told her to keep awake and protect the cubs. Her ears flicked to different directions and her eyes glared sharply at the surroundings.

As she heard steps coming closer to where she was hiding with the cubs, her whole body tensed. She saw someone move closer, and yet she still failed to recognize who it was. And so she bared her fangs and hissed a warning, telling who ever had appeared to back off from her and her cubs.

"-- look in front of you... -- I've come -- look up and watch as I come closer."

Seleter's brains registered only parts of what was spoken to her. She knew it was another feline, but even as she blinked her eyes furiously, her tired eyes refused to focus and so she only hissed more. A low growl mixed into her hiss when the other feline stood above her and her cubs.

And then the other feline dared to touch her, apparently completely ignoring her last warning. She was pulled to a tight hug, familiar somehow... But her instincts ruled over that familiarity and made her snarl. She squirmed and kicked, not knowing what her paws and sharp claws were hitting until she was free. She gathered both Sukari and Remba close to her and placed them on the ground a safe distance away from the other adult feline - which happened to be the furthest her tired limbs carried her before she collapsed to the ground. She settled herself on the same curled position around the cubs as she glared daggers at Charlie. She didn't recognize him, in her eyes he was a threat to her cubs, and she would protect them from him at any cost.

And so she kept her spotted ears flattened tight against her skull so that the white spots were visible, she had her fangs still bared, and she was still hissing. Except.. This time there were words mixed into the angry noises she was making.
"STAY AWAY FROM MY CUBS!"

Charlie had touched Seleter, had tried to gather her close to him, to offer comfort, when she pushed at him, her claws snagging his skin and drawing blood with the sharpness, while all the while she hissed and growled, and entangled herself and the cubs from his embrace.

"Seleter... it's me Charlie, I'm not going to hurt you....remember me...please "

Staying still, not moving a muscle, he watched as her small body moved backwards from him pulling the cubs with her, protecting those smaller and weaker than herself, Charlie could only stand there admiring her for her obstinance, while waiting for her to drop from sheer exhaustion and then he could move and take stand once again.

At last he saw Seleter collapse on the ground and thinking she had finally finished her tirade against him, Charlie took a step towards them only to be met with white gleaming teeth bared to him and "STAY AWAY FROM MY CUBS!" hissed at him as well.
Remaining motionless he waited, knowing that it would only be a few moments before she passed out again, her whole body was near collapse, and the cubs were shell shocked as well, then he would make his move... he would wait all day if necessary, he wasn't going anywhere, he was where he wanted to be.

One paw at a time he moved closer to where she lay, he didn't say anything, but again lowered himself down beside her, pausing for a moment waiting for her claws to strike, but with nothing eventuating, he grew bolder, and pressed himself against her side, pulling her small body and those of the cubs within the circle of his warmth, and once more soothed her with calming words, of no importance, but enough that he hoped hearing his voice would penetrate through that fog of vulnerablity and she realise he was a friend not a foe.

[Fire]

Fire was following behind Charlie in a slow manner, particularly since he was mimicking carefully his movements as not to create noise for where they were walking. He didn't have a very good idea of where they were going exactly, but it seemed important since Charlie seemed hell-bent on getting to that point.

It was only until he heard that very unfamiliar voice that rung out the cry of motherhood. Yet... The voice was something that he thought he had heard before. His ears were on high alert after he heard this, slowly slinking hid body through the bushes that Charlie had managed to get himself through. What he saw next was something that was something short of a slight horror and slight relief. The horror came from Seleter looking like she hadn't eaten or slept in days on end, her frail body not looking healthy at all. The cubs themselves looked almost shell-shocked indeed from the trauma that they went through before this, and Charlie being so close to Seleter like that?.. It was a weird sight to see... Yet.. It also reminded him that his friends were okay.. Relatively safe for now, and sound. He just sat a good distance away from the two and just waited.. waited until it was a good time to say his hellos and whatnot..

Nala was looking around at the blood and left over hyenas on the ground, and wasn't really paying much attention of what the black lion was actually saying. Startled she spun round when she saw movement and realised whatever he had said she had missed and now he was off running through the bushes.

Looking back at Fire, she frowned slightly at the cub that had attached it self to him, couldn't keep quiet if it tried. Watching she saw Fire move away from the cub almost following Charlie, then he stopped and whistled. Moving her head she looked behind her, then back at him but he hadn't waited and gone hurrying off as well.
"Wait ...Fire ! "

Nala found herself talking to the air. Hearing a noise she looked down with distaste and met the cubs eyes.
Blast why couldn't he have taken this...this.. cub thing with him, its his responsibility, not mine, and now I just can't leave him here by himself...hmm or can I

Feeling guilty Nala moved over and picked the cub up by the scruff of his neck, she had thought about placing him on her back, but didn't want him to get too comfy, and moved off in the direction where she had seen Fire move off too.
when I catch up with him, he's gonna get told about leaving his things behind, what does he think I am a blasted nanny, he wanted to bring this thing with him, and then he runs off and forgets it

Kyto saw fire just ignore him and kyto just sat there kinda sad. then he felt nala scoop him up by his scruff. Kyto began to laugh. "Hey Nala. Fires weird eh?" Kyto began swishing his tail back and forth but didnt realize each time it was skimming nala's face. Kyto then starting calling out for Afya. "Afya. cmon follow us." Kyto looked down at all the sticks and pebbles and leaves on the ground, they were so small.

Afya shook her head and, with a roll of her eyes, trotted after Kyto and the lioness. When she was beside them she slowed to match their pace. Afya was perfectly happy to walk without saying much.

To Afya, the lioness didn't look particularly happy to be carrying Kyto. She nudged her and nodded to Kyto.

"Want me to take him for you?" She whispered, not wanting to upset Kyto. "I was watching him for a while, then he ran off." She waited for the lionesses response whilst keeping an eye on the jungle path.

Nala heard a noise behind her and turned her head with Kyto still swinging to and fro, to see what was happening.
Blast, I had forgotten all about that lioness being with us, she must have stepped where I couldn't have seen her, I thought it was just me and this one left after Fire took off

Staring at her, Nala let her eyes roam over Afya, she was on the slim side with creamy coloured fur, her funny looking tail drew a second glance, but then her eyes met the strangers. Blinking for a moment Nala hadn't seen such luminous green eyes before, and they stared straight back at her.

Realising that she was offering to take the cub, she breathed a sigh of relief and quickly placed kyto one the lioness back, and straightend herself up once more. Not wanting to appear any more rude than she had been, Nala cleared her throat quickly and spoke.
" Thanks for offering, I'm not that good around cubs, I like to be able to move fast, ready to fight.. so.. if he doesnt mind, he's all yours unless Fire wants to have a turn playing 'daddy' again."

Gathering up some more speed, Nala used her head and shoulders to push through some bushes and nearly fell on top of the red maned lion, that she had been speaking about. Her chest rubbed against his back feeling the warmth and strength from him. Using her front paws, she just managed in time to stop and then push herself back so she then stood beside him.
"Whats wrong, why are you waiting here, have you seen Charlie and Seleter ?"

[Fire]

The lion was just about to make an approach when he felt some other topple over him and himself letting out a comical wheeze as the lioness took his breath away for a moment. The lion looked up at the lioness with a little frown and then warmed up as he realized who it was. He chuckled quietly and shook his head before motioning to the two that were laying there together in each other's arms, from what it looked like and speaking in a soft tone. "I only just got here... You see how Seleter is?... Gosh, she looks awful... Almost like she was starved for a couple of days and then trampled over by a couple of zebras..." The lion shuddered almost at the thought. "I definitely have a solid idea of who was behind this.."

[This Land]

Kikome wandered in his own thoughts, mainly flashbacks of the bloodbath he has just left behind.
He didn't know how exactly what persuaded him to do what he just did, he knew himself he didn't train himself up to be like this, he trained himself up to control his feelings, uncontrollable feelings can damage how effective you are in attack and self defence, which he needed for Sukari.
"Sukari!" he gasped"
"Sukari is dead because of me.....I started training her when she was too young....she became overconfident.....WHAT HAVE I DONE!!!!"
Kikome let out a roar and dug his claws deep into a tree next to him.
"YOU ARE A FOOL KIKOME !.....YOU HAVE NOTHING!!!"
Kikome smashed his head against the tree and kept it there
"I have nothing.......nothing...."
Kikome blinked many times to flush out the tears
He stay there for many moments, trying to calm himself down. He got hold of his feelings and retreated his head from the tree, and started walking silently. Making a noise in this still potential hostile area is the last thing he wanted at the moment. He carried on his sorrow inside of him.... hid it away.

Sukari came around, she blinked several times to try get her vision to clear but it stayed blurry, then her actual mind came around, for some reason she couldn't hear properly at all, it was extensively muffled. She was trapped by some animal, she didn't have time to smell what it was, she just assumed straight a hyena had captured her after her fall, she growled angrily and used her small sharp claws to maul her way out of its grasp. She got free somehow very easily and darted in a straight line and jumped into - In her eyes- a big green blob which she hoped to be a thick bush, which luckily it was. She couldn't run away properly as of her recent injury to her hind leg when she fell off Kikome and due to her blurred vision she didn't want to get lost, So she done her best to crawl deeper and deeper but not too far, then lay down and turned around, facing the direction she just came from. Her claws still bared and slight growl that she couldn't stop. She lay there, her eyes concentrating along the ground, vaguely looking for any sort of blurred movement which could be a potential danger, while she waited for her clear vision to return. Once it had, she would dart out and run back in the same direction that Seleter had came, and hopefully Kikome will be waiting outside. Little did she know that she had been carried a distance away by Seleter and now in a different direction from where she landed after the hyena had threw her, and also that Kikome was in fact inside this forest and Seleter was very near. If she Ran now, she could maybe be lost forever.

It was now a matter of somehow letting her know it was safe, without the possibility of showing her through vision or telling her through Speech. If her blurred vision seen anything approaching her and same as if she heard anything, she could possibly force herself to make a run for it, even though she particularly didn’t want to because of the Danger of running pretty much blindly.
The complication was that even when her vision did or would ever clear, she wouldn't hang around to find out what was out there.
It was now a very tricky situation.

Remba had finally stopped shaking, she couldn't feel any pain so she must still be alive. Opening one eyes first then the other, she could see lots of fur, plus she couldn't move, something was holding her real tight.
Wiggling a little she moved her head and saw black, lots of black, frowning she was about to scream when she saw Sukari push against her and force her way out and away jumping into a bush.
Looking wildly around again she saw that she was squashed one side by Seleter and the other side Charlie.
"Let me go , we need to get Sukari back somethings wrong with her.. help me Charlie, don't let her run away from us."

After being passed to Afya by Nala. Kyto giggled a little and started playing with afya's nose... "I missed you afya... what do you wanna play first?" Kyto couldn't stop giggled when he saw the look on nala's face. "Afya guess what?" Kyto whispered in afya's ear still giggling "Fire and Nala sitting in a tree K.I.S.S.I.N.G., Afya do you like anyone?" Kyto put his muddy paws on afya's nose trying to support himself as he was being carried.

Nala stood close to the red maned lion, listening quietly to what he had to say, then wanting to see for herself, she bought up a paw and gently placed it on his cheek and pushed his head to the right, while she leant forward to see what had made him stare.

Blinking as she saw Seleter and Charlie were sort of moulded together, she wasn't sure if the black lion was holding her or just standing guard. Before she had time to say anything she saw Sukari suddenly rush from the tangle of bodies with a small growl, and run straight ahead into a bush and disapear. what on earth.
Nala swung her head back to the others just in tme to see the other cub Remba push herself up and say something to Charlie, looking at her face you could see she was panicking.

Leaning back a little, she realised she was still holding onto Fires face and slowly dropped her paw, blushing slightly and then leant towards his ear, hoping her voice wouldn't travel.
"I'm going to move around to where we just saw Sukari run to, I don't know whats happened, maybe you should let yourself be seen slowly by Charlie".

Glancing away, Nala moved quietly back and then around to her left, making her way to where she thought she might the cub hiding, and bring her back to safety.

Charlie might have been trying to calm her down, but Seleter didn't realize this. She was too weak to move away any more, or do anything else for that matter. So she just kept glaring daggers and hissing at him, not recognizing who he was at all. Her hissing intensified when Charlie rested beside her, and had she been able to move she surely would have either clawed or bitten him.

Until Sukari ran.

The golden cheetah was shocked even through her rage when the cub suddenly stung her with tiny, sharp claws and ran away. She was completely silent and motionless, her eyes staring wide open at the direction Sukari had escaped to. She could only barely hear Remba speak something to Charlie, because her mind was now filled with shocked horror.

Her cub had ran away from her. And she didn't know why.

Seleter blinked, and then shook her head. No, not her cub... Her cub could not run for a while still because it had not been born yet... And if it was not her cub, and since Remba was still there...

"Sukari...!"
The golden cheetah felt a panic take faint hold of her. Sukari had ran, and she was too weak to run after the cub. Her eyes blurred though she didn't realize herself that she cried.
"Sukari!!"
The last yell was too much and drained all energy remaining from her. She passed out, completely taken over by exhaustion.

[This Land]

Kikome carried on in the same direction. Dwelling in his own thoughts and his mistakes. His ears twitched as he heard a slight sudden rustle in a bush ahead. He just hoped...for its own good, that it wasn't a Hyena. Kikome shifted his walking style, so it was swift, fast and silent. As he approached the bush ahead he, to his own surprise heard Seleter Yelling out "Sukari” . He didn't know what to think. It could either be a Call to her being alive, or a call in upset to her death. Kikome still walking silently, stepped up to the bush. Nothing dangerous had come out of it yet, his attention diverted and he peered over the top into the slight opening, where he had now seen Seleter unconscious on the ground. Kikome heard slight movement in the bush again, he looked down and his heart skipped a beat...it was Sukari! Kikome At the time wanted to yell out in great joy that his daughter was alive, But at this current situation, who knows what could happen, Hyena's can return and in greater numbers. Kikome Picked up Sukari quickly and leapt over the bush and stood next to Seleter.

"If I heard or saw the slightest thing...I would of ran, but when I heard something come, I didn't run, I just had a feeling it was you. It was terrible Daddy...Hyena's were everywhere, but I managed to escaped out of the grasp of one and Hide....."
Sukari Peered Over at Seleter unconscious on the floor, one of her legs has loads of claw marks.
"It was her....I have hurt her" Sukari said Shocked
Kikome got confused about everything going on. Even more so when a lion he hadn't seen before was with them.
"I Assume you are a friend of Seleter's, further more you are part of the group that was being held captured by Scar. Well done for getting out of there..... Then again, this place is getting just as bad." Kikome said seriously.
"I would make a full introduction, but this place is the last place you want to be when Hyena's are on our trail”

Kikome Placed Sukari on the ground, He then lowered his head and Scooped the front part of Seleter onto his shoulders, he then jolted his shoulders up which swung Seleter onto His Back. He lowered his head down again for Sukari to climb on top onto the back of his neck and she Held on tight. He then picked up Remba By the nape of her neck.

"We need to be out in the open, where we can see everything coming towards us. I am going back now in the same direction where I had came out of here the first time some time ago, I know this slum of a forest all too well. It's Only just up ahead, don’t fall behind, and just stay in this direction. I would wait but I particularly do not want Seleter to gain consciousness while he is on my back”

With That, Kikome leapt off through the trees.

After a short While, Kikome got to the edge of the forest and took a few paces out into the open. He gently slid Seleter onto the ground and placed Remba onto the ground and in which Sukari jumped down off the back of his head as well. Her Vision had pretty much returned and her hearing was ok. Even she didn’t know what this thing was all about with her vision and hearing. She just put it down to shock, which was now retreating.

Kikome lay down close beside Seleter and then Sukari Squeezed In between. She stared up at Kikome with the expression of a hundred questions of what the hell just went on with this whole situation.
"We were all in the wrong place...at the wrong time. Just get some rest we will worry about anything that we still have questions about, after we have slept the Majority of our problems off".
Kikome Gave Sukari a tender lick. He moved his head Over Seleter and stared at her face for a moment... the most peaceful he has seen it in a while. He then moved his nuzzle closer to her injured leg and was about to lick it....then he Paused. He shifted his eyes over to Sukari who now had a confused look on her face. He then retreated his head back into between his own paws.
"It isn’t my place to do that...But I’m Sure it is yours Sukari" He said warmly.

Sukari then hopped into between Seleter’s Paws, and starting Licking Seleter's cut clean, with a soft gentle purr dancing in her throat.

[Fire]

The red-maned lion felt that paw on his cheek from Nala pressing onto it and he ducked out of the way so Nala could also see the cubs and Seleter in her frail state. When he saw the lioness blush beside him, he couldn't help but smile to her as he then changed to a more serious look on his face when he heard Nala talking to him. Nodding his approval, he waited till the lioness was some distance away before attempting to go up to the lioness who's mental state was probably borderline/tip-toeing paranoia.

But wait... There was that lion that entered and it haltered his step to make him stay in the bushes. He also had Sukari with him as well, which was weird since Sukari had dashed into that brush not even a minute after that mysterious feline appeared with the cub. Who was he?.. He had seen him before. While he was pondering this, his eyes went wide as he couldn't hear what he was saying exactly, but he did see him put Seleter onto his back and jump away with her unconscious body. He immediately thought of Nala who was trying to look for Sukari, and wondered if she had seen that lion take her away. In the meantime, he re-appeared out of the bush a little flustered to be within Charlie's earshot. "Jesus Christ, who the hell is that guy? Who does he think he is, taking Seleter away like that?..."

Afya refused to answer Kyto and stayed silent. When the lion took Seleter away she hissed slightly.

"I do not like anybody Kyto. Not like THAT anyway." She said quietly. She continued watching very quietly. She warily dipped her head and slunk forward toward Fire and Charlie. She slowly stood up to her full height again and dug her claws into the earth. "Sooo... I take it we know that lion?" She said.

Kyto took his muddy paws off Afya's nose and drooped as Afya held him by the scruff.

Once Afya reached Fire, Kyto struggled to try to get out of Afya's grip. "Afya can I say hi to Fire? Please? Please Afya?" Kyto waved his paws back and forth as he was being held. Kyto had only seen Fire for a day and he wishes Fire would talk to him. Kyto looked at Afya grining.

While he was grinning,storm clouds were forming in the sky. then a few moments later drops of water began pounding down on Kyto's head. "Whats that Afya?

Charlie lay there with Seleter and the cubs enfolded in his paws, trying to protect and soothe at the same time, it didn't bother him that the small cheetah was scratching and hissing at him, it showed that she was alive and feeling emotions, and it was better than a near dead body feeling nothing.

Loosening his grip a little as he felt sukari struggling to get free, the black lion let her go, watching warily where it was she had run too, his senses were on alert, he knew Fire and Nala were close and could see what was happening, and if anything was needed they would protect the cub, all his energy was focused on who was still in his embrace.

Charlies eyes widened and a slow hiss escaped through his muzzle as he saw who was emerging from the bushes. Ever since he had showen his face around them, someone got hurt, and this time it was Seleter more than anyone, and now she was carrying a cub, two lives were in the balance. Slowly he saw Sukaris father come closer till he was standing in front of them still holding his daughter by the scruff of her neck and he placed her on the ground.

Knowing Nala and Fire were right behind him now, Charlie didn't call to them yet somehow kikome had seen them and was ... introducing himself. Feeling a bubble of laughter trying to escape, charlie thought how ridiculous the whole situation was , but then even more amazed when the lion pushed in front of him and placed seleter on his back as though... though she belonged to him. For once Charlie was unsure of what to do, yes he had told Seleter he would take care of her until her cub was born, but yet he had seen how she had reacted to Kikome, when she knew she could be part of their little family. So with that last picture in his mind, he did nothing, just let Kikome do what was best for now.

Blinking rapidly Charlie refocused on the space in front of him, realising he had just made the biggest mistake he could, Kikome had gone and taken Remba with him, the cub he didn't really care much for and always forget about her existance when something happened. His muzzle opened wide and he let out a snarling roar, then turned to where Fire had now stopped at his rear.
"That is the mistake I let happen, the one who seems to be bringing misery to us, the one who keeps bringing danger to Remba and Seleter... he is ..Sukari's father.. Kikome.. who is also Zira's brother."

Turning to look at Fire, he saw the other lioness that never seemed to be far from the red maned lion again standing staring at him also.
"Where's Nala, we need to move ... now.. we have to make sure Remba and Seleter stay with us, if not I'm afraid he may get them killed. Where he and sukari go... Zira goes, and that my friends is unacceptable."

[Fire]

"Nala is right behind me.. I think.. or quite near... But I do agree that we need to find this Kikome.. And make him realize what he's do.... Wait.. He has Remba?!...." He says in shocked belief, that ignorant lion taking the only cub that he had grown an attachment to. Looking around, he saw that Kyto and Afya were nearby, nodding to them to acknowledge their presence and then focus himself on Charlie.

One moment Remba had been pleading with Charlie for him to go with her to help Sukari, and then that lion was now standing in front of them, he had sukari already, and was placing Seleter on his back, and he grabbed her as well.

The cub was too scared to say anything, and Charlie was letting him take them all, why wasn't the black lion stopping him, didn't her want her around any more either. Sadness passed over her and she just let her head drop and closed her eyes, she was a nobody again.

The big lion was moving away and no one was saying anything, moving her head a little bit, she looked back to see Charlie and the red maned lion just standing there staring at her, closing her eyes she didnt want to see them anymore, she just felt herself jiggling as kikome moved away with them all.

Slowly Nala moved quietly around to where she had last seen the cub scramble towards. Sniffing, the lioness could smell her scent quite easily, but when she got there, no Sukari to be seen. She could see broken twigs and crushed leaves, but that was all. Pushing forward a little she caught the scent of another, one she didn't know, a small growl rose up from her throat and passed through her lips.

It was too late for caution now, someone had taken the cub, Nala pushed her way out of the bush and looked around, all she could see was that Charlie and Fire were standing close together and behind Fire was the other lioness and the little pest. Sighing, she realised that for now, he was going to be with them whether she liked it or not. Mopving forward she came back to where they all stood, catching the last of Fire's words to Charlie.

"I do agree that we need to find this Kikome.. And make him realize what he's do.... Wait.. He has Remba?!...."

Afya's ears perked up as they spoke of Remba. Remba...I owe her for that scream I did... Her eyes narrowed with anger. She felt guilty and just because the cub didn't like her didn't mean she couldn't help. Her eyes snapped to Kyto and she smiled slightly.

"Well, if this little chap has been causing havoc, I'll watch him while we go and fetch your friends." She nodded, ready to go on baby sitting duty.

"I might as well do something" She added. Afya was pretty fast but if she got there and this lion was in a mean mood, her fighting skills would buy her squat time at all.

Kyto looked at Afya and smiled. "Afya? If Nala and Fire, Then who do you like?" Kyto swished and swayed his muddy tail under Afya's nose. He never liked being held by the scruff.

Then Kyto said in his loudest voice "Nala and Fire sitting in a tree K.I.S.S.I.N.G.!!!!Afya are nala and fire gonna get married?" Kyto laughed as mud dripped from his fur.

Nala couldn't believe that Charlie had let that lion just take them under his nose
"Why did you let them go, don't you care about them.. I know Fire and I haven't been with you, but you seem quiet capable to me to put up some sort of fight? well ?"

The lioness sighed, she realised that maybe it was upto her to get things organised, no point standing around staring at some bushes swaying in the breeze. About to speak with the two males, she heard the little cub talk again and what she heard irritated her no end.
Bringing her head around she moved a few steps to wards where the female stood guard over him.
"I think we need to all keep together, last thing we need is to have to come back and rescue you and....him."

About to turn away, Nala bent once more bringing her muzzle close to the cubs ear, whispering quietly
"If I hear one more word about KISSING, you will find yourself missing a tail due to the fact you will have been swung very hard by it, do you understand me."

Looking Afya over once, Nala then stepped back beside the red maned lion and Charlie.
"Well lets get moving before everything is to late "

Charlie had paused waiting for Nala and Fire and their companions, but enough was enough, he wasn't about to start taking orders from anyone even her for now, she might be royalty but where was she when Seleter and the cubs needed her... oh no, she was off galavanting around somewhere with her boyfriend, so she could just listen to him for a change, whether she liked it or not.

"Well lets get moving before everything is to late " , the black lion turned his head to stare at Nala, a slow hiss coming from between his lips as he fought to control his anger.

"WHAT"
Charlie began to throw at her, and then calmed himself and quietened his tone.
" do you think I am waiting for...flowers to fall from the sky.. hmm ?"
Leaning in closer to both Fire and the lioness, he looked past them to the others just standing there staring at him.
" I have been waiting for you two to make up your mind, but seeing you can't, you can just follow me, and then perhaps you can meet the famous brother of Zira."

Loosing his patience, the black lion threw himself back and turned at the same time. digging his claws into the ground he surged through the bushes, not bothering that they were snapping at his face and pulling at his fur, leaving specks of blood on the crushed leaves in his wake.

Seleter had no idea of what was going on around her. In fact, she wasn't even aware of her own existence. So exhausted she was that her mind had forced her into a completely dreamless slumber so that she may regain her full strength.

Though her mind laid dormant, her body did not. All her senses worked just like before, and her brains registered all that information the senses gathered, but she simply could not handle what her senses informed her. And so as it was, the golden cheetah did feel Sukari cleaning her wound, but she would not move at all. Even her reflexes seemed to have gone - she felt a slight stinging feeling when Sukari cleaned the wound, but without working reflexes she couldn't pull away.

And like this she laid there at the ground, only her breathing and heart beat telling that she was still alive.

Zira wasn't sure what she should do. In fact, she hadn't known every since she had parted ways with her brother.

Brother... A very uncharacteristic smile played on her muzzle for a while as she walked through the savannah. A part of her was happy that she had been given the chance to meet Kikome once again. But as soon as she registered the happy feeling, it vanished as did her smile. She had her duties, and she had to inform the group's most recent location to Scar as soon as possible.

Before that, however, she headed towards the waterhole for a drink as well as to clean her wounds. Her left front leg was aching, and with her walking on all the time the cuts Kikome had given her remained open and kept bleeding. She had to get it cleaned, an infection or a massive blood loss weren't things she wanted right now.

And so, as soon as she reached the water, she bend down and drank, minding her wounded leg. Now that she drank water to satisfy her thirst, she noticed another ache she had almost forgotten. Her lower jaw was hurting. The force Kikome had used to slam her to the ground had really been massive.

The stripe headed pulled her head up and sunk her injured leg into the water. She didn't dare to rub the wounds, so she simply let the water soak dirt and blood away as much as possible before she pulled the foot away and laid down to lick the wounds clean.

While she did this, thoughts of the group floated around in her mind. She would need to inform where the group was all right. It was what she wanted, they had caused so much trouble to her already. But still, for some reason she felt like she shouldn't, knowing well that if she did Kikome too would be in danger.

Zira frowned with a deep growl, baring her fangs at her own reflection on the water. What was she thinking?! It didn't matter if Kikome would stick around the group. It was his problem, not hers!

But he was still family...

The stripe headed had had enough and with a swift swipe she hit the water, breaking her reflection. She rose to her feet and headed towards the Pride Rock, hoping that Scar would be there - or come meet her down at the grass lands if he noticed her coming, for she really would have wanted to save her wounded leg from the climb.

Kyto looked at Nala and had a scared look on his face. He was shaking all over his body. After Nala padded away a bit Kyto asked Afya. "Can I go play on the ground? Please Afya." Kyto made a sad face as a quick breeze came along and ruffled up his fur. Kyto laughed histaricly he couldnt stop. Then Kyto thought for a second. Nala said no talk about kissing but i can always talk about her and Fire n other ways. Then Kyto shouted as loud as he could "Nala and Fire sitting in a tree ............" Kyto didnt dare say the rest for the sake of his tail.

Then Kyto said to Afya "Wait I change my mind I want to play with Fire. Please Afya, Please Please Please." Kyto was grinning waiting for a response from Afya.

Fire looked around in the group after coming out of a slight daze. For some reason, his mind had been in the cloud lately, trying to reason what was going on around him and what had happened these last few days. Yet, Charlie had clearly gotten his attention from the way that the lion had snapped in his face, wide-eyed expression showing off as he then watched him dart through the bushes. "Hmmm.. Seems he's gonna clear a path for us.. Though, he does have a valid point. We need to get moving.."

He then heard Kyto chanting an ever-so-famous line from when he was young. He then walked over to Kyto and whispered into his ear and finished the line "K-I-S-S-I-N-G.." From then, he nipped the cub's neck and tossed him into his mane once again, turning his head to speak it quietly, barely in range of Nala's hearing. "First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a cubbie in a cubby leavage"... He then smirks as he finishes that line, wondering and maybe even hoping secretly that Nala heard him.
