Appearance
Fine, soft, light cream-colored fur covers Len's body. Their dusty brown mane is also remarkably soft, so much so that it tends to snag on brambles and branches, leaving Len with a perpetual crown of twigs and leaves.

At first glance, Len passes as an adolescent male, with a scruffy, sparse mane covering their head, the nape of their neck, and just coming in below their chin. Looking closer, it quickly becomes apparent that Len is fully grown and matured, with a trim, powerful frame in the prime of athleticism. While Len generally carries themself with a masculine flavor, their voice is notably high in pitch. Fluffy ear and elbow tufts, along with exceedingly long whiskers, tend to conceal Len's feminine physique. Most striking, perhaps, are Len's large, cyan eyes.

Perhaps because of their mane and masculine energy, Len is generally treated as a male and called by he/him pronouns. Their androgyny is hard to miss, though, and most don't bother to ask what Len prefers to be called. They don't, in fact, have much of a preference and are happy to float about social circles regardless of how they're perceived.

Bio
Len is a member of a large, well-to-do pride with an expansive territory. Perhaps because Len's gender was always in question, the Pride was amenanle to keeping them onboard with the lionesses, rather than exiling like the non-dominant males are. Len stays at an arm's length, though, enjoying the Pride's comforts while also serving them from afar.

Len acts as a scout for the family, specializing in environmental surveys. Pride leadership assigns Len with various scouting missions, through which they learn the latest of the savannah's happenings, comings and goings .Len has become highly skilled at reading the minute signs of the landscape, able to identify changing patterns, predict weather, and direct the pride according to shifts in resources. Some assignments lead Len away from the Pride for a couple days, while others last as long as a couple months.

Len enjoyed a comfortable upbringing, and although it was never a secret that Len was different in appearance and affect, the pride was generally accepting and eager to use Len's strengths to the family's advantage. As Len grows older and more independent, they find themself leaving the pride for longer periods when possible. They're secretly curious whether they could use their skills to build a more solitary life, in which they don't have to routinely answer to a pride or represent one in their travels.



Personality
Len is generally at ease and unhurried, happy to tackle their business at their own pace. They're notoriously calmling to be around, happy to listen to others' perspectives and experiences. Ultimately, though, Len does not crave much converesation and tends to keep to themself, keeping friendships fairly casual. As quiet and unassuming as Len is, there's also a magnetism about them through which they often find a stranger hanging on their words. Len is, admittedly, a bit fond of this attention, though they try not to use it to their advantage. Len is slow to anger, though they do tend to retreat inward when stressed, which can leave others guessing at how best to interact with them.
