Fire hugged her back and then nodded to her advice.
"Yeah. I'll be fine...I will see you around."
Fire saw her walking away towards the jungle and then looks back onto the Otana land. He didn't want to be anywhere near the Jahina land or his own because of the corruption, yet he couldn't leave his friends... including Mino. He was not the type of lion that handles these kind of things very well. He wanted peace between the prides and not have to worry about bad things that shouldn't happen. He was complentating whether to go home or to follow Tef in the jungle.
"Hey Tef... Wait up!..."

Tefnut stopped and looked at Fire. She was a bit confused. "Yes, what was it?" she asked and tilted her head a bit. She looked at him suspiciously for a moment. Fire had this odd expression on his face. Tef looked at the surrounding areas. She was sure that someone from Otana was hiding in tall grass but she didn't know who it was.
Bleak had finished eating. He kept guarding the area, but it was really boring. He didn't want to just sit there and do nothing. Bleak sighed. "I think you'll manage here" he said to Avatarin. "I'll go to take a look around." Without waiting for reply he jumpped down his rock and vanished to the shadows of the jungle.
Bleak was a bit tired, but he never slept with the others in the cave. Most of the time he wanted to be alone. Bleak walked inside the jungle and came to a small river. There was a waterfall. Bleak grinned and jumpped in the river, then walked towards the waterfall and vanished behind it. That was his secret cave. He wasn't sure if the other members of Jahina knew about the cave, but he had a feeling that Legacy was aware of it. Bleak grinned. What does it matter if he knows? he asked himself. He laid down in the shadows of the cave and yawned. "I really need a good sleep right now..." he whispered and smiled. Soon he had falled asleep.

"I want to come with you." Fire spoke to her in an unexpressible tone that he himself couldn't pinpoint.
"I'm tired of it all... I want to be near someone that isn't in more danger than most of us are... And... I need some alone time..."
Fire's eyes gave off a look of hurt and discomfort. He also wanted to spend more time with Tef because Fire hadn't seen her for so long. But he didn't mention that to her. Not yet, anyway...

Tefnut sighed. So he wan't to leave the Otana pride, she thought and turned to look at the jungle. She was thinking. "You may come, if that really is what you wish to do" she finally said after a moment. "But it might be dangerous. I have the skill to survive in the jungle in my blood, thanks to my leopard mother." Then she turned back to Fire. "I'm not worried of your skills to survive there" she said and sighed again. "The jungle is near the Jahina territory and partly belongs to them. If any of them - especially Bleak or Legacy - sees you, I'm not sure if there's anything I can do to help."

Fire nods in agreeing to the terms.
"Yes. I'll try to stay from them as much as possible...Especially Legacy..." He shudders at the thought of Legacy finding him.
He walked closer to Tef and then his muzzle grew a little hint of a smile as he approached her.
"Lead on..."

Tef smiled back. Then she started walking towards the jungle again, this time followed by Fire. "I'm glad I have company" she said. "The way my mom used to live is a bit too lonely for me." She thought about that as they walked. When she had been in the pride, she wanted to be alone. Now that she finally was alone, she wanted company. I hate this feeling, she thought and sighed deeply.
Tef stopped as they reached the first trees of the jungle. "Well, here we go then" she said and grinned a bit. "I have no special place where I spent time, I usually just wander around." She turned to look at Fire. "We could explore a bit, if you want" she said to him. "You may lead the way. I'll say when we get too close to the Jahina area of the jungle."

(Sorry if this seems very long >< )
Mino was walking along staring at the sky, as him mind wandered, he had been walking for quite a bit now, but he hadn’t seem to notice. The wind blew into him as he walked his gaze into the white clouds of the partially clear sky as the sun slowly came through, didn’t seem to be fixed on anything at all. He just looked into the clearness. Then he heard a voice coming from behind him. “What do we have here, a little Otana… Poor thing, you must have lost your way… But I can tell you that you are nowhere near your territory anymore…” The voice said in a malevolent manner. Mino shook his head as his mind returned to earth. Frowning slightly he looked around to see who would be so rude. But his expression quickly changed to a look of horror as he turned around and literally looked up at a lion much bigger then he, who had cast a shadow which engulfed Mino. The lion was practically a foot or two away from Mino. Mino shrunk down to the ground, his tail between his legs as his eyes met that of the other lion’s. He recognised the lion.
No, it can’t be! He thought as if puzzled be the appearance of the lion. “What is a stupid weakling like you doing here?” The Lion said as it grinned at Mino. “I… I….” Mino couldn’t speak, the words were there but his throat seemed to clog up when he went to say them. Looking around in horror he realised he had wondered out of Otana territory. Then looking back Mino looked up, further slightly then last time as the lion rose to its full height. “Do you know who I am?” The voice said, in a tone like an adult would use when speaking nicely to a child. “You… you’re… Legacy?” Mino struggled to say as he shifted one of his back legs as if trying to shuffle his way slowly backwards. “So, I’m known among your pride then?” The lion questioned further. Mino nodded slowly, as if not controlling his body. He was to worried about the fact that this could be his end. What a way to go… Dieing of a young age, and I never even got to exspiriance being an adult…. “Tell me, do the rest of your friends know you are here?” Legacy questioned further. Once again Mino didn’t speak, just creakily shaking his head in fear. “Do you know what I do to Otana that stray from their land?” The lion continued. And once more Mino shook his head, still lowered to the ground, his ears now also down, and eyes wide open. Legacy stared at the Adolescent lion which cowered like a bug before him. “Tell me, are you afraid to die?” Legacy questioned the lion, as his grin got wider. And once more Mino moved his head, this time in a nodding movement. “Do you want to die?” He continued. Mino shook his head. “Bu… But this is neutral land….” Mino managed to say. But Legacy tilted his head back and laughed at the comment Mino made. Mino himself flinching and closing his eyes and redrawing his head back, at the sudden quick movement Legacy made. He opened his eyes and looked back up at Legacy as he stopped laughing. “There is no such thing as neutral in a time of war…” He said looking back at Mino fiercely. “And in war one always kills his enemy… always….” Legacy said stepping closer to Mino. “But… I… I…. Didn’t do anything…” Mino chocked out as if trying to plead for his life as if being judged. “I know, you may not have, but war does have casualties and even fatalities… you will just be another number among many, no need to worry… I’m sure your pride won’t miss a weak little runt like you anyway…” Legacy said taking another step closer.
Mino then suddenly swung his paw, but at the same time had his eyes closed, as if hopping to defend himself in some way. But it went wrong as he felt his paw being grabbed. Opening his eyes he looked in shock as Legacy held Mino’s paw in his. Mino groaned slightly as he tried to pull his paw out from Legacy’s but to no use. Legacy lifted Mino into the air lifting him off the ground. He looked up at Mino who now dangled from one arm and tried to use his other paw to tear his other one free. “Please, let me go, I don’t want to fight, please…. Please!” Mino pleaded as Legacy continued to stare. Then Mino extended his claw and slashed Legacy’s paw, but Legacy didn’t let go or even flinch at it, his grip remained firm. “You little brat…” He said as his grin faded. Mino just looked at him puzzled for a moment, and then he felt a sharp pain in his paw as Legacy slow began to crush it. Mino the out a roar. “ARGH!” Mino groaned in pain as he tried to get his paw free, now more frantic then before, even swinging his back legs so Legacy would drop him to the ground. Mino’s eyes were clenched shut, the pain was horrible. He opened his eyes for a brief moment to see blood seeping out from where Legacy’s grasp had smothered his paw. Then there was a loud crunching noise. Mino let out another roar as he could feel the bone in his paw bend then snap in two almost. Legacy then lowered his arm so that Mino was standing on the ground and let go of Mino’s paw. Mino who now fell on his side and held his paw with the other as it bled, looked up at legacy with a look of pain. “Don’t you dare look at me like that…” Legacy said as he extended his claws and swiped Mino across the face making blood platter on the ground. Mino lay there for a moment he then shook as he slowly tried to raise himself to a lying position. But Legacy wasn’t done yet. He placed one paw on Mino’s back leg and used his other paw, and bent his leg making it break so that the bone was sticking out. Mino once more let out a roar of pain. Flinching he tried to open his eyes but the pain was too much for him and he couldn’t. But he felt someone pick him up, and before he knew it he landed on the ground with a thump. Legacy had thrown him. Mino lying on the ground on his side, Mino could barely move. Legacy just looked at him. “Well that was a amusing, however short it was…” He said glaring at Mino.
“Mercy….” Mino managed to say, eyes still closed. But Legacy just laughed. “I’ll leave the vultures to decide that….” He said as he slowly began walking away. I’ve wasted some time with that stupid bug, I best be heading back, I’ll let the vultures have him, I’ve gotten as much entertainment from him as I can… Legacy thought as he walked away, eventually disappearing into the distance. Leaving Mino there riving in pain as blood made its way out of his broken leg and paw. But he had little energy to do anything about it. He opened his eyes; the pain wasn’t so bad now for some reason. He had an idea why. What a way to go, after all that, all the hard work I put in throughout my life, all those hopes of a peaceful end, though, I guess it doesn’t get more peaceful then this… He thought as he listened to the wind blow past him shaking the trees and grass in its wake, all was silent, so silent…. It was comforting enough, if he had to wait for death; he’d rather no other way… for the given circumstance anyway…

Fire heard a roar in the distance that sounded painful. He couldn't tell exactly who or what it came from, but his mind was coming and going on the right track. All of a sudden, he heard something close to a rock crashing onto another rock and then another roar, this time in excruitating pain that another roar came after that. A lion was nearby. Then, all of a sudden, the light in Fire's head switched on and then gasped in horror, his wide-eyed expression revealing the fear and worry that flooded his face and his body. No....Mino...
He raced off into the place that he heard Mino's roar, afraid of what he might find. Only three people that he knew could be capable of breaking bones or doing any kind of damage that he heard. Bleak, Himself, and...Legacy. He growled lowly as he was running towards where Mino, keeping a close eye out for Legacy. Even though that Fire was growing in strength, Legacy could still take him down.
When he saw Mino laying on the ground with his eyes close and his paw and leg broken, a tear flowed down his cheek and then he raced to him, being on the verge of tears as he gets closer. He nuzzles Mino to wake him up from his trance.
"Mino...Please...Speak to me..."

Tefnut heard the roars of pain. Then she shocked looked as Fire ran towards the direction of the roars. I wonder... she started thinking. She hoped Fire wouldn't get himself hurt. She started following Fire as she heard someone coming. She quickly hid in the grass, hoping the one that was coming wouldn't notice her. As the noice of walking came closer Tef's eyes shot open. She saw Legacy. She was breathing quickly and thought what to do. She wanted to go and see who Legacy had hurt or killed this time and possibly help his victim. But she was too afraid to move. If he sees me, I'm in BIG trouble, she thought as she slowly started to back away, hoping she wouldn't step on a twig this time.

Despite Fire’s attempts Mino did not stir from his pain induced blackout. He was breathing, but as each minute passed and he lost a bit more blood, his body lost a bit more energy to keep him in that world. What was strong breathing was fading slowly but surely.
------------ ----------------- ------------------ ----------------------- -------------------- ------------
A bit away now, from Mino and Fire. Legacy was walking by some grass, when the wind blew and he caught the scent of Tef, but he had already been aware of her presence. He would have confronted her and sorted out the problem they had, but he was in a reasonably happy mood after his encounter with that other lion, and he was willing to let it slide, this time, he would leave it to her… she could run or confront him, it did not matter so much at that moment as he had other matters back in Jahina territory he needed to do anyway. So he continued walking, acting as though he was totally oblivious to her presence.

He tried to speak with Mino, trying to get him out of the fatal induced darkness that he was lost in.
"Mino...No..." He looks around to find anything that would stop the bleeding...Anything... Fire finds a big leaf on a tree and rips it off, bringing it to Mino and then tearing it in half with his teeth, placing one on his bloody paw and then other very gently on his leg.
He nudges Mino again to try to wake him up. "Mino..."

Tef looked as Legacy passed her. She was sure he had noticed her, but he didn't seem to care at the moment. "so you're just letting me be" she whispered and then ran towards the direction where Fire was with Mino. As she reached them she saw Mino in bad shape. She didn't actually know him that well, only by the name. "Damn you, father" she whispered angrily when she realized what Legacy had done to Mino. She didn't even care if Fire heard what she said about Legacy being her father, although she had well kept that as a secret, even from Fire. Her eyes turned darker as she got angry.

Fire was confused as to what to do. Mino was in such a state of shock that if he tried to move him and make a mistake, Fire though that it would have a chance of killing him. All he could do was watch his best friend die in front of him. His tears were now flowing from his eyes and he couldn't help himself but to cry a bit. That's it... I have had it... His emotions quickly turned to rage as his breathing becomes more harsh. I.. have... had... enough...
Fire lets out a loud and angry roar from his chest, the birds from the distance squaking and flying away from the noise.

Kiala had been hiding in the grass when Fire and Tefnut went towards the jungle. She stood up, now no longer having any need to hide. She looked around, having lost sight of Mino. The she decided to take a nice little stroll. Little did she know that circumstances wouldn't allow for her to do so.
Kiala heard the first roar and her ears pricked up and pointed towards the sound. "That doesn't sound too far off..." she said quietly to herself. She wondered who could have made such a noise. Then she heard another, this one sounding much more pained and distressed. She contemplated if she should investigate or not, her timid nature making her think twice. Then, her kind heart took over her fright and she decided to help. She built up what little courage she had and took off in the direction of the roars, hopeing that there wasn't bloodshed from this confusing war going on around her. She saw other figures running towards the same spot, noticing that it was the lion and lion/leopardess from before. She sped up, seeing the distressed look on the male's face and his form stopping over the body of another male lion. "Mino..." In her mind she hoped it wasn't, but knew it was. He was one of the only lions from the pride that she recognized, seeing his face almost everyday, but never actually introducing herself to him. She passed him a lot while he was on guard patrol.
She sped up and made her way to the small group. She slowed to a stop and her eyes went wide when she saw the state that Mino was in. She turned her head away, closing her eyes, not daring to take a secong look. When realization settled in, she looked to the other male lion, a look of pure concern and sadness on her face.
"Is he..." Her eyes then darted back to Mino's lifeless form. This was one of the first times that she had spoken to a complete stranger, but she needed to help and needed to know. She looked at the male again as she took a step closer. "Uh...is there anything I...can do to...help?" Her voice was small and soft, a bit of a scared tremble to her words as she paused between them. Her heart was racing and she didn't know what was going to happen...

As Gargoroth came to the jungle, he heard voices behind him. He then hurried his way in, not wanting to encounter any more lions for the time being. He watched from the safety of the shadows as a male lion and a lion/leopardess approached, then turned away and ran. He heard the roar and decided that it was probably this that they had gone after. As he left his safety, he could feel and smell the presence of another. He had smelled it before, and realized very quickly who the scent belonged to. The large lion that had spared him his life. Well, the day had not passed, so he was safe for the time being. He greatly admired this lion, even though his intentions were quite cruel. He finally spotted him and silently approached behind the great lion.
"Was the zebra to your liking?" All fear that had once enveloped him had vanished. A smirk played on his face. He knew the lion would keep his word, had no doubt in his mind. If he was anything like himself, cruelty came easy and he could suffer pain to others without flinching, but honesty was upheld and his word he kept. Not a trace of fear was in him now, and he could talk to the lion as he did any other being. He awaited an answer, knowing in his mind that his life was safe.

Mino Flinched, one of his eyes opened. Weakly, he looked around. He had lost so much blood that his vision was being effected, the figures before him where blurred. But he could make out the distinct look of his friend fire, as well as two other lions. His eye half closed and he looked at Fire with a gaze that seemed to be looking at him and yet seemed to be a look, like the one had when they let their mind wander. Mino was glad to see someone. He tried to lift a paw up and place it on Fire’s shoulder to reassure him, but for some reason he couldn’t, he could imagine it and almost see it happening, but it didn’t, no. He had too little energy to, even though he wanted to. Then he went to speak, but nothing came out of his mouth. Aware that he was powerless to do pretty much anything to comfort his friend, his eyes fell and looked ahead into the distance, as a tear appeared in his eye. In a way he was slightly happy, on the upside, he would find peace and never have to worry about the war. But seeing Fire reminded him of why he was fighting. Now he wasn’t ready to go, not before this war was over, but who was he to think such things? He who can’t even move one arm or even speak. Mino was slightly disgusted at this, but he couldn’t even frown. He just flinched as the pain returned momentarily. Mino closed his eyes and just lay there, knowing that he could only listen, he had no way to reassure them, and it killed him, more then any physical damage could.
------------------ ----------------------- ----------------------- ------------------------ -----------------
Legacy recognised the voice as being that of the lion he had spoken to awhile back. “I must admit, you have some bravery. Most outsiders don’t dare to talk to me, let alone confront me, but I did give you permission to live around me didn’t I?” Legacy said questioning his choice he had made. He did not say anything about the zebra. He wasn’t going to waste his time gratifying some random lion on his hunting skills. “Tell me, what makes you speak to me so? How do you know I won’t go against my previous agreement and kill you?” Legacy said as continued to walk, raising an eyebrow, but not looking back at the lion as he walked behind. Legacy waited for the lion’s reaction, wonder if it was as stupid as the last lion was and try to attack him. Legacy grinned. Fighting wasn’t what Legacy went around looking for. He only used force when he saw it fit or required. It just happened that most situations he is in ‘require’ it. But he wasn’t in the mood to fight this lion, after dealing with the last one; he would just rather relax for now. But that didn’t stop him from enticing the lion. “You are very curious; I wonder why you follow me as we speak. What is it you want from me?” Legacy said in a puzzled yet stern tone.

Tef looked at Mino, still angry of what Legacy ahd done to him. Calm down, she thought and took a deep breath. You couldn't have done anything to help him. Tef sighed and looked around. "I'll be back soon" she said and then ran to the jungle. She had to find something to help Mino. She remembered how she was told about one odd looking plant that grew in water. It had an ability to cure bad infections. "Where was it that I saw it the last time?" she spoke as she ran.
After a moment Tef came to a river. She looked at the water. It wasn't very deep. There also was a waterfall, but she wasn't interested of that. "Let's see if I can find that plant here..." she whispered and jumpped to the river. She put her head underwater and tried to look around. She lifted her head and moved to another spot and again put her head underwater. There it is! she thought as she saw one of those plants. She grabbed some of it's leaves to her mouth and then lifted her head. Then she walked away from the river and shook the water away from her fur. "Well, my..." a voice spoke behind Tef. "What are you doing in Jahina territory?"
Tef turned around and saw Bleak sitting on the other side of the river. Where did he appear? she thought a bit confused, but then remembered the shadows. Bleak saw the plants in her mouth. "Aww... You're going to try and heal someone?" Bleak said in a silly voice and then grinned. Tef couldn't reply, but her eyes flashed. "I see that my lesson of that plant wasn't all waist of time..." Bleak continued, still grinning. Then he stood up and turned around, walking calmly to the direction of the Jahina cave. Tef turned also nd ran to the opposite direction, hoping to get back to others before it was too late.
Tef came out of jungle and ran to the others. The huge leaves of the plant were still dripping water. Tef stopped and put the leaves down. "We should wrap these on his wounds" Tef said to Fire and the lioness that had appeared before she had left to find the plant.

Kiala watched as Mino began to stir. She didn't know what to do. She had never dealt with wars or anything like this while she was on her own. Then she watched as the other female ran off toward the jungle only to reappear with leaves in her mouth. She listened intently to what she had to say and then rushed into action. She grabbed one of the plants and got to work wrapping Mino's crushed paw in it, extremely careful not to cause him any pain. She decided to leave Mino's leg to the other two.

Gargoroth grinned as he followed behind the great lion. "I know you won't go against your word. Great leaders never do." He had this all under control. He knew exactly how to handle this situation. "If you were to go against it, it would only make you a liar....and liars are only cowards hiding the truth." He chuckled a bit to himself. "And you, as I can tell, are no coward." He then took a few extra steps to catch up with the lion so that he could look in his eyes as he spoke, showing that he himself was not a coward either.
"I like the way you manage things around here." He said, looking then in front of him. He then looked up at the lions face, because of the slight size difference. "I'd like to learn from you. You remind me a lot of myself, only a lot more powerful and influential." He then looked back to where they were walking as he awaited an answer...or his death.

Tefnut took a leaf and started wrapping Mino's leg in it. He had lost lots of blood and Tef wasn't sure if the leaves would help anymore. But deep inside her mind she hoped for it. "It will take some time from him to recover from this" she whispered guietly to herself and took another leaf to wrap on the leg. Legacy will pay for this, she thought. One way or another...

Fire's emotions were to a point where he could barely control them. His mind was going into complete insanity as he had thoughts of even fighting Legacy and killing the evil hellion himself, but he quickly reminded himself of his current status of emotionally unstable and not strong enough. When Mino opened his eyes a little, he looked as if he was trying to speak, but he couldn't due to the shock that he was in. Fire leans in to nuzzle Mino again, wanting him to talk to him to reassure that he was all right. His hopes were very high in falseness because of Mino's condition. After his breathing became deep and fast, he ran off into the jungle, not knowing where he was going or where he would go, he didn't care. As long as he was away from it all, it was fine to him. He came to a tree and started hacking at it furiously at it's claws, the bark flying from random places because he wasn't considering where he was slashing. After a lot of furious swipes, tears were pouring from his eyes and his slashes got weaker as he turned from an angry to a depressed lion, sliding down the tree and trying to hold hs ground, but he eventually was burying his face in the ground.

Kiala watched in suprise as the male lion ran off. She figured that he and Mino were good friends by the reactions that he gave. She then turned her attention back to Mino. She looked to the other female momentarily, but not for too long. "I...hope he pulls through...alright," she managed to say softly. She really did. Even though she did not know him personally, she enjoyed seeing his smiling face everyday. It was almost reassuring to her that joining the pride was a good idea.

By the gods, Legacy. You just wait... When you least expect it... Your head will be hitting floor faster than you say, "Die". No more wars... I don't care if I die from killing you or die from getting killed by another one of your cursed pride members... One way or another... This war is going to end... And it starts... with you...

Tefnut was a bit worried when Fire ran away, but she understood that he was mad for what Legacy had done. She left out a deep sigh and then turned her attention to the lioness. "I haven't seen you around here before" she said in a friendly way. "I assume that you're from Otana, right?" She smiled as she stopped talking for a moment. "I'm Tefnut" she then continued. "I used to be a member of Jahina, but... *sigh* ...I couldn't stand watching their actions anymore so I left to live like my mom once did..." She stopped speaking and tried to remember her mom. She smiled faintly, but it faded away when she sighed again.

Mino tried to move is undamaged paw, clenching it into a fist best he could to see if he could still feel it. Faintly… He thought as he sighed in his mind. Then he shivered as it suddenly became colder around. His body barely moved much however. He tried to open his eyes but his eyelids were too heavy to open. All he could hear was mumbling, he couldn’t quite make out what the voices where talking about or what they were talking about.
--------------- ------------------- ------------------ ---------------------
Legacy did not make eye contact with the lion. “Me train you? Ha! Don’t make me laugh….” Legacy said as if intending to offend the lion. “I don’t train weaklings…” He continued. But he closed his eyes a moment as if thinking about the possibility. “Tell me your name, and then give me a good reason why I should bother wasting my time training such an inferior being like you?” Legacy added as he grinned. This lion thinks he could learn from me, how amusing, he couldn’t handle what I would have to teach him… But still…. Legacy gave the lion a quick look, their eyes locking for a brief moment. In Legacy’s eyes there was nothing, not like most others where you would see something, like rage or happiness, just nothingness… Then Legacy looked back forward once more, with a look of complete calmness and clearness of thought.

Bleak was deep in his thoughts. He thought about the meeting with Tefnut. Why did I ever teach her to use that plant? he thought annoyed. And I wonder who she is going to help with the leaves... His eyes flashed as he kept walking, keeping his head lowered as if ready to fight. Then he suddenly stopped and lifted his head. He listened very carefully. "Isn't that Legacy?" he thought as he heard speaking. "But whoäs he speaking with?" He hid to shadows and went to the direction of the talking. He stopped only when he finally saw Legacy with the blueish lion he had seen before. Oh, it's that guy, he thought and then grinned. He backed away quietly and then left the shadows. He sat down on a small rock just on the side of the path Legacy and the other lion were walking. Then all he did was to wait for those two to come by. A slight grinn appeared to his face and his yellow eyes flashed a bit.

Kiala smiled at Tefnut. "Yes...I'm from Otana. I just recently joined." She then looked back at Mino as she reclined to a sitting position. "My name is...Kiala. It's nice to meet you, Tefnut." Kiala then watched as Mino stirred a little and she saw the visible shiver. She got up quickly, her heart racing. Why was she sitting here chatting small talk when the lion was dying before them? She looked to Tefnut, the concern quite visible on her face.
"We need to get him back to the cave. He wouldn't be able to walk even if he was awake...He needs to be carried." All of her fear and timidness seemed to vanish at times like these, not that she ran across it much. She knew what to do, but she wasn't sure she was capable. She was a good huntress and quite strong for her size and appearance, but to carry a male lion on her back? She thanked the heavens that he was small.
"I should be able to support his weight on my back, if you'll just help me get him up there. Then, walk beside me to make sure he doesn't fall..." She couldn't believe the words that were coming out of her mouth. Just seconds ago, she was afraid to tell Tefnut her name, and now she was taking charge of the situation. Kiala then went to Mino's side where his front paw was not broken and slid under the arm. She leant down and positioned herself underneath, soon standing up and centering Mino's weight above her.
"Will you make sure his back legs are steady?" His back leg was broken, and the last thing she wanted to do was bump it while walking. "When that's done, we need to hurry as fast as we can to the Otana den..." She could feel her knees wanting to buckle out beneath her, but she just locked them into place. He wasn't too heavy, but it was going to be a struggle to get Mino back to safety.

Gargoroth's fathers blood pumped viciously through his viens. All thoughts of turning away from that sort of life were pushed from his mind. He saw his oppertunity to learn from a great teacher, to become more strong than he already was.
"Gargoroth," he said confidently offering his name. "As for proving myself, if the name does sound familliar, then I will have a much harder time doing so. I was named after my father, Gargoroth of the Midnight Pride. Countless prides have fallen to his merciless paw." He hadn't spoken of his father or inheritence since he left the pride to find a new life for himself. He didn't know if it would even help him out in the least. "My father taught me everything he knew before I left, but learning skills from someone as highly trained as you would make me stronger. I'm sure this added strength could be an asset towards your pride?" What was he saying? Was he really considering joining this lion's pride? He hardly thought he would even be offered the chance. He might have overstepped his boundaries with that last comment, promise or no promise. Why would a lion as strong as this one need anybody else in his pride. He would just be another mouth to feed. He closed his eyes and waited for a strike of the paw. He would take it, if it came, as a punishment.

Tefnut hesitated for a moment. She really didn't want to get near the Otana den, but in this situation there seemed to be no other options. She made sure that Mino's back legs were steady. "Ok, let's go then" she said and sighed deeply, ready to follow Kiala and make sure Mino woudln't fall from her back.
Bleak waited on the rock. He was excited to meet that blueish lion, her flashing eyes revealed that. His grin grew wider as he heard the steps of the two lions approaching. They soon would notice him. Although, Bleak somehow knew Legacy already knew he was there. Bleak forced a calm expression on his face and prepared for the meeting.

Even though Fire was far off from Tef and the new lioness, he could see what they were doing. It looks like they were taking Mino back, which was a good thing. He started walking towards them, drying the tears from his eyes and then continued on to walk towards the two. He all of a sudden heard voices from a distance and then stops to hear them. One of them was Legacy's. He was sure of that. But, the other lion he didn't recognize before. He hadn't even heard his voice. He walked slowly towards the pair of voices and spots them, keeping a very safe distance from them. He listens in a bit as to what they are saying.

Mino remained silent, even though he had been moved. He might have groaned, but his head was killing him. He had a headache all of a sudden and even though his eyes were closed he felt as though everything around him was spinning around and upside down. As each second past he felt slightly sicker. He let out a cough as Kiala carried him on her back.
------------------ ------------------- ------------------- ------------------ ---------------------
Legacy looked at Gargoroth as he made his little comments. Legacy frowned as he still looked forward, clearly annoyed at some of what Gargoroth had said. “Tell me Gargoroth……” Legacy said in a freakishly kind tone of voice. “Do you know why I haven’t killed you on the spot for making such meaningless comments to me?.....” Legacy paused but not long enough for an answer to be given. And then spoke in a deep tone of voice. “It’s because I see potential in you, how ever meagre it may be…” Legacy paused again. “I’ve heard of your pride…. And let’s be clear about this now, if you ARE to work and learn under me….” And then a third time he paused as if thinking of what to say, though he already knew. “Your name and pride mean nothing here, your stature of how dangerous you are means nothing to me…. Nor does your history, so don’t bother me with it…” Legacy frowned once more. “If you are to learn from me, know this. You will do what I say, when I say, and without hesitation…. If you do choose to do this, then your alliance is to the Jahina, and any lion from the Otana or otherwise should be treated as an enemy….” Legacy stopped and stood there for a moment and glared at Gargoroth with a look of hate almost. “I will not baby sit you, if you go off and fight the Otana and die it wont matter to me, it will just prove that you didn’t have what it took to be an apprentice of mine… But, at the same time, if you fight an Otana outside our territory without my direct permission or break any rules which I have set…. Then don’t bother coming back, or I’ll kill you myself….” Legacy started to walk again, looking forward with a calm expression. “I will set out orders for you and strict rules which you will follow while here….. There will be no arguing or second guessing any of these things…. If you do you will be punished… And I can assure you I can do much worse things to a lion then kill them….” Legacy closed his eyes for a moment. “No, killing is far too merciful…” They walked for another few steps as Bleak appeared in view, as he sat on a rock. Walking up to him, Legacy remained facing forwards. “What a….. Surprise to see you here… Bleak…..” He said giving a glance at Bleak momentarily. Then a grin appeared on his face as he walked to the other side of bleak and turned around to face Gargoroth. “I will start things off simple for you…. Now I have other matters to attend to, so I am leaving you with Bleak…” He said looking at Bleak with a glare and slight smirk on his face. “He will inform you about what lions are Otana that are our enemies and should be killed if not captured, and then which lions are Jahina…. He will then show you around the area of our territory so you are familiar with the grounds within which you must stay… After that, Bleak… you bring him to me and I will give further orders…. Now I must be off….” Legacy turned around and started to walk away, but stopped. “Oh yes, and one more thing Gargoroth… the members of the Jahina pride should be treated with utmost respect from you, despite anything they say or do, you will show curtsey and manners…. From now on any Jahina member is superior to you, and you should think and act to them as such…. And…….” Legacy took a long pause. “If I ever find out you hurt a Jahina member, I’ll do unspeakable things to you….” Then he turned his head and as to look at bleak out of the corner of his eye. “And one thing for you Bleak…. While having Gargoroth with you, head up and around the borders and into Otana territory to show him some of his enemies… and while you are at it, find Tef, and bring her back to Jahina territory… I won’t have her mingling with those excuses for lions… But you know the routine… don’t harm her… And Gargoroth, while you follow Bleak on this activity, try to take note of how he stays hidden, not to be seen….. I had a problem with a member of this pride that couldn’t do that properly, and ended up getting himself ambushed by an Otana and hurt…” And with that Legacy walked away, disappearing into the distance, back further into Jahina territory.

Bleak looked for a moment after Legacy. Great... Just great! he thought a bit annoyed. He wasn't happy with the fact he was supposed to 'baby sit' this weakling and show him the borders and other stuff Legacy had mentioned. His eyes flashed, but he didn't complain aloud. Bleak turned to look at Gargoroth. "Ok, now listen carefully" he said in a deep voice that had no respect in it. "While you're with me, you're doing exactly as I tell you. If I say you have to jump in a waterhole, you will do it without questions." He kept a little pause before continuing. "I'm maybe not looking as strong as Legacy, but, mark my words, I am one of the best fighters in Jahina." He jumped down from his rock and started walking towards the border of Jahina pride. I wonder how am I able to get Tefnut back here... he thought as he walked. He didn't look back to see if Gargoroth was following him, he absolutely didn't care.
When he reached the waterhole nearby he stopped and looked at Gargoroth. "This waterhole is at the border. The other side belongs to us and the other to Otana. This is the so called 'neutral land', as the Otana's call it..." Bleak grinned slightly. "But of course, during a war there's no such thing as 'neutral'..." He started walking again, this time heading to the lands of Otana. "Now, we have to keep alert. We are now on enemy lands, and I'm going to show you some of the Otana members like Legacy wished." He suddenly stopped as he saw something. An evil grin appeared to his face. "Looks like we don't have to go very far..." he said and pointed to the direction of the moving characters. "See those lions? That grey lioness is called Kiala. She's quite new member in Otana and is a good hunter. The one she's carrying in her back is Mino." Bleak looked closely. Now he knew where Tefnut had needed those leaves." "And that third is a liopardess called Tefnut. She's the one I'm supposed to get back to Jahina territory." Bleak turned to look at Gargoroth. "Now, to the 'staying invisible' thing that Legacy mentioned..." he said. He was annoyed to show how he used the shadows. "My trick is to use the shadows to move around unnoticed. It's a good way to spy on the Otanas, which is my main duty." Then he suddenly vanished to the shadows. He circled around Gargoroth and then reappeared just behind him. "Now, we are heading deeper to the lands of Otana. We will go and take a look at the Otana den", he said and pointed to the direction of the Otana den. "My advice is to stay quiet and hidden, so that no one will see you. Do that in what ever way you wish, it doesn’t matter to me." He vanished to the shadows as he spoke. "Now, let's go then..." he said and started heading to the direction of the Otana den.

As Fire listened in to the conversation, he had heard something about the unknown lion joining the Jahina pride. Great... Another lion going to the wrong cause... Makes it more difficult... . He quitely followed the two, wondering what they were following. He then realized to his dismay that they were following Tef and the other new lioness. He growled low and then tried to get ahead of Tef, making sure that he appeared in Bleak and the other lion's sight.
"Hey... Sorry if I left earlier... I couldn't control myself..."
"Let's get back, quick. We're being followed......"
