[Accalia]

She watched Dye with affection before saying "Lead the way, my king,"

[Jetstar]

"My king? Hmm I like that" he laughed, sticking his tongue out at his mate "Okay then c'mon" he beckoned to her.

[Accalia]

She giggled and stuck her tongue back out at him, following just behind him.

[Jetstar]

"So wait if I'm the king that makes you the queen?"
Dye stopped for a moment, near the base of the tree "We could have our own little pride! Wait 'could'? We do! We do have our own little pride! Aw that's cute." Dye smiled, then continued walking

[Accalia]

She stopped beside him and giggled "All we need now are cubs." she smiled up at him and licked his cheek before walking on.
She had forgotten the way a pride made her feel safe, and how Dye was so kind to her. She smiled and let her fur intertwine with his as they walked

[Jetstar]

She's mind flew a bit at the word but calmed when he felt her fur against his "Cubs huh?" He smiled a little then a lot "How many would you say you'd like there to be in our pride?" He quickly nuzzles his mate and licked her back.

[Accalia]

She awaited his response with a small smile and when he saw his smile widen she giggled and said "As many as we want." She smiled and ran ahead "Race you!" she laughed as she sped towards a large tree.

[Jetstar]

"Hey wait!" Dye laughed and sped after her, he was considerably fast Albiet his lack of prominent muscle, he soon caught up with Kivulvi and changed his speed into a trot. "As many as we want?" Dye couldn't help but smile to himself "Me as a dad though?" He looked at the sky "Never would have thought of myself that way" his gaze returned to his lioness "And you want to have cubs?

[Accalia]

Kivuli giggled and licked his cheek livingly "Dye, you would be an amazing father." and then she blushed and gave a small shrug before smiling slightly and running onwards. She had no idea where she was going, only that she was happy being around Dye and felt alive with the thought of them starting thei r own small family pride together, the rest of the world just didn't see, to matter to her. She laughed as she ran down the muddy track, beneath trees and leaves the filtered sun light warming her back.

[Jetstar]

Dye warmed at her words "You'd make an unbelievable mother" he lovengly nudged his mate and watched as she ran ahead a bit. Dye wondered what their cubs would look like, whose powers would they have. He wouldn't tell Kivulvi this as he knew it would upset her but he wished they had hers. Kivulvi's were so beautiful, having the ability to disappear at a moments notice and be at peace. Dyes were, well, horrible. Having all your emotions take the form of colours and worse having them speak their own minds? Having the power to take the life of someone just by thinking about it happening to them, it was a horrendous sight too, watching as their very colour slipped away from them. Dye hadn't noticed but he had stopped running and was lost in thought for a few seconds.

[Accalia]

She looked back at Dye, only to see he had stopped. She to stopped and began walking back towards him, her tail swaying slightly from side to side. "Dye? What's the matter??" she asked worried. had no idea what he was thinking, but she thought it might be about having cubs, to be honest she was slightly frightened by the idea herself, but she wanted to have her own family. "Dye, is it about having cubs?" she asked cautiously and took another step closer to him, so that their faces were only a few inches away. She gave him a small smile and nuzzled him. "Come on, we can talk and walk." she said looking into his eyes lovingly.

[Jetstar]

Dye followed Kivulvi a bit more but hesitated to speak. " I do want Cubs but I just..." He sighed and looked to his beautiful mate "I'm afraid of how they'll turn out" he hit Kivulvi's flank with his tail playfully "Not in looks or anything but with our powers. I don't want them to end up like me"

[Accalia]

With his playful hit she giggled and then sighed, she didn't know the full extent of his powers, nor that it was annoying to have voices in your head. She looked into his eyes and looked to the floor "Dye, our cubs would be loved to the end og the world and I love you just as much as I will them.. Having powers is hard to get used to but with a loving family it becomes easier.." she gave a small smile and added slowly "However I wont bring them into the world if you do not want to put them in danger of themselves.."

[Jetstar]

He smiled sorrowfully and gave his mate a short nuzzle "thanks but I know you want them and I just keep thinking that we should give them a chance too it's just I...I'm scared"

[Accalia]

She pressed her forehead against his and said quietly, "I know, and I am scared to, but this world is filled with hate and fear and even the good parts end up being infected with that sometimes..." she gave him a serious look for a while, but eventually smiled and pulled away "Anyway do you want to keep walking or go back home?"

[Jetstar]

She savoured those moments, where nothing else mattered in the world except the colour of Kivulvi's eyes. Dye could only whimper. However the look in Kivulvi's eyes reassured him. Her eyes were so beautiful. "Would the have your eyes?" He almost whispered. "It's up to you" he smiled then remembered something beautiful "actually do you mind heading on just a bit?" His mood lightening a tad.

[Accalia]

She looked into Dye's eyes, the colour of them momentarily rendering her silent, after several seconds of silence she remembered his question. "It is up to nature." she said in reply, she didn't want them to have her eyes, she wanted to see Dye when she looked upon her cubs, and how he smiled, his smile was perfect and she loved how the corners of his mouth turned up. She wanted her cubs to be like Dye, the saviour of her world. She felt the lightness of his mood and smiled "Not at all." she began to walk on her steps silent as they walked through the trees.

[Jetstar]

Dye nuzzled Kivulvi quickly then proceded away. They walked abit further until the came to a forest wall of trees. "Okay let's see if I can remember how to get through here" dye mumbled to himself before proceeding through "Dont get lost, you won't get out to be perfectly blunt" dye slightly laughed. The eventually emerged into an opening. This was one of the views from the canopy of trees the slept in last night, however the waterfall was hidden from sight up there. "What do you think? Our own little slice of happiness" he smiled and felt the mist from the waterfall. This place always out his mind at ease "This place would be safe, we could start it here" he said, referring to their lives , their pride and their family.

[Accalia]

She followed just behind him, stepping in his shadow and at his remark she giggled "I would just climb up." As they emerged into the clearing she lost her breath and stumbled backwards slightly, the pure and natural beauty shocking her. She looked up at Dye, smiling slowly before saying quietly "I love it... It is perfect." She then leapt onto Dye, pushing them both down to the water's edge, where they stopped rolling. She giggled and pushed Dye in, her eyes closed in happiness. /she looked down into the water before jumping in and creating a splash. She re surfaced her hair floppy with the weight of the water. She laughed and looked at Dye, this would be their world, their sanctuary, their happiness.

[Jetstar]

"Hey!" He laughed as they tumbled down the slight incline. They landed with an omph. Dye looked at Kivulvi, touching noses with her and pushing her hair out of her eyes. "I could just stay here fore...ahh!" He was interrupted by Kivulvi's actions. He hit the water with a splash and heard another soon after which he assumed to be Kivulvi. He surfaced violently and cried out "Kivulvi!!" before he sunk once more. The watery abyss threatened to claim him "Kivulvi I can't swim!" He screamed as he surfaced and thrashed about before sinking once more.

[Accalia]

She swam for him, seeing his struggle, she didn't mean for it to go like this. She tried to get his body under control as she pushed his closer to the edge. He was heavy, and she was only so strong. She gripped the bank with one paw and had Dye around her other as she heaved him upwards. Her eyes were panicked and she pulled herself up onto the dry grass. Once stable on land she pulled Dye further to safety, franticly looking at his face, he was breathing but only just. "Dye..!" she kept repeating, awaiting his response, if he didn't give one soon she would have to try and get the water out of his system.

[Jetstar]

Dye felt Kivulvi drag him and lift him to the shore. He heard the panic in her voice and began to rethink his idea, well he was in to deep now anyways. He opened one eye a tiny bit and stuck his tongue out. "Boo" he whispered before kicking Kivulvi back into the water and bursting into laughter. He would pay for that one later he could feel it but for now he simply dived back in after her "You shoulda seen the look on your face! It was priceless!"

[Accalia]

Kivuli relaxed her tense body when she realised it was a joke and tumbled backwards into the water "dye?!" she giggled at him once she had reached the surface of the cool water once more. She giggled and splashed him in the face, a small smile spreading across her lips "That wasn't funny" she said lightheartedly. She nuzzled Dye again and giggled "You are a really good actor." she giggled before diving under the water and pulling Dye in further. She stuck her tung out at him beneath the water, her face light. She would forget her worry of that dilemma for now.

[Jetstar]

Dye laughed "Thanks! I'm just glad you took it as a joke" he smiled before being pulled under. He replied by sticking out his tongue back at her being purring when she nuzzled him. Be swam a bit closer to her and licked her above the eye.

[Accalia]

She smiled and became lost in their embrace as they slowly headed back up for air. "Dye, I love you." she smiled and licked his cheek, burying her face into his neck as they remained afloat in the water."Please don't leave me." she said quietly. She had no idea what she would do if he left her, she would be alone again and she had half forgotten what that was like.

"I won't Kivulvi" he touched heads off of hers "I won't" he said, looking at his beautiful other half, he couldn't wait to start a pride of they're own with her.

[Accalia]

She smiled and allowed herself to relax completely, close to Dye and safe.

The next month of their lives were smooth running and filled with love and laughter. Kivuli had almost completely forgotten about her past, her future and present filling her instead.

Kivuli lifted her head, she was lain down beside the cool pool of water, it was late afternoon by now, she had been growing progressively tired and enjoyed a short nap in the evening. She gave a small yawn and stretch before smiling up at the beautiful sky through the leaves.

Dye dragged his kill over to his mate, dropping it beside her. He paused for a minute wondering whether what he had got for them was adequate "is this enough? What if it's not? Will I go get some another?" He had grown increasingly concerned for Kivulvi's health and well being ever since she had begun showing. Dye calmed himself a bit and crouched down beside her beauty. "How long now do you think?" He asked her, brushing her slightly protruding belly with his nose.

Kivuli lifted her head to see her mate walking towards her, a large zebra in his mouth. She giggled and smiled "It is plenty, thank you." she nuzzled her mate and then readjusted her position on the floor so that she could reach the good comfortably. At his question she smiled and looked down at her stomach, "Only a couple of weeks." she said with a loving gaze up at Dye. She just hopped none of them hated their parents later for having them and dooming them to be different. A small content sigh left Kivuli's lips and she took a bite full of the fresh carcass .

"Okay good" he shared the nuzzle "I can not wait literally I am so excited, and terrified but mostly excited" dye laughed nervously laying beside his mate, lying on his back. "Thought of any names yet?" He smiled.
