Age: I’m more inclined to play her as an adult but I’m VERY open to the idea of building a plot where characters interact in other life stages. (i.e. them meeting as cubs or being cubhood friends, them interacting as adolescents, etc)

Description: Nenet is a young lioness that is quite beautiful, with rich brown fur with a lighter tan-toned underbelly and vivid green eyes. The tuft of her tail is a dark brown, as is the inner fur of her ears.
Her figure underneath the fur is lithe and toned with muscle from years living in the jungles and navigating the rough terrain. She also, oddly, enjoys accessorizing with colorful feathers or flowers, often tucking one behind her ear or on the tuft of her tail.

Behaviour:
Nenet is definitely a princess, in more ways than one. Headstrong to the point of stubbornness, but can be willing to put aside her pride whenever necessary. She can also be passionate about things she believes in and would argue vehemently in favor of her side. Unfortunately, she struggles with maintaining a ‘diplomatic indifference’ and can come off as emotional and immature, even if what she says makes sense.
Aside from that, she’s a kind lioness and quite empathetic, always willing to help those that would need it. Even if the task is too big, she would at least try her best. She can also be a bit of a flirt whenever meeting someone that interests her, often showing affection and clear favor towards her interest.
History:
Nenet was born deep in the jungles in a pride that has lived and thrived there for many generations. She’s the sole daughter of the reigning monarchs and is, as such, their only legitimate heir to the throne.
Ever since she was a cub, her father has instilled high expectations and almost harsh training into her. If she was to lead, she was to be strong. However, while she learned and was successful in the training and learning, she often craved freedom and adventure. As an adult, she obtained permission to go out on her own to seek out her thrills, but made a vow to return and retain her place when it’s time for her to step up as queen.

Like all lions, she is a carnivore. However, there are times where prey isn’t as easy to find or catch in the jungles as they would be on the savanna. So, there are times she would settle for a small snack on bugs, but she strongly prefers other sources of food.

Nenet’s father and reigning king of the jungle pride. Like father like daughter, the pair are both stubborn and can be argumentative, often butting heads over things ranging from small grievances to his high expectations of his only child and the heiress of his kingdom and pride. However, the pair are still close and he is proud of her. He just hopes that one day, she’ll be ready to lead.
Queen Nyota
Nenet’s mother and reigning queen of the jungle pride. She’s calmer than her husband, but definitely not softer. If anything, she can instill fear better than most and is still well respected as the queen. She also gives brilliant advice and often mediates the squabbles her mate and her child get into.
Tonzu
Her ‘brother’ and close friend. He was found as a cub near the border of their territory, lost and nearly dying. He was actually found by the patrol guards for the pride and carried back. Queen Nyota took him in and raised him alongside Nenet. He doesn’t seem to remember too much about his past, but then again, he seems to hesitate whenever asked to try.
