Maji is a thin, weak male lion with light, almost white fur. His toes, chin and belly are a slightly darker cream color. He has some spots in random places on his fur that are the same color as his chin and belly. Four of these spots are under his left eye. His eyes are bright blue towards his pupils and lighter blue further away from them. His light red mane does not cover the full extent that a lions mane normally would. It covers only the top of his head, back of his neck, and a little on his shoulders.
While he is very weak and unable to fight, he has a couple uncommon strengths. Maji has both a photographic and echoic memory. He is able to recall sights and sounds exactly as they happened with 100% accuracy.
Maji is skittish, extremely shy and fearful. He tries to minimize contact with others as much as he possibly can. He can be easily manipulated through fear or physical harm, something he is very familiar with. Maji keeps to the shadows, always staying out of sight and only sleeping where he knows he will be alone. While his special memory helps him to navigate and recognize danger, it does not much help him in his search for food. He cannot easily hunt for himself. Even taking down a warthog is tough for him.
Killed when Maji was young, his parents were nomadic, traveling by themselves. They did not belong to a pride. They were suspicious of them all. They tried to shield Maji from their influences, claiming they were all slaves to their alpha males who they called "kings". One day, a particularly harsh pride became angry at the nomadic lions, feeling insulted by their accusations. They killed Majis parents and took him in. As he grew, he was noticeably weaker than all the other lions. Since he was not able to hunt or provide any other means of help to the pride, he became a servant to the alpha male. Maji kept records for the king and was forced to spy on anyone he was suspicious of. Whenever Maji failed to do his job or told the king something he didn't want to hear, true or not, Maji was beaten. With no plans for escape, for fear of what the king would do to him if he tried, his only hope of leaving the nightmare is to be saved.
Voice:Domnhall Gleeson (I apologize for the unexpectedly quiet video. Also, some scenes in this clip might be a bit disturbing to some viewers.)
Description: Uriah has soft, light, creamy fur with even lighter fur around his eyes and on his belly. His mane is a brownish color with a darker section going from his shoulders to his chest. He has a strong, fit body with no scars. Bright blue eyes bejewel his face. Uriah is very similar in appearance to his brother.
Behavior: Uriah likes a good laugh from time to time and enjoys making others laugh. His presence brings a sort of uplifting feeling to an otherwise boring crowd. He has always been an encouragement to his friends and to his brother, Zoba, with whom he travels. The two separate from time to time but always seem to find each other. Sometimes they run into each other without even trying as if they were meant to cross paths constantly. He isn’t much of a fighter like his brother is but he can hold his own against a few hyenas if he has to. Uriah is a master of stealth. With his keen, blue eyes, he is able to find ways often overlooked to creep up on whoever his unsuspecting target is. His prey has almost never spotted him before he pounces. The only one able to sense his presence when he is hiding is Zoba who knows him too well to miss him. Uriah makes new friends all the time during his travels when separated from Zoba. Though he is quite jovial most of the time, his serious side shows when the appropriate time comes. Uriah frequently adorns his face with streaks of blue war paint made from blue flowers and berries.
History: Uriah and his brother, Zoba, were born together. Their parents raised them until they died when the brothers were adolescents. Uriah’s and Zoba’s mother and father were both rogues, not being part of a pride. They grew up together as best friends, strong and ready to take on the world. Uriah and Zoba have met many prides, fought many battles and made many friends on their journeys thus far.
Description: Zoba is a particularly large lion. Most who stand next to him, tend to feel rather small in comparison. His eyes are a fiery orange color. His fur is the same light, creamy color as his brother as well as his brown mane with the dark section starting on his shoulders and going down to his chest. He has one scar on his shoulder that is mostly covered by his mane.
Behavior: Unlike his brother, Uriah, Zoba is serious most of the time but still enjoys frequent cheerful banter. Zoba is a wanderer and often travels with his brother. Zoba is not good at hunting because he is too big and easily seen. On the other hand, Zoba has amazing fighting ability and stamina. He prefers to keep his mane out of his eyes as much as possible. Zoba is typically very quiet and will usually only speak when he has something important to say. He likes cubs and feels very protective of them even though they may not be his own. Zoba and his brother travel together but they regularly go separate ways for a while and usually end up finding each other a few days to a few weeks later. Zoba frequently adorns his face with streaks of orange war paint made from flowers and berries.
History: Zoba and his brother were born to a strong father and a loving mother. The small family did not belong to a pride but rather wandered about and lived wherever they went. Both of their parents loved them and raised them carefully. When the brothers were adolescents, their mother and father died. Uriah and Zoba stayed together and roamed around just as their parents had. They have met many prides, fought many battles and made many friends on their journeys thus far.
Alari is a fairly average looking lioness. Her fur could be described as scruffy with defined tufts in various places like her chest, cheeks, elbows and the top of her head. She has an ever so slightly darker stripe of fur beginning in the scruff on the top of her head and ending just past her shoulder blades. She's just short of being on the stocky side but by no means is she lanky. Her eyes are a deep red and her nose a dark pink.
Alari has a care-free, impulsive nature. However, given a goal, she'll do whatever it takes to achieve it. But usually, her attitude and the means she uses reflect an inability to be at all serious. This tends to involve charging headlong into a situation and making it up as she goes. She understands the typical brashness of her actions but also knows she's not smart enough to come up with better plans, often referring to herself as "not a smart lioness." She finds attractiveness in both males and females and tends to be a bit flirtatious. Often, this proves useful in attaining her goals. In combat, her inability to preemptively make a plan hardly matters. She's very fast and has an extensive understanding of pressure points and joint locks. She knows how to make someone talk and with the addition of her precise claws, she can quickly deal with a threat. She prefers to use her charisma and flawless poker face to get things done but if she ever meets someone she deems deserving of death, she shows a wrathful, vengeful side of her personality.
I'm still working on an "original" history but I'll leave the version I made for Till The Pride Lands End here for now.
Alari is the daughter of Tiifu. She grew up with all the love and support a cub could ask for. Due to her daring personality, she'd always take the most direct rout to a destination, even if it was the toughest possible way to get there. In her mind, taking the easy path was boring. Rather than going around a steep hill or pile of boulders, she'd go over it. Over time, she developed a parkour-like technique for getting from one place to another quickly. Her running speed is average but she'll get places quicker than anyone else because of her agility, reflexes, and eagle eye for shortcuts. With her daredevil tendencies and goofy nature, she gets along with Bunga, the Lion Guard member. In fact, it might be from him that she adopted her "zuka zama" mentality. She spends most of her time exploring and catching up with friends. Alari is sensitive to the emotions of others but sometimes needs to calm down before she realizes comfort is needed rather than a joke.
Usawa is a somewhat stocky looking cub with brown spots all over him. His toes are the same brown color as his spots. Part of his tail tuft is braided with a silver ring holding the braid in place. Atatched to the silver ring is a feather (representing lightness/ low density) similar in color to Usawas fur including brown spots. In addition to the feather, he has an earring on his left ear with a small, grey pebble hanging from it (representing heaviness/ high density). His eyes are brown and he has a tuft of dark brown fur on the top of his head.
Usawa is a lighthearted, playful cub. He enjoys entertaining himself, usually using his abilities to do so. He has become used to being alone but enjoys company too. He likes helping others especially if he can use his abilities to do so.
In spite of the fact that he is usually used to being alone, sometimes the feeling of solitude hits him and he becomes sad. This is the only time he feels slightly heavier and is not sure if that is normal or if it is due to his abilities.
Sometimes, objects around him are affected depending on his mood. When Usawa is angry, objects around him tend to become heavier and when he is happy, objects around him tend to become lighter. When he sleeps, Usawa sometimes awakes to find stones floating and plants waving in the air as if being pulled out of the ground.
Usawas abilities have made it easy for him to find and catch food.
History: Usawa doesn’t remember his parents or how and where he got his abilities. His only conclusion is that he lost his memory after he attained his abilities. This is probably also how he got the feather and pebble that are attached to his ear and tail. Though he would like to meet his parents some day, he doesn’t know where he would begin so he doesn’t bother looking. Instead he hopes that one day, he may meet them any way.
Special abilities: Density control – Usawa has the ability to control the density of an object. In other words, he can make an object lighter or heavier. This includes living things.
Example 1. Usawa could make a rock so heavy that it would begin sinking into the ground.
Example 2. Usawa could make a rock so light that it would begin to float in mid air.
While he is able to make objects lighter and heavier, Usawa is not able to determine the direction that an object will go. He may make a stone float in the air but he can not make the stone go in a determined direction.
Density sense – This is a 6th sense that Usawa has. He is able to determine the general weight of anything around him. Even if he is not able to smell, hear or see something, he may be able to sense it through this ability. This sense allows him to know the weight of something but if he is not able to see it (perhaps the object is behind him or something is obscuring his view of the object) it is difficult for him to know the size of the object. He is able to sense density of objects within about a 20 to 30-meter radius.
Strengths: Usawa has used his abilities all the time so he has perfected what he knows he can do with them. However, he continues to experiment with his abilities.
Within Usawas density sensation range, his ability to control density increases but only a little bit and especially if he can see the object.
Weaknesses: Usawa usually must have some focus on what he is controlling the density of. If he is controlling the density of one object, the task is very simple for him but as the quantity or size of the item increases, the more he has to focus.
More focus is required to only control the density of parts of an object (e.g. only a specific branch on a tree).
He can only control the density of what he can see. The exception to this is if the object is within his density sensation range of 20 to 30 meters.
Usawas density sense is limited by the fact that he cannot necessarily determine the size of an object if he cannot see it. Outside of a 20-30 meter radius, Usawa is not able to sense the density of objects.
Usawa is not able to make himself heavier or lighter.
Name: Mahali Species: Lion Age: Adolescent Gender: Male
Mahali has an average build for a lion. His light fur contrasts with his dark brown mane which is already growing in more quickly than most other males his age. The mane on his chest is thick and has almost spread up to his shoulders while the mane on the top of his head has reached all the way down the back of his neck. The two portions haven't met over his shoulders yet but what mane he has is long and thick. His eyes, often hidden behind parts of his mane, are a rusty brown color.
Mahali is very quiet. He's a lion of few words. Most of what he has to say is refined to a sentence or two. While not timid, Mahali is not very assertive either. He doesn't like confrontation and will rarely ever stand up against adversity. He likes to be alone and relishes the opportunity to find quiet places where he can be left with his thoughts. This is not to say that he dislikes company. He enjoys it but finds some difficulty with interacting. Parts of his long mane tend to get in front of his eyes, something he's still getting used to. Mahali likes to sing when he's alone which is not something he'd like others to know. He's very good at singing and he knows it, though he doesn't think much of his talent.
Rift Walk - Mahali can disappear into the rift, a different plane of existence. In the rift, he is invisible to everyone else but he is able to see and hear everything clearly. In the rift, gravity works very differently. Its not so much a law of physics as it is a suggestion. While in the rift, Mahali can easily run up virtical surfaces or even stand upside down on a ceiling. Mahali cannot interact with objects in the world while he is in the rift. If he touched someone, he would simply pass through them.
Banish - Mahali can send others to and from the rift.
Name: Asali Race: Lion Sex: Male Age: Adolescent/Young Adult
Description: (Looks based on Artyom Stolyarov) Asali is an attractive, charming young lion. He has light tan fur, with an even lighter blonde, almost white mane that falls over his head and neck in a scruffy, boyish way. His eyes are bright blue.
Behavior: Asali's initial demeanor is a bit misleading. He comes across as a gentle lion but in reality, he places no value in others. He gains the trust of almost anyone effortlessly. His attractive nature, honey-smooth voice, and initially peaceful behavior tend to incite a desire to follow him. Little do his victims know that he would sooner kill them for almost no reason other than just because he could. In his philosophy, rule number one is survival of the fittest. Rule number two: The fittest make the rules and are beholden to no moral high ground. Anything you want to do is permissible. Asali is convinced that he can make anyone relize this and that everyone has the potential to become just like him.
History: When Asali was a cub, he and his parents were struck by lightning as they huddled together, hiding from a storm. Miraculously, he survived. But his parents both died. This freak occurrence of nature caused him to adopt a pessimistic worldview as he realized that feelings of trust and care made one weak because the world doesn't care. So why should he? As he grew up, he began to discover that he was very different from anyone else. The first time he died, he was being attacked by hyenas. The little cub gave into the reality that he was going to die and that's just the way things were. That's just how the world worked. Dying was painful, but only briefly. As soon as the world went dark and silent, it burst back into light and he found himself lying under a familiar tree next to the skeletons of his parents.
Confused, and not entirely convinced it was a dream, he moved on, continuing to try to survive. The next day, Asali was found by the same hyena's however, no matter what they did to this "disappearing lion cub," they could not pierce his skin. All their efforts to draw blood were futile, however, they were able to break several bones. Eventually, the hyenas grew bored and left him crippled and alone.
Asali soon died of starvation and once again, he found himself next to the bones of his parents. He began to put together an idea of what was happening to him when he discovered he could not starve anymore. He went weeks without food because he could not hunt for himself but he did not starve to death. What's more, he discovered he had the ability to bleed again. Asali died over and over as he grew up but he could never be killed by the same thing twice in a row. He gained immunity to whatever was his cause of death each time he died, and every time, he was brought back to life through a lightning bolt in the same spot, which had begun to char and turn black from multiple lightning strikes.
Respawn - If Asali dies, his body will disappear and he will be respawned at the location where he got his powers.
Adaptive Resurrection - When Asali respawns, he gains immunity to whatever killed him. If he is killed again, he will lose immunity to that cause of death and gain immunity to what killed him the second time, and so on.

Thanks! I love those two characters. I came up with them specifically so that I could join any RP with one or both of them, and it could feasibly be considered the next chapter in their story from the previous RP. Minimum potential for conflicting plot points across different roleplays. =D
Description: Vita is big, scary, and intimidating. A life of pain and struggle has made him a solid wall of leonine muscle. His dark mane and scarred, burnt-orange fur give him an unnerving air about him that is betrayed by bright, frost-blue eyes. He has a deep, rich, voice which he uses softly, but rarely.
Behavior: Vita is seen smiling about as often as he speaks. It's a rare occurrence. As one of the 5 knights of his pride, Vita performs his duties as a protector of not only his own pride but of anyone in need. He does so with such extreme stoic, emotionless wrath that most are left too afraid to even thank him. His intimidating presence tends to scare the cubs away, though they know he's there to protect them.
History: "In the midst of combat, you must give your enemy no solace. Harbor no empathy for them. Remove pity from your heart and do not allow their pleas for mercy sway you. You must separate yourself from all emotion when you step into battle."
- Vita's Father
Born into a life of war, Vita was trained to be a warrior since he could open his eyes. His pride was in constant turmoil with attacking prides of lions and packs of hyenas. Every surrounding territory wanted theirs and while most prides would have left, his chose to stay and fight. As he grew up, everything he knew involved knowing how to fight and kill. Vita slowly became calloused to most emotion. Whenever he didn't fight hard enough, it cost the life of someone in his pride. Soon, Vita became so efficient at defending his pride that his enemies began to give up.
In one final battle, the surrounding prides joined together to try to take the middle land once and for all. The first casualty was Vita's father. One by one, his pride fell. Lost in rage, Vita attacked the group of lions and won against 20 to 1 odds. At the end of it, only he and his mother remained. After greiving the loss of their entire pride, Vita wondered what to do now that there were no more enemies to fight and no more of his pride to defend. His mother convinced him to try to have the life of a normal lion. To go out and find a pride of his own. While his mother still lives alone in the now vast, unclaimed lands that belonged to so many warring prides, Vita found a pride that was willing to harbor him and count him among their protectors. Protection and fighting are all he knows and Vita is content to live out his life being useful in that way.
Born from the fire clean, crawling through the dirt like war 5 years, my mother gave her voice for war. 10, I was dead, born again with eyes for war By 15, hate was the name of my war Wash me in the river Give me to the pain of Lifewar Lifewar 20 years gone, and father told me life was like war Hands to the bone, 25 years of war 30, I wake to the sound of souls at war I will pass through, buried with the flag of my war. Wash me in the river Give me to the pain of Lifewar Lifewar
