*Prides Of The Savannah*

[Kirsui]

Tef continued her way from tree to tree, still looking for a place for better view. She wanted to see how the situation with the two lions would end and would Bleak do something. She had now gone around the spot where the lions were.
Then she suddenly heard something. It was a faint voice that she barely heard. But she could tell someone was talking.
For a moment Tef hesitated but then she left to see who was talking. She jumpped to another tree and then climbed down. She continued to the direction of the talking very quietly, since she didn't want to show she was there.

After Tef had been walking a moment the talking came stronger. She was sure she had heard the other voice before, she just couldn't remember where. Quietly she crawled behind a bush and looked from there.
Tef gasped as she saw who the other talker was. The feeling almost made her to run away.
There, just behind the bushes Tef was hiding, was Legacy with someone Tef didn't regognize at first. But as Legacy mentioned the other lions name, she remembered.
Slowly she tried to back away from the bushes and get as far as possible from Legacy and Avatarin. Then her eyes shot wide oped when she felt she stepped on a twig, making it crack.
Good job, Tef, she thought annoyed. Now you're in trouble.

Avatarin suddenly heard something not far from them.
''L-legacy.. drop me down''
Avatarin said and got on his feet, able to stand up proberly. He sharpened his claws and looked into the bushes, he could smell something.
''We are not.. alone''
He said and looked sharply over at Legacy.

[Pulsar]

Mino knew he was spotted. Standing up he let out a sigh then looked at the lion.
“I don’t want any trouble, I’m just looking for a friend… that’s all, I wont fight you unless I have to…”
Mino said in a warning tone.
Who am I kidding, this guy could walk all over me with no trouble… why am I here, this is seeming like a stupid idea every second I’m not back in my own prides land…
He thought as he stood there waiting for the lion’s response.

“Don’t dare make a demand to me Avatarin…”
Legacy said, still annoyed that he had to carry him back to safety.
Legacy had heard the snap, but he kept walking on with Avatarin on his back.
“Tef! Come out here and walk with me, I’ve got a few word to speak with you….”
Legacy said in a deep treacherous voice as he continued walking. He wasn’t sure if Tef would listen to him or not. But if she ran, he wasn’t going to chase her, he had to get Avatarin back to safety then take care of those problems he had been spending most of the morning dealing with.

[Lorien]

Gargoroth snickered. He hadn't had a friend since he was a cub. He then realized that this lion probably belonged to some sort of pride, whose land he was now tresspassing on. He decided not to confront this matter unless the other spoke of it.

"Good, we're mutual. I won't try and hurt you if you don't try to hurt me." He stood up from his reclining position and looked again at the lion before him. "You're lucky you got me in a good mood," he said, and he meant it.

[Kirsui]

Tef hesitated.
Nice one Tef, she thought. Then she sighed and stood up. She walked silently closer to Legacy, still ready to run if needed. She had absolutely no idea what Legacy wanted to talk about so she kept silent.
She gave a quick look for Avatarin. He was hurt, and it seemed bad.
I wonder what happened... she thought. Then she came annoyed by that thought. Pff... Like, what does it even matter what happened?

[Pulsar]

Mino frowned.
“Ha! Me? More like you. I could take you out with no problem….”
Mino said as a smirk appeared on his face, but at the back of his mind he was screaming at himself.
WHAT ARE YOU!? STUPID! Don’t entice him, what kind of idiot taunts a foe much superior to them? Your gonna get yourself killed!
Mino wasn’t sure why he said what he did, maybe he was trying to act tougher so the other lion would back down, but that was doubtful.

Legacy stopped for a moment as Tef walked up beside him. He quickly swung his arm and smacked Tef across the face with the back of his paw. The hit echoed slightly. It wasn’t enough to draw blood or knock her over but it was enough for it to seriously hurt.
“That’s for running away…”
He said as he stared at her with a blank face before looking forward and continuing to walk.

Avatarin's jaw opened up on high as he saw Legacy's paw hitting the side of Tef's head. Ava breathed heavily, hating himself for not doing something, but he couldn't. He didn't want to say anything to Legacy, since he actually was carrying Ava all the way back to shelter.
Ava looked with concern over at Tef, not letting his sight on her go away for one second. Now.. what if she would just run away once again?
Avatarin couldn't say anything, he didn't no if it would offend Legacy in any way, and he didn't want to.. never.

[Lorien]

Gargoroth, amuzed by the comment, looked Mino up and down, noting his small frame. He chuckled softly to himself. "Ha, you take me out?" The smile that played on his face then dissappeared as a stern look formed his countenance. His eyes narrowed upon the smaller male. "Is that a challange?" He didn't want to fight, but he had his pride to think about. He wouldn't go around letting weaker lions think they can take him. It wouldn't be fair to either of them.

[Kirsui]

Tef kept silent. The smack really hurted.
"Why don't you die and go to hell father!" she said annoyed and then suddenly ran just infront of Legacy, preventing him from walking.
"You won't get me to return to the pride by that" she said then. "Not before this stupid war between Jahina and Otana ends."
She took a deep breath and gathered her thoughts.
"Why is everyone even figthing? What's the point to continue a war that has no reason, or has had one but no-one remembers it?"
She knew Legacy could give her another smack for that, but she didn't really care. She stared at him with her green eyes flashing.

Avatarin's eyes widened and looked up at Legacy with amazement.
''Father?!'' Avatarin said in awe. His eyes glanced over at Tef, who were staring blankly into Legacy's eyes, maybe expecting another smack. Oh god Legacy don't do something you will regret later, Ava said to himself and frowned at the thought.
''Tef... get out of the way.. please'' Ava said, he didn't want Legacy to hurt her in any way, since he already knew what Legacy was capable of.

[Pulsar]

Mino stepped back.
“Eh yes?”
He said confused. He was getting worried; he could feel his heart beat against his chest. The fright wasn’t helping him think straight. All he could think about was fighting this lion even though he didn’t want to, and that of saving Fire.

Legacy ignored Avatarin for the moment.
He glared at Tef.
“Insolent brat, how dare you talk to your elder like that!”
He said as he grabbed her by the neck and lifter her off the ground with one arm.
“I’ve killed for less… stupid child….”
He closed his eyes and took a breath.
“You are my daughter, so I’ll be lenient….”
He said as he threw her to one side.
“Don’t get in my way again… I’d deal with your disgraceful attitude, but I’m to busy…”
He glared at her for a moment. And then continued to walk.

Ava shaked his head at her and just wanted to walk over to her and help her up on her legs.. it was the first time in a long time that Avatarin showed symphati for someone Legacy wanted to kill. He just couldn't watch this happening.
As they walked by Tef, lying in the grass, Ava held out a paw and stroked her foreleg.
''S-sorry...'' He managed to whisper, making sure Legacy wouldn't hear it. Ava shaked his head again and looked down into the ground as a tear ran down his cheek. This war wouldn't end... not when Legacy was in charge..

[Lorien]

Gargoroths blood pumped vigorously through his veins with the added adrenaline. His claws extracted instinctively. A low growl issued from his muzzle as his teeth bared themselves. He still didn't want to fight, tried to keep his aggression inside. He didn't want to be like his father. He couldn't turn out like him. But it was happening, the bloodthirsty beast in him escaping. Before he lashed out, his senses caught hold of him, slowing him down, making him think.

"Weren't you looking for some friend of yours? If you get killed, what will happen to them?" Although he felt like he was backing down from a challange, he was trying to be rational. He'd give the lion a chance.

[Kirsui]

Tef didn't reply, she just layed there. She stared at the trees. They reminded her of someone she hadn't seen for a long time.
"I'm glad mom's not here to see this" she said. She wasn't sure if Legacy heard her or not, but she hoped he did. Her eyes turned deep green.
Suddenly she jumpped on her feet and ran to the jungle. She was heading deep inside it, where she wouldn't meet any lions. After running a while she climbed to a tree and layed down. She was thinking her mom again, and that always made her sad.
Tef sighed and gave herself to the song of the trees. She listened how the wind blew through the leaves, making it's own sound. She started to feel relaxed, but her thoughts ran fast as she was thinking what to do.

[Pulsar]

Mino shook his head and snapped out of it. He looked at the lion and relaxed slightly.
Thank you…
He thought as he looked at the lion.
“Yes if I died that would be a problem, well I guess I should go find them then….”
He said as he body creakily moved before he started to move smoother as he slowly walked past the lion still keeping an eye on the lion.
“It was… interesting meeting you…”
Mino said, deciding to be slightly kind before he left. He turned around and took his eyes of the lion, flinching slightly as if suspecting an attack in the back, but the lion didn’t. Letting out a big sigh, Mino started to walk on.

Legacy had heard Tef, his eyes shot open. A fire of pure rage flared in his eyes, as he gently let Avatarin to the ground. He walked over to a boulder and tree, as his teeth showed. He let out a humongous roar as he smacked his head of the boulder in anger, and as he drew his head back he swung at the tree breaking it in half. Then he picked up a rock and threw it for meters, then picked up another and broke it in his mouth. The rock let out a crack of stain as Legacy’s jaw closed on it. He spat out the pieces and walked over to Avatarin with a calm face. Picked him back up and stood there looking forward for a moment, though in his mind he was looking at Tef in the jungle.
Then Legacy continued on.

[Fire]

Fire growled low at the surroundings that lay before him, knowing that Bleak was in the shawdows, planning his attack. He suddenly gets a grin on his face and then chuckles to himself, grining as he does this. "You always were like your dad, Bleak...Never wanting to face the truth about the harsh reality...Lurking in the shadows of the darkness that encasted him...Come to think of it, he wasn't a very good fighter, either...Well, that goes to show that a lot of things are passed down from the generations, right?"

He took off his guard for a second to look for Tef, unable to find her in the cave. "Tef?" He soon realized his mistake......

[Lorien]

Gargoroth watched as the other lion slowly walked off. He had half a mind to follow after him, a bit of curiosity playing in his mind. Then, he shook his head. Don't get caught up in others' affairs, Gargoroth... He had lived by this for the time he had been on his own. But coming into a land like this...he might not be allowed to live by that anymore. He was almost smack dab in the middle of others' affairs...and it could mean life or death for himself.

He decided to trudge on, going in the opposite direction the other lion was heading. In doing this, he passed the rock in which lioness was hiding behind. He could smell her, but decided not to say anything or accknowledge he knew she was there. He had had enough direct contact for the moment and unless she made herself known, he wouldn't even bother.

Naheera watched as the lion walked past, he'd obiously noticed she was there.
" Well, i'm guessing you don't want to kill me.." She said stepping out from heind the rock and down next to him.
" My name's Naheera.." She said and smiled.
" I understand if you want me to leave you alone.." She said and started to turn in the other direction.

Amaiza watched as Mino ran down the hill in his search for Fire. She wasn't sure what to do, so she went back to their cave to tell Legacy. She looked around and saw his tail going into the caves. She ran in after him and saw another lion on his back. It was Avatarin. She walked up to him and nuzzled him gently. " Are you ok? What happened?" She said. Before he could answer she turned her attention to Legacy.
" Fire was missing... and i was passing by Mino, who was on guard, and asked him if he had seen him.. so he went looking for him..." She said blankly, not sure if she was meant to tell him all this.

[Neola]

Ankh-Su-Namun stepped out of the cave when she saw two male lions and a female one trespassing the Jahina territory. It seemed like they were heading towards her cave.
She thought for a moment...What if they're from the Otana pride, meaning to kill us while we're asleep?
Then she turned around...no, the males were not inside in the cave, they must have got up earlier this morning...nobody here to defend her. She was about to warn her sister and the others when she suddenly recognized the lions as they kept coming closer, Legacy, Avatarin and Amaiza.
"Phew..."she said to herself ans sat down, waiting for them to arrive.

Avatarin panted as they reached the cave and Legacy dropped him down on the floor.
''T-that lion was just too tough of a fighter..''
Ava looked over at Amaiza and put on a small smile at her.
''I'm quite alright, I just need a rest... a big lion.. apparently one from the Otana pride attacked me from behind.. an ambush''
Avatarin said and then glanced over and glared at at Ankh.
''Is something wrong?''
Avatarin asked with an exhausted voice and kept looking at her.

[Lorien]

As Gargoroth continued walking, the lioness that had stood behind the rock came out and greeted him. As he heard her words, his muscles tensed up again, claws extracted. Calm down, buddy...it's only a lioness, and she doesn't mean you any harm. She came up beside him and told him her name. He snickered as she smiled.

"Pleasure," he said bluntly, trying his best to be polite. He then listened as she said the words that he most wanted to hear.
"Yes, you're right. I'd like to be left alone. But nobody here seems to be able to do that." Once again, he was forgetting that he was in a strange land the probably belonged to a pride of lions that could easily rip him limb from limb if he aggitated one of the members.

He turned and looked as the lioness as she turned to leave. "Good, it seems as though someone here has sense in them." He didn't know if his words would provoke her or make her go faster. He didn't really care either way. He'd fought lionesses before.

[Pulsar]

Mino had been running for a few minutes now. Sliding to a halt he looked around. His chest was expanding and contracting fast as he took in deep breaths. He looked around but as of yet had seen no sign of Fire.
“Fire?”
He said, making sure not to say it too loud lest a Jahina hear him. Then he noticed a cave. He frowned slightly, as it could have been full of Jahina lions, but he was ready to take the risk. Slowly sneaking up to the cave he looked in to see Fire looking around the cave, claw extended. At the time it didn’t strike Mino that there must have been another lion nearby which was making Fire agitated, he was just happy to see Fire ok.
“Fire, there you are!”
Mino said walking up to him.
“It’s good to see you are ok dude, but you know better then to come this far into Jahina territory!”
Mino said in a concerned voice.

Legacy after standing there for a moment or so, proceeded to the cave entrance. He glance back at Avatarin.
“Ankh, I know you probably don’t want to waste your time taking care of another lion, but I’m unable to watch Avatarin, you will watch him, until such time that he is healed or I return….”
Legacy said in a demanding tone.
“I shall not be gone long… There are only minor inconveniences’ that I need to see to, I shall be back, and I’ll bring some food….”
He said frowning as he looked at Ankh.
“You and your sister can take turn watching him, as long as one is making sure he is ok….”
Legacy walked outside the cave, stopping momentarily as he lowered his head and closed his eyes. He tilted his head back as he recalled Tefs words. But shaking his head quickly, his eyes opened and they focused on the jungle off in the distance.
“As much as you would like to, you can’t run forever….”
He said in a low voice as he set back out for those problems he was heading to before Avatarin found him.

[Fire]

Fire turned around to look at where the lion was calling his name from and then he recognized Mino. His eyes grew wide and then yelled at Mino, his tone not too powerful, yet, sure enough that Mino got the point.

"Mino! Stay back!!! Bleak is in here......" He warned the lion. He continued to keep watch of where Bleak might strike. "He could be anywhere in this cave. And I know you may be fast, but if Bleak gets a hold of you...I can't do anything to help at the risk of him killing you..."

Naheera smiled fanitly at the lion.
" If you need a sense of direction... just ask.." She said and walked off towards her home lands.
" He was obiously in a bad mood..." She noticed to herself. She wasn't quite sure about that lion... she would tell their leader about him...

Amaiza watched as Legacy ignored her. "He obiously doesn't care then.." She said and walked into the cave. She saw Ankh and Thal.
" Hey guys...." She said and sat down next to Ankh.

[Kirsui]

Bleak stared at Fire.
Why didn't I get rid of him when I had the chance? he thought annoyed. He was angry to himself letting Mino find Fire.
I have to get them out of Jahina territory as fast as I can...
He thought for a moment, thinking what to do. Then he sighed.
"All right you two" he said from his hide. His voice was no more than a whisper but it could be heard in the other side of the cave.
"You two are in Jahina territory. Now get back to your own pride, and make it fast. Othervise I'm forced to attack you."
After he had said this he moved to another spot in the shadows, quietly and slowly. He didn't want them to know where he really was.

Tef woke up. She had fallen asleep while listening the song of the trees around her. She yawned a bit and then climbed down.
"Now, what shall I do next?" she asked herself as she headed away from the jungle. She wasn't going to the direction where Jahina pride's cave was, incase she might run to Legacy if she did so. Instead, she headed to the other way.

When she got away from the jungle she saw the savannah in front of her. She saw a waterhole near by and walked to it. She took a drink from the water and then looked around. She wasn't sure if she was on Jahina or Otana territory, and that made her feel uncomftable.
"Well, I quess it really doesn't matter" she said.
Then she spotted some zebras on the other side of the waterhole. They hadn't seen her yet. Tef hid in tall grass and started to sneak closer.
I hope I'll catch something to eat, she thought as she prepared for the hunt.

Naheera was heading in the direction of the waterhole nearby her secret place. She bent down and had a drink. She saw some zebra's on the other side of the waterhole. She heard a faint russling in the grass... there was someone else here. She was not alone. Naheera crouched down behind a bush, watching what was going to happen, waiting for the animal to pounce.
"I sure hope this is someone i know... in the Jahina pride.." She said trying not to make a sound.

[Kirsui]

Tef stopped when she was close enough to the zebras. She showed her claws and waited for the right moment to jump. She saw a young zebra, who had wandered away from the others. Tef focused on it.
Then suddenly one of the older zebras lifted its head and started to run away.
What? Tef thought confused as she jumpped away wrom her hide and started to chase the zebras. But it was already too late, the zebras managed to escape.
Tef stopped, trying to catch her breath.
"I'm sure I didn't keep any noice" she said quietly. Then she turned and headed back to the waterhole. As she reached it and took a drink she smelled something.
A lioness? she thought. She must have been the reason for the sudden escape of the zebras.
Tef lifted her head and looked around.
"Is someone there?" she asked curiously.

[Neola]

Ankh angrily stared at Legacy, she hated it when he was giving her orders.
But she didn't dare to say anything since she knew what Legacy was capable of.
Then she turned over to Avatarin, she hadn't even noticed his bad injury before.
"Are you okay?" she asked although she could see he obviously wasn't.
"What has happened?"

Thal was watching her sister and the other lions from inside the cave, she had heard what Legacy said..."You and your sister can take turn watching him"...she knew what that meant. As soon as Legacy would have gone for a while, she would have to relieve Ankh of her "duty...it always went like that.
I'll have to sneak out of here she thought and waited for a moment when her sister wouldn't look.

Naheera noticed that it was Tefnut, the liopardess who was currently in the cave with her and the fire maned lion. She came out from behind her bush..
" Sorry i didn't mean to disturb your hunt.." She said staring at the ground.

Amaiza looked at thal. " I can help with the duties if you want..." She said and smiled, it was the least she could do.

Avatarin looked faintly over at Ankh and sighed deeply.
''I w-was watching the borders of our territory w-when this big lion ambushed me from behind and began clawing me and bite me all over.. He was just simply too s-strong *cough*''
Avatarin said as he closed his eyes in pain as he coughed.
''Hey.. and thanks for watching over me Ankh..''
Ava put on a little smile at her but it faded. ''We met his daughter.. Tef as he carried me back to the cave''
Ava said and looked sadly down into the ground.
