Age: Late Adolescent/Young Adult, 17 years old
Gender: Male
Description:
Large, bulky, and prioritizing strength over speed, feroz sports a large size. Seeing as he is a young adult, his mane is not quite as full as most lions. His mane is a jet black, contrasting the golden fur on his body. His eyes are a deep green color.
Behaviour:
Feroz tends to speak his mind and not bar back his opinions for the sake of pleasing others. However, if somebody has a problem, he wants them to feel free to talk to him about it. He rarely speaks of what is bothering him to others, however. Unlike most lions from his home savannah (who believed only in mysterious spirits or in nothing at all) he holds the belief in a God of some sort, whom he prays to and attempts to communicate with.
History:
Feroz comes from the Setting Sun pride. Born into a pride with a growing rift between those who believed in spirits and those who believed in no religion at all, Feroz found comfort and dissociation with the conflict by his belief in a higher power (a single god). In a dream one night, what he perceived to be the god he believed in spoke to him, warning him that civil war was about to break out in his homeland, and telling him to escape and travel to the Pridelands to find the path that was intended of him. Sure enough, when he awoke, it was to the screams of a queen mourning her dead king. Quickly he escaped and traveled to the Pridelands, giving thanks to this higher power all the way. On the last day of his journey, the higher power told him in a dream that he was to fight to defend the Circle of Life, as it was the higher power's commandment that one must obey the circle. He is to this day a religious zealot of this higher power.
