Oshiani looked behind her at Dakui and was about to say something when she saw Tando and Kirsui.
She turned back around and sighed.
''Why can't i have a mate.'' She thought to herself.
She'd always wanted someone to be there for her when she needed them. She looked up and kept following Sheek.. She needed a walk.

[Kirsui]

Kirsui looked up and saw Oshiani.
"She seems to be a bit down" she said and stopped smiling. Something was wrong with Oshiani, Kirsui just couldn't figure out what.
"Wait a sec" she said to Tando, gave him a nuzzle and walked to Oshiani.
"Are you all right?" she asked. She was worried of her and wanted to help - if she could.

Tando looked at Kirsui as she went over to Oshiani, she was right, Oshiani was hanging with her head. Tando decided not to go over to them and let them handle it themselves.
Instead he looked as his beauty, as her perfect body walked over the dry savannah floor, her eyes shining in the sun making her eyes gorgeous.

Oshiani walked along looking at the grass when she heard a voive next to her. She put up her head. It was Kirsui. ''Are you alright?'' Kirsui asked her. Oshiani smiled weakly ''Yea... i'm fine..'' She said and kept following Sheek.

[Kirsui]

Kirsui smiled a bit.
"No, you're not" she said. Oshiani definitely was down.
"Oh, come on" she said and tried to look Oshiani to eyes.
"What's bothering you? Don't say 'nothing', becouse I can tell something bothers you."

Oshiani sighed. She knew she couldn't get out of this.
''Ok.. but come away from the others.'' She whispered and walked over to a shady tree.
She looked at Kirsui.. she didn't want to tell her. She'd think she was stupid.
''Oh well... here goes nothing..'' She mumbled to herself.
''Ok... well...'' She didn't know how to put it.
''I guess.... i'm feeling lonely... like... i know i've got you guys and everything..... but i mean.. look at you... You have friends... and a mate. A mate who gives you love.
I have never had love before except for when i was a young cub... i guess.. i just want to know what it feels like...'' Oshiani said and looked down at the ground, she waited for a big outburst of laughing..

[Kirsui]

Kirsui looked at Oshiani, she was wordless.
Now she understood. She was lonely! And now Oshiani looked like waiting her to start laughing.
But she didn't laugh, how could she have...
Instead she went to her and gave her a big hug.
"I know what you feel like" she said.
"I know because I felt that way once."
Then she let go and layed down, thinking what to say next.
"I'll tell you something that only few know" she said.
"Before I left my pride, I was teased. It was horrible and I won't give you any further details. Let's say that it was mental teasing."
"So, there I was, left alone with a pack of older adolescent's, who saw me as an easy target to 'play' with. At my first hunt I left them."
She turned her eyes to Oshiani.
"I have felt lonelier than you can imagine. Every lion or lioness I met on my travel were all like my enemies. Then I met this little group..."
She turned her gaze to Tando and smiled.
"What I'm trying to say is that you will find that lion who is ment to you. It may take it's time, but you will find him, one way or another."

Tando wondered for a long time what they possibly could be talking about. Tando sighed and rolled over to his back and looked up into the heaven and then looked over at Kirsui and Oshiani in his eyecorner.
He caught Kirsui's eyes and gave her a lovingly blink and a soft smile, he formed his mouth with the words ''Love'' at Kirsui. Tando then gazed over at Oshiani, who seemed to be rather down.
He didn't want to interrupt them, but the way Oshiani looked, worried Tando a bit.

[Kirsui]

A young lion walked through long grass. The sun made his black mane shine and lightened up his lightning symbol - the symbol that had given him his name...
Flare.
He looked around and tried to search prey, but he couldn't see anything eatable nearby. Then he reached a cliff and looked down.
"Well well..." he said as he looked down. He saw pawprints. Atleast four lions had been there. He jumpped down and started sniffing the tracks. Two males, one female and...
"What's this?" he said as he reached the fourth ones. The scent was so familiar, but Flare couldn't remember who'se scent it was. Confused he climbed up. Then he started to follow the tracks.
"One wounded" he said quietly as he followed the tracks. Then he came to a river.
"One collapsed here."
Then he saw other track going to a cave. And ther leaving it. He followed the tracks that left the cave and climbed on a hill. And then he saw...
There was a small group of lions. He saw two males and three females. And one of the females looked very, very familiar...
"Kirsui?" Flare whispered as he looked to the lioness.

Kirsui saw moving and amidietly turned her eyes to the movement. She saw an adult lion on the hill. His mane glowed at the sunlight. But then she noticed the symbol on his left shoulder.
And that symbol she remembered.
It was Flare.

Tando looked over at Kirsui, who apparently had caught something in the distance. He just kept his eyes at her, didn't mind what she had caught in her eyesights. Only thing that mattered now was simply her, only her.
Tando then suddenly came back to the real world and got up to the feet, he saw something out in the grass.... black... a male lion!
Tando growled and walked over close to Kirsui and growled at the stranger, no one was going to touch his Kirsui.

[Kirsui]

Kirsui smiled for Tando's reaction.
"It's all right" she said and gave him a gentle nuzzle.
"I think I know him."

Flare was shocked. One of the males had just jumpped up and ran next to Kirsui, growling to...
...him!
Flare was very confused by this. Then he saw Kirsui giving a nuzzle for the male...
Oh, she has a mate? he thought and became even more confused.
He just continued watching them with his electrick blue eyes.

Oshiani smiled as Kirsui hugged her. After listening to her story she nuzzled Kirsui thanking her for her comfort.
''Thanks Kirs.''
She then looked behind Kirsui after Kirsui had turned around. She saw a male lion standing on the hill above them. His hair flickering in the wind. She looked at his shoulder and saw a marking on his shoulder.
Then Tando jumped infront of her view. Then she heard Kirsui telling him that she thought she knew this lion.
Oshiani got up and looked at the lion.

Dabiku had been walking by Sheek's side in her own thoughts, but was, despite her calm appearance, always alert. That was the only way a wanderer could survive, and when Oshiani and Kirsui wandered off, she knew it at once. The only thing she did miss out on, was the presence of another male... When she finally noticed, Tando had already rushed to his lioness' side and growled at the newcomer.

Dabiku spun around in a second, now fully focused on the stranger. He had an odd look to him... She raised an eyebrow and looked at him closely. She had never seen someone with black mane and organeish and white fur. Also she had never met someone with such a marking on his shoulder. It looked like... a lightning bolt?

She raised an eyebrow and watched with interest the three by the tree...

[Kirsui]

Flare didn't show his claws. He usually never did. And he wasn't going to attack. But aware, that he was. He sighed and started to aproach the lions, slowly. He didn't want to look offencive.

Kirsui saw the male starting to come thowards them. She stayed where she was, beside Tando.
She hadn't seen Flare for many years but that symbol of his was a sign to all of them who had sometime met him. As Flare got closer she finally broke the silence.
"You are Flare, right?" she asked calmly. She had been just a little cub when Flare had left. He had grown, a lot!

Flare stopped as he heared Kirsui speak. That voice had only little resemblence to the one he remembered. Of course... Kirsui had grown.
"Yes, I am Flare" he saidand calmly sat down. He had noticed something from Kirsui's voice.
Something had changed it. He remembered it as a happy and excited.
Kirsui's voice was happy, she seemed to have a mate. But there was a great misery behind her happines.
What's happened to my little pearl? he thought but kept silent. He had to speak with her, he had to know...

Kirsui smiled. It really was Flare. Then she looked to others.
"Guys, meet my dear brother Flare" she said.

''Oh, what an honor'' Tando said and smiled in relief, luckily this Flare wasn't going to cause any trouble or do anything to Kirsui. ''I'm Tando, Kirsui's mate'' Tando said and smiled brightly as his eyes glanced down at Kirsui.
''You never told me about a brother of yours'' Tando said and smiled with an raised eyebrow.

[Kirsui]

Kirsui smiled gave him a nuzzle.
"Yes , I told" she whispered quietly so that others wouldn't hear. "He's not my real brother, a cousin. His mom raised meafter... You know."

Flare smiled as the other male, Tando, started smiling.
"It's nice to meet you." he said and then looked to others. He saw the other male wih a golden lioness, who closely kept an eye on him. And then he looked to the other female near Tando and Kirsui. She was rather pretty.

Tando smacked himself on the side of the head. ''... My rememberance ain't that good anymore'' Tando said and giggled a bit as he returned the gentle nuzzle.
''So, what business do you have here Flare?'' Tando asked and smiled, trying not to sound rude or anything. He wouldn't like to get in an intro, similar to the one he was in with.... Dabiku.... ''*sigh*''

[Kirsui]

Flare turned her eyes back to Tando.
"Nothing special" he said. "Still trying to find a pride of my own, I quess."
He turned looking to savannah.
"I've travelled around, looking what's behind the hilsI see infront of me. I accidentally came here, I ran in the middle of a pack of hyenas and had to leave quickly. After getting them all after me at the same time."
Then he smiled and looked to the group.
"I've never seen such a pack of lions before" he said.
"How did you guys end up here?"

Tando gave Kirsui a smile and then a lick before walking over bside Flare and looked over the hills in the distance. ''We are wanderers.. we all met up at a waterhole just nearby, *sigh* and then I met Kirsui.. the world's most wonderful lioness'' Tando said and nudged Flare.
''Thank your mum for bringing such a lioness to the world...'' Tando paused and smiled weakly.
''If you ever see her again''

[Kirsui]

Flare smiled. Tando obviously knew something about kirsui's past.
"I doubt that" he said.
"I was exiled from the pack. And I won't go near it again, I quess."
Then he looked at Kirsui.
"You do know my mom only raised her, don't you" he said. "She really is my cousin."
Then he looked to Tando.
"Her mom died when she was very young. We aid she got killed at the hunt."
He sighed.
"That's only partly true. The huntresses were attacked by other hunters. They had a fight. The attacers vere chased away, but her mom didn't survive the attack."
"We couldn't tell the truth. It was too horrible - it would have breaked her. You may tell her, but I don't know if it's a good or bad idea."

Tando looked, terrified at Kirsui. ''I won't... I can't... I.. She has already been through too much already, I dont want her heart to be torn to pieces now that I finally got the chance to fullfill it with her'' Tando said and looked seriously at Flare.
''I can't tell her.. I doubt we have to tell her, that lioness has been through too much already.. she deserves a calm life, fill with love and care... I feel I'm here for a reason, I feel I'm here.. to bring that love... and give our cubs the love and everything, that I never had... I just want the opportunity, to change things'' Tando said and sighed after his.. ''speech''

[Kirsui]

Flare smiled. Kirsui had finally found someone who she could trust.
"I'm not quite shure what happened to her after I left the pride" he said.
"But from what you have said, I think it wasn't very pleasant experience."
Then he smiled even bigger.
"But I have the feeling that she will have happier life from now on. Please, take a good care of her."

''You have my personal word'' Tando said and smiled at Flare.
Tando then turned around and walked down to Kirsui.
''How's my princess?''
Tando asked and nuzzled her affectionally.
''We just had a talk about... things...''
Tando smiled softly and licked Kirsui.

Oshiani watched as the new lion who was called ''Flare'' if she had heard right, walked off with Tando.
She smiled at Kirsui. After a while Tando came back down and nuzzled Kirsui.
She looked at them and sighed slightly then looked at the new lion and smiled.

Sheek looked at The new Lion Flare
"hey Flare, great to meet a friend's family relation"

[Kirsui]

Flare nodded to Sheek. Then he looked to Kirsui. He had to know what had happened.
"A word with you, Kirsui?" he asked.

Kirsui smiled for Tando.
Then she heard Flare speaking to her.
"May I?" she asked and smiled.
"I won't be long" she promised and walked then to Flare.
"So, what's the proplem?" she asked curiously.
"Let's walk a bit" Flare said.
Kirsui sighed. She didn't want to leave the others, or leave Tando. But Flare had been her brother quite long so she just followed him.

They walked off from the hearing distance. Then Flare stopped and sat down. Kirsui instead preferred to stand.
"So, what happened after I left the pride?"
Kirsui didn't answer.
She didn't want to.
Flare sighed.
"What happened to you, my little pearl?" he asked quietly. A small tear appeared to Kirsui's cheek.
Flare had used to call her that when she had been a cub.
Kirsui turned her eyes to Flare.
"I don't have to tell you" she said. When she saw Flare trying to say something, she continued.
"I'm not a cub, Flare. Yes, you used to be my brother. But that was years ago! I am a lioness now."
Flare's eyes flashed.
"You really have grown up" Flare said. His voice was bittery.
Kirsui gave him a hug.
"You are still my brother, Flare. And as a brother you will stay. But I've got my own life now."
Flare smiled.
"I understand that" he said. "And I wish luck for you two. Tando seems nice."
Kirsui smiled and turned to look at Tando. Flare stood up.
"Let's get back. We don't wan't to let them wate, do we?"
Kirsui smiled again and then they started to walk back towards the others.

Tando turned around towards Kirsui and Flare and gave them both a smile. They probably just were having a talk, and who could blame them... They hadn't seen eachother for a century.
Tando walked over and nuzzled Kirsui lovingly. Her fur, rubbing against his, was a incredible and undescribable feeling, never had he thought she would even get softer than that.
''So, what did you and Flare talk about if you don't mind I'm asking'' Tando said and smiled softly. As he waited for an answer, he glanced at the horizon as the sun was beginning to go down, making the skies orange, including the heaven, which had been azure blue just moments ago.

[Kirsui]

Flare continued walking. He decited to leave Kirsui and Tando alone. Instead he went to the others and sat down near the white female.
"So, where are you three coming from?" he asked the other three lions.

Kirsui sighed And turned her eyes away from Flare, who had just went to talk with the others. She looked the horizon, but didn't seem to see how beautiful it was.
"Nothing special, I quess" she said.
"He just wanted to know what happened after he left the pride."
Then she pushed her head against Tando's mane.
"I couldn't tell" she whispered. "It's too..."
She stopped speaking and sat down. Then she sighed again.
"Anyway, he's staying as my brother."

Tando smiled softly.
''I'm glad to hear that.. heh... we are one little pride'' Tando said and nuzzled her cheek.
Tando layed down and pulled Kirsui in tight to his body, feeling her breath going through his big black mane.
Tando leaned close to Kirsui
''I love you Kirsui.. And I will never leave you again, not even death will take me from you'' Tando said and licked her ear playfully.

Dabiku approached slowly and on her guard, but moved a bit more relaxed now. She was still surprised with that she hadn't noticed the new male until Tando had growled at him, though, and that bothered her... What if that new one really had been an enemy? She would've seen him too late and that could be the difference between life and death on another pride's territory. However, she didn't have the time to think of something she had already told herself a thousand times, and instead concentrated on the new one. He was interesting...

When she came closer, she also noticed that his eyes were different than anything she had seen before. They were even more blue than her own! And she had never seen something like that. She sat down below the tree, careful not to sit down too close to Tando but still not looking like she avoided him, and then looked at the orangeish male. "And who might you be?" she said and raised an eyebrow, looking at him.
