Of Course, TLKGO would not be here if it was not for all the members that put so much time and effort in the roleplays that they apart of. It may also be contributing in others ways from showing their amazing artwork to sharing the fun and laughs in the game threads. Any kind of activity that enriches our community is always a welcome one.
I think its time members get to show off that, so I will be awarding members with awards that will be proudly pinned to their profiles for everyone to see. Any awards given will be posted in this thread.
If you don't receive an award just yet, please don't be disheartened and don't think you have been overlooked or forgotten. Like any award if they were handed to everyone then its looses its feeling of accomplishment. When you do eventually win one it feels alot more rewarding ^^.
We understand everyone had different levels of activity and ability, so we try to be as inclusive as possible but while still keeping the award special and rewarding. So what you may think the award means doesn't necessarily mean the same for what we think it means. So you are still may be a potential member for the award.
The awards I will be announcing over the coming week.
TLKGO Veteran
When you think veteran you think "Years and years of service". That is not the case for this one. In my eyes, a TLKGO Veteran is a member that we feel has contributed alot to the forum, Yes they may even come and go but they always are a welcome sight in the community.
High Post count and how long they have been registered to the forum is not a definite factor for being awarded this. If an old member returns with thousands of posts, I'm not going to immediately reward them that badge. The Only exception maybe for this is Retired staff members, the time and effort they have put into looking after the forum is greatly appreciated and they have already proved their dedication by being hand picked to be a staff member in the first place.
Its a member that shows all round they can contribute to the forum whenever they can and shows great interest and enthusiasm. (We understand we all have stuff in life away from the computer)

Advanced Role-player
TLKGO welcomes anyone who wants to roleplay at any level. We understand that members of all abilities have to start somewhere and we welcome with open paws. But its always nice to commend the members that show great depth and thought in their roleplay posts. A few factors to take in
-This isn't just down to long, highly descriptive writing, but it may be a reason you get awarded.
-Having a great imagination
-Playing fair with fellow members
-Reading current roleplay posts properly and engaging in the current plotline. Your posts have that "spark" to keep the roleplay flowing and the story alive.

MOTM : Member of the Month/Moment
May not award every month, if the amount of members stay the same eventually everyone may get it and may seem less special xD. This member has just stood out from the crowd and gets along with everyone in the community. They may be roleplaying alot or it could be they just like to contribute in the games and chat thread alot and make everyone laugh. Any kind of extensive activity that get other members "Up and Dancing" (not literally, but if you do then you do have a good chance too xD). This award is voted for by the community, a Poll will be made at the start of April for our first one ^^.
More Awards may follow, but these are them for now. Keep your eyes open for when I make the first announcements on this thread
