Here in sweden Father's day arrives at sunday and I'm not really sure what to give/ do this year D:
So I thought this could be a thread where we post smart ideas for gifts for the appreciation day of our fathers

I'm just going to make him some cake when he comes over here on Monday. :3 In all honesty, I'm sure he would be perfectly happy with me just calling him tomorrow (which I am about to do anyway), but I feel like doing something extra and he loves the cakes I make. x)

Get him something related to the hobbies he likes to do.

If I could do anything for my dad for Father's Day, I'd take him on field trips. My dad's a geologist and nature lover, so I'd take him hiking in some state parks nearby, or drive him out West to see the Rocky Mountains with him :3

My dad is still recovering from a severe stroke he had in May. Can't wait to take him out and do these things again.

And Zulu I'm really sorry to hear that. My mother went through something very similair 6 years ago on december. She had subarachnoid bleeding, wich is a vain bursting and letting out blood in the subarachnoid space, in simpler terms it's the area between your skull bone and bain.

It's never the same for everyone but I think I can relate to how it's been for you. I bet your dad can't wait to be healthy enough to be able to go on adventures with you again ^^ I wish you guys the best <3
