Ranger saw what was going on and started off with Mona following close behind, but when Sara tried to follow, her father turned and snapped,
"Sara, no! You stay! I'll go. Mona, stay with Sara."
"Be carful, honey."
"I will."
Ranger caught up in time to hear Sarafina yell at her daughter, and Nala crying. He figured it was because of what had happened to Simba. He came up next to her and asked,
"What's going on? Did she do something wrong?"

"Ranger, don't get her hopes up. Simba and Mufasa are both dead and we all know it. Unless Scar's lying, which I wouldn't put it past him."

Smiling at the two cubs, she continued,
"If you'd like Ranger to go out and try to find Simba, I'm sure he'd be only too pleased to do that."
Sara said,
"Mommy, are you gonna go, too? I don't want you to go!"
Mona bent down next to her daughter and said,
"No, Sweetie, Mommy's not going anywhere for a while."
She stood back up and stared at Sarafina, waiting for her answer.

Nala snarled, how dare scar take the thrown as his own.She walked out of the den and looked over the destroyed land.What has scar done?He has murdered the land and allowed the hyenas to rule, controlling the land that does not belong to them.
"SCAR, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!"Nala shouted out into the land as she felt a tear drop onto her paw from her face.

She ran up to the cave and walked up to him.
"You are not the king!"Nala snarled.
