Lion plushies.

So I noticed that there is a disturbing lack of lion plush patterns on deviantart.

Actually, much like what maligns me about how 90% of furry characters seem to be wolves, 90% of plushie patterns are...

They're wolves.  And other things.  But no lions, no cats.  I guess I found one for a panther.

But at this point I obviously have to make my own.



At the moment, I'm using a combination of a 3d program and the Sora 3d model from Kingdom Hearts to develop this pattern.  I haven't tried anything yet but I'm going to combine this head design with the FAO lion I tore apart last week.

So anyone else good at sewing?

Oooh. I've been after a decent lion pattern myself for some time now and I agree that they don't pop up often... I wouldn't say I'm good at sewing, but I enjoy it from time to time and I've had plans to make a nice plush of my character Kanu for absolutely ages. The last one I made is a decade old this year and... it's... erm. Let's not talk about how it turned out I bought some nice fur fabric to make a new one years ago (just to prepare, you know? xD) but the lack of patterns has kind of halted the progress, haha. If you happen to come up with a good design I'd really love to see it!
