Camp and College

[Hypercube]

So I won't be as active as I usually am during this week as a result of two things. First of all I'm staffing at a camp that involves building big structures, catapults, rafts, etc. out of wooden spars and rope this whole week and I won't be around a computer with an internet connection as often as I usually am. I will post pictures of the camp and the stuff we build if you guys want to see any of it =3

Also I should mention that even though I may be home during some of the nights this week I won't be able to spend that time RPing since I will be finalizing my packing and preparing to move out to college. I move out of my house on Friday and in addition to having a lot to do still I'm kinda freaking out a little bit =P Anyway I'm not saying that I won't be active at all because I will do my best to stay on top of things, but I may take longer than usual to reply to posts.

I don't know how long this will go on past this week too since I will be adjusting to the new life style and what-not... but I hope it isn't too long!

Moving to college must be making you excited and nervous at the same time, I really wish you good luck, and hope that all goes well

Thanks Leo. I'm both really excited and really nervous to go. I can't wait to start studying the things I love and begin the new chapter of my life that comes with college but it is a huge change that comes without any real easing into.

I will settle for no less than a picture of a trebuchet and if possible a video of said device in action!
I will also settle for a picture of a catapult I suppose... or just pictures in general I guess.

They were both stable and all 23 campers were able to make it over without hassle. It is awesome! I finally found a little five minute lull in our working and I figured I would use that time to run over to pretty much the only good computer that's open in camp post on this thread at least. I also want to let you all know that since I am officially moved out of my house and ready for my move on Friday that I will be pretty much completely inactive (minus some activity here when I get the opportunity) from now until probably Monday.

Despite this I hope to find some time to keep posting pictures on the photobucket page that I've been putting them on so you can see what I'm up to!

Hey guys! So I've finally moved into college and I'm sitting here trying to wrap my head around the fact that this is my new home now...


Anyway I want to respond to the RP's I am in and I have a nice chunk of time in the next few days that would work well for it so expect me to reply to all of you soon! Otherwise I have pictures for all of you of the camp that I staffed just before I came here and wanted to post the links here for everyone. There is one project I wasn't around to see but I will have to acquire the pictures/video that must exist somewhere from it.

Those constructions are pretty sweet, loved the treb, even if it wasn't capable of flinging cows over castle walls XD

As for college, it probably seems overwhelming at first, like there's so much to do and so much going on, but that's just because you're jumping into it for the first time. You'll find that things will start slotting themselves into place soon enough and you'll be looking back and wondering why you were letting it get to you as much as it was. Just take your time, if things start to stress just pause for a moment and take a deep breath. At the end of the day, things aren't moving as quick as they appear, as long as you can see what is ahead and you make preparations for it, you'll be fine. Then again, if you do the usual college stereotype and stay up all night partying and drinking and doing reports and study last inure, then yeah, it's going to be stressful

So my actual orientation program is beginning to pick up and I won't have as much free time as I did in the past couple if days. As a result I won't be as active as I usually am again but I will still do my best to post when I can!
