"Akida... With all due respect... Are you nuts?!?! Legacy's probably the last person that we'd want to see right now..." Fire retorted back at him.
"Fire... What would you rather have... Knowing that you could have at least some kind of protection?... or having two things to worry about that could end our lives?...."
This question took Fire aback for a moment as Akida revealed the truth. It was a harsh one at that. "Ok then... I will go and see what I can do as far as Legacy goes... If I do run into her, I would do better at running away, because if she killed Bleak... I don't know what she'll do to me..."
Akida understood the logic to Fire's plan as he compared the two bodies. "Mhmm. I will stay and protect these two while you're gone... Be careful."
Fire nods and walks off into the jungle, heading straight for what could be the most difficult thing he has had to face yet...

Katakasha had been walking along for a good while. She was frowning slightly, glaring around in annoyance. "Great..." she muttered to herself. "I was supposed to get the information out of her! And what happened? She got information out of me, ME!" Kata growled angrily, stopping in front of a tree that had appeared in front of her. "What are you looking at?!" she growled to the tree. "I'M the one who will walk along and YOU are the one to move out of my way!" Kata growled even more, still staring at the tree. If one would have been looking at her in that moment, one would have thought she was completely insane.
Kata took a deep breath, forcing the growl go back and taking the control of herself again. She lifted her head slightly as she closed her eyes. "Relax, Kata" she spoke on a soft tone of voice. "You'll have your revenge, and all of them will suffer..." The lioness opened her eyes again as a slight grin appeared to her face. She then contninued walking again, being clearly much happier than a few minutes ago. Her tail swayed slightly from side to side as she walked, her eyes were shining in excitement. She was planning, making the future ready for herself. She thought of different options that she could make, yet leaving some space for surprises that could ruin her plans so that she would have to start all over again. Kata didn't care. She was ready to start again if that was needed.

((I really hope I am not overstepping my boundries here ^^;; ))
Demitrius looked around him, he had been walking around aimlessly for a long while. He couldn’t lay down, not during the storm, with no shelter. He was on the edge of the forest, the river was calming in front of him. He took a drink, ears and eyes open and weary. He looked around, he herd voices, two females. He followed them, weaving between the trees, stopping in the bush when two females came into view. He hunkered down listening, inspecting them. One seemed hurt, she was rather young, the other was black. He perked his ears as they talked, and laid them flat again when the dark, elder female walked away. She was very interesting, he snuck through the bushes, leaving the injured one to her self. His curiosity peaked with the angry adult, no heart? He chuckled to himself, she was so blind, if she truly had none she would have not talked of her past. He had found soon how angry she was at herself, yelling at a tree, insane, but it was one way to relieve herself. His instincts screamed at his own insanity, this female could kill him with no problem, perhaps that’s what he wanted in the deepest recesses of his mind.

Mino had regained his sight as Akida and Fire had been talking. When Fire left Mino went to stand in his way, but the pain of his injuries stopped him. He flinched and withdrew from the pain. "FIRE NO! DON'T DO IT!" He screamed after his friend, but it seemed all too late, Fire was already gone. Mino just growled as he cursed himself for not stopping Fire. But there wasn't anything he could do. He let out a sigh before looking over at Kiala with a sad expression, then slowly limping his way over to her and sitting down beside her. He rubbed his head against hers as though he was looking for comfort. But he did so without even realizing what he was doing. all he could think about was how his friend was practically going on a suicide mission...
---------------------------------------------
Somewhere in the Jahina lands, Legacy had been walking around aimlessly. It was probably the first time in a long while he had done such a thing. Most times in recent he had either someone to torture or some place to be, but now.... Now, he just seemed to be walking, his mind void of any thought, and it was clear by the expression on his face, it lacked anything that would have hinted emotion, feeling or anything of the sort. If one would have been to describe him, one could have said he seemed like an empty shell of a lion. This state changed rapidly however as the sound of thunder in the distance reached him. Immediately his eyes narrowed and focused in and he frowned several. Turning his head he looked up behind at the sky. The storm had seemed to be passing. Legacy snarled at the idea, the storm was fine when it was unleashing it's fury onto the land. It reminded him much of his mood. Turning his head back around, he stopped when he came to a ledge. Looking over the land he realized he had walked to the border of the two lands. Before him lay the Otana, behind, the Jahina. It seemed that even in a state of complete unawareness, his conscious still stopped him from leaving the land of his pride. Like he had been chained down to the area by something. He let out a sigh and lowered his head slightly in pain. Something inside him was killing him. At that moment he felt like he was missing a big part of himself. turning toward the jahina land, he proceeded to sprint back toward the jungle. it took him a few minutes until he arrived at the edge of the vast piece of green lush vegetation. Stopping to look around, he then proceeded into the jungle making his way around the trees, over the obstacles, till he came to the river. his eyes shifted around as he scanned the area for any signs of other lions, but noticed nothing. It wasn't till he leaned down to take a drink that out of the corner of his eye, he seen Tef lying down near a tree. He brought his head up quickly and looked in slight shock for a few seconds, then walked back slowly out of her view. Letting out a breath of relief he then turned to follow the river along the way in which it winded into Jahina territory. This path was the only way to reach the grave of his mate, but even then only someone who knew the way could find it. And at this moment in time, he felt he needed to visit her and seek her insight.

Kata stopped walking. The grin on her face faded away so quickly that it seemed it had never been there. Her eyes narrowed as she looked around. You are followed, Kata... she thought. She sniffed the air carefully. It smelled like every jungle after a storm, wet ground and plants. And then she picked up a scent of a lion. Her eyes flashed. None of who I know... And a young one, I suppose... she though as she shook her head slightly, causing her mane to sway from side to side before it fell back down against her sides, still soaking wet. "Come out" she spoke, keeping her head up proudly as usually. "I can smell you there, so come out and show yourself to me." Kata stood there, waiting in silence to see what would happen next.

Akida walked over to Mino after he yelled at him. "Mino!... This is the best thing we can do for the moment... And I'd rather get Fire to go out by himself than with all of us since I don't you or Kiala to be hurt... And since I'm not exactly on Legacy's good side at the moment, Fire's our only option."
************************************
Fire was always keeping his eyes open, his ears perked, and nose high in the air, for this was a time that he was in danger of suprise. The element itself was one that Fire never messed with since he knew it well. He had been walking for some time when Legacy came into his view. He jumped behind a bush to get out of Legacy's periferal vision and watched him. Oddly enough, he seemed lost in himself... This took aback Fire as he saw Legacy slink away to somewhere. He decided it was best to leave him and continue on. Who knows what Legacy would do in that state of mind...
Fire continued to walk along the path of the river, turning to the left a little and catching Tef in the corner of his eye. After the way I treated her, she wouldn't even want to talk to me... Yet, deep inside, he wanted desperately for Tef to speak with him. Just to hear her say something or just... anything.. would make him feel better and not so depressed...

Demitrius blinked, but a sneer crossed his muzzle, she was good to be able to sense him. He was the best hunter his pride had ever put out. He stepped from the brush and padded to her, stopping directly in front of her. he stood head high, not showing weakness. He looked her directly in the eye, but not in a challenge. He said nothing, waiting for her to speak first, he was rather quiet by nature.

Katakasha lifted an eyebrow when she saw the young male lion appear from the bushes. Her eyes narrowed slightly when the male stood in front of her, looking her into eyes with his head help high. She looked back at him, not saying a thing for a moment. Pffff, another weakling... she thought slightly annoyed, even though her exprassion was blank. "Who do you think you are to follow me?" she asked on a cold tone of voice. She had absolutely no respect towards others, especially one who was clearly much weaker than she. "It doesn't matter" she continued before the male could reply. "Not to me." Kata grinned slightly. It was an evil grin, one that was very common on her face. "But I must say you are very brave to step right in front of me on a day like this... Or very very fool." Kata stopped speaking, her grin faded away as her expression turned blank again. She glared at the other lion as she waited what kind of reply he would make.

Demetrius blinked, but did not back down. “I can be a little of both.” He stated, brave yes, fool not quite but he knew better than to argue. “perhaps.. it’s the fact I do not know you, nor what you are capable of.” He offered with a risen brow. His expression did not change, it still seemed bored, uninterested. Though if on looked, his eyes gave him away, they did not show fear, but they did reveal his interest.

Kiala's eyes stayed on the ground even as she saw Mino move next to her. As he came to her for comfort, her eyes widened a bit and her heart began beating fastly, but she soon got over the shock and settled into it, smiling a bit as she layed a paw upon his own. "I..I'm sure Fire will be just fine, Mino." She then took her paw off of his and looked out the mouth of the cave, trying to believe herself what just came out of her mouth.

Kata chucled and shook her head. "Yes, true... You don't know who I am..." she said with an amused expression. "Or what I can do." Her amused expression turned into a devilish grin. "I could give a demonstration... Right here, at this very moment. After losing your ears and broken a couple of legs, you'd know better when thinking of showing your face to me again." Kata let out a growl while she was grinning. But her growl sounded more like a purr. Even thinking of all the fun she could do to the lion in front of her made the grin on her face grow wider. Then suddenly her grin turned into a frown. "But I assure you... I could do worse than ripping your ears of and taking your ability to walk. Do you know how painful it is when one tears your eyes out of your head?" Kata's eyes flashed. "Oh yes, that's very painful... I tried it with one lion some time ago, and he was screaming very loudly during the process." Kata recalled that moment and let out a sigh. "Sadly, he was so old that his heart couldn't take it... He died after I had ripped only one eye away..." Kata looked at the young lion in front of her. Maybe she could try it with him? A grin came back to her face when she thought about that. "Keep that in mind, brat" she said. "I have no time to play with you at the moment, but I'll see what I can do the next time we meet." With the grin on her face, Kata walked past the young lion, looking at him as she did. Then she dissappeared between the trees.

Demetrius didn’t seem fazed at all. He was quite strong, despite his age, he could give the old lioness a run for her money, or at least make it quite difficult for her to hurt him. He acted almost weak, but it was not true. He was a bit curious as to how he could fight this stuck up wench, he sneered to himself and turned walking the opposite direction, this could prove interesting…

They sat there in silence, the only sounds were the fading crack of thunder and the slowly receding fall of the rain. Kiala took her eyes from the outside world and looked over at Akida and then at Mino. What were they to do? Fire was out there, fending for himself while they stayed back and did nothing. Her eyes then went to the ground. When had it come to this? Assassins in the war? She closed her eyes, trying to think of anything to help. Her frustration was only amplified by her thoughts. Since when did she interfere with the matters of others? Since when did she allow for another, especially a male, to sit this close to her? She opened her eyes again. These things all happened when she made friends in those around her. She finally had friends, and she didn't understand these feelings that went along with the friendship. She had never known such a feeling, her timid nature keeping others away all through her life. But...those in this pride were different. They were willing to stick out their necks for each other, something that no one had ever done for her. She looked to Mino, sitting beside her. He was taking all of this quite hard, and she didn't know what to do. The storm outside finally completely let up, the only drops being the ones falling from the top of the mouth of the cave. Slowly, she walked over to the mouth, looking out into the lands of her pride. Yes, her pride. She was apart of this whether she liked it or not and so were they. Her brows furrowed slightly and she closed her eyes. Then, with a nod of determination, she bolted out of the cave. Her footfalls sank in the mud a bit, splattering it all over her dark grey coat. The look of determination never left her face, even if she didn't know what she was doing. She was going to find Fire, let him know he was not alone in this. She wanted him to know that he had friends there to back him up.
She stopped momentarily, her breaths panting from her as she looked around. She had come to the border lands, the line of separation between the two prides. The pain in her side had returned, but with great difficulty, she shrugged it off. Where had Fire gone off to? She had no idea, so she decided her best choice was the Jahina lands. Slowly, she walked into them, a sudden shot of fear signaling down her spine. She took great care in every step, trying her best not to be spotted. What was she doing? She still didn't know how she would ever find Fire, there was an endless amount of places that he could be. What was she thinking that she could find him? She sighed heavily and continued on, not letting her thoughts bring her down.
______________________________________________________________
Gargoroth had continued to sit at the mouth of the cave, looking out over the lands. He was beginnning to get restless just sitting there. He wanted some action, wanted some contact with another. Where was everybody? He squinted his eyes to take a better look about the land before they fell upon a moving figure. It was difficult to see, but as the moon, now finding it's way in the sky, shone down upon the lioness, her pelt seemed to shine a bright color of white. The mud from her paws made his eyes widen slightly. Could it be? He closed his eyes and rubbed his paws to them, hoping that they were not decieving him. He looked out again, and whether it was a trick of the moon or a trick of his mind, he saw the lioness there with white fur and brown markings, and for the first time in years, he smiled in joy. He lifted his body from it's reclined position and leaped out of the cave, sprinting as fast as he could to the lioness, the silly smile still on his face. Had he actually found her after all these years? He soon came to the realization that he had not when the trickery of the moon and his mind fell through. The dark grey pelt, splattered with mud, shot out at his eyes as if trying to blind him. The lioness looked up as she heard him fastly approaching, and a look of horror crossed her face. Gargoroth's smile faded as soon as it had come and a scowl formed upon his muzzle, his eyes narrowing to slits. It was her.
Kiala stopped in her tracks as she saw him quickly approaching, the horrified look still playing on her face. She backed up a bit, her terror taking over. He was going to kill her, she could see it in his eyes. She turned her body and tried to make her way back toward the Otana lands, trying to use her skills in speed to aid her. Her legs carried her to her own lands, but her ears could still hear heavy footfalls getting closer and closer. She didn't know what was happening, why he was chasing her with such ferocity. Gargoroth, meanwhile, was completely mindblank. All thoughts of repercussions or consequences completely left his head and his mind only focused on one thing: pain. He wanted to cause her pain and to the biggest degree. He could see that she was fast and that it would take a lot of energy to keep up, let alone catch her. But the addrenaline ran through his blood, pumping to his muscles and keeping them from tiring.
Tears began to well up in Kiala's eyes as she caught site of the cave. She knew she could not run there, she didn't want to put Mino in danger anymore than he was already. So, a bit reluctantly, she quickly made a turn toward the jungle, never once looking back to see the large blue lion chasing after her, gaining inch by inch. She would tire soon, and she hated to think of what would happen when that time came.

When he saw Kiala run off, Akida took a look at her and then smiled a little as he watched her. "Well, Fire... Looks like it's finally happening... Your fight that you wanted... has support all the way..." He said this before walking to Mino and saying to him. "You want me to go, Mino?... Or would you rather let me stay?..."
***********************
Fire had stopped another lion just outside of the jungle, taking back what he mumbled about it being a stupid lion as it was a lioness. And closer examination revealed that it was... Kiala? It couldn't be... Fire thought that she was hurt. She looked frightened, though... very frightened. He took this into precaution as he saw her being chased by Garagaroth... And he looked ***...
He took that as an advantage before runing full speed ahead and slamming his body straight into Gargaroth's side, knocking him over for a moment and running with Kiala, giving her motivation to keep going and a chance for her to escape.

Tef hadn't noticed Legacy when he had come to the river. She hadn't noticed Fire when he too came there. She didn't seem to notice anything that was happening around her. She just kept staring sadly at the ground in front of her, closing her eyes from time to time when falling back to her thoughts. Maybe... she thought, looking down at her paws. Maybe I... was too hard on them. Maybe I should never come back! What has gone to me?
Tef let her head fall down, placing it between her paws. She looked at her hurt paw for a moment, then closed her eyes as she covered her face with her good paw. She tried to get rid of her thoughts, to chase them away and think of something that would make her happy again.
But there just didn't seem to be any room for happynes inside her. Tef took a deep breath and let herself cry again. She seemed to be doing that alot, but she couldn't really help it. Crying just seemed to be the only thing she could do besides arguing with her firends.
Katakasha had been walkin inside the jungle. Her bad mood seemed to be fading away slightly, even though she still had a slight frown on her face. The rain had faded away and her mane started to dry. She stopped for a moment and shook herself, causing her mane to 'stand up' again. Satisfied, she continued walking until she came to the end of the jungle.
"Here again?" she muttered when she saw the river. Had she been walking in a circle? Oh great... That was just what she needed. Kata's eyes flashed. She was about to turn back, but something caught her eye. She saw Fire. Interesting... she thought as a slight grin appeared to her face. She was about to walk to him when she noticed something else. A grey lioness that was chased by a blue lion.
Kata's eyes narrowed when Fire rammed to the blue lion and continued to run beside the grey lioness. Who was that lioness anyway? Kata had never seen her before and she would find that out. Maybe it could appear to be useful for her. Then she focused on the blue lion and watched with interest what he would do next.

Kiala's eyes widened when she saw Fire, a bit of relief and then she began to become worried once again. She didn't want her friends to get hurt because of her ignorance of going into the Jahina lands. She was then relieved when she saw Fire running beside her after he had knocked Gargoroth off his feet. She turned to him and smiled a bit, still angry at herself for letting this all happen.
Gargoroth didn't expect what happened. One second he was dead on Kiala's trail, the next he was on the ground, taken by suprise. He looked up quickly from his position on the wet ground, narrowing his angry eyes. He had seen that lion before. He was an Otana as well. Quickly he jumped to his feet, letting out a deep roar of anger. He had been fooled by the looks of the lioness earlier. He had gotten his hopes up when he thought she was someone else. And now, he had been down trodden by this Fire lion. By the time he had regained his composure, they were too far ahead of him to keep up, let alone catch. He may have strength, but with the weight of his body and muscles, speed wasn't his strong point. He stamped the ground and growled curses to himself as the mud splattered about his mane and leg. Taking a deep breath, he tried to calm down. He didn't need to get into this anyhow, he didn't have orders to kill either of them from Legacy. Although he wasn't too keen on following orders and the like, he respected the elder lion, and feared him.
Kiala looked behind her as they pulled away, seeing that Gargoroth was still on the ground. She and Fire made their way into the jungle area, where she watched Gargoroth get up, hearing his loud roar. Then, with relief, she watched as he slowly turned back to his own territory of the Jahina lands. She then winced in pain as the broken rib in her side came back to her immediate attention. She took a deep breath, trying to play it off as fatigue, not wanting to worry Fire. She would be alright eventually. She then turned to him, a slight smile on her face despite the pain. "Thank you...Fire." She then looked to the ground in embarrassment. "I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't been there..." She didn't like depending on others, but she was glad he was there to help her out.

When he saw Kiala slow down, Fire did as well. His breath was suprisingly not as harsh as he had thought it would be. Adrenaline really does help, he thought to himself. When Kiala said her thanks, Fire smiled at her and then nodded. "You're welcome, Kiala. I never turn my back on my friends..."
He then thought immediately of Tef, wondering what she was doing and was a little sorry for leaving her. He wanted to tak to her, but 'other' things complicated it a bit..

Katakasha frowned. The blue lion hadn't gone after Fire and this lioness. What an idiot, she thought. If she had been the blueish lion, she would have ran after them, no matter how far they were. Nothing should prevent one from revenge. That was how Kata saw it: she thought the lioness had done something and the bluish lion wanted to revenge it.
Kata shook her head in dissapointment. It seemed that there was only one lion around who could match with her. And that one wasn't one of those weaklings she had met lately.
With a slight grin, Kata turned and walked back inside the jungle. She knew that she could wander of to Jahina lands and accidentally meet Legacy. But why should she care about that? She wasn't afraid of him. It was fascinating to meet a lion who was so similar with her and yet so different, as she had said to Tef earlier. This in mind, Kata kept walking around.
Tef lifted her head up. Her eyes were a bit darker than usually and she had a slightly depressed expression on her face. She stood up carefully and flinched when she felt pain in her hurt leg. With a sigh she looked around.
If she had done that a moment ago, she had seen what had happened between her friends and Gargoroth. But now, she was alone. How typical... she thought and let her head fall a bit. With another sigh, she turned and was about to walk inside the jungle. But before she could do that a thought came to her mind. What if she would meet Katakasha again? What would happen? Even though the black lioness hadn't hurt her earlier, would she do that inside the jungle where no one could see what happens?
Tef looked over her shoulder, over the river to the other side of it. Being at the river reminded her of how easily she could just escape from the lands of the two prides, escape to the lands where other prides were. "No..." she muttered. Tef had tried that. And it hadn't worked.
Then... What if she would join her friends at the Otana pride? Tef shook her head. That wouldn't work either. She didn't want to join them and fight against the Jahina pride. She thought about her friends. They surely would be happy to have her beside them. But again no one would care how she felt about the war and how everyone wanted to kill others from the other pride.
Then Tef thought about the Jahina pride. What if... she went back to them? She felt her eyes come wet. She couldn't do that, not after leaving them once. And if she did return to them, she would have to stand against her friends... "What am I going to do?" Tef asked herself. She knew the answer. There was nothing she could do, absolutely nothing. She had already forgotten how it was like to be herself, to be the kind being she really was. And that had happened in a very short time. What would happen next? Would she become only a shadow of herself, with no other feeling than depression in her? Tef looked up to the sky. It was becoming dark again. "I am lost... Why is it me who has to be like this? Don't you see I've had enough? Why-"
Tef let her head fall down again. She started to realize that being alone wasn't safe to her anymore. With all that time she was alone, she would keep asking these questions of herself. And with each question, she turned into that depressed shadow of herself. Tef let herself fall down on her side and closed her eyes. She let herself cry again. But she didn't let the questions into her mind. "Help me..." she whispered weakly, repeating that in her mind to keep herself away from questions.

Mino had just been sitting there looking at the entrance when Kiala stormed off after Fire, even to the present time he was still sitting there, watching it. Staring, as though he was waiting for them to return any moment. He would have been up and after her and Fire in a flash, if his injuries still didn't need a bit more time to heal. At lest he could support himself now, at least it was something. Thoughts ran through his head as he sat there, the world seeming to fade out behind all the ideas and notions and wishes that flooded his mind at that moment. He wondered what the point in the war was, things now seemed to be no more then just senseless killing and hurting. "Why?" A small breath of air escaped in the form of a faint question as he looked on sorrowfully at the world outside the cave. The environment where his friends were, battling what odds he could only imagine.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Back in the jungle, Legacy was making his way back into the main area of the Jahina lands. Eyes to the ground, he just kept walking. The visit he paid had done him good. His mind was clear once more. However, with each passing day, his spirit weakened, he was loosing his touch and he knew it. As he was walking along, he bumped into Kata, nearly knocking them both over. "Hey! Watch where you are going!" He said angrily as he looked at Kata with a glare, before looking back forward again and continuing to walk. He didn't seem to care that she was in Jahina land, or what she was doing there. Let alone that he bumped into her.

Kata was surprised when Legacy bumped into her. At first, she was snarling at him, being really annoyed that he almost knoked her down. Then her snarl dissappeared as Legacy didn't seem to care what she was doing. Kata looked at Legacy with a lifted eyebrow. Now... What was wrong with him? Didn't he really care what she was doing? No... There's something wrong with this now... Kata thought. Her eyes narrowed slightly as a grin appeared to her face. Maybe... If she said something... "Your daughter is nearly dying, I could say..." she spoke on soft and amused voice. "Not physically... But her mental balance is shaking pretty badly. Who knows... Maybe she will turn out to be just like her father." Kata's grin turned into a smirk. "Good day to you" she said and turned away, heading off to other direction than Legacy. She didn't want to stay there and hear what he might reply to her, but eventually she would know what happened after this little 'meeting'.

Kiala took her eyes off of the ground to peer up at Fire. He looked troubled and she could guess why. She then looked once again to the ground. What had she thought she could do to help? There was nothing. She couldn't give words of comfort, she barely even spoke at all. She wasn't strong and she was hurt as it was. Where could she possibly give him aid in his time of need. She looked at her muddied paws. She had put her own life and that of others in danger by what she had just done, and for what? Nothing! She looked over to Fire again. He had called her a friend, and friends don't turn their backs on one another. Although she couldn't see it, perhaps there was something she could do for him.
"Fire..." She didn't really know what to say in a time like this. "I..I want to help you." She looked out to the lands of the prides again, looking to the cave where Mino and Akida sat. "I don't...really know what I can do...but if there's anything...just ask." She glanced at him again before shooting her eyes toward the ground.

Kisima walked along, staring at the ground. She heard someone speaking and looked up. There was a liopard looking animal. She walked up to her and tugged on her tail. " umm.. excuse me.. what exactly are you??" She asked tilting her head curiously. "I am a lion!!" She then added on.

Fire nods and smiles in agreement. "I'm glad that you are with me, Kiala...I have a feeling this is going to be one hell of a fight.." Fire nods and then looks out into the forest, raising an eyes slightly with an idea. "Come with me, Kiala... You and I are going to look for someone.."

Tef opened her eyes as she felt someone tugging her tail. Then she heard a voice, asking what she was. Tiredly she lifted her head up, seeing a small lioness cub. She stared at her with a blank expression, not really knowing what she was supposed to say next. "I am a liopard" she spoke weakly. Tef placed her head down and closed her eyes. Normally she would have become worried over the small cub, worried that the cub was alone on the land of two prides in war. But now... Her mind just refused to notice the fact that a small cub was alone on dangerous land. She was too tired to everything that was happening around. She wished she could just fall into a deep dream and never wake up to continue wandering around at the lands of the two prides with no destination. That was what she wished, and that was also something she couldn't have.

Kiala nodded without saying a single word. She stood up from her sitting position and waited for Fire to make the first move. She wondered silently who they could be looking for, hoping it wasn't who she was thinking it was.

Fire smiled as Kiala got up, happy that he had some support behind him. It was more than enough for him, but.. it felt necessary since things can go wrong. And with the recent history, the concept 'When things can go wrong, they will' definitley applies here. They started to slowly jog into the forest, Fire always keeping his eyes open for his objective.
Fire and Kiala had been jogging for some time, wondering if they ever would find her. But, lady luck was on his side today. His eyes caught the head of a certain liopard that he was looking for between two branches. He brought himself down to a walk when he slowly approached Tef and the new lioness cub that was down below. He had a speaking tone that wasn't threatening and didn't want any conflict between them. "Hey Tef. Who's your friend?" He chuckles softly and then sees her saddened face. The back of his mind was swimming with the thought that he might be just a little too late...

Tef didn't reply to the cub's question. She just simply laid there on her side, staring right in front of her, keeping her head down at the ground. Then she heard someone talking again. She let out a sigh, knowing she should have known who it was that talked to her. But for some reason she didn't. Slowly, Tef lifted her head and turned to look at the direction of the voice. It took a moment from her to recognize them as Fire and Kiala. A weak smile appeared to her face, but it faded away rather quickly as she placed her head back down. "I don't know who she is" she replied to Fire's question on a rather quiet tone of voice. Do I even know who I am anymore? she thought. Tef's eyes turned darker again and she let out another sigh. "May I ask what brings you here?" she asked quietly from Fire, staring at a small bush under a tree that was a few feet away from her.

Kisima walked up to the new female lioness. "I don't think she likes me very much." Kisima whispered quietly to the new lioness infront of her. "Do YOU know where i am?" She then asked tilting her head hoping to get a reply from this lioness.

Fire slowly walked over to Tef with a smile of sincerity, laying himself down and looking up at something with the corner of his eye, his tone very soft. "It's funny how I'm in a situation like this, isn't it?... I mean.. I have your father... Who everyone hates and wishes he was dead... And I have your mother.. Who was the most wonderful and amazing mother.. And then I have you... Who is the most caring friend a lion like me could ever have..."
"I wish that I could whisk everything away from you right at this moment and take you away somewhere where we didn't have to deal with all of this crap... But.. I guess we're stuck what we're stuck with... Not for long, maybe but.. At least we can slowly change it, right?... And.." He slowly reaches out a paw to place on ontop of your own warmly, squeezing it softly. "I just want to let you know that... Even though I seem to always be caught up in my own world... My world always has a part for you to speak up for me.. It always was there, but my alter-ego thought otherwise.. I will be here when you need to speak, Tef.. Because a best friend is hard to come by..."
