"Well ranger, im gonna leave it up to you know" She laughed and picked up nala and made her way to the waterhole

Nala said goodbye to simba as her mother took her away to the waterhole, her face grumpy as she really did not want to go.Her face was fixed in a grumpy way, as her mother padded down towards the water.

"Bath time." Sarafina said with a smile.

"ohhh man" she sighed, dreading the water.However she did need a clean, and her pelt was very dirty.

Sarafina slowly put nala in the shallow end carefully bathing her with her paw. "Right now time to get you dried you little fluff ball!" She laughed

Nala laughed as she was taken out of the water.She shook her pelt, it proofing as the water dried off.Nala growled and shook again her fur flattening down.Nala then giggled along with her mum, smilling.

Sarafina placed nala in her paws and groomed her damp fur until it was dry "Now go and play, just dont get too dirty okay?"

"okay" Nala lied, then running off back to simba, running back up to the cave right through a muddy puddle.Mud sprayed up her legs and some of her back.She really hated baths.

Sara was disappointed that she hadn't even gotten to say hi, before Sarafina took Nala away.

Ranger noticed that the other lion was trying to sound intimidating, so he closed his eyes and inhaled, then opened them and said, in the most even, non-threatening tone he could muster, said,
"Hello, I'm Ranger and this is my daughter, Sarafina, but we call her Sara. We were wondering if you could help us. We got seperated from my mate about a month ago and have been trying to find her ever since."
He stood slightly in front of Sarafina, ready to push her behind him if this king decided to attack.

Nala curious,y poked her head round the cave side, after dumbing up, watching mufasa and the new lions.Her blue eyes curious of the conversation.

Sarafina watched nala run off then ventured up priderock again. She heard mufasa saying.
"Nice to meet you, im Mufasa" He said whislt chuckling "Could we get a description of your mate then?"

Nala moved further forward so she was next to simba, looking up at mufasa and the other lions.
"What's going on?"Nala whispered to simba.
"The new male is asking my dad for help to find his mate"Simba whispered back.
Nala wondered what is was like to love someone that much and hoped that she would one day love someone that much that she would die to save them.

"Thank you, Mufasa," Ranger said, inclining his head respectfully to the king, then said,
"Well, she's a very pretty caramel brown color, same color eyes, about the same height and weight as any normal lioness. Well, ok, maybe a little on the thin side."

Nala giggled a little bit as she felt simba tugging at her ear.She grinned and pinned him down.
"pinned ya"She giggled .
She saw simba giggle along with her and she ended up releasing her grip on him, which allowed simba to pin her down without her noticing that he was about to.She smiled looking up at simba, with her blue eyes looking up at him lovingly.Nala secret ally fancied him but knew he would only ever like her as a friend.

"No problem ranger, I beleive I know a lioness here in this pride that looks like your mate is she mona?

Nala grinned and squirmed out from under simba and moved over to her mother yawning.
"mum, I am tiered,can you take me to bed?"Nala said yawning.
She looked up at her mum with heavy eyes.

"Already, well sure" She picked up Nala and carried her to the den and curled round her protectivly.

Nala curled into her mother, resting her head on he mothers belly.She quickly felll into a deep sleep.Simba was there but he was fully grown, and Nala was there also fully grown.They where the king and queen and had a cub called kiara.She knew this was only a dream but it felt so real, so true.

Sarafina smiled down at her daughter, but tomorrow would be a day of tragedy nobody could have fortold. The stampede simbas supposed death and mufasas demise.

Nala slept happily though something was upsetting her, she did know what but she felt it was going to be something bad.She nuzzled closer into her mother, searching for comfort, falling asleep untill she awoke the next day.

Sarafina placed her paw droopily over nalas small form and slept, soon after it was morning, they had both woke up late oddly enough nobody was around. The only lion here was scar, and sarafina dident trust him. She snarled angrily as he made his way towards her. He said if they could have a talk. Even though she hated to leave nala she had too. So she followed him. Up into his cave.

Nala awake, noticing her mother gone.She got to her feet and followed her mums scent picking up scars to.She hated scar but followed his scent anyway in search of her mum.She eventually came to his cave an poked her head round, seeing her mother and scar.What was her mother doing there?

Ranger's ears perked up at the sound of her name and said,
"Yes! Is she here?"
Sara added,
"My mom's here? Really?!"
She smiled in happiness, looking up at Mufasa with an expectant face.

"Well yes, i think so." He chuckled
Suddendly Zazu cam flying towards Mufasa "Stamped in the gorge! Simbas down there!"
"Simba!? Rnager i have to go!"
Mufasa raced away.

Sarafina gazed over to nala, and within her distraction scar pinned her to the floor she smacked him across the face and ran off and picked nala up on the way. Scar then followed mufasa to set his second plan into action, and when he was king, he could have sarafina all to himself...

Nala could hear simbas cries of help and, quickly left scar and her mother towards the gorge and the unknown stampede that was there.Once there she saw mufasa climbing down saving simba who dangling on the stick.
"SIMBA" Nala cried out.
And just as simba was thrown onto the ledge, mufasa fell into the stampede.

Mufasa jumped up and with relief he saw his brother "Scar ....brother help me!"
Scar grabbed out at mufasa paws and dug his claws in them, resulting in a roar of pain.
"Long live the king!"
Mufasa fell from the cliff and onto the floor in utter shock and then he landed with a thud, it was hard to breathe, because he couldn't he stood up only to fall down and be knocked unconscious, but he never woke up again..

Nala raced over to simba who was by the ever sleeping mufasa trying to wake him up.
"Simba, it's no use stop"Nala said.
She noticed scar come along who gave her a look saying go away and she knew better then to not listen so she ran off trying to find her mother.

"Sarafina saw her daughter running back, what is it nala?"

"Mama, mufasa is dead! "Nala said panting and crying at the same time.

"Nala, you know not to..." She saw scar coming up the hill sadly followed by the lionesses Sarabi was in tears and heartbroken. Scar climbed prideorck and made a speech of him being king. Then he turned to Sarafina and dragged her into the cave hyenas snapping at her heels. The next day.
