"Yea, Zira" she replied and then looked around to make sure no hyenas were near to hear her.
"She's just one cruel lioness."
Then she sighed again and looked at the savannah.
"And then there's Scar. Everything started to go wrong when he became the King. I'm just not so sure anymore if I'll have a future here in the Pride Lands. The fact is that I haven't seen many cheetahs here for a long time. And all the food we used to be hunting has vanished. I just wish this all would be over and back to normal, like when Mufasa ruled here..."
She looked down to her paws and sighed.

Fire didn't know what to say about what he just heard. His ears drooped a little and he walked over to Seleter, looking at her with a gaze of concern.
"I didn't know that it was that bad. Nala told me a little about it, but this sounds serious."
He nuzzled Seleter's chin up with his muzzle to bring her head up. Fire speaks to Seleter in a soft and calm voice.
"I wish there was something I could do to help..." Fire looked at Seleter with a half a smile, half a frown. "In the meantime, let's just try not to worry about it." His smile became a little brighter. "Besides, you have company, and I think I need somewhat of a guide to show me around this place." He then has a good grin on his face and his tail flickers a little. "You seem to know your way around, what do ya say?"

Nala smiled at Sukari... " Yes, i'm taking you to have a drink and then you can have a little nap."
Nala said and picked sukari up and put her on her back.
She padded down to the waterhole, looked around to make sure there were no hyena's and put Sukari down next to the water's edge.
" There you go..."

Seleter smiled at Fire.
"I only know the area around the Pride Lands, not the Pride Rock."
She looked at the waterhole where Nala was with Sukari. She smiled and then took another look around. She still couldn't see Zira, who was still searching for Scar.
"We have to wait untill Nala gets back and ask her to show us the Pride Rock" she said and kept smiling.

Fire walks in front of Seleter and extends his front legs and bends his back legs, swishing his tail back and forth with a playful grin on his face.

Seleter looked at Fire. Her face had no expression.
Then her eyes flashed and with a quick move she stood up and ran around Fire. She was still very young and she would propably never get rid of playfullness.
"Let's play tag!" she said to Fire and Pizeera.
Then she slightly touched him with her paw.
"You're it!" she said, grinned and ran away, giggling. She wasn't using her full speed, otherwise she would get tired easily and Fire and Pizeera wouldn't catch her.

Sukari smiled at Nala and ran to the edge of the waterhole and dunked her face in the water, covering all her head, she then lifted her head out oif the water then started to take a long drink. After she was finshed, she shook her head to get the excess water off and turned and smiled at Nala.
hey eyelids slowly got heavier and she yawned. She lay on her back with her belly showing.
"My Paws are well tired" she said with a drowzy voice
Sukari was only meant to be staying like this for a few moments to get her paws to rest for a bit, but she soon accidently fell asleep and turned on her side and started to go into a deep comfy sleep.

Fire eyed Kirsui as she ran around, feeling her paw touch his leg and then jumped around to tag Kirsui back, but when he jumped around, Kirsui was already half way down the rock and he couldn't catch her if he tried to run as fast as he can to catch her. He would have to find other means... He turned to Pizeera and called out to her, "Come on, Pizeera. Let's hurry...If you help me, i'll let you get a head start."
He winked at her and then hurried down the rock, in hopes of that he is not too behind from Kirsui.

Nala smiled and picked up Sukari, not to wake her and padded back up to where the others were. When she got there they were all running around playing tag. SHe motionted to them to come with her, as she walked into a cave.

Pizeera was running around trying to catch Seleeter, then Nala came. She wanted them to follow so he walked into the caves after her.

Seleter stopped running as she saw Nala. She obviously wanted them to follow her.
"Fire, I think Nala wants us to go to the caves with her" she said and then raced to the caves. There she turned to look to Fire and waited him before she would go inside.

Fire saw Nala approach the cave and then heard Kirsui from a distance to come to the cave. He ran up the rocks to where Kirsui was and entered the cave, wondering what Nala wanted.

Nala walked down and put Sukari on a rock in the corner, so she could continue sleeping.
There was no one else in this particular cave as they were all probably with Scar and Zira.
" Now.. i will give you all a tour in a short moment.. but first..." She paused.
"You all know.. Zira and Scar.. are well.. not very nice animals. If they tell you to do something... please do not refuse... they will use violence to get what they want..." She said..
"But... if she is making you hurt someone.. then you can decline... but before she says anything... run off..." She started walking again... "I am about to show you where to go.." She said and grinned.
"Would anyone like to take Sukari?"

Fire looks over at the sleeping lioness on the rock, smiling a little as he remembers when he was a cub of the days he spent sleeping all the time in his pride... He then looked over to Seleter and nods to her.
"Sukari seems to know you more and I am afraid that I might lose her."
He looks back over to Nala again. "I am still confused as to what I am supposed to do."

Seleter smiled to Fire, carefully picked Sukari up and placed the cub on her back. Then she turned and looked at Nala.
"So, lets get going then" she said. She was a little bit excited to be surrounded by lions, but she was slowly getting used to it.
Atleast she wasn't lonely anymore.
Outside at the savannah Zira was getting annoyed. She couldn't find Scar anywhere. She went to the waterhole and took a drink. Then she heard laughing.
How delightful... she thought and walked to the direction of the laugh. Hyenas...
She went up a small hill and saw a small group of hyenas. They hadn't noticed her yet. She slowly walked behind them. One of them was clearly telling a joke to the others. The other hyenas stopped laughing and stared at Zira.
"Now, that you all have had some fun", Zira started in a cold tone of voice, "lets get back to reality. Where's Scar?"
The hyenas didn't know and more annoyed Zira left them. She was heading back to the Pride Rock, hoping Scar would have returned there.

Sukari Stirred in her sleep and her eyes lifted open a little, She felt like she was moving, she openeed her eyes a little more. she soon figured out she was on seleters back, and seleter was walking.
"mu....Seleter, where are we going? what are we doing?" she said in a weak voice"

Nala smiled at Fire. "Well.. it depends if you want to stay here with us.. or go back to being a wanderer..." She said and looked at Sukari, who was talking to Seleeter. " If you wish to stay with us.. well.. just try and keep out of Zira and Scar's way. That's all i have to say.." She said and started walking outside the cave. "Well, lets start the tour before i show you my secret place.." She grinned at them all again. " That cave we were just in... that is the main cave... where we all sleep." She walked a couple of steps next to it, to a smaller cave. " This.. this is where Zira and Scar sleep.. and scar spends most of his unused time.." She walked back out of the cave and looked up at a stairway of rocks. " That would be the top of pride rock.. where we can look out over the pridelands." She said and smiled. She walked past the stairway and underneath the top of pride rock which came to a path, heading down hill. " Down there is where all us lioness go during the day when we are not out exploring or hunting." She looked around at the bottom of the path. There where a few tree's... but mainly lots of different big rocks everywhere, for the lionesses to lay on during the day. Nala turned around and started walking back the way they had came. " Are you ready for my secret place?" She said eagerly. ______________________---------------------------------------------------------------___________________________-------------------------------------- Pizeera followed Nala around the Pride rock through this tour. He nodded eagerly when she asked if they were ready to see her secret place. As Fire passed the cave where Zira and Scar slept, he grinned as he was thinking what Scar's "unused time" was. The tour of the rock was very unique to Fire since he had never seen something like this before. As Nala mentioned if Fire was ready to see her secret spot, his thoughts were still concentrating on naughty, but shook off the thoughts as he was responding to her question.
"Yes, I am ready."

Seleter smiled at Sukari.
"We are just taking a tour around the Pride Rock" she replied to Sukari and went after Nala. As she looked to the cave where Zira and Scar used to sleep she couldn't see anyone.
Seleter sighed for relief.
Then she continued to follow Nala as she showed them the other places at the Pride Rock.
"I'm ready" Seleter replied when Nala finally asked about showing the secret place.

Nala smiled and started walking again, past the main cave and through some bushes, there was a pathway that winded down and underneath pride rock. She walked in and sat down on a rock and waited for the others to follow.
Pizeera nodded his head as they started to walk off. They went through some bushes and down a windy path. When they got there he smiled slightly as he looked out of a small hole in the wall. Through this hole you could see the sky. The sun was slowly setting.

Seleter followed Nala and Pizeera, carrying Sukari on her back. She went through bushes and then walked down a path. As she reached Nala and Pizeera, she looked around surprised.
"This is great!" she said. She placed Sukari on a flat rock in one corner of the cave. Then she sat down beside the rock, still looking around in amazement. She had never really liked to sleep in a cave, but this one seemed to be ok.

Fire noticed that Nala and Seleter were staring to walk again and he continued on with them, looking around at the rock that they were exploring. As he followed Nala through a path and some bushes, he entered a cave and gazed in awe at the place Nala had shown both him, Seleter, and Pizeera,
"Wow...This is so cool..."
He then sat down in front of Nala sitting on the rock, waiting for her to speak.

" You guys are the only other animals that i have told about this.." She said to them.
"Besides Simba." She thought to herself. " So don't tell anyone else... but you are welcome to come here anytime you like, you can sleep here if you want... this is where i normally sleep." Nala said looking at them all.
"It's beautiful at night, you can see the moona dn stars.." She said staring at the window like hole.

Fire nods in agreement as Nala finishes speaking.
"Yeah. I will use this to get away from Scar or Zira."
Fire was still looking around as he was speaking.
"Wow...Nala, this is absolutely amazing..."
Back at Fire's old pride, the only thing that Fire thought was beautiful was the tree that glowed in the distance from where he slept. When he saw this cave, he grabbed hold of a new perception as to what beautiful really was. The moon shone through the hole of the cave and touched down onto the floor. He smiled happily as he saw this. His tail flickered a little as he lets a murr escape from his muzzle and closes his eyes, letting his imagination wander for a moment.

Seleter yawned a bit and layed down.
"I quess you won't mind if I'll sleep a bit" she said to the others. She had had a long day meeting all these lions and then walking to Pride Rock. It had made her tired.
Seleter curled on a ball, covering her face with her tail. She was still young and her sleeping habits from her cubhoodnes hadn't faded away yet. Then she yawned again.
"Good night" she whispered and sighed deeply, smiling a bit. Then she slowly fell asleep.

Fire's eyes open a little when he hears Seleter yawn and then winks at her, nodding her goodnight.
"'Night Seleter. We'll see ya in the morning."
Fire then walks over to Nala, who was staring out from the hole at the sky. He sits down beside her and gazes out from the hole as well. He speaks to Nala in a calm voice.
"When I was in my pride, I was considered an outcast from my brothers... and my father for that matter... They didn't want another lion in the family, because there would be too much problems in who would take over the throne. When that time came... Since I was the weakest and youngest one, my brothers exiled me. At least, that was their plan... My other brother, Kiatan, thought that I could come back and try to take over the pride... Luckily, I was nearby to hear their conversation and left the pride at sunset so that my two brothers couldn't track me as easily. And, they're pretty lazy, so they wouldn't go chasing after me. Once the sun rised over the hills, I thought to myself, 'How can I live when my own family can't accept me?' I had been walking for days, living off the animals and bugs that passed by. I learned to become an avid hunter from my experience. Once a week passed by, my food supply was running low as I crossed that horrid desert place... I would call it the "Outlands"... And then I finally found your land that was very lush and had plentiful water that I drank very heartily. Then, when I saw you, I had hope because you are someone that had not seen who I was and I wanted to meet you. When you accepted me here, I had experienced happiness I had not felt in a long time... And I just want to say... Thank you..."
Fire smiles at Nala and blushes a little.

Sukari opened her eyes, she suddenly panicked when she found she was lying down alone, she stood up but then saw the other lions, and she was in this beutifle cave.
she saw seleter lying down and seen fire talking to nala, she decided not to go to them and go into the middle of their conversation.
she walked over to seleter who was fast asleep, she lay down by her and rest her head on the end of seleter's tail near her face, she then cuddled up to her and curled into a ball just like seleter. Ever since she met seleter, Seleter acted like a mother to her, even though she was a cheetah. Sukari felt safe everytime she was near her.
Sukari soon fell asleep cuddled up to her.

Nala turned as she heard a voice, seeing Fire sitting next to her.
She listened to his story then turned and looked him in the eyes.
" I am so sorry about your past, but i'm sure you can start a new life here, with all of us." She said and smiled.
"And thank you too.. before you and the others came, i only really had 2 other friends. My mum, and my mum's best friend." She said. "After, the Simba business and all.." She mumbled that last sentance as she turned to Seleeter. She saw Sukari huddled up with Seleeter.
"Aww.." She said to herself.
"And it's fine, you can stay here anytime.." She lay down on the rock she was currently on, and turned her gaze to the hole. She loved to lay there and star at the stars. " She hadn't been in her for a while, but she was happy to be in there, with her friends.

He stared back at her in the eyes as well with a soft smile.
"I will always feel accepted when I am here..."
Fire turned to look at where Nala was looking at. He smiled and giggled very softly so that he wouldn't wake Seleter and Sukari up.
"Heh heh. Awww. That's very cute."
Fire walked to lay down near Nala to gaze up at the hole with his back to the ground. He was glad to have found someone that was kind and caring as Seleter and Nala. He smiled and starts murring from his chest.

Pizeera woke up from the place he had fallen asleep in the night before and looked around.
Yep. Everyone was still asleep. He got up and silently crept out of the cave. He slithered through the bushes then ran down the steps of pride rock and made his way down to the waterhole.
The waterhole was still and deserted except for a few birds. He bent over and lapped up some water. He looked up at pride rock and saw a figure watching him.
"I hope that's not Scar..." He thought to himself.
