Crossing Boarders {Private}

[Accalia]

Ulivu was dangerously close to enemy boarders and knew she needed to cross them if she was to keep Kivuli, a small cub she had saved not that long ago. Ulivu was known for remaining calm and she was not about to lose her composure over fear of other lions. She had no real idea how large the pride that owned the lands in question was but it didn't matter all that much right now. She turned to Kivuli and whispered to her calmly "I'm going to need you to stay as quite as possible ok?"

Kivuli could sense the air of tension about the way Ulivu was acting and she nodded, her small body hunched over in a sitting position, she knew that if she was going to be safe she would have to trust and listen to everything Ulivu told her. She did just that, she nodded and clasped her paws over her mouth and looked up at Ulivu with her large round eyes, waiting for her approval.

Eupe relaxed in the sun on a big rock.
This was not his pride but he had known it's leaders since childhood and therefor was always welcome to spend some time with them while he was on his travels.

Waking up he got bored quickly and alone he decided to go for a drink in a idyllic small pond located on the edge of his friends lands.

Ulivu could see a small pool of water not to far away and she was so thirsty. She slowly and cautiously walked towards the water, her body close to the ground. She was so close now, she was to close, she saw a large male standing there taking a drink, he would notice her now she was within smelling range and most likely not be kind.

Kivuli had seen the male just after Ulivu had left and she ran after her, her feet not making any sound, she reached her just as she saw the lion and pulled on her ear, "there is a big lion..." She whispered in her ear.

The small words from a whispering voice in the distance caught his left ear as it turned. His body froze and he stopped drinking the refreshing water while his nostrils flared for a scent, and he caught a whiff of what made the sound, a smell all animals knew, the threatening smell of an unknown big cat.. Wait no.. two big cats.
He got up and extended his claws, letting out a timid growl while looking at the tall grass the voice came from.
" Show yourselves." He spoke with narrowed eyes.

Ulivu felt the shuddering sound of the male echo through her body. Slowly she raised her head and body, pushing Kivuli back behind her. Her ears flicked back against her head, but she did not growl. Her cool expression followed his and she said calmly "I need water and this is all the water I can find at presence please allow me to drink and then I will leave." she did not want to have to leave without giving Kivuli some water, if she did not drink she wouldn't survive much longer out here. Kivuli walked forwards and pressed her face against Ulivu's soft leg, a small tear running down her face.
