Kulaani dug his claws into the ground. He wasn't going to let this lion and his pride tell him what to do. Just then he had a thought, and a small flicker of hope filled him. "Actually, the only reason I'm passing through here is because I'm looking for two lions. One had a golden pelt with a short red mane, his name is Msaliti. The other has a dark grey pelt with a thick black mane that had a dark mist rising from it. He had glowing yellow eyes and was called Giza. Have you seen or heard of them?"

Jeff shook his head " no, I haven't seen your friends"

That small bit of hope he felt vanished and he let out a growl. "Friends is the last word is would use to describe them, but since they're not here, I'll have to continue on which means I'm going to hunt whenever I am able to."

Kulanni watched him leave, still growling. "Bug eyed freak." He took a moment to calm down, returning to his normal form before moving on. He now had to find something else to hunt.

Jeff walked off the path way into the lush grass,. He could hear the voice of who he believed was the most annoying lioness in the world, Jane, He didn't understand why everyone in the pride called them mates, He hated her guts!

Kulanni searched for something else to hunt and came upon a lone zebra. That was very unusual, but he was too hungry to worry about it. He crouched down and stalked it until he was in range. He dug his claws in and charged at the zebra. The zebra panicked and started to run, but Kulanni was more determined and caught up quickly. He jumped onto it's back and bit down hard, using his claws to knock it over. As he did so, the zebra kicked him hard in one of his hind legs and knocked him off of it's back. With a roar of pain and anger, he quickly jumped back onto the zebra and bit down on it's throat before it could get back up, finishing it. He let go and tried to stand up, only to find that he couldn't stand on his leg without feeling pain. "Wonderful, looks like I won't be going anywhere for a while." He settled down and began to eat his meal.

Jane noticed the lion and tilted her head, she noticed that his leg seemed twisted. She quietly stalked towards him.

"Come on then" she said with a crooked smile. She began to walk away, until eventually she found the cave. "Here" she said, letting out a content purr. Gems littered the room, including one or two diamonds and emeralds.

A giant snake was hiding in a lonely tree in the savannah when it saw a lion take a zebra down. It waited until the lion started eating before dangling down, waiting until she was only a few feet from the lion, and said in her whispering voice, "that wass... Very impressivvve. You are a ssskilled hunter. Would you mind if I sshhared in your meal? Sssurely you won't be eating it all."

Kulanni looked up at the snake, surprised by it's size. He shifted a little weight onto his injured leg to try and show that he wasn't weakened. "I... suppose not. Just don't hog it all, it's the first meal I've had for days."

A pale white lion, with black paws padded through the golden grass, it had no eyes, or mouth. A large static noise was coming closer and closer to Kulanni, as it didn't make a sound in the grass, the closer it got, the louder the static. Soon, it charged at the lion, as thunder cracked revealing its figure, as eight large tentacles grew from its back.

The teen, looked at ben, before walking out of the cave, hearing static. Thunder soon cracked as it poured with rain, every drop on her fur stinging like acid, smoke rising. She rushed back into the cave, repeating ow, as her eye fire turned purple, showing she was in pain.

Kulannis' eyes widened as he turned to see a strange lion charging at him. He jumped away as fast as he could with his injured leg. Growling, his eye now purple and six spikes grown out of his back, he turned and faced his attacker.

The static was now loud enough to make ones ears bleed, it was also revealed that the figure was double the size of an average lion. The tentacles reached out and whipped at the lion. As thunder highlighted its feature. One to cause nightmares.

Kulanni grunted from the sound of static and folded his ears back in an effort to shut it out. "What's with all the freaks lately?" He saw the tentacles reach for him and did his best to avoid them, but his leg made that hard and he fell to the ground as one of the tentacles hit him. With a growl, he got back up and faced the lion. "Is that the best you've got, ugly?!"

The static reached its peak, as its size increased, 10 more tentacles sprouted from its back, this also increased his strength speed and agility. He grabbed the lion by its injured leg and dangled it in mid air.

Kulanni let out a roar of pain as he was lifted up. "That's more like it!" With an effort, he reached up and dug his claws into the tentacle, biting down hard on it.

The tentacle shrunk back in pain, as the lion thudded to the floor. Several tentacles then wrapped around him and lifted him up in tge air, higher tgan last time, as they began to twist his legs.

Kulanni hit the ground with a grunt, then felt himself get lifted back into the air. He tried his best to get free, biting down on any of the tentacles he could reach. A groan escaped him as he felt his legs being twisted.

The lion dropped him to the floor, as a new voice got his intrest. He stomped on the other lions leg and walked into a cave, where two teens rested. One he recognized, BEN, the other, a regular lioness. He picked her up, in confusion, before he picked her up from the floor and twisted her hind leg. He noticed a fire in her eye, a blue fire. He dropped her. It was the flame lioness, the one that scares many other beasts. The lioness blue fire soon turned to pure red, as her body lit up in an inferno. She set hus paw on fire, as she burnt him some more before he ran away.

Kulanni hit the ground and roared. He looked around to see the lion walk into a cave. Not wanting to wait around for it to come back, he tried to stand up but immediately fell back down with a grunt as he felt a sharp in his legs. "Can I not catch a break for once?" He noticed a bright light and looked at the cave to see the lion running away with it's paw on fire. "Good riddance...."

"BEN stay here please, I will be right back" she says, running out of the cave, seeing to light up the savanna. "Sir, are you alright? I can heal you, damn I hate that thing" she said, watching the thing in the distance. She placed her paws on h7s legs, as green fire surrounded them. "Plus, don't be scared, I hate how people are terrified of me, just because im the flame lioness"

Kulanni looked at the lioness, giving her a look. "Terrified? Anyone that can chase away that... thing is alright with me." He watched as the green fire surrounded his legs and the pain resided.

"Really! Well, its all good. I must be leaving though, my friend is gonba be worried sick. I hope we meet again" she says, beginning to make her way back to the cave, like nothing had happened.

"Thanks." He slowly stood up, testing each leg before putting his full weight on it then watched the lioness. "Hey, what's your name?"

"Oh, its Azeri" she shouted to him with a green flicker of fire in her eyes.

"I'm Kulanni." He watched her leave, then turned and walked back to the zebra. There should be enough time to eat a little more, then find somewhere to stay at before he got attack by some other strange thing.

The snake was up in the tree by then, a large, zebra-sized lump halfway down its length. Upon seeing Kulaani she said, "oh, sssorry. I thhought you were not coming back. Are you sstill hungry? I can bring it back up, if you like." She smiled serpentinely.
