The Pride of Nightmares ( Moved to freestyle)

This is a creepypasta/Dark lion oc rp. Story: This is a pride that has been lost for centuries, and the lions of all the prides only know of it because they heard about from the stories that the elders tell. Little do they know, this pride still exists, and has strong and powerful members. Join, and lets tell a story like no other.

Jeff stands on a rock in the middle of the savannah. The moon hung high over him,illumanating his white fur, His blue eyes scanned the grassy area for outsiders. He would flinch to dash into the field every time he thought he saw something.

He didn't know why he was like this, it would be just like most of the nights before, nothing, Standing watch almost every night and nothing happening. He sighed and sat down.

I'll play as Shetani

A giant, 1500 pound bird flew under the light of the moon for as long as she could. She clamped her beak tightly closed, concentrating on maintaining her form, but then her feathers started to fall off.
"Uh-oh. That's it. Gotta land, gotta land," she said, and started wheeling down towards the savannah floor. She extended her legs as grass came up to meet her and hit the ground with an "oof" - it wasn't easy landing as a 1500 pound bird, let alone one missing feathers. Glancing about in case of danger, she saw a figure standing on a rock not fifty paces away. "Oh great. A witness," she said softly, scratching at the loose feathers with a giant rear claw.

Jeff stood in shock as he watched the giant bird land, " W-What in the Nightmare lands name was that?" After waiting a few moments he darted off the rock toward the bird.

The bird saw the lion darting towards her and hissed. "Stay away," she said. Feathers continued to fall out of her wings, and her down was slowly turning into fur. She backed away, slowly.

Jeff growled. " You are on nightmare pride territory, why are you here?" he took a step forward.

Crap. Someone else's territory? "I was flying over, but I can't fly at night," she said, feathers continuing to fall out. Her beak slowly receded and her big blue bird's eyes came together, looking more like cat's eyes. Lioness eyes, with perhaps a hint of leopard. "Please, leave me be. I'll be gone in the morning, I promise."

He layed his ears back, he wasn't fully sure if he should leave her out here. " no, I will remain here until you are able to leave."

"That's... not... necessary," she said, but then the last of her feathers fell off. All that was left was an ordinary lioness. Well, ordinary except for her large, expressive eyes, and the fact that she had to be the fattest lioness who ever lived. Lying down, her stomach bowed out to either side like a pancake, and her limbs were almost lost in the folds of skin. Her tail was as thick as as a normal lioness' neck, and her neck was as thick as a normal lioness' waist. Despite that, she had a light and airy voice, and though her face was round, some might still say it was pretty. "Can you stop staring now?" she said, flicking her heavy tail.

" a-are you a shape shifter?" Jeff had heard of Shape shifting animals before but he had never seen one before.

Kulanni walked through a savannah, completely focused on his task. He didn't know where he was, but he knew he was going to right way. Noticing that it was getting late, he decided that he should find a place to rest for the night and continue on tomorrow, and hopefully find some food as well. He looked around for any suitable place to stay, but saw nothing but open land. With a low growl of annoyance, he walked over to a small tree and lied down.

"Yes," the fat lioness said. "I shift shapes. It's what I do." She looked about, thinking she might have heard something, but decided she was probably being paranoid. "So what's your name? And what's that pride name you mentioned? 'Nightmare pride'? Doesn't sound very comforting."

" My name is Jeff, and yes my pride's name is the Pride of Nightmares" The wind blew, causing the clouds to move, you could see his face now, He had cuts on his cheeks forming a smile, and his eyelids looked like they had been burned off. " we are called that because of how our members look."

Ben watched Kulanni from atop the tree, Ben had returned to the nightmare Prides land only a few days ago but didn't have enough courage to return to the pride that he ran away from when he was a cub. The ghost went invisable " H-hey, you." he spoke just loud enough for kulanni to hear.  " are you a rogue?"

The fat lioness winced. "You all look like that? Is that some sort of sick ritual, or are you born like that?" She waved him closer. "Does it hurt?"

Kulanni jumped to his paws and looked around for the one that spoke to him. He looked around the tree but couldn't find him and began to feel frustrated and growled. "Yeah I'm a rouge, who are you?"

" No, I'm the only one who looks like this. Aren't I beautiful?" There was a  hint of both pride and sorrow in his voice.

Ben floated down from the tree and made himself visable " Good, I wanted to make sure you wasn't a pride member."

"I'm sorry," she said, feeling guilty. "That was rude of me. If it makes you feel any better, I look like this." She gave her rump a wiggle, and her whole body wobbled like a massive bowl of jelly. "And I did this to myself, too. You'll get no more judgement from me.
"But, if you're called the Pride of Nightmares because of how your members look, then how does everyone else look?"

He looked at the adolescent that had just appeared out of nowhere, surprised for a moment but he quickly recovered himself. "Pride member, are you saying there is a pride nearby?"

He layed down " well we all have our own unique look, our pride ranges from from ghosts to crazied lions" He held his head high at that part " to lions with out faces, and some even wear masks to hide their faces." He looked at her hoping that he didn't scare her.

He nodded as his red eyes glowed " yes, I-I used to be a member."

"Ghosts, you said?" She sounded a little dubious, but shrugged. "Well, I've seen plenty of strange things in my time. My name's Shetani, by the way. I can't walk very far, but if you know of some shelter nearby, I don't suppose we could go there? I feel a bit vulnerable sitting out in the open like this."

"Terrific, that's just what I need." He said with a sarcastic tone. The last thing he wanted was to be near a large group of animals and as he looked this lions red eyes, he was pretty sure it is safer to avoid this pride at all costs. "So what happened to you?"

Jeff nodded and stood up " I agree.."  his eyes scanned the field.

Ben looked down " I...ran away when I was a cub." He then looked up " But I came back....all though I haven't had enough courage to speak to them."

Kulanni felt wary about this pride already, but hearing what this adolescent said only made him more determined to avoid them. "Are they that bad?"

Shetani made to move, but getting off the ground with the weight of five lionesses wasn't easy. "I don't suppose you could give me a hand?" she said.

Ben Shook his head " no, I got angry and ran away..........I was foolish then."  the wind rustled the leaves " so, whats your name?"

Shetani scoffed. "You can carry all of this," she said, shifting her body again. "Do you regularly carry five times your own weight? You're welcome to try of course. Certainly it would beat walking anywhere."

"Kulanni, you can call me Kulan if you prefer, or just rouge. I don't really care what others call me anymore." He looked at the adolescent. "What do they call you?"

Jeff smirked and easily tossed her on his back " now, where is this shelter?"

"Oof," Shetani said as the wind was knocked out of her. "My goodness. How did you... I don't know where the shelter is. This is your land, remember? Ah, help!" Though Jeff might be strong, his back was narrow. Shetani was very wide, and very rolly-poly: it was like balancing a big sack of water on your back. She scrambled with her little arms, but normally she could barely ever get her arms to reach the ground, let alone hold onto another lion. "I'm going to fall off!"

Kulanni tilted his head in curiousity. Ben drowned, what kind of name is that? He thought to himself. "Well Ben if you don't mind, I have to continue on tomorrow so I would like to get some rest."

Jeff stumbled around trying to keep her balanced on him " The only shelter I know of is close to my pride"
