Maisha looked down at Sheek on the ground. She lay next to him and nuzzled him.
''I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sure you'll find out those things eventually in life.'' She said and looked at him. She felt really sorry for him.
''About the hunting.. im not that great my self so ill get the others to teach me. you should come down and watch, learn some of their skillls..'' Maisha smiled at sheek.

[This Land]

Sheek turned his face out of the ground to see safila
"But its emabrresing, im a full grown Lion"

''It's not your fault though sheek, you've just had a bad time growing up and no one was there to show you these things. It isn't your fault.'' Maisha looked at sheek.
''C'mon we'll go learn some skills, and don't worry i won't tell them anything. They'll never have to know.'' Maisha smiled and offered sheek a paw.

Sheek Smiled took safila's paw and got up
"thanks" he said cheeringly
He started to walk with safila

Maisha grinned at walked off towards the hill where the others where hunting..
''Heya guys mind if i watch to learn a few skills?'' Maisha said as she approached them.

[lionloversam]

Memkra jumped. At his response the zebra began to run away.
Memkra looked at the other two very strangly then he said:

"sure.... "

He started running after the zebra and said:

"Watch and run!!"

Right after saying this, memkra tripped on a stone or something that was protruding from the ground and as he landed he felt something snap in his front, right paw and then he let out a painful mourning growl.

Maisha smiled as Mem ran off. Then all of a sudden he fell to the ground and let out a painfull growl. Maisha ran over to him as fast as she could and lay down infront of him.
''Are you ok Mem?'' Maisha said shocked, she hoped he wasn't hurt and if he was it wasn't bad.
Maisha turned around.
''Sheek come quick!'' Maisha looked at Memkra his face was filled with pain.
She nuzzled him.
''You'll be ok, i promise.''

[Kirsui]

Seleter watched the antelopes.
Those stupid little beasts, she thought. They've got nooo idea what waits for them!
She smiled that evil grinn of hers and sneaked slightly closer. Her paws found their way through the grass without leaving a single voice that could make the antelopes flee.
Seleter got closer and closer. Then she stopped to wait the right moment for the chase to start. She saw an easy targert, the antelope was old.
Hey, I might stand a chanse to chatch some prey! Seleter thought and stopped smiling. She consentrated hard to that weak, old antelope.

Just when she was about to attack, she heard a loud voice. The antelopes stopped eating, lifted their heads and ran. Seleter's chance was gone. She couldn't move.
"That voice" she whispered and stood up looking around.
It had been a roar! Full of pain! Seleter saw someone moving near a pack of zebras that were running away.
"Lions!" she said. Seleter was scared of lions, but she was also very young and wanted to look closer to them. She ran slightly closer and started sneaking again. Seleter was curious.

When she got close enough she saw one lion lying at ground in terrible pain. A lioness was trying to comfort him.
What's happened here? Seleter thought from her hiding place. She hoped the lions wouldn't smell her.

Maisha turned around but Sheek was gone. She looked around trying to see if there was any one else around. ''Help, somebody... anybody?'' She stood there and looked down to Memkra.''It will be fine.'' She said and forced a smile on her face. She sniffed the air. ''I'll be back in a moment, i won't be far either. If you need me... just yell..'' She smiled weakly and walked off in the direction of some tall grass. She could smell a lion but she wasn't sure if it was Sheek or not. She hadn't really paid much attention to his smell. She put her head down in the grass and saw a head right infront of her. She jumped back, startled and let out a little scream. She turned around. ''It's ok, i'm ok... just... a bug...'' She said to Memkra. She turned back around. ''Sheek?'' She whispered gently.
She put her head back into the grass. And looked around for the eyes she'd seen before. She then saw some black spots in the grass and moves forward. Maisha then realized it wasn't Sheek, infact, it wasn't even a lion. It was a young cheetah. ''Ok, umm... uh... hi, my names Maisha and that's Memkra... and he's kinda in a bit of pain.... are you any good with that type of stuff??'' She said and started at the cheetah.

''He's over here, if you want to come and have a look...'' She said hopefully. She ran back over to Memkra and nuzzled him again. ''It's ok, i've got help...'' She turned around and the chettah was still in the grass. ''....If they're coming.''

She gathered up all her strenght and gently pulled Memkra up onto her back. She dragged herself along the ground until she reached the grass.
''Please help, i think he broke one of his legs or something...'' She looked back at Memkra, she could still see the pain on his face. She looked back into the grass at the cheetah.

''Please...''

[Kirsui]

Seleter stood up quickly. The lioness named Maisha had seen her. There was no use of hiding anymore. She came slowly a bit closer to the lioness.
"I'll try to help" she said with calm voice. "But if you or any other of your friends try to hurt me, I'll be gone and no-one of you is able to follow me."
Then she walked slowly to Memkra. She looked a bit around and saw a wound at the lions front paw. She sniffed it a bit.
"It's broken" Seleter said. "The wound should be cleaned, quickly."
Then she looked around.
"Do you know any places near water where he could rest a bit?" she asked Maisha.

''Oh don't worry, we won't hurt you if you don't hurt us!'' She said and smiled. ''Umm... yea.. just down that hill.'' She said and hauled Memkra back up onto her back again and started dragging herself(with Memkra on her back) down the hill until she reached the bottom. She pulled herself over to a little cave with a mini river next to it. She put Mem's front paw in there and gently started cleaning it. She looked behind her at the cheetah.
''Well, you know my name... what's yours? Oh and thanks by the way.. do you live around here?'' Maisha kept talking while she was cleaning Memkra's paw.

[Kirsui]

Seleter smiled a bit, but didn't sit down. She was still too aware of the lions.
"I'm Seleter" she said and looked Maisha with her light purple eyes.
"You may call me Seleta" she said then and came a bit closer. Then she lay down next to the river and took a little drink.

''You look like you haven't spent much time around other big cats.'' She said and looked at Seleter.
''Please, don't be cautious of me. I won't hurt you. And i'm sure you won't hurt me.'' Maisha smiled at Seleter then finished cleaning out Memkra's wound.

[Kirsui]

Seleter smiled in relief. That voice of Maisha's had been ful of something that made Seleter trust her.
"Well, I am a cheetah, after all" she said and looked at the water.
"And a cheetah usually runs when they see lions."
Then she stoop up, streched a bit and looked happily around.
"Would you fancy a little bite of something?" she asked Maisha.
"I could go hunting."

As maisha was cleaning memkras wounds, he gave her a look that said thank you. It was not a light hearted thanks that he felt, but a full hearted thankfullness of the kindness from this lion he barely knew. As he looked Maisha in the eyes, he said:

"Thank you... "
He paused breifly and then continued.
"I don't mean to sound impolite, but why do you care so much for a lion you barely know?" "And, where did sheek and mino go?"

After a cleaning, his wound was not causing as much pain but he was still in pain though.

Maisha smiled at Seleter.
''Yea thanks.... i'm sure Memkra would like something too.''
Maisha felt Memkra move. She turned back to him.
''No you don't sound impolite... and yes.. i don't really know you... but still... you are a friend...''
She smiled at him kindly.
''Um... Sheek and Mino.... uh... i think they are back where we all first met... that little place.''

[Kirsui]

Seleter smiled and turned to go hunting. She jogged a little while and spotted a small rock. She climbed on it and started to search some prey. Soon she noticed some gazelles not far from her. She climbed down, crouched and slowly approached the gazelles. She spotted out a weak looking fellow and concentrated on it.

When Seleter reached her target she stood up and started the chase. The gazelle wasn't running properly and quickly the cheetah reached it. She jumpped on it's neck and collapsed down with the gazelle. Then she layed on it as long as it was kicking.

As soon as the kicking stopped Seleter started to drag the body with her. It was quite hard and she had to stop several times to take a deep breath. Then she finally reached the little river where Maisha and Memkra were waiting.
"Here you go" she said and dropped the body near the lions. Then she took a long drink from the river.
"I guess you don't mind if I too take a little bite of that gazelle?"

Maisha smiled at the cheetah. ''Not all... after all you're the one that caught it.. have as much as you like.'' Maisha ripped of a bit of the gazelle and handed it to Memkra.
''You could use some food..'' She said and ripped a bit more off for herself.

[Kirsui]

Seleter ripped a little piece of meat from the gazelle's body, walked near the water and started eating. She was hungry and when beeing a cheetah you usually don't get that much to eat from the prey you've catched because of lions.
"To get back to your question you did earlier" she said to Maisha.
"This isn't really my territory. You see, I'm a wanderer, searching my own place to live."
Then she continued eating.

''Oh ok..'' Maisha managed to say between the piece of meat in her mouth.
''Yes.. i'm the same.. but i could live anywhere.. i'm not overly fussy... as long as it's comfy..'' She said and giggled a little bit. ''But for now i'm staying around here.'' She smiled at Seleter.

[Kirsui]

Seleter grinned.
"Me too, I haven't seen any other cheetahs around here, but you'll never know..."
Then she took a drink from the river. Bou it was refreshing. Seleter loved water.
"I kind of left my mom some time ago" she said as she looked her reflection.
"My brothers stayed with her. I was the youngest."
Her reflection looked so familiar. She was just like her mom, with those light purple eyes and light golden fur. Yes, she was the only one who wasn't looking like his father, the so called 'king' of the savannah.
Pff, Seleter thought, what kind of king flees others.

[Pulsar]

Mino was walking around, he had lost the others while chasing the food, and embarrassingly enough, also lost the food.
“Great… just my luck….”
He said in a low voice as he looked around. Then as he was walking along he caught the voices of Memkra and Maisha. Walking over to them, he stopped in his tracks as he saw the cheetah, and Memkra’s hurt leg.
Without properly thinking, Mino pounced, putting himself between then cheetah and the others.
“What did you do to him!?”
Mino said aggressively to the cheetah.

[Kirsui]

Seleter stood up and started growling.
"I didn't do a thing" she growled to the new lion. She was ready to run if the lion would attack.
So typical! she thought and stared the lion with her light purple eyes flashing.

[Pulsar]

“Somehow I find that hard to believe”
Said Mino snarling. Taking another look at Memkra’s hurt leg he extended his claws slightly; he never did trust others so easy. And even if the Cheetah was telling the truth, and he was hardly going to back down until he was sure.

Maisha got up quickly and looked at Mino.
''She didn't do anything mino..... she's a friend....''
She walked over to Seleter and whispered in her ear.
''He won't hurt you, he just assumed that you hurt one of his friends. which you didn't so there's nothing to worry about.'' She smiled at Seleter and then looked back at Mino.
''He's like this because when he was hunting, he tripped and hurt himself.''

[This Land]

Sheek ran up to Memkra
"Sorry i disseapeard i saw a......."
sheek looked at mino
"You" he said

"Whats the Matter with Memkra"

[Kirsui]

Seleter looked suspiciously at Mino. She had to be careful, though Maisha had said he wasn't going to hurt her. Then this new lion appeared.
Oh, great! she thought and climbed on a rock near by. She kepd her eyes on the lions and listened very carefully what was happening around her. She wasn't going to be surprised. And if any of the lions would be offencive, she would leave them.

[Pulsar]

Mino watched the cheetah carefully.
“Apparently Memkra hurt his leg…. While hunting…”
He said in a calm tone. Retracting his claws, Mino stood upright in a rested position.
“If you say that’s what happened Maisha then I guess I have no reason to be aggressive towards the cheetah.”
He said pausing a moment.
“Just know I’ll be keeping an eye on you, don’t try anything…”
He said to Seleter before turning around to check on Memkra.

Maisha like this cheetah.... She walked over and lay down infront of the rock that Seleter was on.
''Seleter... Mino and Sheek...'' She pointed her head towards the two males as she said their names so Seleter knew who was who.
'' And guys that's Seleter.'' She said and smiled slightly... she wasn't sure about Mino..
Just because Seleter wasn't a lion Maisha didn't see why he was so cautious of her.

[Kirsui]

Seleter smiled.
"You still may call me Seleta" she said to Maisha and smiled shyly. This lioness was friendly to her. But the other lions, specially Mino... She had to be carefull with them.
Then Seleter turned to her back and let the sun warm her. Her white stomach shined at sunlight. Seleter watched the lions upside down, but she was ready to jump up and run.
