Kivuli's still lanky adolescent body was not yet appearing adult, however as she gracefully ran silent through the long grass towards the edge of a large forest she appeared as if she should be an adult. Her blue eyes sparkled in the early morning light and her grey body was semi hidden within the faint sun light. Kivuli was relaxed and free, she didn't have anyone relying on her or anyone to hind from, it was almost as if she didn't exist, but she did and she had a purpose unknown to her.
The tall trees loomed higher above her and she breathed in the fresh smell of the forest and heaved a sigh of relief. She had found a calm, quiet place and could see herself grow here, but she would have to leave eventually, she always did. She walked towards the closest tree and felt its rough bark beneath her paw. She loved the freshness and purity of the forest and the rays of dim light filtering through the leaves. Her long tail waved from side to side as she just took everything about life in and absorbed it, her eyes momentarily closing as the rustling of leaves flooded her mind. |

Colours flew all around him.
That wasnt anything unusuall, it was who he was.
Well, saying that this was normal would be an extreme understatement for anyone else, but this was Dye
and Dye isnt anyone else.
Colours of different hues flew around the room, some acting like shadows, afraid to leave the safe haven of the floor in which the originated, whilst others, braver than those of normal qualities, would fly up, straight towards the other lion in the room, seemingly doing so in a blinding rage, but pulled away at the last second. Controlling them was hard, but Dye wanted an explanation.
"You did this to me?!" he screamed
the other lion said nothing
"Well!?"
silence
Dye let out aroar of anger and let at the lion. He vanished leaving only shadow in his wake.
Dye jerked awake and in this movement, fell from the tree he was napping in.
He landed in a small clearing. He could sense qnother near him...

Kivuli heard a faint thump and quickly snapped from her daze and turned to the noise, her eyes wide and frightened, though she couldn't resist the urge to walk closer to what ever had made the sound. Her movement was hesitant as she walked towards a small clearing and smelt another lion and jerked backwards, her ears plastered backwards and her mind racing almost as fast as her heart and she took a deep breath in and slowly sat, hoping this lion wouldn't approach her until she had decided her course of action.

"Ahh" he cringed "That wasnt soft"
He tried to make sense of where he was but the thumping.in his head was not allowing him.
"ahhh" he cringed again "Guys calm down ow"
A lion aproached and Dye stood quickly and twisted. He stood, in a hunched position, hair standing and snarling.
"Show yourself!" he roared
"Kill them do it quick" a voice only he could hear growled
Purple, that colour in his head that always appeared alongside threat.
"Im not going to kill them..well maybe not" Dye muttered
"Maybe theyre friendly!"
Yellow, the happier of the lot.
"Ahh!" Dye cringed "Guys calm it youre giving me a head ache."

Kivuli cocked her head to one side as the peculiar lion talked about 'guys' though they were the only two she could see, but this made her even more hesitant and her bright blue eyes twinkled in the shadow that shielded her from the lions sight. She didn't make a sound as she stood there, carefully watching every movement of the potentially dangerous lion. She lowered to her haunches, her mind racing over her options, but she hungered for lion contact and knowledge and so she stayed tore between her clashing personality.

Kivuli heard the impatience in the lions growl and words but she stayed put, frozen between two ideas, run an flee, or stay and have actual contact with another lion and approach him. She ok a deep breath and took a step forward her grey paw just showing in the dim sunlight, the rest of her shaded by the thick shadows.

"Is that... a paw?" one colour said.
and with that, every colour flocked to see, ultimitally blocking Dye's vision.
"ahhh! Guys this hurts!" Dye fell to the ground, making short noises of pain.

Kivuli watched helplessly as the lion collapsed to the ground and she realised he was in need of assistance and so after taking a long and deep breath in she took a step towards the lion and let her body be seen in the morning light. She walked silently towards the collapsed figure and bent down beside him, she wasn't sure what to do now but she did what her mother had done when she fell of trees and the like all those years ago. "Do you need help? I am here if you do, but everything will be fine." she breathed into the lions ear, her voice soft and filled with air.

The colours flocked to the back of his mind when he heard the voice.
For a lion who's lived on the run for most of his life, always ready, he himself was shocked to find that he visually shrank when he heard the woman's voice.
Now, when he needed them the most, the colours, his emotions personified were nowhere to be found.
He was empty, lost on how to react, he looked up at the woman.
Now a faint, feeble voice hummed in a singsong fashion
"Wow, she's pretty, beautiful even" it seemed to sigh.
And with that, Dye sighed "Dammit Pink, i thought i locked you up a long time ago..." he muttered.

The lions muttering confused Kivuli, but she giggled softly, seeing this lion wasn't any threat to her. "Pink?" she asked it her soft and quiet voice as she cocked it to the side. She stared into his eyes and noticed that she was staring, but she couldn't bring herself to stop, he was fascinating and something else, something that caused her belly to flutter uncontrollably.
A red flush passed over her face and she finally tore her eyes from him, looking to the ground with her large blue eyes. "Im, Kivuli." she said in her soft voice. She wanted to stay beside him but at the same time she wanted to run far from him. It was a strange sensation she had never felt before, and so she was childish and went to explore all its boundaries. She lay down beside him their fur entangled and it felt as if electricity was running rampant through her veins. She looked up at the lion and giggled, because it was the only thing she could do. She quickly got back to her feet and said with a shy smile "Well, if you are ok I will leave you in peace..." She wished she didn't have to say that, but she did and she slowly walked away from the lion her full tail swaying as she went.

Dye didnt say anything as the lioness introduced herself. Her blue eyes were fasinating, they were....heartstopping.
A shock coursed through his veins when she lay beside him, he hadnt had contact with another lion in years.
Everything was silent now, then she laughed, a short giggle, and he couldnt help but feel happy.
And then she said she was leaving,
Dye's heart sank.
"W...wait" he stuttered, wincing as he stood.

Kivuli turned her head to look at the blonde lion her eyes glinting in the growing morning sun. She gave him a small, delicate smile and said "Why?.." her eyes were full are a daring flame as if she was waiting for him to give a good reason, but she knew she would stay no matter what reason he gave her. Her tail flicked and she turned to face him, her feet close together and her small smile remaining on her fluffy face. Her instincts wanted her to zip from sight, to just turn around and keep walking, but there was a strange feeling deep within her that pulled her towards him.

"I..I.." Dye was ready, as always, to give a monstrous concotion of a lie to manipulate the lioness into staying, but then, as he glanced up, he saw her smile and all hope of lying was lost.
"I'm lonely..." he sighed, looking at his paws as he slightly shuffled the dirt beneath him. "I'm lonely and you're the first person who'se given me notice in what feels like forever..." he lay his head on his paws and sighed slightly, while he closed his eyes for just a few seconds.

Kivuli gave him a soft smile and said quietly "Ok, I will stay." he voice was soft as she sank to the floor beside him.
Kivuli gave a small giggle "and you are the first lion I have seen in what feels like forever."
She lay there beside him, knowing exactly how far apart they were. She wanted to close that gap, but she wouldn't, her shy trait would mean that she would have to wait for him to make a move. She hated that part of her, but it also stopped her from being too outrageous which has saved her life on several occasions.

Dye felt her pressence as she lay and he smiled a little. He looked to her and saw her amazing blue eyes. "Wow..." he breathed then laughed at himself, his eyes flicking with what seemwd to be pink flames every minute or so.
"Im sorry, your eyes, i dont know whether its because theyre the first i've seen in a while or what but they're magnificent"

Kivuli giggles and wishes she had a fringe to hind behind, this was the first time she had been complimented for a long time.
She gazed at his smile and giggled a little, it was positioned in such a way that it looked dashing. Kivuli looked up into the lions eyes and said "I don't even know your name..." She giggled and leant into him. She blushed bright red but wasn't able to pull away.

Kivuli gave him a shy smile "Mine stopped when I first met you." she said smiling. Her eyes were large and she felt as if her powers might overtake and that she might just vanish for a while if she wasn't careful.

Now Dye actually felt himself blush a little.
"Oh my god does she like me? I mean you, d-does she like you? What if she does? I mean i...you like her too right?" "Pink, shut it" Red said rather camly, considering his personaility.
"What Red means, Pink, is that we cant hear whats happening next"
For once in his life, Dye found himself able to block out the colours.
"Really?" he smiled, feeling exstatic.
"You made me be able to hear the world again when i first saw you" he leaned in and quickly nuzzled her cheek

Kivuli gave a gentle nod and smile "Really."
At his nuzzle Kivuli felt her powers overtake and she vanished from sight, though she could still feel Dye's body against her own. She sighed and thought *Really?! Now of all times...* she desperately tried to go against her powers and reappear, however she had never done this and wasn't sure how to do so.
It was less then 20 seconds by the time her invisibility had expired and she sighed she wasn't sure hoe Dye would react to her powers but she hoped it would cause him to kill her or cause him to run from her. her eyes were filled with apologies and sadness, she wished she didn't have her powers, but she did and she had to learn to life with them.

Dye opened his eyes slowely
"Oh god..." he sat up
All the colours in his mind fought for a chance to speak
"Run quickly" vermillion, fear whispered
"What is it?"
"Kill it, kill it quickly, she's a monster" Red barked
"Wait..." Pink hushed and when Kivulvi appeared again, it spoke "See those eyes, the lioness they belong to cant be a monster"

Kivuli stepped backwards, her eyes large and filled with fear, her paws not making a sound as she did so.
"P-Please...." she whispered softly, tears running down her cheeks
She turned and began running, her tears streaming behind her.
She ran for a while, but her sobs began choking her and she collapsed beside a tree.

He finally caught up to her, she lay by a tree that opened out into a clearing.

Kivuli was too tired and distraught, her eyes puffy and filled with tears.
She sniffed and felt like curling into a ball.

Dye wiped the tears from her eyes with his cheeks. "Well I think it's cool to be honest, think of everything you could do with it, and you're lucky, you don't know what I'd give to be able to become invisible and be completely isolated. Just you and nature. That would be cool, I'd be able to know isolation" he smilled. "And trust me, you aren't the only one with weird powers." he winked
