I give my greatest congratulations to Pulsar and Ruby. They are officially engaged  .  Pulsar Popped the question to Ruby today while at a restaurant and she happily said yes. ^^ As you know Pulsar and Ruby although are far away from me, are very close friends of mine and this news has put a big smile on my face. You two make a lovely couple and whenever i have met you both in real life, i always feel so happy for you and see how happy you are together. You both are awesome and i wish you two the very best, in the future you will lovingly share together. *noogies you both* |

Thanks guys from both of us. Your words mean a lot to us hehe  Astraia - Yes you can do a picture but the meeting and proposal may not fill your hopeless romantic side  but pretty much, he's known me since I was 13 (he was like 18 at the time) then I disappeared off the forum and we lost contact for a few years then I came back when I was about 17 or 18 I think and we got talking and such. We had the shoutbox and were both on their just started talking and hit it off well. THen we were chatting on skype one day and I (I'm so lovely) called him an idiot for not realising I liked him, he said he did too but didn't want to scare me off then like a few days later he was like "Stuff it, Erin will you go out with me". Then like a week later he came to Manchester to see me (He's in Ireland) and we spent the weekend together, we realised that we worked really well despite 'rushing' into a relationship (might I add this all happened in a space of like 3 weeks, between a few days after Christmas, became a couple the 11th Jan, met up the 22nd for the weekend XD) and yeah a year later we're still going strong. The proposal, hehe. We'd been discussing it a day or so before and we were like, "Okay why don't we. We both thought about it with both want it. Let's do it." It was mainly for our peace of mind because even though we do love each other we both still wanted that confidence and comfort that we do want this to last and that it will last so we agreed and bought the ring yesterday morning (will post pic below) and I thought he was going to wait a few days but he did it on the morning of my birthday, a few hours after we bought it (even though I knew, I didn't know when as such). And we were in the local restaurant with my dad, gran and family friend and he got down on one knee and proposed. It took me a few minutes to actually speak but I did keep nodding and grinning and blusing haha. And then yeah, pretty much it became official and such . Next step is saving up to get a flat together (hopefully in the new year). Leor - pahaha maybe, we'll see Ask Pulsar XD  It's nothing big and flashy but we wanted sentimental. The stone is a ruby because that's what his pet name for me, I'm his ruby. But the pattern outside the ring is a little bit like a star which is appropriate because that's my pet name for him, he's my star. |

Riiiiiiiiigggggghhhhhtttttttt....so....remember that picture I wanted to draw? Well, I finally, finally, finally got down to drawing it! It's not much, I'm sorry I would totally draw a background, but I suck at backgrounds.  I am soooooo sorry it took so long, and I'm also really sorry I suck at doing backgrounds (or getting inspired to do backgrounds)! I promise I'm going to get better and end up making astonishing backgrounds! Maybe I'll come back to this piece one day and make a background for it.  I think I used the word backgrounds to much. Ah this is extremely cute! x3 Really nice drawing, Eliora, I actually think you're improving and I get you about drawing backgrounds, it's something that kept me back from drawing some years ago >< but you're on the right track. Thanks Leorgathar your feedback means a lot! I think I'm going to start doing some more requests, and force myself to make backgrounds for them. That way I get more practice, and I won't psych myself out of not doing them because I won't want to let anyone down! It's a win-win. Sort of haha. |

Jk jk I can hardly blame you, I am devilishly handsome after all, if not for the fact I see my glorious face every morning in the mirror I'd probably have pictures of me too. Ruby's cute looking also, I guess. Jokes aside I absolutely love the drawing Eliora, fabulous stuff. I was very speechless when I seen it, surprised too. It's a very touching gesture and one that is very much appreciated by both myself and Ruby (she's already gone and replaced my drawing with yours ). Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I had been away on a Stags for my sister's fiancee since they'll be getting married soon. But yes, thank you so very much, it's lovely. ^_^ |

Well, I'd say you've got a keeper there Ruby XD If he can tear his eyes away from himself, clearly you mean a lot! Thanks Pulsar I'm glad you liked it! And I'm glad I was able to give the happy couple something, even if it wasn't very much. Marriage is an amazing thing and should be celebrated! I really hope you guys share a wonderful lifetime together and make some awesome memories. Everyone deserves a happy ending (not that this is an ending), but from what I've seen on the forum you two truly deserve it. Also, I'm taking requests again and each request gets a background. I feel pretty bad for not making a background for this picture so I'm going to add it to the end of the list. I'll also do another picture of Pulsar and Ruby as a way of redeeming myself (not in your eyes, in mine). It will make me feel better. So yep you can expect that eventually. |
