Hey everyone! I wanted to create this thread for two big reasons. The first of these is to apologies for my near month-long absence that I didn't announce. Being in my first year of college I'm sure you can all understand when I say that my workload just kind of blew up as Spring break approached. Now that Spring break is here (it goes until this coming Monday for me) I expect the amount of work I get to stay pretty constant until the last few weeks. The other reason I created this thread is to share with you my pictures from my Spring break locale! Since Sunday I've been in Hawaii with my dad and I will be here for a few more days before heading back to New Jersey on Saturday. I'm going to be posting some pictures here if anyone is interested in seeing them! Again, I apologize for not letting anyone know about my previous absence but I hope these pretty pictures will smooth things over!  |

Thanks Kirsui and Leo; I'm still working on getting all of the pictures off of my camera and picking the best ones to show you guys. I have a couple to start with, both taken on the island of Maui where we started this trip (we're in Oahu, the island of the capital, Honolulu, right now). These shots were both taken at the same beach and the turtles were just sitting there bathing in the sun while. There were about five or six of them on the beach in total.   As I said before I have a ton of pictures to go through and I haven't even scratched the surface! I can't wait until I have more time to show you all some more! |

I've got two more good ones from our last two days in Maui! The first is from the famous "Road to Hana" which is essentially a gorgeous drive all around the circumference of one of the island's massive extinct volcano. In fact, the rocks in that shot are actually volcanic. The second shot is facing into the center of the previously mentioned volcano, Haleakala. I had to include this one because it's essentially like seeing another mountain range within a giant mountain (sort of =P).   I head back home today so I should be back to participating regularly on the forums soon enough! |

Thanks for understanding everyone! I'm home now and I should have more time to RP now! I also should have one more set of pictures for all of you from the other island (Oahu) coming pretty soon so don't forget about this thread just yet |
