Fire chuckled when Bahreeka and Amaiza started calling spots for the cave. "As long as I have a cover over my body, I am fine..." He says with a smile, walking into it and finding it suprisingly warm for the outside tempature of the night. When Meri was settling in, he noticed that she was acting afraid and worried, her body actions showing that farily well. He decided that he wouldn't talk to her tonight. After all, she had gone through a lot these past couple of days.
With that in mind, Fire lay his body near Meri and closed his eyes as he re-collected the thoughts for the night, laying on his back with his paws resting on his chest.

OOC: My character will come into contact with all the others in the morning most likely. This is just gonna kinda set the scene up for when they run into each other.
IC:
The small form of a greyish brown lioness moved slowly across the grasslands. She held her head up slightly as she walked, knowing that danger could be anywhere, especially as the day was coming to a close. She needed to find shelter real soon. Being a lone lioness out on the African plains at night wasn't the best position for her. She'd had her share of being the victim of others... Her glowing purple orbs scanned her surroundings til they spotted a small forest in the distance. She quickly headed towards the trees and bushes. It wasn't too much protection, but it'd do for the night. The plains had seemd kind of empty as of late.
Thoughts raced through her head as she continued trotting along. She'd been out here, alone, for a long time. In all honesty, she wanted to run across someone... another soul to at least speak with for a time. But there were so many dangers when being alone, and she let caution get the best of her. She sighed aloud to herself, then quietly muttered a prayer to the Kings. "Please hearken to my voice, Great Kings. I pray that I can soon find someone... anyone. I'm so lonely... Please... hear me."
She eventually reached her destination and surveyed the area. Once seeing that it was clear and safe, she settled down in the center of the tiny forested area. Her sides heaved as she was tired from running, and she laid her head down onto the cool earth beneath her. Her eyelids dropped, and within minutes, she was asleep.

The night passed without incedent. Zander finally fell asleep hours after the others as his lids began to droop from watching the unchanging stars. His dreams were quiet for the night, no visions of his father, no black maned male telling him what to do next. The morning sun quickly came over the horizon and woke the slumbering Zander as it fell upon his body in the mouth of the cave. He blinked his eyes as he woke, yawning and stretching out his forearms as he began to stand. He then reclined to a sitting position as he watched the morning sun make its way into the sky about them. He turned back to see the other three still sleeping. He'd let them rest some more. They had a long journey ahead of them.

Meri had been sleeping peacefully. At some point of her sleep she had rolled to her side. Her long hair was covering her face. Meri slowly woke up. She didn't open her eyes just yet and thought about falling back to sleep. But she felt something tickling her nose. It was her hair. Meri opened her eyes and saw her hair covering her face. Oh great... she thought. Lifting her head up she let out a yawn. She then streched herself ans stood up, shaking her head a bit to make her hair go to the right side of it, hiding her scar and blind eye. Meri looked around. She saw Zander was awake already, but the others were still asleep. Meri walked to the entrance. "Morning" she said to Zander while taking a look outside.

Zander looked down as he heard a small voice beside him. Smiling, he saw that Meri had awaken as well. "Good morning, Meri." He then looked back to the lands that surrounded their small cave. "I hope you slept well?" Taking in a deep breath, he closed his eyes, thinking of the day's journey that lay in front of them. He then awaited Meri's answer or for the others to wake as well.

At first Meri didn't reply, she just looked outside. "Fairly well" she finally said. The truth was that she actually had been sleeping better than in ages. But since she usually didn't speak that much, she choose not to say that. With a slight smile Meri sat down, waiting for the others to wake up. She was wondering what kind of day this would become.

In the distance a cheetah was walking slowly towards them, he walked with a heavy tired step, and even for a cheetah he was painfully thin, things had been hard lately and he had been losing food to the scavengers, by himselve he did't have the strength to fight them, so he had to retreat... to often. He stumbled a few times and his head hung low, he was so tired... he just wanted to sleep...

Bahreeka opened her eyes and saw that the sun had come up. As usual, being the cheetah that she is, she got up and raced past Zander and Meri. "Morning!!" She said as she turned to them, still running. She watched as they dissapeared into the distance, she was just going for a morning run, so she would be back soon. All of a sudded she came to a stop. There was another scent. She looked around, for any sight of another presence. She saw another cheetah, not far away from her. She slowly walked up to the cheetah, not to scare him. "Umm.. are you okay??" She said staring at the unknown animal.
Meanwhile back at the cave Amaiza yawned and opened her eyes. "Wakey wakey.. " She said nudging Fire gently, before stepping over him and walking up to Zander and Meri. "Where's Bahreeka??" She asked them looking around the cave noticing that shen was gone.

Cheabosa stumbled again at the sudden voice for he had not known anyone was around and fell over onto his side, breaving heavy his vision blurry he layed there a moment before weakly saying "Wh-ho... are you?" he could barely make out this shape next to him, or whether it was friend or foe and he continued "if you are going to kill me... just do so..." he just did't have the strength for anything.

"I am Bahreeka.." She said as she bent over pulling the cheetah onto her back. "I am not going to hurt you.. i will help you." She said and rapped his front paws around her neck. She ran as fast as she could back to the cave and lay him down on the ground by the entrance. "Guys.. i need some help.. can someone get us some food or something??" She asked bending over the cheetah.

Cheabosa layed there, just breathing heavy, he did't know where he was, it seemed cooler whereever it was, and he had no idea who the company was, only that this Bahreeka was some kind of female and obviously not looking to eat a starving cheetah.

While waiting for the others to help she lay down next to the cheetah. "By the way, i am also a cheetah, so there is no need to be scared of me. And everyone else around here are lions. We are on lets say.. a big adventure.." She said smiling, trying to calm the cheetah down.

Cheabosa had never heard of cheetah's and lion's working together before, at least not where he had come from "Lions? You live with Lions?" he sounded suprised even though there was't much reaction on his face.

I set out across the land looking for easier more plentiful food and that was when you found me..." he replied to her.

Cheabosa just layed there, he did't answer, he closed his eyes, his breathing very visible through the skin that had drawn tight over his rib cage, so weak... he just wanted to sleep...

Zander watched as Bahreeka flew past Meri and himself, opening his mouth to say hello, but she was far gone before the words had a chance to escape his muzzle. He looked over at Meri and shrugged, a smile on his face. Moments later, when Amaiza approached them, asking where Bahreeka was, he shook his head slightly. "There is no telling with that one..."
Just then, he saw the cheetah speeding back towards them, another spotted object resting on her back. He rushed out when she layed down the starved cheetah near the entrance. He looked down at the animal, a concerned look on his face. "What happened?" he asked as he looked over to Bahreeka. She then said something about getting food for the poor cheetah, and Zander nodded his head. Leaping to his feet, he started off into the plains around them in search of food. He scanned the area, not seeing anything for as far as the eye could see. His eyes then rested upon a small wooded area and he crept into it, very amble on his feet. He kept low to the ground and as quiet as lionly possible (hehe, humanly possible...I'm dumb). He then spotted a clearing and in the midst of it, a greyish brown animal. Zander grinned, thinking it to be a slumbering antelope or something. It's back was turned to him, so he had no idea what it was. He crept closer and closer, carefully planning each step so as not to wake the sleeping animal. He stood there at the edge of the clearing then, waiting for his time to attack, planning it out perfectly.

Amaiza also rushed over to Bahreeka and the new cheetah, who seemed to be in poor condition by the looks and sounds of him. "What happened to you??" Amaiza asked as she bent over the poor Cheetah. "I am Amaiza by the way." She added.

"Okay, i'll be back soon.." She smiled and ran off in search of a stream. She finally came to a small stream in the middle of some trees. She ripped of a big leaf from a tree and a branch with her teeth. The leaf was a bowl type shape. She hung it off the stick and dunk it in the water. She lifted it back out and started making her way back towards their camp. When she got their she hung it off a tree close to Cheabosa. "There you go, fresh from a stream." Amaiza said smiling.

Cheabosa moved to the leaf and slowly licked water from the leaf, it was fresh even though at that point he wouldn't of cared if it hadn't been quite so. He layed back down and awaited the return of the one who had said about getting some food, the place hadn't seemed that full of life... or at least to his nose when he had been walking, that food could so easily be found.

As the morning came about, the form of the lioness stirred. Her eyelids fluttered open as sunlight stremed through the treetops onto her face. Slowly sitting up, she yawned, baring her large curved fangs. Then she reached her front legs out to stretch some, her claws exposing themselves as her digits extended. After a moment, she relaxed her body again, looking about her. The small froested area was silent but filled with light. Carefully standing to her paws, she shook her body clean of any dirt and dust and then began to walk out of her cover. Her large purple orbs scanned her surroundings for any danger, then she started forward into the grasslands again.
As she was padding along, she realized how terribly thirsty she was. Her tongue felt dry and swollen almost. There had to be water around here somewhere. Sniffing, she tried her best to pick up any hint of moisture in the air. For a little while, she was unsuccessful but she ultimately was able to pick up a small sign of water. Her paws carried her lithe form over the dry earth and towards refreshment. She knew that she'd most likely need something to eat soon as well. But food was something that she could easily hold off on. Water was more important to her, and she needed that now more than anything. So she moved along, her thoughts still wandering off on the topic of other lions. She hoped that the kings had her her prayer last night...

Zander watched as the greyish brown animal he had thought was some sort of prey stirred and woke up, revealing itself to be a lioness instead. He closed his eyes and silently repremended himself for being so stupid. He ducked down even farther into the brush and bushes so as not to be seen. He didn't want her to think he was some sort of creep, spying on her while she slept. As he watched her go back out into the grasslands, he sighed in relief, but then realized what he had gone out to do. The cheetah needed food! He slinked out of the forested area and scanned the land for food. Of course, the only thing he could make out was the form of the lioness. Perhaps he could ask her for assistance in finding some food for the starving cheetah...and the rest of his party.
Slowly, he trotted up to the lioness, wondering if she was friendly or not. He continued to look around his surroundings for a sight of some food, but to no avail. When he finally reached the lioness, he slowed to a walk. "Uhhmm..Hello there." He looked at her with the friendliest smile he could muster

Bahreeka smiled at Amaiza thanking her for getting the water. She then turned to the cheetah infront of her. "I'm sure Zander will be back with some sort of food in a little while.." She reassured him. "Are you feeling any better??"

Meri had been sitting in silence, watching curiously at the new cheetah. Poor thing... she thought after seeing the condition he was in. He must be starving! Meri let out a slight sigh as she turned to look outside again. Her hair was covering the right side of her face, hiding the long scar and her blind eye from the cheetah. She seemed to fall into her thoughts again, not really noticing what was going on around her. A slight breeze blew from outside to the entrance of the cave. When Meri felt it she lifted her head slightly and closed her eyes, clearly enjoying the slight breeze. Then she noticed something in the air. She opened her eyes and looked outside, searching for something with her gaze. She had smelled an unknown lioness somewhere nearby. She couldn't see her yet, but the scent told that there was a lioness around. Meri looked at the others from her eyecorner. She didn't mention anything about the scent of the lioness to the others.
