She turned to her and scoffed at her before collapsing to the ground bored "But I am king to be?!" he said confused.

Rayine found a quiet place quite a way from the pride, her eyes closed and she felt a kick in her stomach. She looked down and a tear came to her eye, she didn't want to have Livius' cubs for she knew she would never truly love them.

"Just because your king to be doesn't mean a lioness will instantly love you they may bear your cubs now I must get going take my words into consideration Livius" she said standing up walking to into a secluded cave.

livius had never fully understood that because you are king not everyone wants to do what you want them to do, or love for that matter. He watched as Mistune walked off and Livius collapsed into sleep.

Nyama was becoming old, she knew that she would have to find a way to cheer up Makuu, otherwise he would never have a family and would end up a rogue.

Many weeks had passed and Rayine had given birth to 3 cubs and had spent the time after caring for them and trying to teach them to be loving and caring. There was one like her father and the youngest of the litter was like his mother, though Rayine doubted they would be allowed to be who they were naturally and be forced to bend to the will of their farther and grandfather.

Mistune had also had her litter of two and did as she normally did.

Mitsune laying in a cave with her two female cubs by her side she doesn't expect any visitors for now at least they are probably busy praising Rayine and hr cubs she growled a bit at the thought.

Rayine was laid beside Livius, licking her cubs affectionately, she could never truly love them nor hate them, but they hd become a part of her life and so if she lost them she would then have a gap that needed filling.

Nyama looked for her son, it had been so long since she had seen him smile.

Makuu has become a young adult however he refuses to talk to anyone in the pride even his parents and seemingly prefers to hunt on his.

Livius stood by Rayine proudly as pride members wished them good luck in bringing the cubs up. Raynine didn't notice them, Livius nodded and greeted a few, he was almost a full adult now and was ready to accept the kingdom from his father.

Mitsune frowned hoow come no pride member greeted her and her cubs she growled a bit and she held her two cubs close.

Sukai spotted his daughter and walked calmly over to her "I see you have had your litter." he said looking at the two small cubs "Which gender are they?"

[Moonbacon]

"Two strong female cubs but of courses since their female your going to say they'll aren't capable of anything other than hunting and making more cubs."

[Accalia]

He scoffed and walked off again.

Livius saw his father in the distance and beckoned for him

Mitsune snarled she has been really wanting his father to die now hmm since her cubs are born she may just do it.

[Accalia]

Sukai saw his son beckoning to him and in hi sold age, almost limped towards him. Death was not to long from him now and because Livius had am heir he was happy to leave him and felt safe to leave the pride in his hands.

In later months Sakai passed from the world of the living and the cubs of Livius grew. Tension began to grow between the prides and Rayine became more free again.
