*Prides Of The Savannah*

[Fire]

Hmmph... Kata has so much evil in her, she even can get into the heart's of little ones without even having to talk to them... He sighed softly and gives Kisima another gentle nuzzle with his nose to her own, purring deeply as he does this. "Don't worry, Kisima... Kata will never hurt you. Not when you've got a big strong lion like me to protect you. Almost like your guardian angel. Except you can see him, right?" Fire smiled at this thought and then gave that smile to Kisima.

Kisima giggled. "Hehe, yeah... I guess." She said and smiled up at him. "Thanks." She said and nuzzled his leg. She looked around to see if any other newcomers had arrived, incase she had missed something during her 'dream'.

[Pulsar]

For a moment Legacy couldn't do anything else than stare. He saw Pulsar getting closer, the moonlight making his brother's yellow mane flash when he moved. Pulsar had come for him, he didn't want to go...
<Get up!>
Legacy forced himself to move. He had to get up, to fight. Slowly he stumbeled to his feet, forcing himself to stop shaking out of weakness. He cursed himself being weak, especially now when his brother was here.

For a moment Legacy's red eyes locked with Pulsar's yellow ones. For a moment the two were silent.
"Is that all you can do?" Pulsar asked, breaking the silence.
Legacy frowned. If he had a bit more energy...
"You should have an idea of what I can do..." he replied on a calm voice.
Pulsar took another step closer, grinning slightly.
"Yes... I think I have..." he replied, still grinning.
"But you seem to be in a bad shape right now..."

Legacy snarled, extending his claws. He prepared to jump, to pounce on his brother and start a fight. But apparently Pulsar realized what he had in mind and stopped approaching again.
"Come on..." Pulsar said. "Come on and fight... Or are you too weak to do that?"

Legacy's eyes narrowed and he pounced towards Pulsar. At the same moment he cursed his weakness again, for his brother had evaded the attack. He turned his head, only to see Pulsar right behind himself, grinning once again.
"You're getting slow, Legacy..." Pulsar commented, evading another of Legacy's attacks.

Then, when Legacy tried to attack for the third time, Pulsar caught his brother's paw that was meant to hit his face and twisted it. Legacy growled, rising to his hind legs and trying to crush Pulsar under his weight. Legacy's brother let go and suddenly slammed his paw on Legacy's chest, sending him fly backwards a little. Legacy got up to his feet, only to see Pulsar coming right towards him. He forced a grin on his face as he prepared to hit - or get hit - again.

Tef's eyes fluttered open. She remained still, not moving any part of her body, not giving any sign of the fact that she was awake. Her green eyes, darker shade than normally, gazed into the jungle she saw ahead. She didn't know how long she had been sleeping. But even if she had slept for hours, she wished she could have remained asleep forever.

Tef closed her eyes, forcing back tears that were about to flow down her cheeks. She didn't want to cry, she had never wanted to. But always she somehow managed to break into tears.

Tef opened her eyes again. She felt like needing a walk, a long walk. Slowly the liopardess rose to her feet, glancing back towards the cave to see if anyone noticed she was awake. Then Tef jumpped down from the fallen tree she had been lying on and started to walk. She held her head lowered, her tail was dragging the ground behind her. Where was she going, she didn't know.

Without looking back, Tefnut walked into the night, not paying any attention to the fact that the horizon started to turn reddish as a new day was slowly starting.

[Femi]

Not to far from the Jahina pride, a little ruddy brown cub sat weeping in a patch of taller grasses. It had been weeks since he had last seen his sister. How could she have gotten lost like that? Or maybe- maybe she had killed something so big for them that she couldn't carry it back? Or maybe- maybe she was... No. No! Lefu couldn't bare to think such things. He couldn't handle anymore death in his life anymore. His ears turned back and his tail was tucked beneath his hind legs.

His little empty stomach rumbled loudly as he sat there, wondering what could have become of his sister- his foster mother. Lefu was too young to know how to hunt on his own, and his fear of most moving things didn't help him feed himself at all. So- when he really had needed it, the little cub had taken to eating the grasses or any scraps he could find from leftover carcasses that the vultures and other scavenger animals had left behind (which wasn't too many).

Lefu's cries soon became wails, his little voice going as far as it could be carried. Tears streamed down the dark cub's cheeks, making darkened streaks between the dots under his eyes. He hoped that his voice would reach the ears of his sister...

Azure walked along with the little cub. She saw some lions, lioness and a cub at a cave. She looked down at the little cub who was tagging along with her. "Look.. sweety, i best be on my way. Buuut.. how about you go and introduce yourself to them, they look nice. And there's even another cub there for you to play with." She smiled and nudged the cub forward gently. "Off you go.." She said and took a few steps back. "Goodbye.." The panther whispered and turned around. She trotted through the jungle, jumping over fallen trees, and dodging through the still standing ones, until she reached a clearing. This looked like a nice path to take, so she set off, once again on her journey.

(OOC: She wasn't getting much action so i thought i would bring in a new character. Azure is now out of this roleplay. )

The teal lioness ran through the bushes.. there had to be water somewhere around this place. She then stopped suddenly in her tracks when she heard wailing and moaning noises coming from another direction. Kamaria turned in that direction and ran as fast as she could. All of a sudden a little brown cub appeared infront of her, wailing away. So that's who was making the noises. The lioness bent her head down to the cub. "Are.. are you all right sweety?" Kam asked in her soft graceful voice.

(OOC: yup, that's ma new character Kamaria. and incase you didn't pick up on it.. the little brown cub would be Lefu. )

[Femi]

Lefu had been too wrapped up in his emotions and hunger pains to really notice the older lioness that was rapidly bounding towards him. When she arrived, Lefu panicked. He wasn't quite sure if she was going to help him or eat him. So- in a fit of sudden surprise and fear, Lefu's tail ducked between his legs a he sprang back into the grasses behind him and backed his rump into a broken off piece of a hollowed out log. Unfortunately, he was too big to fit in all the way, so the stump became stuck on his rear and he fell helplessly on the ground looking up at the teal lioness.

"P-p-please l-lady! D-don't eat m-m-me!" Lefu's cries for mercy came out as little squeaks as he pushed his logged hind end back from her as best as he could. Femi used to tell him to be careful of roaming lions, because if there wasn't enough food around, they would eat little cubs! The thought of such a thing scared the poor little cub to no end...

Kamaria watched as the cub stepped backwards and ended up getting his rump stuck. He then blurted out some words. "Eat you?" She asked suprised. "I would never do such a thing!" She said and smiled weakly at him. "Would you like some help?" She asked him, looking at the log he was stuck in. It didn't look too comfortable after all. She took a few steps forward. "I'm Kamaria by the way.." She said, hoping to make him less scared.

Tefnut kept walking. Apparently she had managed to slip away from the cave without anyone inside noticing her. She saw a faint movement from her eyecorner and turned to look as she walked. Was it a panther? It could have been, but it dissappeared very quickly and headed inside the jungle.

Tef's head turned forward and she kept walking, not paying any attention to where her paws led her. Not before she started to recognize her surroundings.
The liopardess lifted her head and stopped right on her tracks.
"Great..."
She was on Jahina territory once again. No one from her former pride had dared to come to her before when Legacy had been there. But now when Tef's father wasn't around anymore, Tef wasn't so sure...

Tef shrugged. What would it matter anymore. If the Jahina's wanted to get rid of Legacy's daughter, then fine. What was she to say anything against it?
The liopardess sighed and kept walking, not paying any attention to where she was walking or if someone would see her.

Katakasha's eyes shot wide open and her ears perked up. She had heard a faint growl, in the distance. Her head shot up and she looked around from her tree, listening.
And she heard it again.
The black lioness' eyes flashed and the next thing that could be seen was her standing on the ground, trotting through the forest, bolting into a run after a few meters. Her red mane flashed in some light that dared to make its way though the thick leaves of the jungle.
Kata looked up. It was becoming morning.
A frown rose to the black lioness' muzzle as she focused to running again, looking forward to prevent herself from tripping over to stones or branches.

[Cova]

Cova Rolled her eyes and returned to looking inside the Jahina Home cave...She took a slow walk around its insides. She crept along the side wall...it seemed someone at some time had been putting claw marks in the walls...She put her paw up to the mark and drew her claws up to the long scratch mark, they fitted perfectly...She looked almost scared as the claw marks must have been hers...but..she had no memory of this. It really had been a long time..She sighed and wondered if she had made the right choice. Putting this to the back of her head to wander back to the doorway. Uvumi and Gargoroth still had not reached here. She decided they would just be taking their time and instead looked out into the quite baron Jahina lands, a random figure roaming them...she thought nothing of it.

[Femi]

Lefu looked up at the lioness, still a bit afraid of her. He continued to stay hunkered down for a while, but began to relax after some time and conversation had passed, relieved to know that she would not eat him.

"I'm L-Lefu," he said meekly as he rolled over onto his back to try and shove the log off his butt. "No. I- I can do it," he said as he struggled to wiggle himself out of it, but to no avail. After a while of wiggling around on the ground, he looked up at the lioness again and laid his ears back in embarrassment and helplessness. "Yes. Can you help me?" He smiled goofily, knowing that he had said that he didn't need her help originally. He just wanted to be strong and independent like his big sister...

Kisima smiled up at Fire. She then asked him a question she had been pondering on for a while. "Is Teffy alright? Or is she just shy??" She asked him, staring up at him with big eyes. She then turned to where she had last seen Tefnut. "Teffy??" She said and tilted her head.

Kamaria watched Lefu in amusement as he declined her offer and tried to get out himself. He didn't suceed and then looked up at her goofily, asking if he could now have some help now. She walked behind him and put her two teal paws on the log. "Pull.." She said plainly to the brown cub.

[Femi]

Femi came prancing back within the boundaries of her pride, carrying the smallish-sized rabbit in her mouth. It wouldn't be enough for long, but it would suffice. After all- she was only just learning how to hunt and the fact that she was catching anything at all was a good sign, especially without being taught how to do it.

Once she had returned to the cave, which the pride had dubbed their 'den' of sorts, she lay just outside its doorway. Setting her kill down, she licked her freshly bloodied chops and smiled at the others.

"Hey guys. Whats up?" She asked as she went to lick at her meal. Femi had only joined the pride a couple of days ago, and even though they were a rather small pride, she didn't quite know everyone yet.

Lefu nodded at the funny colored lioness. Putting his hind paws on the log's edge, and pushing his front paws into the ground, the little cub grunted and pushed as hard as he could, using his little claws to grip the dry ground as best he could. And then- POP! The log was off! Lefu was sent flying across the ground in a tumbling heap until he hit a neighboring bush and landed upside-down on his head with his tail in his face. The little cub looked wide-eyed at Kamaria and then promptly started to giggle. "Woah! That was fun," he said as he righted himself and shook his fur clean.

[Fire]

"Tef's just having a little sad moment right now, Kisima... I'm sure that she'll get it sorted out soon." He nods with a smile and looks down to see her searching for something. He was wodnering what she would be searching for, but the word that came out of her mouth certainly solved that little problem. Tefnut was nowhere to be seen and he got a little worried. Should I go look for her?... She could get hurt... But, I guess she could mamnage on her own since she has been doing it for a while now. But.. That Kata...

Kamaria watched as the cub flew into a bush and landed on the floor. He looked up at her and she was about to rush over to him to see if he was alright, but then he started giggling, exclaiming that that was fun. "Good to see you're not hurt.." She said and chuckled softly. "Now.. do you live around here.... or are you heading somewhere?" She asked him before adding on another question. "Are you with anyone?"

The small cub looked up at Fire. "Where'd she go Fire?" She asked worriedly, her eyes darting about the area in search of her older friend.

((Yeah, that was my bad....the List is right. And no, he is 'technically a wander,' but he WILL be a part of of the Jahina pride...eventually...and yes- he will need a foster 'mom', though he is weaned.))


The young cub looked to the ground sadly. "No- I was with my sister, but we got separated about a week ago. I haven't seen her since. Thats what I was doing when you found me," Lefu said looking up at the teal Lioness. "Do- do you think you can help me find her," he asked hopefully taking a few steps towards her.

Katakasha's paws carried her quickly through the jungle and soon enough she was near the place where she had previously left Legacy. She slowed down her speed to trotting, then walking. Her sharp claws were extended as she walked closer as quietly as a shadow.

The black lioness' ears perked up. She heard sounds of fighting. Her eyes narrowed. Who had found Legacy from the jungle? Who...?
Kata took a step closer and crawled under a bush. From there she glanced at the small clearing.

The expression on her face turned surprised when she saw another male lion fight with Legacy. Kata had never seen this male before, but he looked surprisingly much like Legacy. Except that his mane was yellow when Legacy's was purple.

The black lioness decided not to enter the clearing. Not yet. She wanted answers, she wanted to know who the yellow maned lion was, and why he was fighting with Legacy. Kata laid on her belly under the bush, hoping that the light that was becoming stronger wouldn't reveal her from her hide.

A faint gust of wind blew at the savannah, blowing to the lonely liopardess' fur. Tefnut sighed and lifted her gaze from the ground. She realized how close she was to the Jahina Den.

Tef was about to keep walking when she saw movement at the Jahina Cave's entrance. She stopped right on her tracks, staring at a lioness who had emerged from inside the caves. Tef thought the lioness looked a bit familiar, but then again so did almost everyone from her former pride.

Tefnut hesitated. She wasn't sure if the lioness had seen her. The liopardess didn't know how to react if someone from the pride would come to check who she was. She would wait, for a moment. Stand there and see if they'd come. If not, then she'd continue walking. If yes..
She would just have to see what happened.

"Come on! Give up already!"

Legacy frowned at Pulsar's words, pouncing on him again. They both had wounds in their bodies, they both were not going to give up until other one was defeated.
"I never give up, Pulsar."
Legacy's reply was no more than a whisper, but it was loud enough for Pulsar to hear. The purple maned lion grinned as he swinged his paw on his brother's face. Pulsar managed to pull his head backwards to prevent the paw hit his eye, but he felt Legacy's claws rip his skin around the muzzle.

"Why are you fighting?" Pulsar asked as he lowered his head to avoid Legacy's claws again, pouncing then right up to Legacy and knocking him to the ground by sweeping the weight out of his front legs.

Legacy hit the ground, but used his movement to roll aside and rise up to his feet again just before Pulsar's paws landed on the spot where his head had been a moment ago. Legacy had the grin on his face, the emotionless grin he always had. He saw his opportunity and pounced up at Pulsar's side, knocking them both down to the ground. A dust cloud rose, hiding them both from sight momentarily. When the dust faded, it appeared that Pulsar had pinned Legacy down.

"You're loosing your touch, brother" Pulsar said with an amused grin. His amusement, however, didn't reach his eyes.
Legacy looked up at Pulsar with a blank face, but then his emotionless grin came back.
"Are you not forgetting something, brother?" he said.

Everything happened very quickly. First Pulsar had his brother at the ground, then all of a sudden Legacy was standing on his feet, Pulsar was on his belly at the ground as Legacy held his right front leg behind his back.
"Tsk tsk tsk... Too slow as always" Legacy commented.

Pulsar's eyes flashed, then he somehow managed to roll on his back and kick Legacy away with his backfeet. He rose up again, but his expression was now blank and the amused grin had dissappeared. He watched his brother stand up.
The grin came back.
"You're getting weaker" Pulsar informed.

And it was true. Legacy was now shaking slightly. He had not fully recovered from the fight he had had with Mino, and this fight with Pulsar was making him even more tired. Legacy felt his legs could give up at any moment, only his strong will made him stand. And he knew as well as Pulsar that if this would keep going, he, Legacy, would not be the winner. With a blank expression, Legacy watched as Pulsar prepared to pounce on him again.

[Fire]

Fire looked down at Kisima once again with a small smile on his, being careful not to show any of his worriment towards the little cub underneath him. The last thing he wanted was Kisima scared. "I'm sure she just went for a walk for something. Probably for a drink of water."

Kisima looked back up at Fire. "Oh... okay..." She said and smiled weakly. She then jumped off Fire's leg, which she had attached herself to, and took a few steps forward. "You wanna go for a walk aswell? I have some energy i need to use." She stared up at him with a big, begging grin, trying to convince the lion to go for a walk.

Kamaria looked down at the cub. So he had a sister. "Is your sister a cub aswell?" That could be quite dangerous... another small cub, wondering about on her own. "Yes, of course I can help you." The teal lioness replied, although she was pretty sure the only thing she could do was look for Lefu's sister. "So how bout we stick together then, aye?"

Gargoroth glanced at Uvumi, nodding his head in the direction of the Otana pride's lands. "The Otana reside there." He sat down just outside the cave's mouth. "They're all a bunch of weaklings if you ask me." He then noticed Cova coming out of the cave. He grinned a bit, strange for him. "Is everything as you remembered, Cova?"

Kiala listened as Fire explained where Tefnut must have gone to Kisima. She herself had watched the liopardess leave, but hadn't said anything to the two about it. She knew how it felt to mourn...and feel completely lost in life. She knew a bit of alone time of reflection would do Tef a lot of good.

Then, out of no where it seemed, Femi, a new lioness to the pride, came bounding up beside them. Kiala took a few steps back when she did, still wary of the newcomer. The only lions she didn't feel timid around were Fire...and Mino, and he was no longer around. The little incedent with Gargoroth was probably just that...incedental. She squeeked a small "Hello" to Femi, not to be rude, but then layed down and didn't sat anything else.

Lefu shook his head as he took a few steps towards towards the teal Lioness, ears flopping as he did so. "No. She's older. Femi used to hunt for us when mommy died. She wasn't very good at first, but then she got better. I a'member this one time she brought us a baby gazelle! That was the biggest thingy she ever caught." The little cub realized her was rambling, as children often do, and he quieted himself, moving to stand under the lioness' legs. He looked up at her with a smile on his face when she offered to stay with him. "Ok. Thanks!" His little tail wagged back and forth happily.

Tefnut kept still as she saw other lions move around near the Jahina Den. She swallowed and flattened her ears when a male lion approached the lioness Tefnut had been watching. Tef knew this lion, she had seen him...

Tef didn't know if Gargoroth had seen her. Apparently not since he wasn't looking at the liopardess' direction. Tef bit her lip, deciding it would be wiser to try and get away now that no one had yet noticed her precence.

The liopardess lowered her head, putting paw in front of another slowly, looking all the time to the direction of the Jahina Den, hoping she could slip away un-noticed.

Katakasha lifted an eyebrow as she watched the two lions fight. A brother? The black lioness hadn't known Legacy had a brother... This was very interesting.
A grin came to Kata's muzzle. She wondered if this brother of Legacy's knew about Tefnut. If not, then her tongue just might slip...

A frown appeared. Legacy wouldn't like that, not at all. The black lioness decided she had seen and heard enough. Legacy clearly hadn't enough power to fight, though the purple maned lion propably wouldn't admit that.

"I would reconsider is it really worth continuing the fight if I was you..."

Kata said this with a calm voice, a slight grin on her face. She stepped out of the bushes, standing behind Pulsar, waiting for his reaction. She had her claws extended, ready to be used at any moment.

[Fire]

(Be a little patient, Femi... In the RP, there was a huge loss and everyone's still recovering.. Just be more friendly and I'm sure they'll be glad to talk to you. )

"Awww.. But I just went for a long walk..." He was just about to say something else when he saw the grin and the eyes mixed. Heh heh. it's almost a curse that I fall for anything cute... "Aaaaaall right... I'll go for a walk with you. Hop on, little one." He said while crouching low to the ground.

[Cova]

Cova Jumped out of her deep thought as Gargoroth addressed her. She looked across and smiled weakly.

"Not quite..."

Her view being caught on movement not far away from the group. Cova raised an eyebrow as it was a strange Creature...a liopardess infact.

"i don't remember us having leopards in the our Pride..."

She nodded her head in the direction of the creature, looking across to Gargoroth to see if he could shed light on the subject.

Kisima grinned cheesily at Fire as she jumped up onto his back. She then turned to see a lioness called Femi. "Hellooooooooo." She said and griined at the lioness before turning back to Fire. "Let's gooo!!"

"Well... i'm sure it won't be that hard to find your sister, since she is older." She then looked down as Lefu ran under her and came out between her legs. She grinned at him. "Do you wanna walk or do you wanna ride on my back?"

Pulsar's eyes shot open when he heard a voice behind him. He kept his eyes locked at Legacy, seeing how his brother was about to fall down from his feet. Legacy had an odd expression on his face. A hint of relief was there, but it was mixed up with annoyance and... hate, perhaps? And all the time Pulsar's brother was looking at the source of the voice behind Pulsar himself.

A frown appeared to Pulsar's face momentarily as he turned around to see who had dared to step in between the fight. To his surprise, he saw a black lioness with fire red mane growing from her back. Pulsar lifted an eyebrow. This indeed was an odd lioness. And the expression on her face just made the feeling of her oddness stronger. Pulsar saw she was grinning, but he also saw that she had her claws extended.

"Oh... Reconsider, you say..." Pulsar begun.
"But don't you think it is only fair that I have a chat with my dear brother?"
When he said the word "brother", he turned momentarily at Legacy, grinning. The purple maned lion had a blank expression on his face.

"How nice of you to stop by, Kata..." Legacy spoke, ignoring Pulsar.
"May I ask what took you so long?"
Pulsar lifted an eyebrow. So these two knew eachother. And this black lioness was called... Kata? He could see she had had some experiences with fighting, the left ear of hers was a good example. Plus there was something in her movements that told she knew how to attack and defend.

'I should get out...' Pulsar thought. 'But Legacy...'
He knew Legacy wouldn't leave. Now that he knew his brother was here, he could always track him down. Now he only needed to get out.

[Cova]

Cova raised an eyebrow as Gargoroth was quiet on the question she had asked him. Her view went back to the wandering liopardes.

"Well im going to find out if you don't mind."

Jumping to her feet to slowly advance upon the figure..it was clear the animal had seen her and Gargoroth but seemed more contented in leaving than confronting. An old feeling of protecting her Prides lands licked at her insides as she called out.

"Hold on!...Are you lost?"

She said, not in a forceful or commanding tone. But more in a tone that allowed for explanation and reason. She knew Her fellow pride members had her back if the confrontation should prove hostile.

[Kirsui]

Tefnut flinched when she heard the lioness' words. She looked up at the lioness, she had golden fur and orange eyes. Tef lifted an eyebrow. The feeling that she had seen her before became stronger.

However, Tef wasn't sure, so she kept her mouth shut about that. Instead, she would have to reply to the lioness' question.
"Lost?" Tef said, a hint of amusement in her voice. "Oh no... I am never lost around here."
The liopardess glanced at the Jahina Den's entrance. Gargoroth hadn't yet started to come towards her.
Good for Tef...
"I haven't seen you around here before.." the liopardess said, focusing again at the golden lioness in front of her. She had to try, to test what the reply would be.
"Are you new in the Jahina pride?"

Katakasha's eyes narrowed when Legacy questioned her.
"I was doing what you told me to do" she snapped at Legacy, keeping her eyes locked at Pulsar.

Should she pounce on him? Should she fight this yellow maned stranger? The thought was tempting, she felt her body move slightly to a fighting position. But then again, Legacy was there. And this Pulsar was his brother. It might not be a good idea to just suddenly attack him.
So, Kata decided to wait, wait and see what happened.

[Cova]

It was Cova's nature not to be hostile...even when her old pride had been at full strength she was never the one to pick on a wanderer. Certainly never one to confront one. Suddenly she wasent sure of how to handle the situation, perhaps it was because Gargoroth was watching that made her come over.
The liopardess seemed to know what she was doing..her self-righteous answer to Covas question told her she did know her way around and the way she glanced over Cova's shoulder at Gargoroth made her wonder.
