Hey Silvia. Welcome to TLKGO:). We very much look very forward to getting to know you and writing with you, too! A little bad news I hope you won't find too discouraging: As this is a Lion King roleplay, we tend to roleplay african animals. I believe other large cats are permitted (such as jaguars and snow leopards, tigers etc) but I'm not sure about domestic short-haired. However the mention of humans is not allowed in our roleplays because they don't exist in the Lion King universe. This means you can't really play a domesticated animals. Very sorry to see you've already made a character and a post around this! The way I see it you have three options: 1) Change that first post so that your character, Silvia, is no longer a domestic animal. 2) Delete that post and start a new roleplay, with a wild animal. 3) You can join any number of other roleplays. For a first timer my suggestion would be the one in the Freestyle Roleplay Lobby titled "Lion King RP." I'm currently in that one with only one other person and it's moving fairly quickly, so you'll get to participate often. It's a bit lighter than your first post here though so if you want to start a new one with a bit more meat on the bone, that's fine too:). 4) I don't think anyone would have any problems with us doing a RP via the private messages about domesticated animals. If you want to do this, just send me a private message. It means nobody else would be able to see it though, which means it'd be limited to the people who have already joined. Anyway, I hope the rest of your time here is more fulfilling. I did like the first post of your RP by the way - lots of detail. You'll fit right in to many of the other RPs here in that respect. They're emoticons. So when you do " " or " " it'll pop up as an image. I think maybe you can turn it off? But I'm not sure how. I'll be very interesting to see what happens with the new Lion Guard cartoon. I'm wondering if they'll hint at humans in that, eventually. We'll see:) |
