Rayine pounced on the male and sunk her teeth into his neck
Livius had been walking for quite some time when he heard a panicked herd of zebra. He rushed closer and saw Rayine on the back of a zebra, her back arched as she bit down. "She has grown to become beautiful and strong.." He thought to himself. He knew what his farther would ask in time.
Sukai walked over to his daughter in order to find his son "You, girl. Where is your brother?"

"He's off hunting i'm not going bring food to him or you " she said sourly.

Sukai scoffed "I don't need you to, there are plenty of other lionesses who do anything to please me. I need your brother so I can tell him some important news. When you see him, send him to me." He walked off back in search of his mate.
The beast beneath Rayine collapsed and she smiled widely at Makuu "Hehe that wasn't to hard!" he leapt for joy before taking a large mouthful of her prey.
Livius watched Rayine carefully, however when he saw another lion with he felt a deep greed and ran out towards the two of them. When he got closer and realised it was Makuu the rival prides offspring he smiled cruelly and continued to run at them.

Makuu's ears perked up he quickly looks around "Rayine i think there's another lion nearby " he whispered

Mitsune rolled her eyes before climbing down the tree she was on not to look for not her brother but to look for another lion.

Rayine turned around and saw Livius charging towards them. She growled and pounced on him "Why are you here? Were you following me?" she growls at him.
Livius is startled by her strength and remains under her power for a bit, his cheeks blushing slightly. "I am hungry." he snarled. He pushed him from her and stood up, "What are you doing with him?!" he screams at her, very slight tears behind his eyes.
"Why do you care??!!" she replied.
"Because I love you." he screamed withput thinking before blushing bright red and growling louder, running and pouncing at Makuu. Rayine was startled and stood there for a moment tears running down her cheeks.

Makuu was just an adolescent and Livius is a young adult but he didn't care. He then swiped his face with his claws "Rayine RUN! he nearly killed you as a cub RUN! run now!" he yelled biting on Livius's neck.

She didn't want to leave Makuu, she wanted to kill Livius, he had no right to love her, he was evil and corrupt, he was not permitted to feel anything towards her. She let the tears stream down her face as she ran, she then had an idea, she turned and headed for Makuu's pride, maybe they could help. "HELP! HELP" she cried out over and over as she neared their pride.
Livius screamed in Makuu's face "Perhaps you are mistaken I almost killed you! I would never hurt Rayine. Unlike you who is offspring to a useless pride and will never do anything of note with your life, you will steal her, have cubs and lives happily ever after," he snarled

Makuu swiped Liviu's face again and bit his forleg as hard as he could.

Nassir who was patroling the borders heard Rayine and saw her in the distance he ran up to her "what's wrong?!"

Livius growled as he felt blood drip down his face. He cried out in pain as he felt Makuu's sharp teeth digging into his flsh and he bit his neck ferociously trying to remove him from his position.
Rayine was still crying "Makuu, Livius...." She turned around and ran back towards the hinting grounds, her breath uneven and filled with gasps.
Nyama was unaware of her sons danger and remained beneath the tree, awaiting his return.

Nassir gasp a bit "NYAMA! QUICK MAKUU IS IN TROUBLE!" he yelled before running off.

Makuu roared then grabbed Livius's mane then swiping his face again this time aiming for his left eye.

Nyama heard the frantic cry of Nassir and rushed towards his shout, her eyes wide, her body filled with nervous energy.

Livius roared in reply and as he aimed for his eye he pounced on him, holding him down "Why did she choose YOU?!" he roared in his face before swiping his paw across his cheek.

"Because i'm not a heartless monster like you you could have easily ran away from your pride and form a new one and have a new life and not be a heartless monster like you!" he yelled sinking his claws into Livius's face.
Nassir quickly pounces on Livius knocking him off Makuu.

Livius simply roared in return and bit Makuu's ear, tasting blood in his mouth. He felt the weight of Nassir on his back and fell from Makuu. He growled at his fathers enemy, but didn't move to attack him, he was outnumbered by far and wouldn't stand a chance. His eyes flickered between Makuu and Rayine menacingly and he said sourly to Nassir "We need her back at the pride." he said gesturing to Rayine. He knew that he would have to let her go, he wasn't allowed to keep another pride member if they were called for unless they wanted war.

Nassir then slapped Livius away from Makuu then facing Rayine growling at her "Both of you get out of my sight or else!" he said roaring a bit.

Rayine ran, away from all of them, towards a tree or safety or silence any of those would be better then being back home or with Livius.
Livius growled at them all before running after Rayine and remaining beside her. "Are you ok?" he asked cautiously. She shot him a glare and Livius growled very quietly before tripping her up once under the cover of the trees and pinned her down. He looked straight into her eyes and said with pure evil ~"If you wont love me, it will just make your life more miserable, you will become my mate and bare my heirs whether you want to or not, so I would get used to me if I was you." he removed himself from her and watched as a tear fell down her cheek, he gave a vicious smile and pulled her by the ear back to his pride.
Nyama rushed to her sons side, checking his wounds for infection "Makku what were you thinking??" she asked.

"Are you ok?" she asked tenderly. She just wanted him safe, he had lived so long without a threat from Sukais pride, she wanted him to become an adult and he happy, with a mate.

Sukai saw his son in the distance an2d headed towards the tree where his sister was lain. He walked towards him and smiled, until he noticed Rayine beside him "Who is she?" he asked flatly.

Mitsune had returned from wherever the heck she gone to seeing Livius and Rayine she trotted up to them "what in the world is this Livius?" she said looking at Rayine.
Makuu sighed and headed back towards the pride's den.

Livius smiled "My new mate." He let go off he ear, but clamped her in place by holding her tail to the ground. Rayine looked at the ground, tears still streaming from her eyes.
Sukai smiled at his son "Brilliant, she is young and will bear you plenty of cubs." he says evenly. He turns to his daughter "Why haven't you bore any cubs girl?" he said disapprovingly.

Livius ignored his sister and looked up at his father who looked at the two of them. "My mother and father were half siblings, and I seem fine." he said before walking off "Next time I see you I want to see you bulging with cubs." he called over at her.
Nyama nodded and slowed down a bit, waiting for Nassir to catch up.

Nassir dragging the dead zebra that Rayine and Makuu killed trotted up next to Nyama.

The rest of that month and the following went as the rest of their lives had, however Rayine was forced to be mate to Livius and lived in fear of him. She hated him, and despised his power. Nyama worried about her son, and it took her several days before she realised that the female he was with was his love and he wanted her back.
Rayine lay beneath the tree, her eyes closed. She was enjoying her Livius free time. She heard an approaching lion and half opened one eye to see who it was, it was Livius. He smiled at her and lay down beside her, Raine simply reclosed her eyes.

Nyama walked over to her son and said lovingly "Makuu are you alright?"

Mitsune decided to lay under the tree that Rayine and Livius were under Livius however can notice that her sister was chubbier and had a larger belly too.

Rayine felt drained and helpless, she couldn't hunt in her current state, with cubs on the way, Livius' cubs. Livius turned to his sister and said "Who's are they?" he gestured to her oversized tummy and awaited her response.
Nyama sighed "Makuu, I know you loved that girl, but she is gone."

Mitsune sighed she knew she has to fake a story for this she didn't quite expect Livius to want a mate til Rayine came around "well you see iv'e been meeting up with a male lion and i really liked him and at some point well we just did it but then i found out he was just using to try and get close to the proud so he could kill you and Sukai and make this pride his own. Don't worry he's gone now he was a pretty weak fighter"

Livius nodded and smiled on the inside before turning to Rayine "How are you?" he asked tenderly. Rayine just stared at him, got up and left, she headed for the woods, she wanted quiet.
Livius got up to follow her, but decided not to, he couldn't be bothered and figured she wouldn't make it far before she got tired.

Nyama sighed and said sternly "Makuu, you need to cheer up! You cant just spend the rest of your life moping around, waiting for things to happen!"
