New Home [Jump in]

[chloe]

Chloe's tail dragged behind her as she stumbles to put one paw in front of the other. She can't remember the last time she has had a good meal or a satisfying drink of water. After the fire took her last home and separated her from her pride, she has been searching for a new home, but she has not had any luck yet. Her stomach rumbles painfully reminding her of how hungry and weak she is. When she was about to give up hope that she will ever find  a new home she comes across a watering hole.

'Finally.' she thinks to herself, 'Maybe I can find something to eat around here.'

She tries to run to the glorious water only to trip over her own paws and hurt her left front paw. She yells in pain almost positive that she broke it, when she looks down at it she saw that it was bent in a way it wasn't suppose to be bent. She looked up to the watering hole that was about six lion lengths away.

'That's just my luck.' she thinks to her self, 'I finally find some water and possibly food just to hurt myself and have the hope taken away from me.'

She lays there gently licking her hurt paw whining softly.

Li'nathe saw the clear water sparkling and ran towards it. He splashed in the cool liquid, he smiled with pleasure as his body I surrounded by the water. However when he clams he sees a white lioness, he wondered why she wasn't by the waters edge and decided to walk over slowly, "He-hello?" She said before reaching her resting spot.

He stood there, seeing here bent paw and sighed, "Are you all right?" He asked even though he could see she obviously wasn't. He wasn't sure as to what to do, not knowing whether to carry her to the water or just sit by her side. After a moments calculation he gently lifted her and carried her to the cool water, placing her in the shallower parts of the waterhole. "Please, excuse me for my rudeness, but it looked like you need help." He said apologetically.

Chloe goes limp as she is being carried to the water and set down in it. She takes a few drinks from the water and looks up at her rescuer and gives him a small smile.

"Thank you." she said to him going back to drinking as much as the water as she could hold.

This is just what she needed, it has been to long since she has had a good drink of water.

Chloe looks up at the lion, "So may I have the name of my hero please?" she asked him, "My name is Chloe."

[Accalia]

"Your welcome!" he said smiling as she laps up a considerable amount of water and he gives her a look of astonishment "You were thirsty!"

*maybe I did make the right choice he thought*

He gave her a large smile "That is a very pretty name, Chloe! I'm Li'nathe."

[chloe]

"nice to meet you Li'nathe." She said trying to get up, but once she put weight on her hurt paw she fell back down slashing the lion a little.

"And yes I was thirsty it's been a while since I've had a good drink." She said licking her paw, "You wouldn't have any food on you by chance do you?" she looks up hopefully.

[Accalia]

"Don't over use your paw, it looks as if it might be broken..." He looks back at where he had come from, he had the choice to be greedy or generous. He looked at her blue eyes and sighs, "Yes, stay here."

He went to retrieve two small meerkats he had killed earlier, placing them in front of Chloe, smiling gently

Chloe's mouth started to water at the site of the food as she reaches out and grabs the smallest meerkat.

"Thank you so much." she says right before she eats like she hasn't in days.

The taste of fresh meat was such a taboo taste to her these past few moons. Lately she would just eat what she found already dead. It didn't take her long to finish her meal she looks up and smiles at the lion.

"You have no idea how great that was. I haven't had a fresh meal in almost three moons." she says to the lion bowing a little to show respect. "Now I need to keep moving I don't mean to be trespassing on your territory."

Chloe gets up not putting her hurt paw down as she starts to hobble away slowly.

Li'nathe smiled at her, and chuckles at how fast she eats, "That is a long time without fresh food..." then when she bows to him and beggins to hobble off she runs infront of her "Whoa, you aren't going anywhere, if you keep using that paw it will never heal.." he says sitting her down.
